I honestly think if people went back and actually rewatch 95 WCW it’s pretty underrated honestly. All the WWF was dripping top to bottom with the cartoon characters while WCW‘s creative failures was really only in the Hulk Hogan dungeon of doom stuff, but there was a lot of good stuff going on in the midcard.

Proud to say he was one of my first favorites growing up. So much so, one of my cousin's friends one year got me a DDP action figure for my birthday.

Marc Mero is arguably the most important person in wrestling history lol. Him going to WWE and being the first person getting a guaranteed deal helped usher in guarantees for everyone else in WWE, and his going to WWE led to the cruisers being the opening match.

I’ve been cheating a little bit though because YouTube has been updating 98 nitro week by week and I’ve been watching a little bit of that having a fun time. Which I think is honestly the most underrated year of nitro people act like just because the WWF finally started winning some of the weeks that year that Nitro had already gone downhill, but I actually think 98 is better than 97.

Starrcade 1997 was the first domino. But they were still excellent programming. It didn't really get bad til 99.
