Yea, the timing is in cases like this is always suspicious as fuck.

Of course, people shouldn't automatically neglect the notions that were made, just because of the suspicious timing and this idea of "XY couldn't have possibly known/do that" though

Legally I can't imagine any issues at all. She's not even saying it happened, just that Ashley told her technically. You can only get people for slander or libel if they knowingly lie so they'd have to somehow prove Ashely did not tell her these things

It's no different than guys like Rene Dupree going on a podcast and saying heard Vince stopped pushing Jackie Gayda bc she turned down a pass from him. Could be completely made up, but to take any action you would have to prove Rene didn't hear it, not that it didn't happen.

Sometimes I think you just have to look at info given when the source is someone essentially random like this. But at think at worse, she just regurgitated the lawsuit and said Ashley told her these things. I don't even know if it's enough to have her as a witness even if all legit tbh

It's insanely hard to win against anyone for lying essentially yeah. You have to prove that they knew it was false info when they said it and they argue they thought it was true. It can get ridiculous in some very obvious cases where the liars can easily claim ignorance

It's insanely hard to win against anyone for lying essentially yeah. You have to prove that they knew it was false info when they said it and they argue they thought it was true. It can get ridiculous in some very obvious cases where the liars can easily claim ignorance

The most prominent recent example is that voting booth manufacturer vs. Fox News. They had to prove Fox News *knowingly* lied about their voting machines being rigged in favor of Biden.

They got extremely lucky that Fox were a bunch of dumbasses and left a paper trail a mile long.
