Why is she waiting til now? Ashley’s been dead awhile. If someone is my best friend and I have all this information I’m not waiting til I get on tv to share it years and years after the fact.
Do you realise how hard it is for someone to come through with information like that? Like... You know, trying to make an accusation like that against a Billionaire with the legal resources to put you through hell in the court room for decades? Also how often a woman or a friend comes forward with an accusation and people go "UHHG NO! YOU'RE LYING! IT'S CANCEL CULTURE! BLAH BLAH BLAH!" And then engage in Victim blaming.
Now with a court case filed where someone is essentially saying they have gone through something similar to what your friend did, THEN you might have the courage or the leverage to come out and say something and have support. And on TV, with eyes on you, might be where you can get the most eyes on the message and it can be the loudest.
