"So much more popular" - not sure it's at that level yet. Some people prefer him, and so do I. There are similarities like you said, and them both being foreign is the biggest one, but there are differences in some of things you have mentioned. You say both of them are good in the ring, and I agree with that, but I much prefer watching Cesaro matches than ADR's. I personally find Cesaro's matches much more entertaining, as I feel I get more "holy shit" moments than ADR provides. Cesaro does spots like that suplex over the top rope I think he done on main event, and then smashing Miz over and over into the barricade. I never see those from ADR.

They're both terrible on the mic; they bore me to tears. Cesaro has a manager now though, and one of the best, so that's another reason I prefer Cesaro mic segments over ADR's. So that's 2-0 so far. Cesaro isn't pushed down our throats; his segments are short. Vince is REALLY trying to nail down that Hispanic market and push ADR to the moon constantly after the WWE fans continue to reject him, so naturally the constant overpush ADR has received is another negative. I know that is not his fault, but you can't be ignorant to the fact people will take that into account. That's 3-0.

ADR has better facial expressions, mannerisms, and charisma, but it's hard to enjoy that around the booking he receives. But he does get a point for it.

To summarise: I think you're overreacting. Quite a large portion of the IWC aren't Cesaro fanboys. I don't see many on here ever asking Cesaro to break into the main event even. I think most would say that both Cesaro and ADR belong in the midcard.

No way. ADR is where he should be, and I picture Cesaro as an upper mid card/ME platooner, especially if he keeps Zeb. Cesaro should win the briefcase for the WHC IMO

Said most. I know you wouldn't want that. ADR being in the ME is getting Sheamus like responses: "just get the fuck out".

Rhodes'll get it. Cesaro wouldnt really "need" it.

Eh, I'd be fine with Rhodes (or Barrett), but I'm rooting for Cesaro.

You can keep talking out of your ass, but ADR has gotten plenty of heat since re-turning heel whether you can muster up the courage to admit you were wrong or not.

We watch different shows it seems. This post was made by the same guy who said he got plenty of pops as a face. Did you forget that Lilian Garcia had to beg the crowd to go along with the "ooooooooo" shit during commercial breaks? Get over the fact he's not over dude. He gets reactions a show or two after his turns, but then goes back to crickets.

The points system is rather flawed. I don't see how having a manager = 1 point, whereas facial expressions, mannerisms and charisma, things that are essential in the story telling of a match, are only worth 1.

I get people that appreciate Cesaro's style more than ADR's. Cesaro's power is mental, I'd honestly be game for a match vs Big Show just to see if he could deadlift him, it wouldn't surprise me. In the same way, I find myself near fapping at some ADR's kicks, they look so painful and the noise he can generate from them without making it obvious he's slapped his leg is ridiculous. Differing tastes I guess.

Over a pretty lengthy period of time I've seen quite a few folks with Cesaro sigs/Avys and demanding that he's pushed, but hardly any ADR appreciation with most saying he's been overpushed. I don't really know where people want ADR and Cesaro to be, but I'd be happy to see them be in the pre-2008 Jericho role, midcarders who make the step up when necessary.

I don't even think it's his fault. I've said numerous times I have absolutely no idea why the crowd don't eat him up lol. I'm with you when you go on about how talented he is. I always wonder whether if he would have had better reactions if WWE didn't want to go on and on about the fact he's Mexican to nail down that market. A completely different gimmick could do ADR wonders.

You are basing this thread on a few sigs?

I think Del Rio has proved what he's capable of when he fights the best guys in the company. That's why I'm going with Cesaro, because he has lots of things to prove, he deserves a push.

He should have a feud with JBL. Have JBL deport his family
