I am leaning more towards kicking myself in the ass come Monday hahaha I decided to do an art project this weekend for work. I am on the health and safety team as well as the voice survey group. This project is for the voice survey group. Once a year, we do an employee satisfaction survey and when the results come back, we put together a team to tackle the negative responses and try to find solutions to them. I find the board at work to read about updates from various groups is fucking boring as shit, no one even looks at it because it's just printed out paper with text on it, so, I since I love to draw, I thought I would do a project that would catch people's eyes and make them want to read about it and see what's going on so I got a neon green board so it stands out, and I am in the middle of drawing chibi versions of each member. I want to cut out each member, glue them to the board, and do the slogan for our team. I am leaving space for the updates from our group so they can be posted on it. Our lunchroom (where everything gets posted) is so fucking bland and stupid, it would be a colorful, fun touch to it, people will love it. My gear grinding comes in as our big boss is all about 'being professional', so, I am not sure he will approve of a bunch of cartoons on the wall, but, we will see. I am hoping he isn't that anal and only cares about professionalism on the floor (as in how you conduct yourself), not so much about cartoons in a lunchroom. I ran it by a friend of mine who is also in the group and he loves it and says he will go to the boss himself and demand it be put up because we need some positive stuff like this, haha, so, at least I have his support.
