For the record, I can't stand this suck ass feud with Jericho. I mean, Jericho and HBK are my two favorite superstars, but this feud makes me want to throw up.
I couldn't dissagree more.
Fans are always complaining about there being too many half-assed storylines etc, and no long fueds anymore and to me this fued is the perfect answer to said criticism.
With HBK/Y2J(+Batista) we have a superbly written storyline with great depth which dates back to WM, there's been twists and turns throughout - feeding us the "someone's turning heel" factor when it could have been any of the 3, the fake injury, the Batista element, the eventual heel turn of Y2J, the HBK eye injury - each match has been sweet and I think the best is yet to come.
As a storyline it has more depth than your average wrestling storyline, but what's so confusing?
*HBK retires Flair.
*Batista & Y2J object for their own individual reasons, both citing HBKs ego
*HBK pulls a possum job on 'Tista.
*Y2J's frustrations build - No matter what HBK does he get's cheered, thus he's questioning the moral integrity of the fans.... Eventual heel turn and attack on HBK.
*HBK wants payback and is willing to risk his eye injury to get it........
...If you simply mean that it's hard to tell what's coming next, surely that's a good thing?
Hardly the most constructive of criticism...
makes HBK look very, very, weak.
How?
He's already been seen out-smart Batista, put in a gutsy showing @ ONS and is yet to lose a match to Y2J.
It has Lance Cade in it for some reason
Cade's involvement has been explained though.
and HBK has showed his age greatly in this feud.
Again, how so? Unless you mean in terms of athleticism, what bearing does age have on any of this?
I am sick and tired of it.
I'm lovin' it! ;o]
p.s. A little side note to those bitching about HBK not putting peeps over... Think we'll have seen him 'build' a certain Mr Cade by the end of this saga too.
