Nope. Only tna anything I saw was when they announced kurt angle was coming there lol... I think I tried to watch an episode way back then too, but couldn't get into the 6 sided ring thing

I saw the odd wcw when I was a kid. Back when I couldn't really tell the whole difference between the two. I saw goldberg's streak the odd time, the nwo, etc.

Just tna I had a hard time getting into.

I've only been a fan since I was a younger kid in 2010, when I was about 7 or 8, but I miss the excitement, I didn't realise how shit a lot of things in the WWE were, I just enjoyed them for what they were, even after I found out wrestling was fake, I still got really excited for everything whereas now it's harder to get excited for events and I look at things a lot more critically.

I started watching wresting around 13/14-ish, with my family. I later discovered WWE out of nowhere, and discovered Austin. I became a fan instantly after that.

But what I really miss about it all is the mystery of WCW/WWE Monday Night Wars, the promos, and whatnot. I had some internet at the time, but dirtsheets, rumors and all that jazz were not plenty as it is now. Matches are leaked weeks ahead of time, rumors swirl, and spoilers are amiss all the time today. I tend to stay away from twitter/facebook feeds that talk about new debuts or returns. I just want to be surprised. I want the excitement back.

We won't get that, because WWE is, well, a PG company now. They're open to new and edgier storylines, but that's about it. No flip birds allowed, no beer allowed, no WWE vs TNA wars, no this and that. Fuck man.

WWF's weekend shows, Superstars and Wrestling Challenge. It'd have WWF stars squashing jobbers but it would feature a main event match. On Saturday, WWF Superstars would feature matches like Ultimate Warrior squaring off against "The Model" Rick Martel. When Ric Flair appeared in the WWF in 1991, The Nature Boy's first major challenge was Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart. Neidhart really sold his leg injury to Flair's figure-four leglock very well. As he was taken on a stretcher, The Beverly Brothers were entering the ring for their match. Beau and Blake mercilessly stomped and kicked a helpless Neidhart!

Jim recruited Owen Hart to form The New Foundation and, thus, began a feud with The Beverly Brothers. Those shows were a starting point for heated rivalries.

WWE really under utilizes their C shows. They could use it to give a lot of their lower midcard troop something to do, and have rivalries and angles going. It gives them a chance to do something.

Growing up, I rarely had internet and even then I would mostly use the internet to browse flash games or WWE.com, and my only real outlet for mainstream info and interconnectivity with the rest of the world was through WWE. I learned a lot through WWE whether it was words, genres of music, and a bunch of other stuff related and not related to wrestling. I think that's one thing I miss, it's not like it's impossible for kids to be in a similar situation, but I just miss absorbing so much info. I guess in a way, I feel like I know too much. When I started reading dirt sheets at like 11-12 years old, reading SmackDown results, reading of the big new debuts and surprises it was really cool but now it's just that I know too much.

As for something that I miss that isn't around anymore, it's the varied presentation. I was a mark for the production-side of wrestling, the colors of the ropes, mat, the type of mat, the sound of the mat, the set, the lighting, the stage, the ramp. I just loved that shit as a kid and I would look up pics of PPVs within hours of it concluding just to see the set, what color the ropes were etc. etc. WWE was the only promotion that did that production-wise and now they don't do that so it's like damn, I miss that shit.

Whilst I'm at, I miss when WWE would run highlights of the previous nights PPV in the adverts for the encore of the PPV. It would show slow-mos and still images of all the matches with the theme song, and I remember that was my only way of actually catching up with results for years other than 2nd hand from someone at school or listening to the commentary.

I miss the video montages. Like the videos they’d make for the matches or feuds like before wrestlemania. I know they still make videos, but it’s not the same if you ask me. For example, look at the video they did for the Bray and Cena feud at wrestlemania 30. I thought it was brilliant and amazing. I loved every second of it. They don’t do things like that anymore I feel.
