i think theyre creating stars who are too old :finger: they need to be in their mid 20's so they can help carry the company for a long time.

You mean like Drew McIntyre. :obama:

The thing is with WWE, Talent seem's to retire around 40 years old, so people like Riley (31), Rhodes (27), McIntyre (27), Hawkins (27), Sandow (30), Slater (29), Swagger (30) Ted DiBiase, Jr (29), Trent Barreta (29), Zack Ryder (29) All have a long time ahead of them.

Most wrestlers hit their prime within that 35-40 year mark. It's not really a problem that they are pushing guys who are in their early 30's or pushing it.

As for the topic, Ryback would probably be my choice. He stands out among the new(er) wrestlers today because you don't see a lot of jacked up guys like him anymore. Compare him to most of the other newer guys to see my point. Plus, Vince is high on him and convinced he will be the next big star, so they will continue to push him until he gets over. If what I hear is correct (I can't be bothered to watch Raw or especially SD anymore), Ryback is already getting a lot of cheers and the Goldberg chants are slowly disappearing. The two things that make people stars is charisma/personality combined with a marketable look. Ryback has the latter, I just hope he has the former, but I've never heard him speak on the mic.

Nice post KL23, Ryback is okay on the mic, he's spoken a couple of times. Still needs work but he's good.

I'm not sure, If Goldberg is indeed in talks with WWE, or if he will ever come back for one match, I think it would be to put Ryback over.

@[Lacky] I noticed some wrongs in your list of wrestlers ages.

Zack Ryder is 27. Trent Baretta is 25. They have even more time ahead of them.

Goldberg putting people over :haha:

Future babyfaces, urm:

Rollins
Dolph
Ryback
CM Punk
Kingston
Riley
Rhodes

Few others. They're going to need to find a gem soon, because when Cena goes there is officially no top babyface anymore. None of those listed have the credentials to take Cena's place.

Have Dolph as an established heel for a couple of years and he could eventually turn and be an awesome babyface. He's already proved that he can get great face reactions from the crowd if not playing a heel character, so if they have him built up as a legitimate contender then turn him he can be as good as HBK. Seriously.

However, I'm not expecting that to happen at all. He'll probably hold the title for a month or two before they panic and stick it on Orton or something.

Exactly, man. If Cena's injury is as bad as he's saying on Twitter, there's nobody on the roster even close to being as much of a draw as Cena is. They need to find someone and soon, but there just isn't much main-event potential that I see.

Guess a lot of it is booking, but I don't see Kofi as a main-eventer, sadly. Ryback will eventually be there, Riley has the obvious potential... otherwise they'll have to wait until Rollins is ready. Those are really the only options.
