Oh, and Vince apparently told the investors in their conference call last week that Punk is "just taking a sabbatical."

Steve Austin deal....Can't sell Stone Cold shit, but can sell Steve Austin shit.
And LOL terminal leave, they ain't union protected. Also, WWE royalties are date oriented, you miss a cut off, you are not on a game, or collect anything. Steve Austin dind't make shit when he left, Brock Lesnar didn't make shit when he left.
Alundra Blayze did and still does.

So yeah... you might want to get the details of their individual contracts straight before you make statements like that. Most wrestlers of the modern era still make considerable money off royalties.

Right, and she's under that deal so WWE can still make money off her without worrying about getting sued. Do you think WWE just up and decided to pay her even though they didn't have to? Out of the goodness of their hearts? Seriously?

$305,563.46 according to her paycheck. And I seriously doubt anyone bought those DVD's to see her.

Performers contract are not the same as legends deals. And if Jim Ross says Punk isn't going to collect royalties. I'll take his word over some guy trying to take the shit out me.

Austin and Warrior both got nothing on active deals. Brock and Kurt got nothing for early release. Legends get paid for use of likeness in dvd, toys, and games.

Show me your proof, Mr. Know-It-All. You know nothing. There's no reason why WWE would give someone like Alundra Blayze money if they didn't have to.

One is a legend. One isn't a legend dummy. Austin himself said on Halls show and his own podcast the bulls kept coming but no checks came. Warrior is documented as getting nothing and using, and the courts upholding him getting nothing. What's hard to comprehend "Legends contract"

So in other words... you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about and you're pulling self-fabricated horseshit out of your ass. Guess it shouldn't come as a surprise to me considering you're notorious for that sort of thing around here, but Alundra Blayze isn't a legend of anything. And if you seriously believe that, you should probably hang your head in shame under a cold shower for about 6 hours, then get it examined by a professional neurologist.

Taking the word of TEH ULTIMATE WARRIOR... this guy...

... is even more pathetic than taking virtually any other professional athlete's one-sided perspective about anything.

If a company is making money off your work, you are legally entitled to royalties from any profit they make. Period. Maybe Warrior was too stupid realize this (just going out on a limb here, but that's a distinct possibility). Unless the contract they signed specifically states a forfeiture of said royalties, they are entitled.

Learn the law, fuckface.
