It was pretty awful really...

Like it made me want to spit.

Training Day (2001)
220px-Training_Day_Poster.jpg

I've been watching some Training Day today. One of my all time favorites. I love this movie.

But there is always a part of me pissed that Alonzo dies. I hate to see such a amazing badass character go to waste. He maybe be a "Villain" but to me he was too damn epic to let go.

To me he was an Anti-Hero because he was serving Street Justice for the most part. Yeah man there's a large part of me that hates that he died, and wonder's what it would have been like if he'd escape.

But besides that I love this movie! And it is one of my all time favorites.

Reign of Fire (2002)

(Inspired by Becky Lynch having the SDL women's title again)
I decided to watch one of my all time favorite "bad" movies.

Along with movies like The Relic (1997) & Lake Placid (1999)
Reign of Fire is one of those films that I know it kind of bad...
but I still love it any way.

With a strange cast (including Matthew McGogaughey &
Christian "The Dark Knight" Bale), a great score, a dour
tone & surprisingly solid dragon designs & effects...there
is just something about Reign of Fire that I enjoy.

Saturday Night Triple Feature:

Best Worst Movie (2009)

MPW-60407

Its pretty cool...but it features a few incredibly cringe worthy
moments of people honestly stating how good Troll 2 is.

Creepozoids (1987)

Yeah...I'm not getting that 68 minutes of my life back.
Linnea Quigley does have nice breasts though.

Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers (1988)

Yes...because of course I own a copy of this film...

DON'T JUDGE ME!!!

Oh...and Linnea Quigley & her lovely breasts are
also in this film. I swear we didn't plan that.

Ant-Man & the Wasp (2018)

th

Yeah...Marvel Studios hits another one clear out
of the park. I'm a huge fan of the first Ant-Man film
& this one is even better.

The scene where they are watching THEM! made
me cheer out loud...I love that film...& I really like
this film.

Ghost was great, the Quantum Realm visuals were
beautiful, the "Giant Man" stuff was awesome, the
ants were a great bodyguards/construction workers,
the car chase was electric & everything worked.

I give it 4 Ants out of 5...

Shin Gojira (2016)
I love it...one of the best Godzilla films
ever made.

Predator 2 (1990)
I've always liked this film...even before the
franchise was raped & left to die in a ditch.

Total Recall (1990)
Arnold's best film in my opinion.

A Quiet Place (2018)

A-Quiet-Place-Poster-01.jpg

Okay...so...I didn't really like this film...as much as I wanted to.

Its technically superb & the acting was great...but its just the same
"mechanic" played out over & over again.

DON'T.MAKE.ANY.SOUND.

Its also another one of these "Post-Apocalyptic" films where the
actual apocalypse would have been great to see...much like the
Dragon apocalypse we didn't get to see in Reign of Fire.

Like...we don't get any backstory on these aliens whatsoever &
as a die-hard science fiction fan...I love that stuff.

Like where did they come from? What are doing here? How did
a race of "Four Legged Ear Spiders" even get to our planet?
Are they aliens? Are they a race of creatures that simply woke
up one day & decided to kill everyone that makes sound?

Give me some details please...I find that kind of stuff really interesting
& creative.

Also...the Alien/creature design was okay I guess...I understand
the aliens were designed to be just giant ears with knife hands...
but they were a little boring.

Overall...I really wanted to like this film...but...I didn't.

Its not bad...it just wasn't for me.

I...don't know how I'm suppose to feel...
someone tell me how I should feel.

It's a great movie.. strange but great. Great performances all around, the directing by Stone was superb, cinematography was perfect. 1 of a kind film that stay with you for a while after viewing it.
