Reading Four Past Midnight by Stephen King. Got a copy of the book awhile ago that for some reason only had the last two stories, The Library Policeman and The Sun Dog, so I got an ebook of the rest. Finished The Langoliers a few days ago, fantastic story, and reading Secret Window, Secret Garden now.

Langoliers and The Sun Dog are awesome, Secret Window, Secret Garden is great and The Library Policeman is....disturbing. I haven't read it in years but I remember being very unsettled at some of the more graphic depictions of certain things that I won't mention.

Reading this week's issue of The Economist.

Lol, I assume you mean what happened in the bushes outside the library when he was a kid? Yeah, pretty screwed up. :p

I wish I hadn't watched the Secret Window movie, with Johnny Depp, before reading the story though because I already know exactly how it ends and it's taking a lot of the fun out of what's happening in the story.

Finished Secret Window, Secret Garden and am now reading Chris Jericho's second book Undisputed: How to Become the World Champion in 1,372 Easy Steps. Loved his first one and this one already seems like it's going to be even better. Just started it tonight and already almost 100 pages in. This man really is the best in the world at what he does... and that includes putting his life down on paper.

I am currently reading, "How to win friends and Influence People" By Dale Carnagie. It has been a very interesting read and I highly recommend it to everyone to read.

Been on a binge of books about running recently to help me train.

Started with "Born To Run", by Christopher McDougall which is phenomenal and a must read to anyone, whether you run or not.

Next is "Run!" by ultrarunner Dean Karnazes, which is pretty decent too. He's not as revered by the running community as some of the other runners mentioned in these books so it's nice to get a look at the sport from his viewpoint.

Then "Eat & Run" by another ultrarunner, Scott Jurek, which is a worthy companion book to anyone who reads the first book I've listed.

4th was "Keep on Running" by Phil Hewitt which is sadly the worst book so far. Does very little to actually inspire, just goes on about his personal experiences and the different marathons he's run.

And right now I'm on "Running with the Kenyans" by Adharanand Finn, which is similar to "Born to Run" but is not at the same standard of inspirational writing.

Like Swinny awhile ago I read Chris Jericho's first book and I'm now finishing up his second. Great stuff, even if there is a lot more Fozzy in this book... after this I'm going to finally get to The Long Halloween graphic novel, just in time for the season!
