A REVENGE MAFIA GAME

Emily Thorne is the newest arrival in the Hamptons. By all appearances, she's a friendly and sophisticated "girl next door," but with a dark family history, Emily is anything but what she seems. Seventeen years ago, her father was framed for a crime by neighbors he trusted, and sentenced to life. Emily never saw her father again, and spent her childhood consumed by rage, loss and betrayal. Now she's returning under an assumed identity with one goal - REVENGE -- every social overture a carefully planned chip at the foundation of her sworn enemies. Victoria Grayson is the glamorous matriarch of the Grayson family and reigning Queen of the Hamptons who holds a dark secret -- her culpability in the events that destroyed Emily's life. Conrad Grayson is the head of the Grayson family, a man willing to do whatever it takes to slither out of scandalous situations. Daniel Grayson is the Graysons' son who finds himself unable to resist Emily. Charlotte Grayson, their daughter, fits right in with the "mean girls" of the Hamptons, but is also drawn to boys from the "wrong side of the tracks." Nolan Ross shares a link to Emily's past, her present and her secret. Jack Porter has spent his life helping his father manage the Stowaway Tavern, and when fate brings Emily into his life, he's unable to shake a deja vu-like connection to her. Declan Porter, Jack's kid brother, is intrigued by the wealthy world of these elite vacationers and finds a target in Charlotte Grayson. Emily's closest friend, Ashley Davenport, is the go-to event planner who hopes to gain entry into Victoria's good graces and solidify her status among the Hamptonites.

THE RULES

Night posting IS ALLOWED. Post at your own risk. You never know who's watching.
Caution is advised when role revealing. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.
You NOT reveal the name of your character or your flavor. Role and alignment is fair use.
Everything pertaining to this game should be contained to this thread.
DO NOT discuss anything about the game outside this thread, on social media or in PMs.
DO NOT monitor, quote and/or screenshot private messages for game use.
Always paraphrase your role PM and/or your results given in PM.
First day will be 48 hours and each subsequent day 24. Every night lasts approximately 12-18 hours.
If I feel you're being inactive I might send you a warning...
and if you don't post for a couple game days, I might be forced to rep you out. Please participate.

If you ever have any questions about the game or the rules, you can always send me a PM.
The host has final say on all matters concerning the game.
If you have a question about how a role resolves, please accept the answer given.
Don't try to break the game.
Try to keep the flaming to a minimum. Remember to have fun!
Do not interact with the game after death.

Always play to your own win condition(s):
As always town must eliminate all threats to town in order to win...
and will fail to do so when they can no longer achieve a lynch on their own.
Mafia need to gain control of the vote or stop town from being able to lynch on their own.
Independents - Mafia - Town win in that order if it becomes unclear who won.
Your detailed win conditions will be in your role conversations.
Town are the Heroes and Mafia are the Villains.
There will be a lot of role overlap.
Some of the time it will be town/town, scum/scum, or even town/scum so I wouldn't hunt on this alone.
I would seriously suggest not hunting on flavor, it can lead you astray.
There is always a strong possibility of players changing alignments.
Either given a choice, not given a choice or activated purely off how the game unfolds.
The game will be alerted publicly whenever a piece of the board switches sides.
Blocked shots are nonrefundable.

An admitted egotist, Mason is driven by a lust for fame, though a genuine sense of integrity occasionally shines through. Though he still has a lust for fame, he has apparently grown since the David Clarke incident and still, on some level, cares about telling the truth. It has been shown more than once that he does feel some remorse for framing David and towards Amanda for writing lies about her father.
