Clive Cussler - Night Probe!

I have never read a Clive Cussler novel but I got a few for free from a neighbour so I decided to finally start one since I have seen them in book shops for many years. This is one of the Dirk Pitt adventures which is Cussler main series. The basic story for this one is that US is on the brink of financial disaster and the President hears about the possible existence of a treaty which would have a dramatic impact of Canada and the US. The President decides to find this treaty and so he sends Dirk Pitt to organise two salvage operations to find the missing copies of the treaty. It was an okay read but nothing spectacular and I am happy that I didn't actually pay for it. I have a couple of other books by Cussler to read and I will probably end up reading them if I run out of other books to read.

Matthew Reilly - Temple

Yes I read yet another Matthew Reilly book. This one isn't part of a series and is a stand alone novel. It is about a University Professor who gets dragged into a treasure hunt to find a special idol that was made thousands of years ago from the remnants of a meteorite that hit the earth. It is a battle between a few different teams and governments to find this idol and bring it back and as always there are plenty of battles and betrayals. Really fun read.

The 20th Discworld novel, and as hilarious as the others. Full of puns and good parodies, and Death has taken over Santa Claus' job? Well, it's a shitty job, but someone has to do it right?

IT by Stephen King, I have always found that King's books are fascinating... only books that I can sit and read for a couple hours at one time.

I hope the rest of the series is better. I didn't enjoy this as much as the show.

What are those like? I've seen all the TV seasons and love the show.

I don't really wanna read the books as I heard some of them contain spoilers with the seasons but a lot of it changes on TV still.
