Matt Striker: Hello my students, it is your teacher, Matt Striker. And I am here with you tonight to commerate the one year anniversary of Ultimate Wrestling Federation. Over the past year, the UWF has evolved into one of the greatest wrestling companies that this industry has ever seen, but like all good things, it had its humble beginnings. And tonight, not only will we relive those beginnings, but we will relive some of UWF's greatest moments. So prepare yourself for a trip down memory lane because it's going to be a great review. Let's begin, shall we? Our first clip comes from the Rebellion Pay-Per-View. Heading into this Pay-Per-View, UWF Champion CM Punk and UWF World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes were at odds. Both men used their respective World Championship to claim that they were the best in the world. Only one man can weild that title, so a match was made between Punk and Rhodes and the two would unify their Championship, forming the UWF Undisputed Championship in the process. Let's take a look.
WHOOOOAA-OHHHHH!!

The crowd boos as Rhodes comes out on stage with his back turned to the audience, he slowly turns around before opening his jacket up to show the world title around his waist.
Cody begins to walk down the ramp his expression changing at certain times as he goes from smiles to looks of disgust, Rhodes runs up the steel steps up to the ring apron and wipes his feet before entering the ring. Rhodes takes of the belt and walks over to the ropes stepping up on the second and top rope as he holds up the UWF World Heavyweight Championship.
Rhodes steps down and as he does he looks down at a crew member and motions for the man to get up in the ring, the crew member does so and Rhodes tells him something before he takes off his jacket and hands it to him. The crew worker leaves as Rhodes hands his title to the referee in charge of the contest. His music is stopped, and Rhodes looks up the entrance ramp, the crowd booing him, and beginning chants for his opponent.
Cole: Cody Rhodes, our World Heavyweight Champpion looking focused as always!
Booker: This kid is ready Cole, look at him he has the "it" factor man.
LOOK IN MY EYYYES!!
WHAT DO YOU SEE?!?

The fans jump to their feet and begin to giving off a loud ovation for the UCW Champion as he comes from the curtain. Punk has his fist clinched as he looks down the ramp at his opponent Cody Rhodes, then a smirk comes over his face. Punk walks to the stage then drops to a knee and listen to his wrist before standing up and screaming "IT'S CLOBBERING TIIIME!!!". Punk clinches his fist and continues down the ramp.
Punk unbuckles his championship from his waist then holds it out as he reaches the bottom of the ramp. Punk holds the title up and gets a very mixed reaction from the crowd of UWF faithfuls. Punk then turns the corner with a smirk on his face and jogs up the steel steps before pulling himself onto the turnbuckle and holding his title up once again, yelling "WHATS MY NAME!?"
Punk hops down and takes his shirt off, throwing it into the crowd. The fans fight for control of his shirt as Punk hands his UCW Championship to the referee. Punk warms up his wrists as the music is stopped and Justin Roberts steps forward.
Cole: A thunderous reaction for the UCW Champion, CM Punk!
Booker: He claims to be the best in the world Cole, tonight that title is put to the test! Ha-ha I can't wait!
Justin Roberts: The following contest is scheduled for one fall....and it is for the Undisputed UWF Woooorllldd Champiiiooonnnshiiip!
&
Justin Roberts: Introducing first, from Marietta, Georgia, weighing in at 215 pounds, he is the UWF World Heavyweight Champion, Cooooddyyy Rhhoooooodeeeesss!
The fans boo loudly as Rhodes doesn't seem phased, he continues to stare down his opponent, not showing any signs of emotion.
Justin Roberts: And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 218 pounds, he is the UCW Champion, CCC...MMM...Punk!
The crowd cheers loudly as Punk holds his arms in an "X" to Cody Rhodes. Justin Roberts now exits the ring. The referee steps forward and holds both the UCW Championship, and the UWF World Heavyweight Championship in the air to a chorus of cheers from the crowd. The titles are handed off to Justin Roberts on the outside. The fans are still standing as the referee calls for the bell!
*Ding Ding*
The two foes stare at each other, and lock up. Each tries to overpower that other, but CM Punk gains the early advantage, locking Cody Rhodes in a side headlock. Rhodes tries to get Punk off of him, but Punk wrenches the headlock in tighter. Cody finally pushes Punk off into the ropes, but Punk springs back with a shoulderblock into Rhodes, dropping him to the mat. Punk then takes off for the far ropes, springing back into the middle of the ring, and Cody throws himself at Punks feet. Punk turns around with a spinkick, and Rhodes ducks. Cody sweeps the legs of Punk and goes for a pin cover, but before the referee can get down to the mat Punk had reversed it and pins Cody. Before the referee can kick to one, Rhodes kicks out and rolls backwards, as Punk gets to his feet. The fans applaud and begin a "CM Punk!" chant.
Cole: What a great start to this match, both men showing their quick speed.
Booker: This shows just how much scouting these two men did on each other. Punk and Rhodes know each others moves inside and out!
Punk and Rhodes stare each other down before they both walk towards each other. The two men begin to talk trash to one another before Rhodes reaches over and slaps Punk across the face!
Cole: Maybe that will teach that disrespectful Punk a lesson!
Punk holds his face as Rhodes smiles and holds his arms out to the side. Punk looks at Rhodes, and gets a pissed off look. Punk quickly elbows Rhodes in the stomach, causing him to double over in pain! Punk lifts Rhodes up onto his shoulders and stands in the middle of the ring. Punk then throws Rhodes up, and connects with the Go to Sleep!
Cole: Good lord! The GTS to Rhodes!
Booker: This could be over early Cole, what an upset!
Punk nails the move, causing the crowd to cheer as he rolls over Rhodes, making the quick cover!

Booker: Rhodes! He has that submission locked in Cole!
The fans rise to their feet as Rhodes has Punk's arm fully extended! Punk yells in pain as he looks around for an option. Punk sees the ring ropes behind him as he reaches for it with his free arm, just getting the fingertips on it! Punk takes a desperation dive, hurting his shoulder even more as he manages to grab the bottom ring rope! The referee steps in to break the hold, giving Rhodes a five count...

Instead of going for the cover, Punk quickly rolls out of the Rebellion ring! Punk walks over to the announce table and lifts up the plastic cover! Punk tosses it away before he rips both of the TV monitors off the table! Punk looks at the table as he yells at Cole and Booker to "Get Lost". Punk then turns around as he sees Rhodes crawling on his hands and knees in the ring. Punk hops up to the ring apron and grabs Cody by the head, but Rhodes quickly elbows Punk in the stomach! Punk is winded as he falls off the ring apron and stands hunched over outside the ring. Rhodes uses the ring ropes to pull himself up as he than uses the ropes to hoist himself into midair, looking for a Cross Body!
Cole: Cody Rhodes is flying high!
Booker: Oh no!
Rhodes lands on Punk, but Punk somehow catches Rhodes in his arms! Punk shows his impressive strength as has Rhodes in his arms, before he tosses Rhodes up and drops him head first onto the ring apron! Rhodes's head smacks the ring apron hard as he is dizzy. Punk than runs and clotheslines Rhodes on top of the announce table!
Booker: I don't like where this is going Cole! We should get out of here.
Cole: CM Punk has something evil planned here no doubt.
Punk makes sure Rhodes is positioned properly as he walks back to the ring. Punk walks up the steel steps as he looks at Rhodes laying sprawled on the announce table. Cole: CM Punk is hanging on for dear life!
Booker: If Rhodes connects with this than Punk is in serious trouble!
Rhodes leans back as his body weight is off the ring apron, but Punk still hangs on. Rhodes than leans back forward and hits Punk with another forearm smash to the back of the head! Punk is groggy as Rhodes once again locks his arms around the waist of Punk. DING DING DING!
Justin Roberts: Your winner of the match and the NEW UWF Undisputed Champiiiioonn....CCC...MMM...PUNK!
CM Punk begins to celebrate in the ring with both the titles, he climbs a turnbuckle and raises the UCW Championship and the World Heavyweight championship in the air once more for old times sake, yelling "I'M THE BEST IN THE WOOOOORLLLLLD!"
Striker: Now, that was an impressive feat by the first ever UWF Undisputed Champion. CM Punk's reign as Undisputed Champion seemed to be unstoppable as he defeated the likes of Cody Rhodes, The Miz and Randy Orton. The only thing that could stop CM Punk was a cruel twist of fate. The company soon went in a different direction, restarting everything. This meant all Championship titles were vacated until one fateful night in Madison Square Garden. On that night, three men, CM Punk, Randy Orton and Wade Barrett all laid claim to the Undisputed Championship. It was announced that all three men would compete in a Triple Threat Match for the vacant Championship. In a match that stole the show, history was made and the Barrage began.
Raw April 24th said:Justin Roberts: The following is a Triple Threat Match scheduled for one fall and it is for the UWF Undisputed Championship. Introducing first, from Manchester, England; Wade Barrett!
"I Don't Care What You Think of Me"
The crowd let out a sigh of disappointment, barring a selection of fans that have taking a liking to the former United States champion, as Wade Barrett walks out from the back and smirks at the UWF Universe at the top of the ramp, before forcing the jacket off his back and punching the air. Despite his high profile downfall that came to rise at Wrestlemania, his grin can't be removed as for the first time in two months, he walks down the ramp with nothing around his waist. He soon enters the ring and waits for his opponent.
Roberts: And his opponent, from St. Louis, Missouri; "The Viper"; Randy Orton!
"I Hear Voices In My Head..."
The crowd lets out a healthy chorus of boos, as the viper Randy Orton steps out on the stage into the spotlight. He pauses briefly at the top of the ramp, casually smirking before continuing down to the ring, avoiding every single fan reaching out. He climbs the steel steps, and walks the apron, ascending up on the turnbuckle. He points to himself, then back to the crowd letting them know that he is indeed better then them, before throwing up both arms. The crowd continues to boo as he enters the ring; He stares down Wade Barrett, circling him, as his music fades out. The crowd is buzzing, as the “You Suck Chants beginâ€.
Roberts: And lastly, from Chicago, Illonois; CM Punk!
Look In My Eyes! What Do You See?!
The crowd lets out a loud, LOUD mixed reaction as CM Punk slowly walks from the back. He smirks as he walks to the cameraman and says "Looks like I'm back!" into the camera.
He walks a few steps and kneels on his left knee and does the signature "IT'S CLOBBERING TIME" schtick, and that makes the crowd go crazy. He walks confidently to the ring and takes a microphone and starts rolling it in his hands. He then climbs the top turnbuckle and yells "WHAT'S MY NAME?", as the crowd goes even crazier and his music fades to silence. The crowd loudly expresses their emotions by chanting Punk's name, without Punk acknowledging it, because that's simply the way Punk behaves.
The referee hold up the Undisputed Championship titles as all three men stare directly at them. The bell rings, and both Barrett and Orton go right after Punk. Both men through fists right into the face of the “Second City Saintâ€, bringing him to the mat, where instead of fists they use their feet. Orton pulls Barrett out of the way, so that he can get more of Punk. Orton puts the boots to him repeatedly, until Barrett pulls Orton out of the way and starts stomping on Punk…
Cole: I never thought I would see Wade Barrett and Randy Orton working together
Lawler: It’s a shock to me too. I think they’re upset that Punk is getting a shot that he doesn’t really deserve.
Orton doesn’t take too kindly to Barrett pulling him out of the way, so he grabs the Brit by the shoulder and turns him around, dropping him where he stands. Barrett has a look of shock on his face and gets right back to his feet where he eats a European Uppercut from Orton. Orton stands tall momentarily until he turns around and sees CM Punk flying off the top rope and hitting him straight in the chest with a Missile Dropkick. Orton falls to the mat, and Punk goes for the first cover of the match…

Barrett pulls Punk of Orton
Cole: Lots of action at the beginning of this match.
Punk can’t believe it, so he gets right in Barrett’s face. That wasn’t the smart thing to do as Barrett takes a step back and feeds a huge boot right to the mush of CM Punk. Punk goes down just as Orton gets up, and out of nowhere Orton drops Barrett with a stiff clothesline. Barrett gets right back to his feet, only to eat another clothesline from Orton. Barrett gets up once more, charges at Orton, who catches him and swiftly turns his hips, bringing Barrett to the mat with a vicious Powerslam. Orton gets to his feet and looks around, the sea of people cheering thinking that we may possibly see a new Undisputed Champion soon. Orton spins and drops to his fists, stalking both of his fallen opponents, just waiting for one to get up.
Cole: Randy’s going to that place. He’s hearing the voices!
Lawler: He might make short work of both of these men!
Both Barrett and Punk get up at the same time, so Orton chooses to go after Punk. Orton grabs Punk by the head, and leaps high in the air, looking for an RKO, but Punk has it scouted and pushes Orton right towards Barrett, who is ready for Orton and lifts him up before spinning him around and bringing to the mat with a vicious “Winds of Change†Side Slam. Barrett hooks the leg and covers Orton…

2…
Punk kicks Barrett in the back of the head breaking the cover.
Barrett gets back to his feet where he goes right after Punk, who greets him with a swift roundhouse kick to the gut, which doubles Barrett over in pain. Punk then bounces off the ropes and hits Barrett with a leaping leg lariat, which sends him to the outside. Orton is still down, so Punk decides to continue on Barrett and as Wade is getting up on the outside, Punk runs and dives through the middle rope, looking for a suicide dive. Barrett was ready for this though, and simply sidesteps Punk, causing him to go face and neck first into the barricade.
Lawler: Oh man! Crash and Burn for CM Punk! We may need help out here.
Barrett laughs at Punk’s misfortune, before turning his attention back to Orton in the ring. Wade tries to climb in, but as he attempts to enter, Randy meets him with boot to the chest, which stuns Barrett, causing him to rest on the middle rope. Orton gets that look in his eye, and applies a front face lock on Barrett before bringing back in the ring with that sick Hangman’s DDT.
Cole: For the second time tonight!
Orton gets back up, and begins stalking Barrett. Orton waists on his hands and knees as Barrett slowly stirs. Barrett finally gets to his feet and when he does, Orton spins him and brings him to the mat with a vicious RKO!
Lawler: RKO!! RKO!! Orton’s the Champ!
Orton hits the RKO, and quickly slithers to the cover and his new Undisputed Championship…
1…
2…
Punk breaks up the count!
Cole: Where did he come from!?
Everyone seemed to have forgotten about Punk who was able to recover on the outside. He comes in the ring and costs Orton the Undisputed Championship. Orton’s not too happy about this, and gets right in Punk’s face. Punk isn’t a pushover though, and the two begin to slug it. A left from Orton, followed by a right from Punk, then another left from Orton, which stagers the former Undisputed Champion. Punk abandons the fists, and swings with a roundhouse at Orton. He misses wildly though as Orton is able to dunk under and grab Punk by the neck and bring him down with an Inverted Backbreaker.
Cole: What a move by Orton! I don’t know if he can be stopped tonight!
Orton takes Punk down, but is soon turned around by Barrett, who he quickly takes down with a standing dropkick. Randy Orton is on fire tonight, and he seems as if he can’t be stopped. Orton mounts Barrett and starts throwing lefts and rights into the man’s face, with Barrett barely being able to protect himself. The referee finally pulls Orton off of Barrett, and he’s just in time to see CM Punk springboard from the outside apron and take him down with a flying clothesline. Punk gets to his feet as the fans pop. Punk sees Barrett has made it to his feet in the corner, so Punk charges at him and hits him with a running high knee. The move snaps Barrett’s neck back, but Punk quickly grabs hold of his head and runs out of the corner, looking for a bulldog. Orton has gotten back to his feet, and in the same sequence that Punk take Barrett down with the bulldog, he also takes Orton down with another clothesline. Punk is the only man standing right now, and quickly covers Barrett…

Barrett kicks out!
Punk doesn’t worry. He gets right of Barrett and covers Orton…

2…
Orton kicks out!
Punk gets back to his feet, as the people chant his name. “CM Punk, CM Punk, CM Punk†fills up MSG, and Punk lets them all know that it’s nap time. Punk starts jumping up and down, waiting for either man to get up, and the first one up is Barrett. Punk grabs the dazed Barrett and places him on his shoulders before quickly bringing him onto his knee with the Go To Sleep!
Cole: GTS!! Punk’s going to do it!
Punk hits the Go To Sleep on Barrett, but before he can cover him Orton comes out of nowhere and spins Punk around, hitting him with an RKO. The crowd pops as Orton gets to his feet and covers Punk…
1…
Lawler: Another RKO!
2…
Cole: Welcome to the Age of Orton!
3…NO! Punk kicks out!
Orton can’t believe it! He gets to his feet, and looks down on CM Punk. A look of anger soon washes across Orton’s face, and he literally begins to seethe. He backs up into the corner, and waits for Punk to get to his feet.
Cole: No! Not the Punt!
Cole’s right. As Punk gets to his hands and knees, Orton charges right at him, looking for the Punt, but out of nowhere Wade Barrett intercepts him with yet another “Winds of Change†Side Slam. All the air is driven out of Orton’s lungs as Barrett hooks the leg…
1…
2…
Orton kicks out!
Barrett slaps the mat in frustration. He gets to his feet and mouths the words “You son of a Bitch†to Orton. Barrett’s down playing around. He raises his right arm in the sky, letting everyone know that the end is near. Barrett lifts Orton up off the ground and throws him on his shoulders….
Cole: Wasteland is on its way!
Barrett is ready to deliver Wasteland when out of nowhere; Punk pulls Orton off of Barrett’s shoulder and throws him to the ground. Punk then grabs Barrett and lifts him onto his shoulders…
Lawler: Another Go To Sleep?
Barrett throws several elbows to trying to get Punk to drop him, but he doesn’t and Punk is able to hit yet another Go To Sleep on Barrett; Wade crumples to the mat, and Punk dives to the cover…
1…
2…
3…No! Out of nowhere; Randy Orton comes in and delivers a sickening Punt to the skull of CM Punk, breaking the pinfall. Orton then jumps on the fallen Barrett and covers him…
1…
Cole: It’s over! Orton just Punted Punk into next week!
2…
3…No! Barrett gets his foot on the bottom rope!
Orton can’t believe it! He gets back up and begins stalking Wade Barrett once more. Another RKO seems to be on its face. Wade struggles to get up, but when he does, Orton does go for another RKO. Wade is able to counter though and send Orton over the top rope to the floor. We’re down to just CM Punk and Wade Barrett in the ring. Punk is starting to stir, and Barrett wastes no time. He quickly grabs Punk before lifting him onto his shoulders and bringing him to the mat with an Earth shattering Wasteland. Punk body implodes ad Barrett goes for the cover…
1…
Cole: Is it over?
2…
Lawler: Orton’s nowhere in sight!
3….
Roberts: Here is your winner and the NEW UWF Undisputed Champion; Wade Barrett!
Striker: Wade Barrett was the man without a shadow of a doubt. Like Punk, Barrett's run had potential. Barrett's reign was cut short due to a certain "Double A" Superstar cashing in his Money in The Bank Briefcase and perhaps giving the wrestling world the most shocking moment of 2012.
Raw May 8th Edition said:Lights Out!
The lights cut out as "Lights Out" by Hollywood Undead starts playing. They remain off for a minute, and when they cut back on, Austin Aries is waiting behind Chris Jericho with his Money in The Bank Briefcase in hand. Jericho doesn't realize it until its too late. Aries spins Jericho around and drops him with the Briefcase.
King: What the hell was that about?
Aries looks down on Jericho before slowly turning his attention back towards the ring, back towards Wade Barrett. Aries runs down and slides into the ring, before hitting Barrett in the face with the Briefcase...
Cole: You don't think he's....
Barrett is down and out, with Aries standing over him. Aries looks at the briefcase momentarily before handing it to the referee who officiated the Cesaro/Jericho match.
King: He's doing it! Austin Aries is cashing in!
The referee takes the case and goes over to Justin Roberts who makes the announcement.
Roberts: Ladies and Gentlmen, I have just been told that Austin Aries has decided to cash in his Money In The Bank Contract. So the following match is scheduled for one fall and is for The Undisputed Championship!
The bell rings and Aries picks the dead weight known as Wade Barrett off the mat and puts him in a vertical suplex position....
Cole: This can't be happening.
Aries holds Barrett for a few seconds before dropping him with the Brainbuster resulting in a huge pop. Aries floats over and covers Barrett...
1...
Cole: No Way!
2...
King: You've got to be kidding me!
3...
Roberts: Here is your winner, and the NEW UWF Undisputed Champion; Austin Aries!
Cole: Austin Aries is the Undisputed Champion?
Aries gets to his feet and the referee hands him the Undisputed Championship titles. He celebrates like no one else can. Austin Aries is the Undisputed Champion. The fans are cheering, it's an unbelievable moment. He holds the belt up high for the World to see
Striker: Austin Aries shocked the world no doubt, but like Barrett, Aries' reign as Champion would not last long. It would last only 12 days until the Backlash Pay-Per-View. Aries would lose the title to Stone Cold Steve Austin in a Fatal Four way match, but it is the aftermath of the match that has people still talking to this day. For weeks, Randy Orton spoke of something evil and vile coming to the UWF. Nobody could have predicted that Randy Orton would inject UWF with a poison known as the N.W.O
Striker: The N.W.O had arrived in UWF and was recking havoc wherever they went. But UWF wasn't the dark cloud that it may have seemed to be during this time. The company was only growing. Soon, the Smackdown! brand was introduced and its first order of business was to crown a World Heavyweight Champion. Former General Manager Desmond Wolfe selected Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose to be the two superstars to fight for the title. At Starrcade, these two men had what many consider to be the greatest match in UWF history where Dean Ambrose shocked the world and became UWF Champion for the very first time.
Striker: Dean Ambrose made for a great World Heavyweight Champion. Ambrose and Bryan will continue this great rivalry this Sunday at New Year's Revolution with Television Championship. Another rivalry that always seem to rear its ugly head is the one between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes. These two were at each other's throats for eleven months and it all culminated in a match at The Great American Bash for the United States Championship. Rhodes may have been the Champion, but he was at a dinstinct disadvantage as the event was held in CM Punk's hometown of Chicago. Let's take a look.
Striker: CM Punk proved that he is indeed "The Best in The World" on that night. Ending the long running feud with Cody Rhodes in the process. Speaking of long running feuds, what many consider the greatest feud Raw has ever seen is Christian versus Stone Cold Steve Austin. The feud started with Christian wanting Austin's UWF Championship. The two met in a match, Austin retained the Championship, but it was far from over. Christian would take a hiatus, only to return at the Clash of The Champions and cost Steve Austin the UWF Title. With the score between these two tied at one victory a piece, there needed to be a tiebreaker. And we had just that in Steve Austin's final UWF match at King of The Ring.
Striker: In a moment that we may never forget, Christian successfully got his vengeance and ended the career of Steve Austin. But the show must go on. And it did! Survivor Series came and we were treated with a World Championship Match, pitting the Rated R Superstar aganist the Charasmatic Engima and the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. When it was all said and done, the night belonged to the creatures.
Striker: Jeff Hardy achieved his dream at Survivor Series. But for some, that event wasn't about achieving a dream. It was about payback. The Rock returned to Raw a few months back and attacked his former friend and tag team partner Mankind, stating that Mankind was living off the popularity that The Rock established for him. This led to a match between the two and an ending nobody saw coming.
Striker: And here we are, just four days before the end of the year. 2012 sure has been a great year for UWF, but I know that 2013 will be even better. There can only be more memorbale moments from here on out. I'm Matt Striker, have a good night and we'll see you Sunday from Cleveland, Ohio!
Striker smiles as the feed cuts to black and the UWF yearly recap comes to an end.
OOC: So I thought to celebrate the 1 year annieversary, I'd find some of the most memorable moments of the year. I'm sure I missed a lot, but it was a lot of work finding all of these. Anyway, hope you enjoyed. #365
UWF Backlash May 20th said:
Roberts: Here is your winner and the new UWF Undisputed Champion; Stone Cold Steve Austin!
Austin’s music plays and the referee raises his hand. Stone Cold Steve Austin has a look of euphoria on his face, he finally is the man.
Cole: After all the years of battling, Steve Austin is finally World Champion! Austin 3:16 means I’m Undisputed Champion!
Austin celebrates as he is handed the Undisputed Champion titles. A single tear drops from Austin's eye. Nobody knows what this means to him. Steve Austin is Undisputed Champion! He climbs the top rope and shows off the titles, some people booing him, some respecting his accomplishment. Those boos get even louder when out of nowhere, the camera sees a man running through the audience. That man hops the barricade and slides under the ring.
Cole: What the hell is Randy Orton doing here?
Orton sneaks up behind Austin, who has now climbed down of the turnbuckle. Orton quickly spins and hits him with a vicious RKO!
King: What is this about?
Orton looks down on Austin and his titles before he catches some movement out of the corner of his eye. It's former Champion, Austin Aries! Aries is trying to get to his feet. Right now, he's on his hands and knees. Orton sees this and his eyes lighten up. He backs into a corner and runs at Aries....
King & Cole: Randy! NO!
It's too late. Orton almost takes Aries' head off with a vicious Punt. Aries goes right back down and isn't moving. Orton looks at the carnage and rolls under the bottom rope. He looks under the ring skirt and looks for something. Orton searches for a few moments until he finds it. He puts the ring skirt back down and enters the ring. It can't be seen at first, but what is in Orton's hand is eventually revealed. It's a can? Orton goes over to the prone body of Austin Aries and starts writing on Aries' back. Cole and Lawler eventually realize what's happening.
King: It can't be!
Cole: Was this what Orton's been talking about over the past few weeks.
Orton finishes and looks proud of himself. The last thing we see before Backlash goes off the air is the words painted on the back of Austin Aries...
UWF Starrcade June 17th said:
Lillian Garica: The following contest is a Two out of Three Falls Match and it is to determine the Next UWF World Heavyweight Championship. The objective is to beat your opponent twice in a series of three matches, the first will be a submission match followed by a hardcore match. Then if necessary the final fall will be a ladder match and the winner will be World Champion. Now, introducing first...

The crowd begins booing loudly as the former Hardcore Champion comes out to the ring stopping at the top of the apron and signalling for Gold around his waist. Bryan walks quickly down the ramp chanting YES YES YES! Much to the chagrin of the Sold Out Crowd. He doesn't get into the ring immediately and instead heads to the annoucer's side of the ring where the World Title is being displayed and Bryan stares at it with a big smile on his face. He nods as if agreeing in his head before turning and sliding into the ring before throwing his arm up in the air with a finger out telling the world he is number 1.
Lillian Garcia: From Aberdeen Washington, weighing in tonight at 210 lbs. Please welcome the former Hardcore Champion, Daniel Bryan!
Bryan begins screaming Yes Yes Yes! as the crowd begins chanting No No No!
JR: It looks like the crowd and Bryan are going to be disagreeing on how they feel this match up is going to end.
Piper: The only way this match ends JR is if one or both men can't walk out of the ring underneath both their power.
Lillian Garcia: And introducing his opponent...

The crowd get to their feet as a huge pop explodes in the arena as Ambrose makes his way out to the stage area. He does not have a smile on his face instead he ignores everything going on and just stares right at Daniel Bryan who continues to look smug in the ring. The sadistic Ambrose begins walking slowly but methodically to the ring ignoring the hands hoping to get a shake or a high five from him. Like Bryan he too heads over to the announcer's side and to the World Title, never taking his eyes off of Bryan. Ambrose stands between the World Title and Bryan as if symbolically saying Ambrose stands between him and the belt. Ambrose doesn't say anything and just continues to stare as he hops up to the apron.
Lillian Garcia: From Cinncinatti Ohio, weighing in tonight at 225 lbs, Dean Ambrose!
As his name is called Ambrose steps into the ring and without a smile or even nodding towards the crowd he prepares for the match of his life.
JR: And the look on Ambrose's face speaks about not only how personal this match is, but also how much is on the line.
Piper: I don't know, if Ambrose doesn't get whatever stick out of his ass Bryan could use that to his advantage.
DING DING DING!
The bell rings.
The bell rings and Bryan and Ambrose immediately get into each other’s faces the personal hatred for each other is clearly evident on the faces of both combatants. Ambrose tells Bryan he is welcome to the first shot and Bryan laughs mocking Ambrose saying one shot is all he needs. Ambrose doesn’t believe it and says give it all you got. Bryan shrugs before taking his hand and chopping the chest of Ambrose, the sickening sound of flesh hitting flesh blows throughout the arena. Ambrose just smiles as he shots he’s been smacked around harder by his grandmother. Again Bryan unleashes a knife edge chop that sends the crowd into a roar of WOO! Ambrose again continues to smile as Bryan unleashes a third knife edge chop that just manages to stagger Ambrose a bit. Ambrose his chest swelling up from the shots shouts, my turn as Bryan goes for a fourth chop. Ambrose gets real low and dodges the blow surprising Bryan before Daniel turns around only to be clearly staggered by a shot from Ambrose. Bryan screams in agony as he holds his chest in pain, before Ambrose again hits a knife edge chop, this one sends Bryan to the mat and the crowd lets off a big cheer as Ambrose wins the first salvo. Ambrose laughs as Bryan gets to his feet and Bryan has had it and tackles Ambrose to the ground before trying to bring down as many punches on top of Ambrose as he can, but Ambrose rolls Bryan onto his back and begins unloading, before they roll again this time Bryan nailing Ambrose with punches aimed at his opponent’s jaw and chin. The ref finally manages to the two separated and the crowd begins to boo not wanting the ref to break up the action.
Piper: Last time I checked JR, you couldn’t win a submission match like that. I mean it has been a while but I don’t think the rules have changed that much.
Ambrose and Bryan take to separate corners wiping the sweat off of their respective faces before stretching. Both men know this match is not going to be easy or quick and need to keep both composure and stamina to win it. After Ambrose slaps his chest in a sign of readiness, Dean and Daniel tie up in the center of the ring prepared to lock it up again. Bryan quickly throws Ambrose into a headlock, but Ambrose has been trained for this move since day one of his training and switches the hold so he has his arms wrapped around his waist from behind Bryan. Bryan looks to elbow Ambrose in the side of the head but Ambrose ducks it before wrapping his arms around Bryan’s waist now in position looking for a belly to belly suplex, but Ambrose knees Ambrose in the gut allowing Bryan to get his arms around Dean’s neck and bringing him down with a headlock takedown. Never one to not take advantage Bryan tries to keep him in a headlock on the ground but Ambrose kicks his body hard and gets out before both men get to their feet again before breaking as the crowd gives off applause to both athletes. Bryan clearly won that salvo but there is still plenty of time to go. Bryan now feels the advantage as he calls for Ambrose to come at him, Ambrose never one to back down from a challenge goes for a kick to the gut of Bryan but Bryan catches it, smiling at the failed effort of his opponent for the world title. Ambrose smiles back before delivering an enziguri that takes the baby oil on Bryan’s face and sends it flying into the third row of seats.
JR: And Bryan made his first real mistake here in the early going, and you’d think by the third match between the two you wouldn’t underestimate your opponent.
Piper: It happens, JR. Even I had an occasional mix up with a partner or against my opponent. The trick is how you respond to it.
Ambrose feels it now as he goes for the leg of Bryan possibly to lock in a submission maneuver to try and win the match right here, but Bryan kicks him off more out of instinct than anything. Ambrose gets up smiling glad to see his opponent is going to make it difficult; Ambrose after all loves it when it is difficult. The longest reigning Hardcore Champion in UWF History brings Bryan to his feet before shooting him off the ropes. Ambrose attempts to send Bryan to the mat with a hip toss, but Bryan blocks it before grabbing Ambrose and attempting to send him to the mat with a hip toss, but while Ambrose is in the air he makes a terrific counter and sends Bryan to the mat with an arm drag. Ambrose latches on to the arm and wrenches it bringing Bryan to his feet. Once on his feet Ambrose continues to add pressure twisting the arm of Bryan hoping to possibly remove the shoulder from its socket. Changing his mind Ambrose brings Bryan into a headlock, and yet somehow Bryan shoves Ambrose into the ropes, unfortunately Bryan’s luck runs out as Ambrose comes back knocking the former champion to the mat with a shoulder block. This gets the crowd rocking a little as Bryan gets back up to his feet and Ambrose grabs him before sending the damaged and twisted arm into the steel ring post to the big delight of the crowd. Bryan comes back out holding his arm in serious pain as Ambrose again grabs it and twists it before snap kicking Bryan hard in the chest. Another snap kick staggers Bryan who is essentially helpless as his arm is still being wrenched by Ambrose, until Ambrose let’s go and nails Bryan with a picture perfect spinning heel kick. Bryan goes down and Ambrose puts Bryan on his stomach before going and locking in the Crossface and the first submission maneuver of the match up has been put into play here in the first match.
JR: Crossface! Ambrose pulling out the Crossface which is highly unexpected and it’s a good one as Ambrose has that arm locked in between his legs.
Piper: These fans really want to see Daniel Bryan tap out here. I think they are crazy, they don’t know what they’d miss if Bryan threw in the towel here in the early going.
Bryan does not take Piper’s advice and instead of immediately tapping begins struggling to get to the bottom rope which is only several feet away. The crowd is loud trying to play tricks with Bryan’s mind as he fights hard to get to ropes, Ambrose increasing the pressure every opportunity he gets. The American Dragon will not quit as he inches closer and closer to the bottom rope, Ambrose tries adding leverage and pressure one more time but it is no good as Bryan reaches the bottom rope and holds onto it for dear life. The ref gets Ambrose off of Bryan as Daniel pulls himself out of the ring in desperation. Bryan holds his arm in pain before rubbing his neck in his very short reprieve from action as Ambrose sends Bryan into the barricade with a baseball slide. Bryan remains standing however and comes back to the center of the floor before Ambrose leaps over the ropes and comes crashing down on top of Bryan. Both men fall to the floor hurting after the daring move from Ambrose.
JR: This shows you the length both men are going to go to in able to walk out Worlds Heavyweight Champion here tonight.
Ambrose is up first much of the impact was taken by Bryan upon crashing on the floor and he gets up and yells a thundering bellow. Ambrose begins stalking Bryan as he gets to his feet; Ambrose tackles Bryan hard into the steel ring barricade focusing on the lower back of Bryan. Daniel is hurting now as Ambrose unleashes a brutal knife edge chop across Bryan’s chest once again. Ambrose picks up the beaten down Bryan and hits a snake eyes on the ring barricade; a big welt has formed on Bryan’s chest now as he reaches the floor. Ambrose loves the momentum he has as he brings Bryan to his feet and with ease sends Bryan crashing to the mat with a snap suplex. Ambrose sits up and begins clapping as he gets a sadistic look in his eyes before looking at the ground around him. The crowd isn’t sure what to expect from Ambrose as you know he is capable of doing some pretty insane things. What Ambrose does is truly insane as he undoes the padding at ring side forcing the crowd into a shocked frenzy. The cold steel surface of the First Mariner Arena exposed. Ambrose throws an arm up to the sky as if asking the wrestling gods for their favor before turning his attention back towards Bryan.
JR: The padding has been removed Piper, Ambrose is going for the kill here tonight and this match is only a few minutes old.
Piper: He manages to bring Bryan down on that surface he will definitely be taking this match 2-0 because many men have been severely injured dealing with the steel under the padding.
Ambrose is indeed going for maximum damage as he brings Bryan over to the steel floor and places him between his legs, Ambrose is looking to PILEDRIVE his opponent onto the steel floor. The ground gets quiet as Ambrose attempts to bring Bryan up and into him, but Bryan sensing his career, no his life is on the line manages to force his weight to send him back to the floor. Ambrose positions himself again to lift Bryan but the positioning allows Bryan to gain an opportunity and with everything on the line he uses it sending Ambrose up and over him crashing to the padding side. Bryan has managed to escape a terrifying fate and now angered by the lack of regard Ambrose has for him gives Ambrose a swift kick in the spine as Ambrose is sitting up holding his back in pain. Bryan extremely angry now begins kicking Ambrose in the stomach until Ambrose moves onto his back, only for Bryan to begin kicking the crap out of his opponent’s kidneys. “Try pissing now you psycho son of a bitch.†Bryan yells again kicking the kidney’s and back of Ambrose. Pleased with his assault and hoping to once and for all embarrass Ambrose he helps his opponent to his feet and tosses him into the ring.
JR: I think Daniel Bryan has finally snapped Hot Rod, just unloading those vicious kicks to the kidney and back area of Ambrose. I think he might be trying to cripple him.
Piper: Ambrose was trying to paralyze Bryan at best just a few minutes JR. If somebody tried to do that to me I’d pound there ass so far into the ground we’d be at the core of the earth and I still wouldn’t be done.
Bryan is clearly no longer satisfied with just making Ambrose tap out, he wants to take a piece of Ambrose’s soul. Ambrose gets to his feet and Bryan drops him to the mat with a brutal roundhouse kick that sends Ambrose to the mat. With Ambrose face first on the mat Bryan digs into his arsenal and surprises everyone when he places both his feet right below Ambrose’s knees and lifts him up into a surfboard submission hold. The crowd is impressed as he holds Ambrose above him not having to worry about getting pinned to the mat. Ambrose screams in agony as Bryan pulls on Ambrose’s wrists for ultimate pressure.
Piper: Everybody loves Surfing JR, especially Daniel Bryan. If he wins with this move I would not be surprised if he has a beach boys gimmick come Friday Night.
JR: I’m impressed Hot Rod, by both these men, they are truly showing here tonight what it means to be a champion.
The crowd is trying to help Ambrose but he is essentially trapped as he can’t pin Bryan and at the same time his ligaments are all trapped in the hold so the ropes are not an option. Bryan has a huge smile on his face but Ambrose is repeatedly asked by the official if he gives to which Ambrose says NO! “Come on Dean don’t get yourself killed here, do you give up?†The official asks to which Ambrose responds “Go to Hell!†This causes Bryan to begin to hesitate just a bit and Ambrose uses it as an opportunity to bring himself down towards Bryan, if pinfalls counted Bryan would be getting counted to the mat now, Ambrose is trained to use every body part as a weapon and it is at this time he decides to use his hardest one, his head. He sends the back of his head smacking into Bryan’s face not once but twice, the second time popping Bryan in the nose. The impact causes Bryan to lose his ability to hold on to Ambrose who is able to escape to the ground, but he doesn’t get up as the hold has taken a lot out of him. Bryan grabs his nose in pain no one is able to see the damage until Bryan begins using the ropes to get to his feet. Bryan’s nose is not broken but it is indeed bleeding as he reaches his feet. Looking at the blood pouring into his hands Bryan curses as some fans jeer him for it. Ambrose has managed to use the ropes now to get to his feet and Bryan goes after him as if he were easy prey, Ambrose has proven time and again he is not, as he uses Bryan’s momentum against him to lock Bryan into a Fujiwara Armbar. The crowd erupts into cheers as Bryan’s arm is now being ripped from his socket and the tables have quickly turned.
JR: And this is what happens when you have two great artists of the business in a submission match, at any point in time the momentum, the outcome of the match can change in a heartbeat.
Piper: God damn JR, this match is intense and it is only the first fall.
Bryan finds himself in trouble much like he was in the early going. The camera zooms in on his face, blood drips from his nose as he is clearly in some form of pain. Bryan is digging deep as he now is forced to try and get to the ropes. Ambrose has a sick smirk on his face feeling Bryan has a low threshold for pain, but Bryan is surprising everyone by soldiering on. Inch after painful inch of his arm potentially being pulled from its socket, Bryan reaches the ropes some of the crowd cheering but most jeering the fact Ambrose did not win it there. Ambrose is a little surprised as well but it is ok in his book as it just means more pain he can unleash. Ambrose begins stalking Bryan as he makes his way to his feet holding his arm in agony. He turns around and Ambrose sets him up in the suplex position before lifting him up, just as suddenly as he does he brings him down into a powerbomb set up, but Bryan somehow manages to bring Ambrose to the mat grabbing his head and looking for his arm Bryan is going for the triangle choke.
JR: Wow what a counter by Daniel Bryan. If he can get that arm of Ambrose this one could be over and we could Daniel Bryan going up one fall to nothing.
Piper: The first fall is important JR, but it is not the end of the world, one of these men is going to have to decide if they would rather end up in a wheelchair before they can even get to the second match.
Ambrose has the ring sense to take his arm out of Bryan’s reach and grab the ropes forcing Bryan to let go of Ambrose. Surprisingly Bryan does as the official asks, getting everyone to look at his arms by saying ok so that he can wrap his legs around Ambrose’s ankles and drive him down to the mat, Ambrose falls face first into the mat and Bryan finds a burst of energy that allows him to get on top of Ambrose and lock in his finisher the former LeBell, now known as the Yes lock!
JR: This is what Bryan has been hoping to do since the start of the match. The Yes Lock has put many people away in my time and regardless of the goofy name as you can see from the look on Ambrose’s face the maneuver is deadly.
Piper: Yes lock? The people who create the names of these moves should be shot.
Ambrose would be begging for mercy if he didn’t want to appear to be a total badass to the fans as he is in some serious pain. The toll of the past few minutes of move after move, counter after counter, are finally taking his toll. Bryan is screaming, Yes! Yes! Yes! But Ambrose is not going to give up and give Bryan the satisfaction, Ambrose much like he proved at Backlash would rather die than tap out to this maniac. He thinks of what it would feel like to be World Champion something he only dreamed of when he came to UWF, and it spurs him on as he inches closer, every second he feels a little bit stronger. Bryan’s yes’ quickly stop the closer to the ropes Ambrose gets before shouting No! No! No! Ambrose continues to think of the gold plated championship and its history, the idea of his name being in the book with some of the greats and he manages to reach the ropes. The crowd explode into cheers and Bryan cannot believe it. Bryan holds onto the hold even longer forcing the referee to start counting him as the crowd begins to boo. 1… 2… 3… 4… Realizing Bryan has no intention of letting go the referee steps in and Ambrose feels the pain lessen as Bryan lets go. Bryan explodes into the ref’s face telling him he had until 5 and needs to just end the match before Ambrose gets seriously hurt. He tells the official Ambrose’s is too dumb to tap so do the right thing for him. The argument continues for a few seconds the referee not willing to do that to the fighting Ambrose. Bryan shoves the official hard and this gets jeers and an ooh from the crowd. The official never one to be happy with getting shoved, puts his hands on Bryan and shoves him hard. The crowd goes nuts at this and before Bryan can respond Ambrose spins him around, the thought of the World Title in his mind, victory or death, drags Bryan to the mat and puts him in the Regal Stretch!
JR: The tables have been turned again. You have to imagine this is the move Ambrose has been looking for this entire time and now he has locked in right in the center of the ring.
Piper: What a pansy taking a temper tantrum on the official. Grow a pair you bitch!
Bryan now is in serious pain again, like Ambrose the match has taken its toll on him. He thinks of the World Championship, he thinks of himself standing tall at the end of the night screaming Yes Yes Yes! He thinks of the history and the fact he would go down as a legend not to mention the best in the history of UWF. He thinks of Ambrose and how crazy he is, how Ambrose will not tap out and will die before submitting. Bryan realizes Ambrose will kill him if given the opportunity. Realizing it is indeed only the first fall, and not willing to die, Bryan resigns himself at last and begins to tap out in the center of the ring. The crowd goes crazy as the first fall has been at last decided and the official immediately reaches in to get Ambrose off of Bryan.
JR: And finally one of these men has come to their senses and unfortunately for Daniel Bryan it means he is now down 1-0.
Piper: I give the guy credit. He still has two falls to go, at least now he’ll be able to compete in the second match instead of dead which if it were up to Ambrose would be how that first match ended.
Winner of the first fall: Dean Ambrose!
Ambrose has his hand raised and as the rules state a thirty second break will occur before the next match starts which gives Bryan a few seconds to recover from the pain and humiliation he has just suffered by tapping out in the first match.
DING DING DING
JR: And that signal means the second match is about to begin and this one should be very different from the first as it is going to be a Hardcore style match.
Piper: This all started over the Hardcore Championship JR, it is only fitting one of these falls is Hardcore style even if the title no longer exists.
Bryan now is feeling the pressure as he is down and must win the next two falls to become World Champion, of course Bryan knows he can do it as he stretches his arm and prepares to go to work for another match. Ambrose calls for a tie up which surprises everyone and Bryan agrees feeling this will get him back into the match. The two lock up and Bryan grabs Ambrose’s arm twisting it before bringing it behind Ambrose’s back and wrenching it. Ambrose tries elbowing Bryan with his free arm but Bryan has placed himself just out of reach. Without many other options Ambrose twists his body bringing his arm out of the wrench before countering and grabbing Bryan from behind in a belly to back position. Not wanting to face anymore of Ambrose’ suplexes Bryan rushes over to the ropes and grabs them using them to shove his entire frame into Ambrose who falls back to the mat unable to hold his grip. Ambrose gets to his feet and Bryan nails him with a European Uppercut for his troubles. Ambrose takes refuge in the corner of the ring and Bryan grabs him in a belly to back format only to get an elbow from Ambrose. Bryan is staggered into the center of the ring where Ambrose fights off the pain he is feeling and brings Bryan to the mat with a roll up!

3… NO!
JR: At the last possible second Daniel Bryan kicks out, I thought for sure we were looking at a New Worlds Champion right there.
Piper: I think the mental image of tapping out is stuck in poor Bryan’s head. He needs to get his head back on or this one might as well be over.
Bryan gets to his feet in a hurry breathing heavy now knowing how close his dreams where nearly shattered. As Piper stated Bryan is indeed not all there right now which allows Ambrose to nail Bryan with a big clothesline. Bryan realizing how badly he could be hurt if he doesn’t snap out of it quickly rolls outside of the ring to heat. Bryan has to collect himself as Ambrose looks upset that Bryan is chickening out. Bryan begins heading up the ramp and gets to the halfway point before turning his attention back to the ring. He nails himself in the head clearing the cobwebs before returning to some semblance of normalcy. As he rushes towards the ring Ambrose bounces off the ropes and attempts a suicide dive, but Bryan sees it coming and moves out of the way. Ambrose hits the padded ground hard and the crowd oohs as Ambrose may have just taken himself out of the match up. Bryan goes for the quick cover, the Hardcore Rules making pinfalls outside the ring legal.

3.. NO!
Ambrose gets a shoulder up, the suicide dive clearly hasn’t taken him out of it completely. Bryan slams his fists into the padding before realizing it is indeed a Hardcore match. Bryan gets a big smile on his face as he begins digging underneath the ring looking for any kind of weapon to both inflict harm and potentially end the career of Ambrose. The crowd doesn’t like what he pulls out, a sledgehammer. Bryan gets a sick sort of smile on his face as Ambrose manages to get to his knees, but Bryan is ending it here and now as he drives the sledgehammer into the back of Ambrose who screams in agony as he hits the floor. Bryan with sledgehammer in hand begins screaming like a mad man Yes! Yes! Yes!
JR: I don’t know about you Piper, but you have to wonder what a feud like this does to someone’s psyche. Every week since these two started fighting I can’t help but feel Daniel Bryan has been losing it more and more.
Piper: Well to be able to judge someone’s sanity they have to have it JR. After watching this match, neither one of this fricken lunatics have an ounce of it.
Bryan smiles as Ambrose is not moving on the floor, “I want to do this in the ring so everyone can see.†Bryan appears to be talking to himself, perhaps he truly has lost his sanity as he tosses the hammer aside and picks up Bryan and tossing him into the ring. Bryan doesn’t follow up, after all Ambrose isn’t moving, instead Bryan goes underneath the ring and begins pulling out a kendo stick, a garbage can, and finally a lead pipe. He throws all of these things into the ring before hopping back into it himself. Ambrose is finally moving but is having trouble standing. Bryan smiles as he picks up the kendo stick and as Ambrose is struggling to get to his feet Bryan unleashes it upon his opponents back. THACK! THACK! THACK! Three brutal shots before the kendo stick breaks, and Bryan isn’t done. He tosses the pieces of the kendo stick to the side as he begins looking at the lead pipe. Bryan begins laughing, as he eyes the pipe then Ambrose, pipe, Ambrose. The crowd begins booing wanting Bryan to just end the match already, but Bryan wants to humiliate and potentially cripple Ambrose. Ambrose begins using the ropes trying to get to his feet which feel like jelly now. He hears the crowd warning him of something and turns around just in time for the lead pipe to connect with his jaw. Ambrose falls to the mat the crowd thankful it wasn’t worse. Bryan throws down the lead pipe and drags Ambrose to the center of the ring where he makes the cover at last.

Ambrose gets a shoulder up!
Piper: Are you yanking my chain!? Ambrose, do you want to wind up a cripple? Don’t kick out you dumbass.
Bryan laughs happy to see Ambrose would rather be beaten to a bloody pulp than to give up a fall. That was fine by him as he stands up and stretches again before picking up the trashcan. JR and Piper are beside themselves at ring side as Ambrose begins pulling himself to his feet with the ropes and finally does. Bryan looks like he is going to whack Ambrose across the head with the trash can but decides against it, instead Bryan tosses the garbage can on top of Ambrose trapping him inside the garbage can. Bryan is out to embarrass Ambrose now as Ambrose is unable to get out. Yes! Yes! Yes! Bryan begins pondering to the crowd only to turn around and get hit by a missile, or more like Ambrose running head first into Bryan with the trash can on his head. Ambrose could hear the taunting bastard and both men go crashing to the mat. The ref uses the moment to get Ambrose out of the trashcan as the crowd loves it.
JR: Bah Gawd what an impact, Dean Ambrose might have just concussed himself there. In my many years of calling matches I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that.
Piper: I think the term using your head would be quite an understatement. That was F***ing sick!
The camera takes a look at Ambrose now who has a nasty cut beginning to bleed near the crown of his skull. Ambrose is responsive however as he begins to move albeit very slowly. He manages to crawl over to Bryan and fall on top of him.

3… NO!
Daniel Bryan gets the shoulder up and the crowd gasps.
Piper: Good if that move would have won Ambrose the World Title I would have to shoot myself.
JR: I don’t think that would be so good for our PG rating Hot Rod.
Both men just lay there for several moments allowing themselves to catch their respective breaths. Bryan begins coughing as he rolls onto his side, while Ambrose lays face down his hand placed on his head, both of these men are surely going to be feeling this match in the morning. It is Bryan who manages to crawl to his feet first as Ambrose is still on the ground. Seeing another opportunity to present itself Bryan quickly runs up and grabs Ambrose’s leg and puts him into an Ankle Lock. The crowd begins to boo as Bryan is once again trying to make Ambrose tap out, but that isn’t necessary true as Bryan twists Ambrose’s ankle violently, Bryan is looking to break it! Ambrose realizing the amount of danger he’s in quickly flips onto his back and with his free foot kicks Bryan off of him. Bryan falls to the mat as Ambrose begins pulling himself up on the ropes. Bryan is quick to his feet however and attempts to renew his attack but Ambrose uses the ropes to hold him as he sends both legs out and manages to nail Bryan in the gut. Bryan hunches over as Ambrose sees the lead pipe out of the corner of his eye and grabs it, the crowd cheers wildly as Ambrose drives the pipe right between Bryan’s eyes. Ambrose is hurting bad, but he wants that Championship more than anything so he gets down and covers him.

Bryan gets a shoulder up.
JR: You have to wonder about that last kick out of Bryan’s was it desperation? If Bryan fell there Dean Ambrose would have the World championship right now.
Piper: That is the price you pay if you lose the first fall, plus I’m pretty sure Daniel has had plenty of opportunities to win this but has chosen to torture Ambrose instead. Not very ring smart in my book.
Bryan now has a cut on his face right above the bridge of his nose. Mixed in with the dry blood down his lip Bryan looks pretty bad, but not as bad as Ambrose his forehead is now a dark crimson. Ambrose finds the strength bring Bryan to his feet and drives a right hand into the blistering cut of Bryan which staggers the American Dragon. Ambrose, the crowd behind him, sends Bryan shooting off of the rope before catching him on the way back in a side slam position. Ambrose with Bryan in position does 2 360 degree circles before sending Bryan to the mat with his old finishing move the Moxicity. Unfortunately in order to build momentum for the slam Ambrose has made himself dizzy and he is unable to cover Bryan right away as his world is currently spinning. After several crucial seconds Ambrose is able to find his balance and pin Bryan’s shoulders to the mat.

Those crucial seconds gave Bryan all the time he needed to find the energy to get a shoulder up. Both men again are on the ground unable to move.
JR: And maybe a little show boating on the case of Ambrose there cost him as I feel he didn’t need to do the 2 circles.
Piper: I don’t think it was show boating JR, I think Ambrose did it because he felt he needed to in order to get Bryan to sit down.
Bryan is indeed fighting for his livelihood as he stirs to his feet. He is silently praying to himself for some help here as Ambrose appears to be unbeatable and is now taking it to Bryan with a ferocity he’s never seen. Bryan has no choice now as he reaches into his tights and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles. The audience sees it and begins booing, these knuckles are what cost Dave Batista his match a few weeks back. Ambrose goes up to turn Bryan around and gets knuckles right in his face, Ambrose is out on his feet as Daniel grabs him and sends him flying to the mat with a Regal-Plex. Bryan gets to his knees and thanks the wrestling Gods as he sees his hated foe is indeed unconscious. Like a shark smelling blood Bryan knows he can pin and win the second fall right here, but he can’t help and mock Ambrose one last time. Bryan grabs Ambrose and puts him back into the Yes Lock! Ambrose doesn’t even move he has been knocked out by the brass knuckles followed by the Regal Plex. And just like shades of Backlash the official fearing for Ambrose’s safety calls for the bell.
Winner of the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Fall: Daniel Bryan!
JR: That’s it! Just like at Backlash Daniel Bryan has literally knocked Ambrose unconscious to win the second fall here tonight and now partner we are tied at 1 apiece.
Piper: Which means we are going to see a ladder match next JR. And if Ambrose doesn’t find a way to wake up this could be the shortest ladder match in the history of professional wrestling.
Before the ladder match can begin however the officials must scramble to get the World Heavyweight Championship out of its case at ringside. Bryan is taunting the sold out Baltimore crowd the entire time before kicking an unconscious Ambrose out of the ring and to the floor below. The official who has called one hell of a match so far is the one to put the belt on the hook before motioning to the crew high above the arena to take it up. The World Heavyweight Championship goes high up into the air as Bryan now almost foaming at the mouth prepares for the single greatest moment of his career. After the belt reaches its highest peak the official has no choice to ring the bell, even though Ambrose is still unmoving on the floor.
DING DING DING!
The third fall begins and the crowd is booing loudly, as Bryan like a cheetah exits the ring and grabs one of the ladders that had been set up on the side of the ring ramp in case the match should have arrived at this moment. Bryan lifts the ladder up high in the air mocking the crowd before sliding it into the ring. Bryan looks like a kid in a candy store with his level of excitement believing he is just moments away from achieving his dream of being the best in the world, Period! He slows down a little not wanting to miss a single moment of his triumph. He takes a couple seconds longer than he should to set up the ladder underneath his target and his prize. He takes the first step gingerly than a second before jumping back off shaking his head, “No that isn’t right. Like this.†People are beginning to think Bryan has truly lost it as he gets half way up the ladder. The boos get louder every step the American Dragon takes before suddenly the crowd bursts into cheers as another ladder is thrown into the ring. Bryan is so focused on the World Title he doesn’t see Ambrose somehow awake and aware and getting into the ring. Bryan gets to the second to top step and reaches up for the title but finds himself just short of the hook. He shakes his head and begins to climb to the top step before the very top of the ladder. He is in range of the hook now but doesn’t get there as Ambrose sends the top of his ladder square into the back of Bryan. The impact sends Bryan off of the ladder, the ladder coming crumbling down to the mat. With the ladder still in Ambrose’s hands he uses it to smack Bryan down to the mat. Bryan is laid down in the center of the ring looking directly at the World Championship high above when Ambrose places the ladder on top of Bryan. Just like Smackdown only reversed Dean Ambrose begins climbing the ladder towards the gold as Bryan is stuck underneath the ladder only able to watch.
JR: And wouldn’t you call this poetic justice! Daniel Bryan is trapped underneath Dean Ambrose as Ambrose is going up to grab the Worlds title and enter the history books forever.
Piper: I bet you Bryan is not screaming Yes like a fool now. I learned the hard way what goes around comes around.
Ambrose has a harder time climbing as the balance is a little off due to Bryan being underneath it, but the ladder is still climbable. Ambrose reaches up for the World Title but just as Bryan moments earlier finds himself unable to reach it. The bloody face of Ambrose shows exhaustion as he takes another step closer to his dreams. He reaches getting further than Bryan now working his way down the straps to undo them when suddenly the ladder moves, the crowd is shocked as if Bryan has gone mad, pushing as hard as he can at the ladder until it finally tips over, Ambrose is forced to jump off but the timing is off and Ambrose comes down his chest and arms impacting with the top ring ropes in a brutal snake eyes from ten feet in the air. Ambrose is down as Bryan gets to his feet and looks at Ambrose who is holding his throat coughing trying to get air back into his lungs. Bryan’s eyes have glazed over now as he grabs Ambrose’s foot and begins tucking on the earlier ankle of Ambrose with another Ankle Lock. The crowd begins to boo loudly as Bryan like a wild animal begins ripping and tearing into the ankle looking to break it. The crowd continues to give Bryan major heat but he appears to be almost a crazed dog who won’t be happy until he’s claimed his territory. Ambrose doesn’t have enough left to get out of it, and he can’t use the ropes to break it, the ref tells Bryan to stop or else, but Bryan doesn’t care. He wants to break that damn ankle, for this moment in time Bryan has completely lost it. Before he can do irreversible damage the referee realizing something is seriously wrong here grabs Bryan and using all the strength he can muster manages to pull Bryan off of Ambrose. Bryan turns towards the official only to receive a smack across the face. “What the hell are you doing? I will end this match right here and now if you don’t start climbing.â€
JR: And you have to give this official credit. You knew damn well coming in both men were going to try and kill each other and it looks like this official is going to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Piper: That slap appears to have brought Bryan out of whatever crazed funk he was in because he is heading back to get a ladder.
Bryan is indeed grabbing the ladder and places it in the center of the ring, he begins climbing it step by step his back turned towards Ambrose who is unable to stand on his one ankle now. Bryan gets to the top as Ambrose reaches the bottom of the ladder. There is no way Ambrose is going to be able to stop Bryan from unstrapping the belt unless he does something desperate. Without hesitating Ambrose grabs Bryan by the top of his tights and pulls them down, exposing Bryan’s ass towards the south side seats. The camera gets a really good shot as the crowd goes nuts.
JR: I guess there is a full moon here tonight Hot Rod.
Piper: Oh come on JR. Do you know any jokes that are even remotely funny to anyone over the age of 5?
Bryan has to choose between the World Title and his dignity and chooses the latter as he hops down and fixes his tights. Bryan is livid now having been truly embarrassed by Ambrose, seeing Ambrose kneeling in front of the ladder laughing causes Bryan to lose it, and it is very easy for Bryan to send Ambrose to the ground with a nasty kick in the head. Ambrose falls to the mat. “You want to embarrass me hotshot? Well I’m about to take that title, so you go ahead and get your cheap laugh, because I’m going to have the last one you stupid son of a bitch!†Bryan stands up and screams “YES! YES! YES!†And the crowd roars back in a “NO! NO! NO!†Chant. Bryan heads to the opposite side of the ladder right in Ambrose’s view. “I’ll climb up this way so you can see me beat you!â€
JR: And the personal nature of this match-up clearly showing in this third and final fall. Bryan is climbing right in the view of Ambrose mocking him.
Piper: It is what I do to you every week JR what with the BBQ and fat jokes.
Bryan gets to the top of the ladder and grabs the World Title particularly the straps, he is about to undo them when he looks down at his opponent. Ambrose worn out and exhausted, having reached his physical limit is somehow beginning to climb the ladder. Bryan can’t believe it as he sits there victory in his hands as he smiles. “Alright, you want to get close and personal for this come on!†Bryan lets go of the World Title and reaches back into his tights where he brings out his brass knuckles again that he put away after the end of the second fall. He plans on driving them right into the crimson head of Ambrose when he gets to the top of it. Ambrose is slow but steady and he gets to the top of the ladder and gets a massive pop from the crowd, the heart of a champion is indeed in this man from Cincy. Bryan and Ambrose both stare at each other through blood, tears, and sweat. Both men at the end of their limits this is the final stand and only one of them will be walking out.
JR: Can you feel that chill in the air Partner. Something big is about to happen now!
Piper: I have a feeling you and I are going to see a World Champion crowned here real soon.
The moment is broken up by Bryan who throws back his hand covered in brass and lunges at the man who for months has made his life a personal hell, he expects to connect but somehow Ambrose dodges it, this leaves Bryan vulnerable as Ambrose drives Bryan’s already damaged nose into the top of the ladder. Bryan doesn’t get back up, he has nothing left everything he had left was in that punch. Ambrose looks up at the World Title now just inches away, but Ambrose is only human and feels the need for vengeance. Ambrose looks around the ring floor and sees the ladder on the ground very close to the ladder they are on now. Ambrose puts his arm up in the air, he is one crazy son of a bitch and this match is going to end just how this feud has been, crazy. Ambrose grabs Bryan sets him up for the superplex, the crowd begins to cheer realizing Ambrose is going to superplex Bryan onto the ladder. With reckless abandonment he pulls Bryan up into a vertical position, and the world stops for a second for Ambrose as he takes a leap of faith off of the ladder. The two fall ten feet to the floor, while in the air Ambrose pushes Bryan forward and Bryan comes face first like a DDT into the ladder on the ground. To the outside world Dean Ambrose has just hit his One-Hitter finishing move off of one ladder and onto another.
JR: OH MY GOD!
PIPER: HOLY FUCK!
Bryan might very well be dead as Ambrose rolls around in agony. The crowd begins a Holy Shit chant as both men have truly given it there all. Ambrose is in pain but thinks about what’s at stake and every moment he’s had in his long and sometimes hard career. Ambrose curses as he fights off the pain long enough to get to his feet. His ankle is killing him, his body won’t be able to move tomorrow morning, but he needs it to work for only one maybe two more minutes. He is in a daze, almost like auto-pilot as he climbs the ladder at last reaching his destination. He looks at his fallen foe, unmoving right where he left him and nods silently in respect. At long last the moment is here as Ambrose reaches out and grabs the World Championship by the straps, he undoes them hoping his body will hold out for one second longer and yanks with all he has left. His knees buckle and he gives into his beaten body as he falls to the floor, he barely feels himself hitting the canvas, but he is aware, he is alive, and his hand is holding the thing that made it all worth it, for in his hand is the World Heavyweight Championship! The bell rings!
The Winner of the Third Fall and therefore the Winner of the 2/3 Falls Match and NEW UWF World Heavyweight Champion: Dean Ambrose!!!
The crowd is on their feet applauding the effort of both men as attendants immediately head into the ring removing signs of the chaos as they quickly begin to work on the two men who put everything into this match up.
JR: This is by far one of the greatest matches I’ve ever seen Piper, Dean Ambrose is your new UWF Worlds Heavyweight Champion and what a way to do it. Love them, hate them, you call this stuff fake, look into that ring, look at the blood, look at the sweat, this is real competition Hot Rod, competition you really only find here in the UWF!
Piper: Even I am speechless at the epicness of this match. Any naysaying I had of Dean Ambrose is out the window, and even Daniel Bryan, he might be a crazy asshole but he proved he has what it takes as well. Dean Ambrose may be the Champion and the best man, but after what I just saw Daniel Bryan is a VERY close second.
JR: High Praise from you Hot Rod, are you sure you are feeling ok?
Piper: Dammit I need a beer, this soft stuff is for chicks.
Ambrose and Bryan are now both being put on stretchers as even Desmond Wolfe is now out there checking on the two gladiators. Officials cart out Bryan first and place him into the back of the ambulance. Ambrose is second but as the officials try to take the World Title from Ambrose he holds on to it fiercely. This causes the crowd to cheer everyone on the arena is on their feet. Wolfe places the title on Ambrose’s waist and tells the attendant to take it with him, he has earned it. The final image we see is Ambrose being lifted into the second ambulance his thumb up in a sign that he is ok as the camera’s fade. This is where Starrcade heads off the air.
UWF Great American Bash July 21st said:Cole: Ladies and Gentlemen, it's now time for the United States Championship. In the mind of the Champion; Cody Rhodes, this rivalry dates back to last August. Rhodes insists CM Punk is one of the primary reasons that he is the man that he is today.
King: Cody Rhodes has one of Raw's most dominant stars, only losing one match since UWF rebooted. And his run has been even more impressive since he was awarded the United States Championship back on June 12th. Since then, he has defeated Austin Aries, CM Punk and several others. But he has never been at this sort of disadvantage before.
Cole: What King is referring to is the fact that CM Punk thrives when he's in Chicago. He calls it his "sanctuary". It brings out a drive in Punk that few people can match. Can Cody Rhodes defeat CM Punk yet again? Or will the self proclaimed "Best in The World" become the New United States Champion. It's time to find out!

Justin Roberts: Ladies and Gentlemen, the next bout is scheduled for one fall and is for the UWF United States Championship. Introducing first, from Chicago, Illonois....
Huge pop from the crowd!!!
Roberts: He is the challenger! C....M PUUUUUNNNNKKKK!!!!
" ... Love, your hate..
Your, faith lost..
You are now.. one of us!"

"Miseria Cantare" by AFI pounds throughout the arena speakers, signifying the arrival of one man - CM Punk. The pop for the hometown boy is unbelivable. If possible, it gets even louder as Punk walks out onto the stage. Punk drops to a knee, gently stroking the entrance ramp before putting his wrist to his ear. He gets to his feet and yells out that it's "Clobbering Time". Punk gets to his feet and throws a few fists in the air before turning around and stretching his arms, enjoying the reaction that he's recieving.
Punk makes his way down the ramp and starts climbing the steel steps. He makes his way to the top rope where he throws his arms out and screams "Best In The World!!". Punk drops into the ring where he does before laps before sitting down Indian style in the center of the ring as he awaits the Champion.
Cole: I've never heard a reaction like this. It's deafening!!!
King: The only way I think this place would be any louder is if the Chicago Bears were in the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl was held in Chicago. This is madness.
Cole: And Jerry, if you're Cody Rhodes, how do you counter this? I'm sure Rhodes has a strategy heading into this, but I don't think he expected this sort of reaction for the challenger to his Championship.
Roberts: And his opponent from Marrietta, Georgia, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is the reigning and defending UWF United States Champion; Cody Rhodes!
Whoa Oh
Cody Rhodes theme hits the arena and the crowd immediately get on their feet booing the stage. Cody Rhodes appears hiding his masked former dashing face, with every step turning his head and repeatedly moving his hands up and down at times covering his face.
As Rhodes makes it to ring side he looks in the ring while the camera zooms in on his face, Rhodes snarls before suddenly turning to his left and running up the steels steps. Walking to the middle of the ring apron he wipes his feet before entering the ring, in the middle of the ring he takes his hood off staring at the crowd with hatred in his eyes before. Snarling once again before crinking his neck to the side and waits for the bell.
The bell rings and the Chicago crowd is firmly behind their hometown hero; CM Punk. Rhodes blocks out the outside noise and simply focuses on the task at hand. Both men watch as the referee holds the title high in the air as the mat is set to begin. The title is removed from the ring and the two lock up. Punk is quick to attack, grabbing Rhodes by the arm and taking him to the canvas with a swift arm drag. Rhodes goes to the canvas but quickly gets to his feet. As he does, Punk goes low, looking for a low sweep kick. Rhodes sees it coming and hops over Punk’s leg. Rhodes then goes on the offensive, grabbing Punk by the arm and throwing him over towards the far ropes. As Punk bounces off them and comes back at Rhodes, the Champion lowers his head in an attempted back body drop. Punk sees this and leapfrogs over Rhodes and continues to run off the opposing ropes. Rhodes gets back in position just in time to turn around and see Punk coming. Rhodes uses his upper body strength to push Punk in the air and as the straight edge challenger hands in midair, Punk is able to wraps his legs around Rhodes’ neck and surprise the Champion with a Frankensteiner out of nowhere. After Punk performs the surprise counter, he reaches back and bridges Rhodes' legs, going for the first pinfall of this Championship bout….

Rhodes kicks out!
Both men get to their feet at the same time, with Rhodes somewhat shocked at what has transpired so far. He stays focused none the less. Rhodes goes right after Punk, only to have the Challenger put him in a side headlock…
Cole: Punk has Rhodes on the defensive.
As Punk has the front head lock applied, Rhodes steps back to the near ropes and uses them to push Punk off. The headlock is broken and as Punk comes off the ropes, Rhodes it him with a standing shoulder block. Punk goes down and the Champion goes for a cover…

Punk kicks out!
Rhodes quickly gets off his Challenger before dropping an elbow across Punk’s throat. Rhodes then goes for another cover…

Punk kicks out!
Rhodes gets off Punk and lifts the Second City Saint to his feet. Rhodes throws Punk’s arm over his shoulder, before snapping off a beautiful suplex, driving the Challenger spine first onto the canvas. Rhodes floats over, driving his elbow into Punk’s face, going for yet another cover…

Punk kicks out!
King: Cody Rhodes is wrestling his style of match. Slow, methodical, not letting Punk gather any momentum.
Rhodes lifts Punk off the canvas before Irish Whipping him towards the far corner. Punk counters and sends Rhodes towards the corner instead…
Cole: This may be the opening CM Punk needs.
Punk charges at the corner, hitting his patented high knee right to the jaw of Cody Rhodes. Rhodes’ head snaps back and Punk grabs hold of it before charging out of the corner, looking to finish the sequence with a running bulldog. Cody Rhodes knows all too well what’s coming and pushes CM Punk away, breaking the attempted bulldog. Rhodes then uses this opportunity to go low on Punk, clipping his left knee with a chop block. CM Punk falls to the canvas in pain as he grabs his knee. Rhodes goes over to Punk, taking said knee and stepping over it, before dropping all of his body weight onto it. Punk yells in agony as Rhodes covers him…

Punk kicks out!
King: This is where Cody Rhodes is at his most dangerous!
Rhodes grabs Punk by the leg and drags him over to the far side of the ring. Cody rolls under the bottom rope before grabbing hold of Punk’s leg once more. He drags Punk near the ring pole before smirking at the Challenger and slamming his left knee directly into the steel pole. You can hear Punk cry in pain as Rhodes takes the knee and drives it into the pole for a second time…
Cole: In the battle of steel versus flesh Ladies and Gentlemen, steel always wins.
Rhodes acknowledges that the referee’s count is at 5 already. He proceeds to roll in the ring under the bottom rope, but isn’t finished. He rolls back to the outside and goes right after Punk. Rhodes grabs Punk by the knee before removing Punk’s left knee brace and throwing a pew fists onto the knee, weakening it for whatever he’s got in store. Rhodes then takes the knee and interlocks it with Punk’s other leg, applying a corner version of the Figure Four Leglock!
King: Oh My God! Cody Rhodes has got the figure four locked in on CM Punk.
Cole: Brilliant by Cody. Using the steel ring pole to apply even more damage is genius!
Rhodes has the submission applied tight, but technically CM Punk is in the ropes, so the referee has to count…

Rhodes breaks the hold reluctantly!
Punk grabs his knee as Rhodes enters the ring. Rhodes looks down on the challenger, who is trying to crawl away. Punk crawls all the way to the other side of the ring as Rhodes stalks him the way a lion stalks his prey. The Champion knows that the Challenger is wounded. Punk uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet as Cody is ready to attack once again. As the Champion comes towards the Challenger, Punk is able to use his good leg to catch Rhodes with a boot to the stomach. This slows Rhodes, but doesn’t stop him. He comes at Punk again, only to have Punk meet him with another boot to the stomach. This one gives Punk the opening he needs. He pushes himself out of the corner, grabbing Rhodes by the head and taking him down with a swinging neckbreaker. Both Challenger and Champion lay on the mat for a moment before Punk crawls to a cover…

Rhodes kicks out!
Punk hobbles to his feet, finally in control of this match. Cody Rhodes gets to his feet just in time as Punk charges at him, taking him to the canvas with a stiff clothesline. This surprises the Champion, who quickly gets to his feet, only to have Punk hit him with another. A frustrated Rhodes gets to feet once more, only to have the Challenger use his good leg to catch Rhodes square in the jaw with a jumping back heel kick. The babyface comeback has begun and the Chicago fans eat it up…
Cole: How is Punk doing this on one leg!?
King: It’s got to be the energy from his hometown fans!
Rhodes needs a second. He crawls over to a nearby corner, hoping for a break. The Challenger will not give it to him though. As Rhodes rests on the turnbuckle, Punk looks towards his people and tells them “That it’s time to try this againâ€. Punk charges at the turnbuckle, hitting Rhodes with the trademark running high knee. Punk does not waste any time, grabbing Rhodes head and this time hitting the running bulldog. The fans are eating it up as Punk gets to a knee. He puts his palms together on the side of his head, letting everyone know that it’s “nap timeâ€. Punk stands up, patiently stalking the United States Champion. Rhodes is a little worse for wear right now. He tries to shake off the cobwebs, but that bulldog took it out of him. Rhodes manages to stumble to his feet, but unknowing stumbles right to Punk. The Challenger lowers his shoulder, preparing to finish off Cody Rhodes…
King: If Punk gets him up, this place will explode!
Punk manages to get Cody onto his shoulders and King was right, the United Center fills with cheers. Punk has Cody Rhodes in position for the Go To Sleep…
Cole: We may have a new United States Champion!
Before Punk can perform his finishing move, his knee gives out and he drops Rhodes. The United States Champion grabs Cody before lifting him onto his shoulders and performing an impactful Alabama Slam! The ring shakes on impact as Rhodes goes for the cover…
1…
2…
Punk rolls a shoulder!
Rhodes gets to his feet and smiles. He knows that Punk is vulnerable….
Cole: If Punk can’t get Rhodes up for the Go To Sleep, I don’t know how he can beat him.
Punk crawls back over to a corner for support. Rhodes goes right at him. The Champion takes Punk’s left knee and places it on the middle rope adjacent to him. Cody then takes a few steps back before charging back in towards Punt, trying to boot the knee….
King: This won’t be good for CM Punk!
At the last minute, Punk is able to free his leg and move out of the way. Rhodes hits nothing but turnbuckle pad, which surprises the Champion and gives Punk the opportunity to sneak up behind him before lifting him in the air and dropping him back on the canvas with a back body drop. Rhodes grabs his head on impact as the Challenger gets to his feet one more time. Punk gingerly makes his way over to the ring apron before slowly climbing to the top rope…
King: I don’t know how smart this is!
CM Punk moves slowly but does make it to the top. By the time he made it to the top, Cody Rhodes has gotten back to his feet. Rhodes leaps from the mat to the top turnbuckle…
Cole: What athleticism from the United States Champion!
Punk is ready for Rhodes though and as Rhodes lands on the top rope, the challenger catches him with a right hand to the stomach. This out of nowhere blow shocks the Champion and allows Punk to throws Rhodes’ arm over his shoulder and throw Cody back down onto the canvas with a front suplex!
King: Great counter by CM Punk! Now he’s in the driver’s seat!
Rhodes rolls over onto his back as CM Punk straightens himself out on the turnbuckle. Punk points both arms in the air paying homage to the legendary “Macho Man†Randy Savage. The Chicago fans all cheer “OOHH YEEEAAAHHH! as Punk yells “Best in The World†before diving off the top rope and dropping his trademark elbow onto Cody Rhodes’ chest. Punk crashes onto the Champion, driving all the air out of his lungs before going for a cover…
1…
2…
Cole: New Champion!
3…NO! Rhodes kicks out!
Punk slaps the mat, thinking that he had Rhodes right there. He shakes off the frustration before getting to his feet one more time. He tells all of his hometown fans that this is over. Punk starts jumping in place, waiting for Cody Rhodes to get to his feet. He begs the United States Champion to get up and when Cody does, Punk spins Cody around and lifts him onto his shoulders…
Cole: Punk’s going for the Go To Sleep!
This time, the Challenger doesn’t waste any time. He quickly throws Rhodes off his shoulders and onto his knee, hitting the Go To Sleep!!
King: He got him!
The crowd cheers as Cody Rhodes’ body goes limp and he falls to the mat. What they don’t see is that CM Punk has fallen to the mat, grabbing his knee in pain. The crowd becomes silent, praying for their fallen Hero.
Cole: CM Punk brought Cody Rhodes’ face into his bad knee. That protective mask did more damage to Punk’s knee than Punk did to Rhodes’ face.
Cole is right! Punk rolls around the ring in obvious pain. The Go To Sleep may not have been the best idea. Punk attempts to block out the pain and starts crawling towards Cody Rhodes…
King: CM Punk may have some structural damage done to his knee.
Punk makes it over to Rhodes, a grimace on his face the entire time and covers the Champion…
1…
2…
Rhodes kicks out!
Rhodes rolls a shoulder at 2 ½ and the expression on Punk’s face tells the story. He knows that may have been his last chance. Punk crawls over to the near ropes and tries to pull himself up, but as he makes it halfway, his knee buckles under him, sending him back down to the canvas…
Cole: CM Punk can’t even stand. The referee may have to consider calling this.
Over on the other side of the ring, Cody Rhodes is pulling himself to his feet. He looks over to Punk and notices the predicament that the Challenger is in. Rhodes limps over to Punk, mocking him the entire time. Rhodes goes right after the bad knee. He takes it, before steeping over, looking for another Figure Four Leglock…
King: Rhodes going back to what brought him!
But as Rhodes tries to grab Punk’s other leg, the Challenger is able to grab Rhodes’ head and inside cradle the Champion…
1…
King: What the!
2…
Rhodes kicks out!
Both men get to their feet, Punk obviously slower than Rhodes. Rhodes goes back on the attack, grabbing Punk by the arm and Irish Whipping him towards the near ropes. Punk bounces off the ropes and comes back at Rhodes who lifts him off the mat and slams him down hard with a ring-shaking Spinebuster! Rhodes wastes no time, going for another cover…
1…
2…
Punk kicks out!
King: I think if you’re CM Punk, you need to live to fight another day!
Rhodes is genuinely shocked that Punk kicked out that time. Never the less, Rhodes stays focused. He drags Punk towards the turnbuckle. The Champion positions the Challenger right under the top rope before heading towards the ring apron and climbing to the top…
Cole: What’s Cody Rhodes going for? He’s out of his comfort zone up there.
Instead of facing Punk, Rhodes turns his back to his Challenger before flipping backwards off the top rope, performing a beautiful Moonsault!
King: Like him or not, Cody Rhodes performs the best moonsault in the business.
Before Rhodes crashes down onto Punk, the Challenger rolls out of the way and Rhodes hits nothing but canvas. The Chicago crowd chants “CM Punk!! CM Punk!!†trying to will the Challenger on. It seems to work as Punk picks himself up in the corner. He doesn’t stop there and he heads to the middle rope…
Cole: CM Punk is back on the attack!
Punk waits for his opponent to get up. Rhodes does and unwittingly stumbles right towards the corner where Punk is perched. Rhodes is still out of it after missing that moonsault. But once he reaches Punk, he regains his wits. As Punk is on the middle rope, Cody Rhodes immediately throws an elbow to Punk’s stomach. This slows Punk down, stopping him from jumping. Rhodes throws another one before climbing up to the middle rope with Punk. Rhodes throws a few fists, this time to Punk’s face, before the Challenger comes back with rapid fire forearms to the chest of the Champion…
Cole: Both men are going at it like prize fighters!
King: This is a match Cole!
Both men go back and forth, exchanging blows at every available opportunity. Punk hits the crushing blow, an uppercut right to Rhodes’ throat. Rhodes struggles to breathe after the blow, and subsequently almost falls off the middle rope. He saves himself by holding onto the top rope. But this has given CM Punk the opening that he needs. Punk slowly moves from the middle rope to the very top. Rhodes is still at his mercy, and just to be safe, Punk smashes Rhodes’ head onto the top turnbuckle pad…
Cole: This could be very dangerous!
Punk stands on the top rope in full control of this match. He grabs both of Rhodes’ arms before placing the Champion’s head between his legs. The fans get to their feet and witness greatness as Punk leaps off the top rope with a Double Underhook Facebuster to the Champion!
King: Pepsi Plunge! Punk’s going back to his Indy days!
Punk hits his trademark independent move. Both men are exhausted from this contest and both men lay on the mat as the referee begins his 10-count…

Rhodes kicks out!
An exhausted Punk rolls his eyes in disbelief. He doesn’t give up. As soon as Rhodes kicks out, CM Punk jumps on him. Punk grabs Rhodes’ arm, wrapping it around his neck and wrenching back, applying the Anaconda Vice!
Cole: Punk’s got the Vice!
Punk’s choking Rhodes out with his own arm. Rhodes flails around the ring, looking for a way to break the hold. His legs aren’t close enough to the ropes…
King: Rhodes is going to have to find a way to make it to the ropes.
Rhodes does everything he can to break the hold. He tries pushing Punk off with his free arm, but that’s not working. Giving up on that strategy, he continues to try and make it to the ropes, but that doesn’t seem as if it’s going to happen. In an attempt to wriggle Punk off him, Rhodes rolls through, taking himself away from the ropes in the process…
Cole: Did he break it?
The plan backfired as CM Punk will not release the Anaconda Vice! And now Cody is far from the ropes. Rhodes fights back, but his movement is becoming less emphatic and less frequent. The Champion is starting to fade. The referee goes over to Rhodes and checks on him, asking if he wants to quit. Rhodes yells “NO!!†and continues to find a way to break the submission. Rhodes struggles to free himself, but the Anaconda Vice is like quick sand; the more you fight, the deeper you get sucked in…
King: I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone in the Anaconda Vice this long.
Rhodes gets his second win and starts crawling towards the ropes. He uses his legs to drag himself towards them. Inch by inch, Rhodes drags both himself and Punk towards the nearest set of ropes. Punk realizes that they are getting freakishly close to breaking the hold, so he pulls back even more, applying more pressure in the process. Rhodes will not quit, moving even closer to the ropes and breaking the hold. He is only a legs length away; all he has to do is reach his foot out. Punk sees this too and does everything he can to make the Anaconda Vice even more unbearable. The question is “Who will win this war?†Punk pulls back even more as Rhodes uses his foot to feel for the ropes. He can’t seem to find it. Punk is a man possessed right now, refusing to give up on this submission…
The pain is becoming too much to bear and although the ropes are a few inches away, they may as well be miles away. Punk pulls back on the submission one more time and this proves to be the final straw as Cody Rhodes reaches his breaking point and uses his free hand to tap Punk’s shoulder repeatedly, signaling that he’s surrendering!!!
King: Punk did it! Punk did it!
Roberts: Here is your winner and the NEW UWF United States Champion; CM Punk!
Cole: Unbelievable! On one leg, CM Punk just ran through the hottest man in UWF.
CM Punk tries to stand up, but his knee gives out on him once more. The referee throws up the “X†arm signal, letting the officials in the back know that Punk may be seriously injured. A few more referees run down the ramp and enter the ring, trying to help Punk to his feet. They lift Punk off the canvas and rest him on their shoulders. Punk takes a deep breath and pushes them away, telling them that he’ll walk away on his own accord. Punk asks for his newly won Championship and the referee complies. The new Champion holds the title high in the air, yelling that he is “The Best In The World†before leaving the ring. An obviously hurt Punk limps up the ramp with his United States Championship resting on his shoulder. Punk makes it to the top of the ramp before turning back towards the fans and holding his Championship high in the air to the delight of everyone in the United Center.
King: Bad leg or not, tonight CM Punk can say that not only is he “The Best in The Worldâ€, but he’s the New United States Champion. Congratulations Punk!
UWF King of The Ring October 28 2012 said:
Cole: It's now time for our main event. For months, Christian has been biding his time as Stone Cold Steve Austin walked around as UWF Champion. And at last month's Clash of The Champions show, Christian resurfaced; costing Steve Austin the UWF Championship at the same time. It's now time for this rivalry to come to an end.
Justin Roberts: The following is the Hell in A Cell Match, scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontraio, Canada, weighing in at 225 pounds; Christian!

"Just Close Your Eyes" by Story Of The Year can be heard bellowing out of the arena's PA system, signalling the imminent arrival of Captain Charisma, Christian. Although many UWF fans can be seen singing along with the theme music, it's not due to their enjoyment of the arriving Christian, rather due to the fact they just enjoy the song. Just five to ten seconds after the commencement of his theme music, Christian emerges from the back sporting a smirk on his face as he looks around at the booing audience. Christian only momentarily stands on the stage before choosing to make his way down the ramp towards the ring.
Fans can be seen hurling abuse at the charismatic man, but Christian doesn't acknowledge the jeers whatsoever, as he is focused on his objective. Christian reaches the bottom of the ramp, rounds the corner and walks up the steel steps, before approaching the ring ropes. Christian walks along the ring apron, wipes his feet and enters the ring.
Roberts: And his opponent, from Victoria, Texas, weighining in at 265 pounds; Stone Cold Steve Austin!
"PSSSH!"

Just when it seems like things couldn't get any more electric, at the very moment one is convinced the fans in attendance couldn't get any louder or more excited, the sound of shattering glass is heard over the PA system and rings out through the entire arena. As soon as the sound hits the eardrums of every Austin fan in attendance, they become absolutely unglued, leaping to their feet and screaming at the top of their lungs cheering, each of them decked out in various Stone Cold merchandise such as hats and t-shirts, and many of them holding personalized signs, some of them emblazoned with logos often seen on popular Austin memorabilia, others featuring famous catchphrases of his, and quite a few expressing their personal feelings in regards to the upcoming Hell in a Cell match between their beloved Rattlesnake and Christian. Following this classic sound is the iconic music as the man this theme belongs to, the man all these people are clamoring to hear from and paid to see, makes his way through the curtain and appears on the stage.
With the appearance of the Rattlesnake himself, the excitement level of the fans goes up several more octaves. Austin has a smirk on his face as he makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring, going to the far side of the ring and ascending the turnbuckle to his left, throwing up his arms and extending the double middle finger gesture known as the Stone Cold Salute to the fans surrounding him. Stone Cold steps down and turns around, going to the diagonally opposite corner, ascending it and repeating the gesture. He then steps down and repeats the process with the turnbuckle to his right before stepping down and gesturing to the crowd one last time on the final turnbuckle.
After stepping down from the final turnbuckle, Austin stares deeply into his opponent's eyes as the bell rings.
The Cell fully lowers and this match is underway. Neither Austin nor Christian move; both men just stand there, soaking up the atmosphere and never taking an eye off the Cell. The tension can be cut with a knife; this feud dates back to the beginning of the summer. Christian feels as if Austin robbed him and Austin feels as if Christian robbed him. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the first to move, going right after Christian, delivering right hands to Captain Charisma. The right hands force Christian backwards into the corner; trying to guard himself to no avail the entire time. Austin’s punches still manage to get through which rock Christian to his core. Austin manages to deliver a dozen stiff right hands in a short period of time, which sends Christian onto his backside in the corner. This doesn’t stop Austin’s assault. Austin begins using his feet instead of his hands; stomping a mudhole into Christian before giving him the trademark two finger salute and adding one more foot stomp for good measure….
Cole: And Stone Cold is coming out like a ball of fire!
King: What did you expect Cole? Christian cost Austin the UWF Championship and this is Austin’s first opportunity to get his hands on him since.
Cole: Let’s also not forget; it’s Austin last opportunity!
Austin rolls out of the ring and to the outside. Austin shakes the Cell, checking for to see just how strong the Cell actually is. This only takes a brief second and Austin turns his attention back to what he originally left the ring for; he came out here for the steel steps. Austin grabs the steps before lifting them up and throwing them into the ring…
King: And Austin is looking to take it to Christian in another fashion.
The steel steps crash as they hit the canvas. Austin rolls into the ring under the bottom rope just as Christian is coming to. Austin picks up the stairs and waits for Christian to get to his feet. As Christian manages to do so; Austin runs right at him with the steel steps.
Cole: This may be a short match!
As Austin is running towards Christian, Captain Charisma is able to counter. Christian drops down and performs a drop toe hold, causing Austin to fall face first. The stairs fall to the canvas and Austin’s face crashes directly onto them…
King: That backfired for the Texas Rattlesnake!
As Austin’s face collides with the steel steps, a nearly unconscious Rattlesnake rolls out of the ring underneath the bottom rope and to the floor. Christian goes right after Austin, grabbing him off the floor and throwing him face first into the side of the Cell…
Cole: Austin’s face was just introduced to the steel!
Christian doesn’t relent, throwing Austin’s face back into the cage, this time grating his like it was a block of cheese. Steve Austin grunts and cries as Christian drags his face across the steel. Christian stops momentarily and allows Austin’s face to be removed from the steel before grabbing Austin by the head and launching him right back into the side of the Cell. Austin sells this perfectly, bouncing around on the outside as Christian grabs him by the head and throws him back into the ring…

2…
Austin kicks out!
Christian quickly gets off Austin and makes his way to the far side of the ring. He heads to the middle rope, where he patiently waits for Steve Austin to get to his feet. Once the Rattlesnake does, Christian leaps off. But as Christian hangs in midair, Austin delivers a right hand to Christian’s midsection. This causes Christian to do a front flip before hitting the canvas. Austin quickly grabs Christian by the leg before rolling out of the ring and dragging Christian back to the floor. This time it’s Austin, who grabs Christian by the head and throws him face first into the steel side of the Cell…
King: And now it’s Christian who finds out what the Cell feels like!
Similar to the way Christian did to Austin earlier, Stone Cold drags Christian’s face along the side of the Cell, grating it and trying to rip the flesh from the bone. Christian screams in agony as the steel rips at his facial features. Steve Austin; proud of his actions mind you; throws Christian back into the ring. Austin follows suit, climbing onto the ring apron before making his way to the second rope. Austin proceeds to flip Christian off before leaping off the middle rope and delivering a forearm smash right to Christian’s head. Austin then proceeds to go for a cover…
1…
2…
Christian kicks out!
As Christian kicks out, Austin rolls back to the outside of the ring. He lifts the ring skirt, looking for some sort of weapon. He pulls something out from underneath the ring…
King: First the steps; now Austin’s got a chair!
Cole: He really wants to hurt poor Christian!
Austin gets back into the ring with the chair in hand. He looks to decapitate Christian with it, but as soon as Austin enters the ring, Christian strikes with a surprise dropkick to the chair. This sends the chair directly into Austin’s face and he goes down. Christian rushes to a cover…
1…
2…
Austin kicks out!
After the kick out, Austin rolls onto his back as Christian gets to his feet and picks up the chair. Christian looks intently at the chair before raising it high above his head and bringing it down on Austin’s body. Steel on flesh yet again and steel does indeed win once more as Austin’s body is ravaged by the steel chair. But Christian isn’t finished. He raises the chair yet again and brings it down onto Austin a second time; then he repeats the process for a third time. Christian follows this up with a fourth steel chair shot and a fifth steel chair shot and a sixth all to the prone body of Steve Austin before throwing the chair down and going for another cover…
1…
2…
Austin kicks out!
Cole: Geez! That was hard to watch!
King: Christian is intent on ending Steve Austin’s career.
After that assault with the chair, Christian takes a few steps back into the near corner before dropping down into a three point stance. Christian raises his right arm, begging Austin to get to his feet. The Rattlesnake crawls across the ring, looking for something to help get him to his feet. He finds that something in the form of the ring ropes, and on jelly legs Austin is able to get up. As he does, Christian charges right at him looking for a Spear. Austin is prepared for it and as Christian runs in, Austin leaves his feet and takes Christian down with a Lout Thesz press. The Rattlesnake delivers several right hands to the face of Christian before getting off him and delivering a standing knee drop right into Christian’s skull. Austin then goes for another cover…
1…
2…
Christian kicks out!
Austin gets off Christian before walking across the ring and dragging the steel steps that were introduced into the fray towards the center of the ring. Austin positions the steps in a before grabbing Christian and lifting him off his feet, in preparation for a spinebuster. But before Austin can drop Christian onto the steel, Christian is able to counter by wrapping his arm around Austin’s head and spiking Austin down onto the steps with a vicious DDT…
Cole: Oh My!
Austin’s head bounces of the steps and Christian quickly goes for a cover…
1…
2…
Austin rolls a shoulder!
Christian gets to a knee after Austin kicks out. He’s got that look written on his face. Slowly, Christian starts clapping, letting everyone know what’s about to happen. With each passing second, Christian’s pace picks up. Christian patiently stalks Austin, who still has shaken the cobwebs from the DDT. Austin slowly pushes himself to his feet, unaware that Christian is behind him. As Austin manages to get up, Christian hooks both of Austin’s arms and turns around…
Cole: Killswitch!
At the very last second, Austin is able to break Christian’s grip on his arms and lift Christian off the mat, dropping him onto the steel steps with a back body drop!
King: That may have broken his neck!
Christian grabs his neck in obvious pain as Austin crawls to a cover…
1…
2…
Christian kicks out at 2 ½
After Christian kicks out, Austin goes back under the bottom rope and to the outside. Austin looks under the ring yet again, looking for anything to do damage to Christian. As Austin looks, his attention is drawn by an incoming Christian. Christian runs across the ring and leaps through the middle rope, driving Austin into the steel with a suicide dive. Christian slaps his chest after taking Austin out, motioning to his peeps. Christian grabs Austin by his head, lifting him to his feet before looking to drive his skull into the side of the Cell one more time. But before he can, Austin blocks it and manages to throw Christian face first into the steel instead. Austin doesn’t release his grip on Christian’s skull, taking him from the Cell and running towards the edge of the ring, throwing Christian face first into the steel ring pole. Christian’s skull smacks off the pole as Austin looks on intently, proud of himself…
Cole: Christian just went face first into the steel ring pole!
King: And it looks like that shot busted Christian open.
King is right, that shot split Christian’s forehead wide open. After being thrown in the steel pole, Christian tries crawling away from Austin. Stone Cold will not have any of that. Austin grabs one of the cameramen’s camera cables and stands over Christian, who is reaching under the ring for something. Austin takes the cable and similar to their match at The Great American Bash, Austin begins choking the life out of Christian…
Cole: This is not fair!
Austin squeezes and squeezes, trying to choke Christian out. What Austin does not realize is that Christian has found a steel chair under the ring. As Austin chokes Christian, Captain Charisma brings the chair out from under the ring and swings it over his shoulder, bringing it down directly on Stone Cold’s unprotected skull!
Cole: What a shot!
After that drilling chair shot, both Stone Cold and Christian lay on the outside of the ring. Blood is pouring from the top of Christian’s head and as the camera pans over towards Austin, you can see that he’s been split open as well. Christian is the first man to stir, getting to his feet and looking down on the fallen Steve Austin. Christian gestures with his hands that he’s done with Austin and begins looking under the ring yet again…
King: These guys have beaten the hell out of each other; what could they possibly have left?
It doesn’t take Christian long to find what he was looking for, bolt cutters. Christian stumbles over towards the Cell door before taking the bolt cutters and destroying the steel lock that was designed to keep the competitors inside. Austin is just now to and sees the same thing that we’re seeing; Christian’s leaving the Cell. Christian sees that a pissed off Rattlesnake has spotted him, so he rushes out of the cage, but has nowhere to go. Austin makes his way towards the Cell door and Christian realizes that the only place he can go is up; so Christian leaps onto the outer wall of the Cell and begins climbing towards the top…
Cole: And Christian is scaling the Cell!
Austin leaves the Cell; barely missing Christian. Austin looks up as Christian reaches almost the half-way point of the Cell before he begins climbing it himself…
King: And Austin is going after him!
Christian looks down and sees Austin chasing him, so his ascends the Cell even faster. Not to be outdone, the Rattlesnake starts climbing quicker as well and it’s only a matter of a few short moments until Christian is up on the top of the Cell. Christian prepares for Austin and as the Rattlesnake reaches the top, Christian delivers right hand that staggers Austin…
Cole: Both of these superstars need to be very careful!
Austin almost loses his footing and falls of the side of the Cell, but he is able to save himself. Austin counters back with a right hand of his own, which sends Christian towards the center of the Cell. Austin continues to throw haymakers at Christian, which stagger Captain Charisma and allow Austin to lift Christian off his feet and slam him on top of the steel structure with a spinebuster. Christian grabs his back in pain as Austin grabs him by the arm and drags him towards the middle of the top of the cage…
King: I don’t like what Austin’s got planned.
Christian may be out of it. Austin lifts Christian to a knee before placing Christian’s head between his legs and wrapping his arms around Christian’s waist…
Cole: Oh No! This Can’t be good!
King: Don’t do it Steve!
Austin attempts to lift Christian up, but Christian blocks. This just motivates the Rattlesnake even more and he tries to hoist Christian in the air, but once again, Christian manages to block. Austin quickly delivers a few shots to Christian’s back before trying to lift him again, but this time Christian is able to counter. Christian uses what remaining upper body strength he has to back body drop Austin. Austin lands on the Cell’s weak spot and the force from the back body drop is enough to send Austin through the top of the cage and to the mat 20-feet below him…
King: OH MY GOD!!
Cole: We need help out here!
Steve Austin just fell through the top of the Hell in A Cell structure and to the mat below. The force of the fall actually breaks the ring mat. The camera cuts to the indentation of an unconscious Stone Cold Steve Austin lying in a big hole that was created by his own body. The entire arena becomes silent and looks on as their hero lies motionless in the ring.
King: We seriously need the EMTs out here!
On the top of the cage, even Christian looks down on Steve Austin with the smallest shed of remorse. Christian stares blankly at Austin’s body caved into the canvas. Inside the ring, the referee checks on Austin and decides that enough is enough and signals for the bell.
Justin Roberts: Ladies and Gentlemen, the referee has decided to stop this match. So here is your winner; Christian!
“Just Close Your Eyes†plays again, but nobody bothers to react. Everyone stares at Steve Austin. Medical officials bring the stretcher out an open the cage door, preparing to tend to Austin. All the while, Christian stands on the top of the Cell, never taking his eyes off Austin or the hole that his body lies in.
UWF Survivor Series November 25th said:JR: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for the World Heavyweight Championship match. John Cena will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against both Jeff Hardy and Edge.
Piper: That’s right Ross. And with the personal animosity between Hardy and Edge, all Cena has to do is let those two destroy each other and he can pick the bones.
JR: Now, Roddy! You know that’s not Cena’s gameplan. Our World’s Champion is a fighting Champion and if he’s going down, he’s going down swinging!
Lillian Gracia: The following contest is a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship!
As soon as Lilian finished the sentence, to the delight of the UWF universe, music of one of the most controversial superstar in UWF hist the arena ...

The Enigma runs down and slides in the ring, and bombs straight up the turnbuckle to pose like only he can. He jumps back off and gets ready for the match, while Lilian introduces him ...

Jeff throws up the "guns" again as the fans cheer like crazy, when ...

Rated R Superstar, Edge walks out and the boos from the crowd almost drown out the music
He simply smiles as the boos rain down on him. He makes it down to the middle of the ramp and does his signature pose.
He makes his way down to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. Edge throws away his T-shirt as both men are looking at each other, straight into the eyes ...
Lilian Garcia: And his opponent ... from Toronto, Ontario, weighting 241 pounds ... The Rated R Superstar ... Edge!
"BRRRRR - RAPIDOOOO!"

John Cena’s entrance music blares out of the speakers, and the crowd bursts in thunderous cheers! All of a sudden, the former World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena makes his way out onto the stage, which is a pleasure from the U.W.F. Universe. John Cena has a slight grin across his face, and isn’t as hyped up as he usually is. John Cena looks into the camera and salutes before meeting the end of the stage. John Cena springs forward and slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp. John Cena nods his head at his “CeNation†members as he continues his journey to the ring. John Cena slides into the ring, reflects from the ropes for a few times and then throws his cap into the crowd. Cena then continues, as he takes off his T-shirt and throws it on the other side of the arena. Cena then goes into a corner and looks straight in Mysterio's eyes ...
Lilian Garcia: And his opponent, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighting 251 pounds , he is the World Heavyweight Champion... Joooohn Ceeenaaaa!!
The referee holds up the World Heavyweight Championship as all three men stand in respective corner. Edge is the first to move to the center of the ring, looking at the title as the official holds it high in the air. As Edge looks on, he snatches the title out of the referee’s grasp and immediately turns it on John Cena, knocking the Champion directly in the face with the Championship belt…
JR: And the match hasn’t even officially begun and Edge is already taking cheapshots!
Piper: He’s the Ultimate Opportunist for a reason Ross. Blame Cena for not seeing that one coming.
The shot from the Championship is enough to knock Cena through the middle rope and to the floor. The official calls for the bell and this World Championship bout is officially underway.
JR: And now we can decide a World’s Champion!
As the bell sounds, only Jeff Hardy and Edge stand in the ring. The history between these two needs no retelling. The two men stare each other down momentarily in the center of the ring before Edge acts first, throwing a right hand that connects soundly with Hardy’s jaw. Jeff is quick to respond as he throws a right hand of his own. Back and forth the two exchange right hands until Edge catches Hardy off guard with a boot to the midsection. This doubles Hardy over and allows Edge to run the near ropes before delivering a Million Dollar Knee Lift to the side of Hardy’s head. This sends the Charismatic Enigma to the canvas where Edge goes for the first cover of this Championship match…

2…
Hardy kicks out!
As Edge gets to his feet, he watches as Jeff Hardy tries to push himself off the mat. The Rated R Superstar decides to run the ropes again, but as he does, John Cena pulls them down and Edge tumbles from the inside of the ring to the floor. Edge’s head hits the arena floor hard and John Cena goes right on the attack. Cena lifts Edge off the floor and now he and Edge engage in a similar exchange of right hands that Hardy and Edge just did…
JR: Nonstop action from these men to start the match!
Piper: Watch for Hardy!
As soon as Piper finishes his sentence, Jeff Hardy comes from nowhere and leaps off the top rope, taking both Edge and Cena down with a plancha. Hardy gets to his feet and the fans cheer for him as he grabs Edge off the floor and throws him back into the ring. Hardy climbs onto the apron before using it as a springboard and delivering a leg drop to the back of Edge’s head. Hardy turns Edge over and goes for another cover…
1…
2…
Cena pulls Hardy off Edge and outside the ring!
JR: All three men seem to have the same idea; take one man out of the equation and turn it into a one on one match.
Cena slides back into the ring and Hardy soon follows. For the first time in this match, all three men are in the ring at the same time. Given their history, Jeff Hardy goes right after Edge. The Rated R Superstar backs into a corner in a seated position and Jeff Hardy begins stomping the life out of him. Hardy lets loose on Edge, and it shows on the Rated R Superstar’s chest. Cena has seen enough and pulls Hardy out of the way before beginning to beat of Edge himself. Cena stomps away at the Ultimate Opportunist until Jeff Hardy pulls Cena off of him…
JR: And here we go! The inevitable matchup between Cena and Hardy is here!
Things between Hardy and Cena seem ready to explode when out of nowhere, Edge pushes Hardy in the back. Hardy falls into Cena, which knocks him to the canvas and Edge rolls Hardy up from behind…
1…
JR: The Ultimate Opportunist strikes again!
2…
Hardy kicks out!
Cena gets back involved in the fray, charging at both Hardy and Edge as they get to their feet and taking both down with a dual clothesline. Edge stays down as Jeff Hardy gets back to his feet and Cena catches him with a swift kick to the stomach before throwing Hardy’s arm over his shoulder and performing a Fisherman’s suplex. The World Champion floats over and covers Hardy…
1…
2….
Edge dives in and breaks up the count!
Cena and Edge both get back to a vertical base and it’s Edge who acts first, striking Cena with a boot to the gut before applying a front face lock and hoisting Cena off the canvas and connecting with the Edgecution DDT! Before Edge can go for a cover, Jeff Hardy leaps off the top rope and delivers an elbow right into Cena’s heart…
JR: Bah Gawd! Where did Jeff Hardy come from?
Piper: Those damn spot monkeys come at you from every angle!
After landing on top of Cena, Hardy rolls backwards on top of the Champion and goes for the cover…
1…
2…
Edge breaks the pin up!
Edge quickly throws Hardy to the side and hops on top of Cena, covering him for himself…
1…
2…
Cena kicks out!
JR: And the Champion is on the ropes!
Cena rolls to the far side of the ring and into the corner. Cena pulls himself to his feet as Jeff Hardy stands tall on the opposing side of the ring. Edge stands in between Hardy and Cena and the Rated R Superstar and the Charismatic Enigma exchange a look. Edge nods and drops to all fours. Hardy runs towards the corner where Cena is standing and uses Edge as a springboard to propel himself into the air…
JR: Poetry in Motion!
Jim Ross is almost correct. As Hardy hangs in midair, Cena pushes himself out of the corner and takes the midair daredevil out with a clothesline. As Cena takes Hardy out, Edge gets back to his feet. Edge attempts to clothesline Cena, but the World Heavyweight Champion ducks under it and runs the near ropes coming back at Edge, hitting a running shoulder block. Edge hits the canvas but gets right back up only to eat another running shoulder block from Cena. Once again, Edge is quick to his feet and tries another clothesline. Cena ducks under and lifts Edge off his feet before bringing him down with a spinout powerbomb…
Piper: Dear Lord! The five moves of doom have struck again!
Cena gets to his feet and throws his right arm in the sky. Half the arena cheers and half the arena boos. But all of them know what’s coming next. The Boston crowd starts a “Let’s Go Cena†and a “Cena Sucks†chant as Cena reminds Edge that he can’t see him and runs the near ropes before delivering the patented Five Knuckle Shuffle. Edge grabs his forehead as Cena begins stalking him. The Rated R Superstar pulls himself to his feet and Cena quickly spins him around, lifting him up in a Fireman’s Carry position…
JR: Could it be the Attitude Adjustment?
John Cena seems poised to deliver his finishing move when Jeff Hardy reenters the fray and delivers a big boot to Cena’s stomach. This allows Edge to slide down Cena’s back and grab Cena by the neck and slam him down with the Edge-O-Matic. Cena grabs his head as Edge grabs his legs and stacks him up for a cover…
1…
2…
Hardy breaks the cover up!
JR: And Jeff Hardy saves the match yet again!
As Edge gets off Cena, he gets right into Hardy’s face. The two exchange words as Edge says Hardy continues to be a thorn in his side while Hardy says he wants the World Championship for his creatures. While all of this transpires, the World Heavyweight Champion has gotten back to his feet and delivers a standing dropkick to the back of Edge. Edge runs into Hardy and the two butt heads. Hardy goes down and Edge drops to a knee. Cena quickly capitalizes, grabbing Edge and hoisting him onto his shoulders before powering him down onto the canvas…
JR: Attitude Adjustment!
Cena hits his tried and true finishing move before going for a cover on Edge, hooking both legs…
1…
2…
Edge kicks out!
Piper: The Canadian kicked out!
Cena gets back to his feet and throws up his salute sign. He plans on giving Edge another Attitude Adjustment. Cena grabs the limp body of Edge, throwing him onto his shoulders again…
JR: Another one?
Edge throws right hands into the side of Cena’s skull. This causes Cena to drop Edge and the Rated R Superstar slides down the Champions’ back again. Edge knows what he needs to do. He drops back a few steps and Cena turns around to go back on the offensive and Edge hits him with a massive Spear. The arena erupts in cheers as Edge hits his finishing move and lies backwards on top of Cena, hooking the leg…
1…
JR: New Champion!!
2…
Out of nowhere, Jeff Hardy soars off the top and lands on top of both competitors with a Swanton Bomb!
Piper: Swanton!
The force knocks Edge off Cena and Jeff Hardy quickly covers the Champion, hooking both legs…
1…
2…
JR: No way!
3…
Lillian Garcia: Here is your winner and the NEW UWF World Heavyweight Champion; Jeff Hardy!
JR: Jeff Hardy is the World Heavyweight Champion; what a match!
Survivor Series said:Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for a very personal match up. Over the course of the past few weeks, The Rock has been attacking Mick Foley. Rock claims that Mankind has been using his name in order to gain some form of celebrity. It has led us to this match right here.
Justin Roberts: The following bout is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from the Boiler Room, weighing in at 275 pounds, Mankind!

The theme music of the very deranged Mankind begins to play and the light turn a shade of hue blue. From the back walks Mankind. Resembling something of a Notre Dame esque creature, Mankind walks down the ramp as the fans give him a mixed reaction. Mankind ignores them as he makes his way down the ramp with Paul Bearer in the background screaming "YES" the entire time. Mankind continues to stagger down the ramp until he reaches the bottom and rolls into the ring and waits for his opponent.
Roberts: And his opponent, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 265 pounds; The Rock!!
.....is cookin'

The Hollywood theme music of The Great One begins to play and out he saunters onto the stage to a reaction of huge boos from the fans. The Rock doesn't care though. All he cares about is the task at hand. He walks down the ramp, talking trash the entire time. Rock soon reaches the bottom of the ramp before climbing the steel steps an onto the ring apron where he climbs the top turnbuckle and performs his trademark pose to boos from all the fans.
The Rock jumps down from the turnbuckle and waits for the match to start.
Ding Ding Ding
The bell rings and this extremely intense contest between The Rock and Mankind has begun.
Cole: And The Rock appears to be in great shape.
King: Whether you like The Rock or not, he’s already ready to go.
The two lock up and it’s The Rock pushing Mankind backwards onto the near ropes and grabbing him by the arm, Irish whipping Mankind to the far side of the ring. Mankind runs the ropes and comes back at Rock, who lowers his head. Mankind sees The Rock and counters this by putting the brakes on and delivering a stiff right boot to the chest of The Rock. The force behind Mankind’s blow is enough to send Rock’s head back into the air and Mankind responds by running off the near set of ropes and taking Rock down with a short arm clothesline. This sends “The People’s Champion†to the canvas where Mankind goes for the first cover of the match….

Rock rolls a shoulder!
As soon as The Rock kicks out, Mankind gets off him before running off the ropes again and delivering a standing knee drop. Mankind wastes no time following this up with another cover…

Rock kicks out!
Cole: And Mankind shows persistent in the early stages of this match!
King: It’s going to take more than that to keep The Rock down.
Mankind grabs The Rock by the head after the kick out and attempts to lift him to his feet. From a knee, The Rock throws a right hand directly into Mankind’s stomach. This backs Mankind up, creating enough space for The Rock to deliver another right hand to Mankind’s midsection. The Rock now makes it to a vertical base and the right hands move from the midsection to the face of Mankind. The sheer force of the blows back Mankind up into the nearest corner, where The Rock continues to deliver the piston like rights. One after another, the right hands connect. After the ninth right hand to Mankind, The Rock takes a step back and takes the time to pantomime spitting on his hand before looking to deliver another fist. The Rock has taken too much time engaging in this disrespectful yet meaningless task, and as he looks to deliver, Mankind explodes out of the corner and delivers a running shoulder block right to The Rock. The People’s Champion goes to the canvas but not for long as he almost immediately gets back to his feet. But as soon as The Rock does, Mankind performs a swinging neckbreaker, bringing the People’s Champion right back to the canvas. Mankind follows this up with another cover…

Rock kicks out!
King: Mankind has been all over The Rock so far!
After Rock’s recent kick out, Mankind grabs Rock yet again and lifts him to his feet. Rock is almost out on his feet from Mankind’s offensive flurry. Mankind throws Rock into the nearby corner and takes a few steps backwards towards the center of the ring. Mankind charges right back towards Rock, looking for a splash of some sort. At the last second before collision, The Rock sidesteps Mankind and runs to the far side of the ring. As he comes back at Mankind, The Rock leaves his feet and delivers a huge diving forearm to Mankind. This sends the weird man to the canvas and The Rock goes for the cover…

Mankind kicks out!
Rock coolly gets back to his feet and raises his right boot over Mankind’s downed body before delivering a hard stomp right to Mankind’s side. Mankind grunts out of frustration as The Rock delivers another hard stomp as Mankind turns over onto his stomach. This doesn’t stop The Rock as he continues to stomp on Mankind’s back and spine. The fury and rapid nature of these stomps cause Mankind to roll under the near bottom rope and onto the ring apron….
Cole: And now The Rock is in control!
Mankind manages to pull himself to his feet on the ring apron. This does not stop Rock however as The People’s Champion continues to unload with big time right hands. Rock finally has the opportunity to cock back and spit on his right hand again and this time he connects with Mankind’s skull. This sends Mankind flying off the apron and he crashes head and back first into the ring barricade…
King: Oh! Mankind just took a huge fall.
Mankind lies on the arena floor, grabbing his neck and head in obvious pain. The Rock wastes no time leaving the ring and going right after Mankind. Rock talks some trash like only The Rock can before grabbing Mankind off the floor by the hair and dragging him towards the steel ring steps. Rock looks Mankind directly in the eyes before slamming Mankind’s head down hard on the steel steps. Steel meets flesh and just like every other time steel wins. Rock doesn’t let up as he quickly repeats the process, slamming Mankind down onto the steps yet again. As Mankind’s skull bounces off the steel, Rock quickly throws him back into the ring before following suit and going for another pinfall…

Mankind kicks out!
Cole: After hitting the steps that many times, I’m surprised Mankind was able to kick out!
Rock gets back to his feet and begins to stalk Mankind. The Rock becomes coiled; he’s only got one thing on his mind. Rock watches as Mankind does everything he can to get to his feet, and as he does, Rock quickly spins him around, wrapping his arm around Mankind’s chest, placing him in perfect position….
King: It may be time for The Rock Bottom!
Just like everyone else in the arena, Mankind knows what’s coming. He responds by elbowing Rock directly in the side of the head. This causes Rock to abandon the move and turn his back to Mankind momentarily. Rock quickly gets his head back in the game though and goes back on the attack, charging at Mankind. Foley is ready for this and catches Rock as he charges in and delivers a standing hip toss which sends the Rock to the canvas. Mankind isn’t finished as he quickly follows this up with an Ultimate Warrior like running splash, landing hard on top of The Rock. Mankind then grabs both of Rock’s legs, hooking them for good measure…

Rock kicks out!
As Mankind gets back to his feet, he watches as The Rock pushes himself to his. Mankind quickly grabs Rock by the arm and Irish whips him off towards the far ropes. Rock is able to counter and sends Mankind jettisoning towards the ropes instead. As Mankind comes back towards The Great One, Rock lowers his head and hoists Mankind onto his shoulders before delivering a Samoan Drop. Mankind’s head and back hits the canvas hard as Rock reaches back and covers Mankind…

Mankind kicks out again!
Cole: And The Rock just can’t seem to keep Mankind down!
Rock gets to his feet after yet another Mankind kick out. He takes a few steps away from his opponent, creating enough distance between the two combatants. As Mankind pulls himself to his feet, Rock charges towards Mankind. Foley is ready for him though and as Rock comes towards him, Mankind wraps both arms around Rock’s waist and performs a spinning belly to belly suplex before covering The Rock yet again…

Rock kicks out!
After yet another of Rock’s kick outs, Mankind staggers back to his feet; The Rock on the other hand is feeling the effects of this match. Mankind looks out into the Boston crowd, who give him a positive response. Foley can only smile as he turns his attention back towards The Rock. Rock is gingerly picking himself off the canvas as Mankind looks prepared to strike. Rock is unaware that Mankind has positioned himself behind him. Rock is soon to find out though as he staggers around into the waiting arms of Mankind, who quickly puts both his index and ring fingers into Rock’s mouth…
Cole: Mandible Claw!
Mankind’s got the Mandible Claw applied to The Rock. The Rock tries to fight it, but Mankind’s got it locked in. Rock’s arms flop around as he looks for some way to counter this. It is to no avail though as Mankind has this submission applied extremely well. The Rock begins to show signs of fading. His movement becomes slower and slower and The Rock’s eyes begin to roll into the back of his head…
King: It looks like the Rock may be going out!
The Rock drops to a knee and his movement comes to a complete stop. The referee goes to Rock and grabs his arm, raising it in the air and releasing it. Everyone in the arena watches as The Rock’s arm falls for the first time….
Cole: That’s one check by the official. The Rock has two more times to respond or this match is over!
The official goes to The Rock and raises his arm again. And for the second time in this match, it falls to the ground…
King: That’s two! Mankind may have put The Rock out!
The official raises Rock’s arm for the third and possibly final time in this match. The referee releases it and just as it seems to be coming down, it stops in midair!! There’s still life in The Rock. The Great One tries to find the energy to keep going. He still sits on one knee, trapped in this tight submission. Mankind tries to apply more pressure when out of nowhere, Rock places his free arm under Mankind and lifts himself off the canvas from his knee, hoisting Mankind up in the air and slamming him down hard onto the mat with a huge Rock Bottom!!!
Cole: Rock Bottom!
Mankind grabs his head and neck as they whiplash off the canvas. Rock doesn’t move, instead he leaves his arm draped over Mankind’s body and the referee counts the pinfall…

3…NO!!! Mankind kicks out at 2 ½
King: What?!
The roof almost explodes off the place. Mankind kicked out of The Rock Bottom!
Rock pushes himself off the mat and looks towards the referee. The official responds by holding up two fingers, letting Rock know that it was only a two count. The Rock continues to stare the official down before pretending to jump at him. This scares the official and forces him to leap through the middle rope and to the outside…
Cole: That’s how intimidating The Rock is!
Rock turns his attention back to Mankind and looks to lift him off the mat. But as he does, Mankind is quick to deliver a low blow, which obviously does damage to The Rock.
King: The People’s Jewels!
Still on the outside, the official never saw the low blow. He slides back into the ring just as Mankind cradles both of Rock’s arms and delivers a Double Arm DDT. Rock’s skull spikes off the canvas as Mankind turns him over and goes for a cover…

Cole: Mankind’s going to steal one!
3…NO! Rock kicks out!
Mankind can’t believe it! He begins to pull his hair out of frustration. Mankind pulls himself to his feet and looks down on The Rock, noticing that he is slap dab in the middle of the ring. A sick smile forms on Mankind’s face as he kicks Rock in the shoulder, making sure that he’s body is perfectly aligned…
King: You don’t think?
Cole: See, Rock was right! Mankind’s a thief!
Mankind pulls off an imaginary arm band before throwing it into the stands. Mankind mocks The Rock’s mannerisms before running off the right set of ropes. Foley comes back at The Rock before leaping over him and running the left set of ropes. Foley’s not the fastest runner, so when by the time he runs off those left set of ropes, The Rock has kicked up off the mat and to his feet and as Mankind is running in, Rock lifts him off his feet and delivers a spinebuster. The ring shakes as The Rock quickly runs to the top of Mankind’s body and makes sure that Mankind is now the one in position…
Cole: Nothing better than the original!
Rock quickly throws his armband off before throwing his hands out in ridiculous fashion. He runs off the far ropes, hopping over Mankind and running off the left ropes before coming back and delivering the People’s Elbow to Mankind!
King: People’s Elbow!
After hitting the People’s Elbow, Rock goes for another cover and the win…

Cole: No way!
Rock can’t believe it. Just to be sure, he covers Mankind again…

Mankind kicks out!
King: Mick Foley will not die!
The Rock gets back to his feet and gets into the referee’s face. The official tells Rock that it was only a two yet again and The Rock demands that he count faster. The official lets the Rock know that he’s doing his job the way he was trained. The Rock doesn’t want to hear it. The two continue their debate until Mankind crushes The Rock with an Avalanche Splash from behind. The force from Mankind’s body weight causes The Rock to collide with the referee, crushing him in the corner. The referee falls to the mat as Mankind quickly spins an off guard Rock around, kicking him in the stomach before planting him with another Double Arm DDT. Rock’s skull bounces off the mat and Mankind goes for another cover…
Cole: Mick! There’s no referee!
Although there is no official, that doesn’t stop the crowd from counting along…

Mankind soon realizes that there is no count. He gets off The Rock and attempts to revive the official. Mankind shakes the ref, but it’s to no avail. He taps and prods the referee, but nothing is coming off it. Mankind comes to the conclusion that for right now, this is a lost cause; so he turns his attention back to The Rock. Mankind looks to pick Rock off his knee when out of nowhere Rock hoists Mankind up and delivers another Rock Bottom!
King: Rock Bottom again! That’s it!
Knowing that the official is still down, Rock doesn’t go for a cover. Instead, the drained Great One staggers over to the far corner where he drops to a knee with his face towards the turnbuckle. The official is out, Mankind is down and The Rock has his back to the ring. Rock does everything he can to catch his breath, still not paying attention to what’s going on. With The Rock’s back to the ring, he’s unaware to see someone slide into the ring…
Cole: What’s D’Angelo Dinero doing out here!
The General Manager of RAW slides into the ring on the opposing side of The Rock. Rock has his back to Dinero, so he is unaware that Pope is in the ring. Dinero looks at Mankind, who is down, then looks to the referee, who is down as well. Dinero then turns his attention to The Rock. D’Angelo Dinero did not forget what The Rock did to him on the last edition of RAW. Dinero will never forget. A sick smile forms on Dinero’s face as he runs out of his corner and towards The Rock, leaving his feet as The Rock picks himself up with his back still to Dinero. Dinero attacks quick and drives both of his knees into The Rock’s spine…
Cole: D’Angelo Dinero Express to The Rock!!!
King: It must be payback for that Rock Bottom last week!
The Rock screams in pain as he grabs his back and falls to the canvas. Dinero shakes his head before mocking the People’s Eyebrow and grabbing Mankind by the arm. Dinero drags Mankind on top of The Rock before grabbing the referee, who is finally coming to and throws him into position. All the official sees is Mankind on top of The Rock, so he begins to count…
