The Hammer just gave his thoughts on women's wrestling. Needless to say he isn't a fan.

During a a recent appearance on Filsinger Games’ The View podcast, Greg “The Hammerâ€￾ Valentine went on a controversial rant about female wrestlers.

“As far as girl wrestling, I would send them all out to the strip bar and fire ’em,â€￾ Valentine said.
“I’d fire every girl wrestler I ever saw. They don’t draw any money, they have horrible matches. Uh . . . they’re terrible. That’s the way I feel.â€￾

“They take away jobs from men that need to support their families. They should be home washing dishes and cooking and pregnant and barefoot.â€￾

“I love women . . . but they gotta realize their place. They’re not supposed to be wrestlers. They’re not supposed to be MMA fighters or boxers. It’s bullshit.â€￾

Man, what a douchebag.

Sounds like he was at least half-joking tbh. Nobody uses barefoot and pregnant in a serious context these days. :

By the way, it's shoddy journalism to leave out the quote from the host afterwards where they joked that it was the perfect heel promo. Shame on you.

I guess we'll never know for sure, but it's pretty telling that no major media outlets picked up on this and that WWE hasn't issued a statement condemning him for this behaviour. It would be great if thy brought him in to be a guest ref for a Banks/Charlotte match and the two just beat the holy hell out of him! :
