Re: UWF Tuesday Night Raw September 4th Card

A quick update.

Raw should be up within the hour, barring any setbacks.

I hope you all enjoy it because apparently this episode creates a little controversy. But hey, controversy creates cash lol

UWF Tuesday Night Raw September 4th Edition

UWFRAW.png

Tuesday September 4th, 2012

The pyro to kick off the show explodes throughout the arena as the excited UWF Universe jump to their feet and cheer for the start of the show. The arena is packed to the rafters as many fans have brought along various types of signs. The cameras spin around the UWF arena showing a jammed pack arena, then go down to Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler!

michael_lawler_2.jpg

Michael Cole: Good evening everyone and welcome to anoter exciting edition of UWF Tuesday Night Raw. As always, I am the "Voice of UWF" Sir Michawls Cole and to my right is wrestling legend, Jerry "The King" Lawler. And King, do we have a show planned for these people or what?

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That's right Cole. Tonight our show will be headlined by Stone Cold Steve Austin defending the UWF Championship against the man many believe was going to leave Summerslam as Champion if it weren't for Cody Rhodes; Chis Jericho!

Cole: That's not all King, Tonight, we wil all bear witness to the in-ring debuts of Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle. Perhaps wo of the greatest superstars in history and they're both on Raw.

King: But right now, we starts our show with out esteemed General Manager; Theodore Long. All week, Long has been promising something that will forever change the face of Tuesday Night Raw, let's see if he delivers.

"MacMillitant" starts playing and out walks Theodore Long on the stage. He has a certain ook about him this evening. There is no dancing tonight, no messing around. On this stage, Theodore Long is all business. He quickly power walks down the ramp, before reaching the steel steps and climbing each one wih a purpose. Long slowly walks across the ring apron before stepping through the middle ropes and entering the ring. A ringside tech quickly hands Long a microphone so that the General Manager can speak his peace.

teddylong.jpg

Theodore Long:Good evenin' plaas and playettes. As 'ya all know, I've been runnin' his show for months now. And throughout my entire tenure as General Manager, I've seen alot of things. I've seen people come and I've seen people go. I've seen new Champions crowned and I've sadly seen people retire. It happens, it's part of the business. But throughout all of it, no matta how disappointed I was, I kept my mouth shut, 'cause it was good for business. 'Ya feel me? But while I kept my mouth shut, I watched as some of my "superstars" refused to do the same. I sat back and watched as CM Punk dropped Pipe Bomb after Pipe Bomb. I watched as "Stone Cold" Steve Astin decided to "shoot" on everything under the sun, from brands to talent to even officials. So tonight, I'm going to take a page out of their book. Tonight, it's my turn to "shoot" playas.

The fans don't exactly know what's going to happen next, but who can say no to a good shoot. They all sit back patiently and wait to see what's going to happen.

Long: April 24th, the new regime began. All of 'ya were beggin' that UWF not die like UCW did. UWF did almost fare the same fate as UCW though, ironically at the hands of the same man. The ball was dropped and when UWF needed 'ya the most, none of 'ya were there. When UWF needed savin', none of 'ya raised 'ya hand. Had UWF died that day, none of 'ya would have cared. 'Ya would have just went somewhere else like CWF or GZW. Yet 'ya all claim that 'ya love this company. Nobody loves this federation more than I do. I look at it now as opposed to where it once was and I take pride in each and every accoplishment that occurs. While some people, like Daniel Bryan only seem to care about what happens to them, I care about the product as a whole. Whether it be Raw, Smackdown, NXT, I'm never more than a message away and I'm there to help. And do 'ya know what that dedication gets me? It gets me complaints that some of the matches don't run long enough. It gets me people like Randy Orton, who claim that they're here to help but only show up once in a blue moon. It gets me people like Christian, who disappear after literally being handed the keys to success. It gets me a World Champion who wasn't sure he wanted to continue when he thought he was going to lose his Championship. But most of all, it gets me a giant headache. It gets me a headache 'cause no matter how much bullshit I put up wit' and put out a product that most of 'ya don't deserve, it still goes unappreciated. All of 'ya still do whatever the hell 'ya want. 'Ya stop showin' up and 'ya show up miminally and think that 'ya goin' be a success. I don't know how many times I've seen guys like Bray Wyatt over on Smackdown run his mouth over and over again about a match that he's got comin' up, but when it comes to a guy like Goldust, the gold freak has very little to say or shows up right before show time. And that in my eyes, is disrespectful. And I'm tired of it!

Long: But it's not just the wrestlers that are disrespectful. It's the boys in the back too. The Desmond Wolfes, who claim to be a man of the people. A man who listens to his roster. Do you want to know how much Desmond Wolfe cares about his roster? Ask John Cena. Becuase right before Summerslam, Desmond Wolfe was begging me to take John Cena off his hands because he didn't like the way Cena was preparing for his match against DiBiase. But Desmond Wolfe cares about UWF? How about Desmond Wolfe not wanting the "Deadbeat Father of UWF" to come back all because Wolfe is still hurt that Jeff Hardy was supposed to defeat Raven at Wrestlemania 4. So now the end result of having to lose that match has him holding a grudge. But 'ya all treat him as if he's a man of the people. Please. Desmond Wolfe looks out for his best interests. Always has. And the fact that when Steve Austin went to Smackdown, 'ya changed up his words, the same way 'ya tired to change mine proves it. The only reason he's ever been successful is because he's had Super Brawl Saturday carrying him. He's nowhere near as good as he portrays himself to be. Hall of Fame? You're in the Hall of Fame because they needed your services. Congratulations, 'ya traded 'ya dignity to be in the same Hall of Fame wit' people who 'ya can't stand. 'Ya are nothin' more than professional wrestlin's eqiuvalent of a prostitute.

Long: But throughout all of this, I stayed. When previous regimes would have packed it up and quit, I've remained. Until now! I've had enough. I jus' can't deal wit' this anymore. So wit' that, allow me to say that tonight is my last night as General Manager of Raw!

The crowd can't beleive it. The get in an uproar. Some fans start chanting "Please Don't Go" as Long begins speaking again.

Long: But don't worry, I have found a more than suitable replacement. He is a man who is like NXT's JBL in the sense that he is actually a UCW Legend. He is a man who unlike Desmond Wolfe is jus' as good as he says he is. And he is a man who without a shadow of a doubt will make Raw more "electrifyin'" than it's ever been before. All those things aside, this man has decided that he will not step into the General Manager role until September 25th. Because on that night, in three weeks time, Raw will hold it's own personal Supershow branded as "Clash of the Champions". Every title will be on the line on that night and the new General Manger will reveal himself. Until then, the UWF Board of Directors will deal wit' all Raw issues after tonight. I want to thank the people who actually have appreciated my hard work. It was a pleaure doin' this for all 'ya. And to the rest of 'ya, I'll see 'ya at the Outer Limits.

And with that, Theodore Long drops his microphone and exits the ring. The fans chant "Teddy" as he slowly makes his way up the ramp; knowing that his time in charge of Raw is coming to an end. This is where Raw goes to its first commercial.

HBK's music blasts throughout the arena and out comes HBK to a huge pop from the crowd

hbkreturns.jpg

HBK is all smiles as he sees the fans in excitement for the return of HBK. HBK then drops down to his knees and holds his arms in the air as his pyro goes off. HBK gets back to his feet and heads for the ring while slapping hands with the fans as he makes his way to the ring. As HBK heads inside the ring he does his famous pose in the center of the ring and heads over to the closest corner and climbs the middle turnbuckle and claps his hands for the reaction the fans gave him. HBK then hops off the turnbuckle and asks for a microphone

hbk1.jpg

HBK: Oh my what can I say. I want you to know from the bottom of my heart I really did try to stay away, but I just couldn't do it.

A huge "HBK, HBK" chant breaks out

HBK: How could I possibly leave all this. Really I gave it the ole' college try, but you got to understand this is very tough twenty plus years of doing this stuff, you can't just stop cold turkey. And besides gosh darnit I missed ya! I mean let's face it it was each and every one you who made this guy the headliner, the main event, Mr. WrestleMania. And as I miss sitting at home in San Antonio, I talked to wife Rebecca and she was the one who wanted me to come back more than I wanted to. I told no this is it for me because I don't want to be that guy that stands around too long, that doesn't know when to call it quits, whose past his prime and can't make it down the ramp and into the ring. But then she reminded me and showed me a clip of a match in the my last stint and she reminded me that I am no where near being done just yet and I can do this stuff still.

The crowd cheers as HBK pauses for a moment

HBK: But I told her the only way I come back is if it's done the right way. So I talked ot Hunter and as we all know Hunter is on Smackdown and I brought up a DX return and Hunter wasn't down with it as he's doing his own thing and I can understand that. So Teddy Long gave me a call and said Shawn, I want you on Raw and I do not care how much it costs or what it takes and so the deal was set for me to come back and to come back to the place I know best, Raw. It wasn't even about the money so much, I wanted to come back for the right reasons and my reasons are simple, I want to be the UWF World Champion. I have one last run in me and gosh darnit I am going after that title. I figure if I am coming back then I am coming back to win the big one, one last time.

The gives a huge pop for that response from HBK

HBK: So I started to think to myself...............

The familiar piece of music plays throughout the arena, as the fans get to their feet. They jump excitably, realizing that the one and only Olympic Gold medalist was about to show his face to the UWF universe. He steps out from beneath the curtains, his head down... wearing a jacket with a hood that covers his head. He steps to the stage, his head never moving... soaking in the emotion that comes from the fans in the UWF. He stays there for a few seconds, as the pyros erupt around him and he succumbs to the cheers that solidify his return to the UWF.

Angle.png

Kurt puts his hands down as the pyros dissipate... his smirk never leaving his mouth. He continues his trek downwards, walking down the ramp and his eyes scanning the crowd for the signs and tell tale signs that they recognized his return coming a miled away.

3eh60f2zis7brvd5.jpg

Kurt takes off the jacket, revealing that he has an American flag wrapped around himself, coating himself in not only warmth but in American pride and spirit. He continues down the ramp... letting go of the flag and readying himself for the action that's about to take place in the ring.

tumblr_m59g89lKOW1rsccs1o1_250.png

Seeing none, realizing the surprise at hand... his smirk grows to an unstoppable rate as he reaches the ring... grabbing a microphone as he jumps up the steps that lead to the squared circle.

b80om0.jpg

Kurt circles the ring once, holding his microphone with two hands. He leans into the microphone and begins to address the crowd... telling his reason for his arrival... and his plans while he's out here.

Kurt Angle:
Nobody in their right mind gives a damn about what you think! I know what you think, you think you can waltz on out here just like you always do and get these people eating out of the palm of your hand. You think that since you saw Kurt Angle, the greatest wrestler in the entire world; Not the country, not the state, not the county... the world, Shawn... that you can try and steal my spotlight. You're going to try and dance around, praise Jesus and kick people down the throat. But guess what? It's not going to happen. I'm here to nip that right in the bud, bud! Yeah, it's just like that Shawn.

Shawn scoffs at Kurt, putting a hand on his hip as he if can't believe that Kurt's even out here, feeling like Kurt has finally lost his mind. But Kurt doesn't stop, and he may just have lost his mind... so he continues.

Kurt Angle: Now, you're going to do the honorable thing for once in your life. You're going to pack your bags, head back on home to your ranch in Texas... and stay out of my way. For good. Are you listening to me... get out of my ring, before I make you!

Kurt stands in front of Shawn, waiting for him to motion to leave. Shawn doesn't move, which brings the tension higher.

rawcaps2011-812.jpg

HBK stares into the eyes of Kurt Angle before speaking again

HBK: Do not let facts stand in the way of the truth Kurt Angle. You still cannot stand the fact that sixteen years ago in 1996, the year you won the Olypmic Gold Medal, that all the talk was about me winning my first world title. You to this day cannot stand that I was the best wrestler of our generation. It has to still eat you alive for you to come out here on the night I return to the ring and interupt me. I'll tell you what, I'm not going home. I am staying right here tonight and will face Kofi Kingston. Maybe what you should do is go back to the dressing room, look in the mirror and realize this style of yours has been out for years. And I'm really no style expert, I mean look at me, but you need to realize that was then and this is well not then.

The crowd laughs while Kurt Angle doesn't like what he's hearing.

HBK: Listen I get it, you're not happy I am here, but the fact of the matter is I am back. It may be a long time since I been in the ring, but when you're the best at what you do, you don't forget how to do it. And still in this ring I am that much better than you. But personally I don't need to face Kofi tonight, you and I can settle this right here and right now if that's what you want.

HBK2_display_image.jpg

HBK drops his microphone and looks ready for a fight.

Kurt Angle:
You want a fight, Shawn boy? Huh? Is that what you want? Well I'm not going to give you... what you want! You want to mess with me, after all the good things I've done in my career? You want to try and steal my spotlight, ramble on about things that I don't give a freakin' crap about... go ahead. Because when the time is right, Shawn... I'm going to make you pay. And when the time is right, you're going to wish you stepped out of this ring when I told you to. You're going to wish that you listened to Kurt Angle, the Olympic HERO of this company. I'm going to snap you're ankle, Shawn... and I'm going to do it... when you least expect it.

HBK_vs_Kurt_Angle-30Minutes_Ir.flv%3Fasync

Kurt Angle begins to laugh, as he backs away from Shawn Michaels, who has put his hands up ready for a fight. Kurt rolls out of the ring, still laughing as he walks up the ramp. Shawn stares down at Kurt as he makes his way into the back, not realizing what Kurt really has plans for the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels.

HBK: You're going to attack me from behind, Kurt? Like a coward... like a snake in the grass! You want a piece of me, Kurt... I'm standing right here! You want a fight, I'm ready right now!

Kurt just shakes his head and laughs, as he disappears beneath the curtain.

Michael Cole: It looks like Kurt Angle is backing down from a fight, King.

King: You don't know Angle very well then, Cole... He's biding his time, he's going to strike like a cobra when he gets the first chance.

This video package contains exclusive footage from UWF Summerslam.

UWF Summerslam is over. A UWF Reporting team is running through the backstage, seeking for Superstar to share their thoughts about the event. Matt Striker runs right into The Cowboy, James Storm who lost to Robert Roode. Striker grabs The Cowboy by his shoulder and turns him around.

Matt Striker: Mister Storm!

Storm turns around and almost gets a heart attack.

xdvzlw.jpg

James Storm:
Oh gosh! What da' hell are 'ya doin', Matt?! Whatcha think, dat yer a freakin' ninja or what?

Matt Striker: Sorry Mister Storm, I just wanted to know your thoughts about our match tonight. You lost to Robert Roode.

James Storm: Thank 'ya captain obvious! What are ma' thoughts? I freakin' lost. Bobby found a way ta cheat his way out dat match 'cause he knew he'd lose ta' me! It doesn't matter, a loss is a loss and I can't take it back. Jus' look at me. I'm standin' here after da' semi-main event match a' Summerslam, Bobby almost broke ma' hand, he almost broke ma' back but I'm still standin' here, cowboyed up, ready ta' do one mo' round. I am who I say I am! 'Ya beat me da' fair way, a'right 'ya got me. 'Ya cheat yer way out, damn 'ya! Congratulations, 'ya proved yer nothin' mo' than jus' a coward. JBL came out and announced dat he will be da' GM of En Eks Tee. Like I freakin' care. 'Ya can be da' GM of erry' single brand in You Dubya Eff, dat's cool but 'ya can't jus' interfere in a match! JBL, Bobby...'ya two bastards cost me a match, congrats on dat one too. Now see who really lost...Bobby Roode 'ya knew dat if you'd beat me dis way. I would hunt 'ya down but 'ya did a smart move. 'Ya got yerself drafted ta' En Eks Tee. A brand fo' rookies and lame ass cunts! Dat's what dat brand always was and always will be! Yer over there wit' one victory...one freakin' victory but I'm still on RAW and I continue on makin' mo' money than 'ya do on En Eks Tee. You've beaten me but you've beaten yerself as well and soon you'll realise it!

Matt Striker sees that things are getting off the hook so he stops The Cowboy when he makes a little pause.

Matt Striker: Thank you Mister Storm. Now, after both Summerslam and your rivalry with Robert Roode are over, what is The Cowboy looking to do, looking to accomplish?

James Storm: Da' next thing I'm tryin' ta' put ma' hands on is a nice cold bottle a' beer but if 'ya mean career-wise then it's simple. I ain't lookin' ta' have great matches anymo'. It ain't ma' main intention. Dat was da' mistake I've made when I came here. I jumped head first into a rivalry with Bobby. I shouldn't do dat. If I would stay away from Bobby, I would probably be standin' here is Dee' United States Champion. But I'm a man a' ma word and at dat moment, I felt like jumpin' into a rivalry against Bobby. Now what's next fo' me? Dee' United States Championship, Dee' Undisputed Championship, Da' Hardcore Championship? 'Ya know, last week I said dat I'm goin' fo' Dee United States Championship but after I saw CM Punk lose tonight in dee Elimination Chamber match so I'ma leave him alone 'til he sets his mind where where it's supposed ta' be. I'm gunnin' for Da' Hardcore Title after I saw da' way Hawkins retained his title tanight. Dat lil' sucker thinks too much 'bout 'imself. Dis needs ta' stop and needs ta' stop really freakin' quick. Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta take care a ma'self if I don't wanna have ma hand damaged.

The Cowboy just leaves is about to leave but then he turn around and looks at the camera.

Oh, I forgot one thing...Curt Hawkins...SORRY, ABOUT YOUR DAMN LUCK!

The Cowboy finally leaves.

Matt Striker: Ladies and gentlemen, James Storm.

Fade.

Justin Roberts: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Leapers Fort, Tennesse, weighing in at 256 pounds, he is the "Cowboy" James Storm!

SORRY...ABOUT YOUR DAMN LUCK!

The fans fill the arena with cheers as the theme song of James Storm hits the PA system. The Cowboy is seen walking through the curtain with a beer bottle in one hand.

Hawkins emerges from the curtains in full ring gear; cane in hand, as he smirks. He proceed down the ramp past the fans as he climbs the steel steps, and enters through the middle rope. The crowd is still unsure of Hawkins who is making his UWF debut Championship Match here tonight. He lays his cane down in the corner, as the uses the ropes to stretch out, staring down the ramp awaiting his opponents. His music fades from the PA system.

Justin Roberts: Introducing their opponent, from Queens, New York, weighing in at 223 pounds, he is the U.W.F. Hardcore Champion, Curt Hawkins!

The bell rings and Storm immediately clotheslines Hawkins almost out of his boots. The Hardcore Champion goes to the canvas and Storm goes for the first cover of the night…

1…

2…

Hawkins kicks out!

Storm wastes no time, lifting Hawkins off the canvas and throwing him into a nearby corner. Storm soon follows suit, rushing the corner and driving all of the air out of Hawkins’ lungs with an Avalanche Splash. Hawkins’ body collapses to the canvas and James Storm backs away from the Champion, creating some distance between the two of them. Hawkins rests in a seated position in the corner and Storm charges right at him, driving his boot directly into Hawkins’ face. Hawkins’ body goes limp as Storm drags him out of the corner and covers him…

1…

2…

Hawkins kicks out!

Cole: The Hardcore Champion is in a bad way without a doubt!

Storm heads over to the far corner and begins “tuning†up the band. He’s ready to put Curt Hawkins away right now. The crowd comes alive with Storm and as Hawkins pulls himself up. Hawkins turns around and Storm flies out of the corner, looking for the Last Call Superkick, and he hits it, right on the bottom.

King: There it is!

Hawkins goes down like a sack of potatoes and Storm goes for the cover…

1…

2…

3…

Roberts: Here is your winner; “The Cowboy†James Storm!

r8YDJ.gif

“Longnecks and Rednecks†plays for the second time this evening and James Storm has his hand raised. Obviously, he’s not getting paid by the hour. He motions for the Hardcore Championship and exits the ring, heading up the ramp as Raw goes backstage.

The feed goes backstage where Grisham is standing in front of a door with a microphone in hand.

bhdhk.jpg

Todd Grisham: Ladies and Gentleman I am here to…attempt to reach someone for their thoughts on what occurred last Sunday at Summerslam…

Grisham looks at the door and lifts his hand up showing that it is trembling slightly before he lightly knocks on the door. Seemingly worried he waits for a response...but it doesn’t come…he takes a breath of relief wiping his forehead for a moment. He turns around and notices someone walking back, walking over to them quickly

Mr. Long could I have a quick word

Theodore Long: I was headed to my office but sure lay it on me playa.

Todd Grisham: I was wondering if perhaps you knew the whereabouts of Cody Rhodes.

Theodore Long: Actually Todd, I don’t. In fact I been trying to get in touch with him all week about him showing up on Raw tonight. Usually I can’t get that boy to shut his trap for one week, but this week he’s gone missing. Guess we should feel lucky right playa, well I got business to attend to if you’ll excuse me.

Long walks off screen as Grisham nods his head, he looks around before turning back to the camera

Todd Grisham: Well ladies and gentleman lets see if we can’t speak to anyone else around-

Grisham is cut off when suddenly the camera jolts down to the left to the ground, the feed goes black and there is a silence until the feed kicks in back in the arena with the announcers

Cole: Well it appears we were experiences some technical difficulties, but we'll be right back after these commercials.

====================

UWFNXTFirstBanner.png

====================

Cole: Ladies and gentleman it appears Todd Grisham is backstage once more and has fixed the technical difficulties, let’s go to him now.

the feed goes backstage showing nothing but an empty room, the camera swings around as if being picked up off of something. The camera points up at Rhodes face as he looks into it.

Cody Rhodes: I’m sorry but I need you all to bear with us, you see our camera man seems to have befallen with a sudden illness so we’re going to have to improvise and put this Camera up on something, but good ole Todd Grisham being the trooper that he is decided to go on with our little interview.

The camera swings around once more being placed on some sort of high equipment box, Grisham is sitting on a chair in front of the camera as Rhodes walks to him and sits on a chair next to him.

Cody Rhodes: Now

Rhodes cracks his neck

You had some questions for me Todd? hit me I’m all ears.

Grisham almost seems traumatized, but looks at Rhodes who seems completely calm about the matter, he takes a breath

Todd Grisham: I-I simply wanted to get your thoughts on what occurred last-

Cody Rhodes: Todd…do you think I’m crazy?

Grisham doesn’t know how to respond, Rhodes suddenly reaches for him and he flinches but Rhodes simply puts his arm around his head pulling him in to a side hug

Cody Rhodes: You don’t do you…but you do think I’m a little unbalanced right? I mean everyone thinks that…I read the reports I see the looks, hell even my fellow nWo members used to treat me just a tiny bit differently…No one thinks I’m Crazy they just think I’m a little out there. I was turned unbalanced Todd…

Grisham tries to pull free from Rhodes grip but can’t Rhodes just keeps talking

I didn’t want to be a little unstable I was made unstable by the way I was treated. But you know what always kept up the slack? What kept me grounded the knowledge of redemption. I was angry…angry at everyone…but I knew Summerslam was coming…I knew I was getting my championship shot…so I knew everything will be right with the world. Then my knee…my knee…would you like to see my new toy?

Grisham doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about and doesn’t know how to respond as Rhodes stands up and walks over to the camera, you see him go below the camera opening something up. He stands up straight holding up a knee brace

normal_121.jpg

This…this was given to me because of what happened to my knee. And now I get to have fun with it…because I can use what hurts me…to hurt others.

Rhodes sits down on the chair once more

Todd Grisham: Cody can I please just go…

Cody Rhodes: Go? No no no no Todd you can’t go,

Rhodes bends over placing the braces over his knee, even over the pants leg, strapping it on for no apparent reason as he continues to talk

Cody Rhodes: You see I need you to keep me company for the time being. Because I need you to make sure my message is sent loud and clear.

Todd Grisham: a-and what message is that?

Cody finishes with the brace dropping his hand on Grishams shoulder squeezing hard as he stands up making Grisham Stand up next to him.

Cody Rhodes: I've waited for my turn like a good boy all year Todd, sure I've hurt some people but I never hurt anyone they didn't put in front of me. They put me in matches and I hurt the people in those matches, and I waited for my chance. I've been a saint compared to what I've been wanting to do, and now it's time to let it out. I’m not waiting anymore Now I'm not going to wrestle matches, I'm not going to climb up the rankings ladder, I'm not even going to try and get that hallow moniker of Number one contender. Now what I'm going to do is simply hurt people, but it won't be Cody Rhodes hurting people no no no it will be those in charge. It will be their fault and they will be the only ones to blame and as a result will be the only ones that can stop it, for every week I don't get what I deserve someone has the potential of being hurt. Be it a superstar, be it a manager, be it a crew member, hell even an announcer...people will suffer for my suffering. This isn’t about this mask anymore, this isn’t about those in charge that screwed me before. This is about Right now, I was injured in a match that I was decisively in control of. And after that did you see the Raw preview hyping tonight's show, not one single mention of my Name… Chris Jericho the man who came back a couple weeks ago is fighting for the World championship while the man who has defeated every single world championship contender including the world champion himself isn’t even on the card…I’m tired of complaining and trying to open eyes with my words…Now I will forcefully open them, now I have my fun…I used to be unbalanced…but now I'd like to extend a big hearty congratulations to everyone, because now you can officially say Cody Rhodes …

Cody suddenly twist his body bringing up the knee brace to Grishams sternum causing him to double over in pain…he drops to his knees coughing and Rhodes just crouches down to his level with his head cocked to the side

shhhh the pain is only temporary...now you can all say Cody Rhodes…

Rhodes puts his hand forward lifting Grishams head up slightly so he can hear him

is a little bit crazy

Rhodes drives his head to the side of Grishams head hitting him with the mask with a sickening thud, as he drops down Cody begins to laugh. Moving his hand up touching his mask covered face as he does, his laughter becoming a little maniacal before the camera catches his eye. He tilts his head and suddenly becomes serious, he then smiles waving his hand hello.

Hi Teddy…hi Vinnie…hope you’re ready...haha…Cody Rhodes heheh…6…25

Rhodes stands up walking up and picking the camera up as his laughter echoes the camera shuts off and the feed goes back to the arena

Roberts: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from San Antonio, Texas, weighting in at 227 pounds; he is the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels.

"Sexy Boy" plays and out dances the one and only Shawn Michaels from the back. Good Old HBK just like the fans love him. Men want to be him, women want to be with him, but none the less, they all cheer for him. Michaels dances about halfway down the ramp before dropping to both knees to say a little prayer before speaking loudly to the heavens as the pyro goes off behind him. Michaels hops up off the steel and heads towards the ring where he enters and poses once more as his music fades.

Roberts: And his opponent, from West Ghana, Africa, weighing in at 220 pounds; Kofi Kingston!

Kofi Kingston’s theme song plays over the arena much to the delight of the capacity crowd. Kofi Kingston steps out onto the stage accompanied by Abraham Washington of. The duo walk down the entrance ramp, climb up the steel steps and get into the ring. Abraham grabs a mic that was laid out for him.

Michaels and Kingston circle each other as the bell rings. Kingston tries to go low on Michaels, looking for a quick takedown, but the Heartbreak Kid is able to sidestep him. That doesn’t stop Kingston from trying to go low on Michaels again, once more, to no avail. Michaels goes over towards a near corner and rests, feigning that Kofi Kingston is boring him. On the other side of the ring, Kofi becomes flustered and recklessly dives across the ring at Michaels. Once more, Michaels sidesteps Kingston and Kofi crashes face first into the turnbuckle pad. Michaels wastes no time, turning Kofi around and hitting him directly in the chest with a knife-edge chop. The crowd “Woos†in homage to the “Nature Boy†Ric Flair as Michaels cocks back and chops Kingston again. The chops came be heard echoing off Kingston’s chest throughout all of Nassau Coliseum. Michaels decides that he’s had enough of the chops and instead starts throwing right hands directly into Kingston’s face. AW is on the outside demanding that the referee admonish Michaels for throwing closed fists. Michaels grabs Kingston by the arm and Irish whips him towards the opposite turnbuckle, but mid-whip, Kofi is able to counter, sending Michaels flying towards the turnbuckle in his famous upside turnbuckle spot…

Cole: Vintage Michaels!

King: How is that vintage?

Michaels falls from the turnbuckle and turns right side up and back towards Kingston, who leaves his feet and kicks Michaels square in the face with a Missile Dropkick. The Heartbreak Kid goes down and Kingston goes for the first cover of the match…

1…

2…

Michaels kicks out!

Kingston looks towards the referee and tells him that he needs to count faster. The referee points to his shirt and tells Kingston to respect him. Kingston gets in the referee’s face before AW tells him to focus. Kingston heeds his manager’s words but turns around to another right hand from Michaels. This right backs Kingston onto the ropes, where Michaels once again grabs Kingston by the arm and Irish Whips him. Kingston once more reverses and Michaels bounces off the ropes instead. Michaels comes back at Kingston and leaves his feet, hitting Kingston directly in the face with a flying forearm. Both Kingston and Michaels like on the mat, but Michaels isn’t down for long as he kicks up from the canvas to his feet!

King: Now you can say Vintage Shawn Michaels.

Cole: Vinta—

King: No, once is enough!

Michaels is feeling it and ready to go. The crowd is pumped too. As Kofi Kingston gets to his feet, Michaels takes him down with a forearm shiver. Kingston may have gone down, but he gets right back up. Once up, he eats another forearm from Michaels, this time followed by an Inverted Atomic Drop. Kingston grabs his groin in pain as Michaels leaves his feet and performs a beautiful standing dropkick. Kingston goes down and Michaels makes his way over to the ring apron. He steps through the ropes and climbs to the top. Michaels says a quick prayer before leaping off the top, looking to drive his elbow right into the heart of Kofi Kingston. At the last minute, Kingston moves out of the way and Michaels hits nothing but canvas. Kofi Kingston gets to his feet and tells everyone that he outsmarted Shawn Michaels. Kingston then notices that Michaels has rolled near the far ropes and in his lying perfectly in position. Kingston runs off the near ropes and comes back at the downed Michaels before “Boom, Boom, Boomâ€, dropping a picture perfect Boom Drop on the Heartbreak Kid…

King: Boom Drop!

Cole: You know what usually comes next.

Kingston rests on a knee as he patiently watches Shawn Michaels. Kingston becomes clapping rhythmically as Michaels does everything he can to pick himself up. The Heartbreak Kid does indeed make it to a vertical base and Kofi Kingston goes right at him, leaving his feet and spinning in midair, looking for Trouble in Paradise…

King: Kofi’s looking for the buzzsaw.

Michaels sees it coming and is able to duck under. Kingston hits nothing but canvas as Michaels rolls towards the nearest corner. Michaels is standing tall as Kingston is down. Michaels looks out into the crowd and begins stomping his feet.

Cole: He’s tuning up the band!

Michaels’ stomping increases in speed and the fans begin clapping along. Everyone knows what’s coming. Kofi Kingston may not know, because he’s on the other side of the ring, holding his chest after hitting the canvas so hard. Michaels is raring to go and just as Kingston gets to his feet, AW gets up on the ring apron. Michaels sees this and immediately delivers Sweet Chin Music to the loudmouth manager, sending him to the floor…

Cole: Sweet Chin Music!

This gives Kingston the opening he needs; he looks to attack a distracted Michaels with a clothesline. The Heartbreak Kid sees it coming out the corner of his lazy eye and ducks under, and when Kingston turns around…

King: And one for Kingston too!

Shawn Michaels hits Kofi Kingston with Sweet Chin Music. Kingston drops to the canvas and Michaels goes for the win…

1…

2…

3…

Roberts: Here is your winner; “The Heartbreak Kid†Shawn Michaels.

220px-Shawn_Michaels_at_WrestleMania_XXIV.jpg

“Sexy Boy†plays again as Shawn Michaels gets to his feet. He has his arm raised by the referee in victory before rolling under the bottom rope and slapping hands with a few fans in the front row. Michaels points to them and says this is all for you as he walks to the back and Raw heads elsewhere.

Mankindlight-1.jpg

The camera cuts to some unknown area deep in the bowels of Nassau Coliseum; a room so dark and dank one can hardly see their way around. But the audience can make out a lone figure huddled in the corner, cradled in the only light available. The figure seems to be breathing erratically and notices our invasion into his solitude.

The figure speaks...

mankind2-1.jpg

What do you want from me? I'm not hurting anyone down here. I simply want to be left alone. But I suppose that's too much to hope for in this voyeuristic, Reality show, Big Brother society we live in. Everyone has to know what everyone else is up to. There are no secrets; nothing done in the shadows anymore. We get to air out dirty laundry on prime time where it can get neilson ratings and attract sponsors and advertisers. What was once treated in clinics and asylums are now a part of your viewing pleasure. It's part of your therapy. It makes you feel… normal.

19960401_foley-1.jpg

The figure turns into the light to reveal the face and mask of MANKIND, one of the several personalities of Mick Foley.

BUT YOU'RE NOT NORMAL!!! Your twisted and broken just like me!! But you wont admit it. And that's what keeps you sick. You see, I'm honest about my malady. I'm very comfortable with it. I admit that I'm sick and twisted and dangerous. So, of course, they pay me to wrestle. Yes, that makes oh, so much sense. So, I have to say, that it's you who need help. You who need a doctor. All of you who need to be locked up. Because if you call what I'm about to do 'entertainment'...then...

Mankind pulls a clump of hair out in a fit of something akin to rage or anxiety.

THEN YOU DESERVE WHAT YOU GET!! HAVE A NICE DAY!

At the sound of the shattering glass, thousands and thousands of fans are brought to their feet, cheering in unison, as the camera pans around the arena to get a shot of all of them. Many are seen with various signs dedicated to the Rattlesnake, while others are donning a variety of Austin memorabilia, and many of the fans belong to both groups. Just as it seems like they can't be anymore excited to be cheering for the Bionic Redneck again, out he comes from the backstage, stopping at the top of the stage with his UWF Championship over his shoulder, soaking it all in.

AUSTIN316.JPG

After a moment, Austin begins walking down the ramp towards the ring, making his way up the steel steps and along the apron, stepping over the middle rope and entering the ring. He signals for a microphone from the ringside officials and is granted one.

0.jpg

Stone Cold: This week, Chris Jericho made an accusation. Well, lemme rephrase that, he attempted to make an accusation that Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't care about anyone but himself. Well he's partially correct because there's lots of people and things that take a backseat ta' Stone Cold Steve Austin in my book, but believe me when I say that there is an exception, and it's each and every one a' you fans sitting in this arena and watching around the world tonight. Stone Cold cares about each and every one of ya, it's been a long road that we've been down together. Shatterin' glass. (What?) Raisin' hell. (What?) Defyin' authority. (What?) Drinkin' beer. (What?) Givin' one middle finger. (What?) Givin' the other middle finger. (What?) Givin' both middle fingers. (What?) Openin' cans of whoopass. (What?) Stompin' mudholes. (What?) Walkin' 'em dry. (What?) You've been with me through all of that, even when I was being a self-centered jackass and tellin' you all where you can get off at.

Ya'll wanna know how it feels ta' still be the You Dubya Eff Champion after all this time? It feels damn good, it feels good to be recognized for all the hard work I've put in, by the peers of mine that actually respect me to the people that hired me to the company and book for me week in and week out, Stone Cold wants ta' thank ya from the bottom of his Texas heart for supportin' 'im and trustin' 'im ta' carry this brand and this promotion ta' heights it's never seen before. And as I close in on the record for the longest reign and look to the road ahead, I'm that much more proud of what Stone Cold and all of his Rattlesnakes have accomplished, and it makes me that much more appreciative of the fellas' that gave me a chance in the first place. My passion for this business increases every morning I get ta' wake up and still call myself the holder of this here belt, and increases tenfold every time I successfully defend it. Tonight I defend it again against a man that came very close ta' winnin' it at Summerslam, Chris Jericho.

Am I gonna stand here and say it's impossible for this show ta' end with Chris Jericho as the new You Dubya Eff Champion? 'Course not, I'm confident but I'm not a fool, he has a very good chance a' puttin' my reign to an end. And if he does, lemme say this, the road ahead will not be an easy one for ya son, cuz I guaran-damn-tee ya that even though there'll be others nippin' at yer heels for a shot, no one's gonna be nippin' harder than the Texas Rattlesnake. If you take my title tonight, I don't know when an' I don't know where, I just know that the first chance I get, I'm gonna take it right back and continue ta' dominate this roster and represent Raw as its proud champion. However, I've got the same chance you got son, and I believe very strongly that the You Dubya Eff Championship won't be changing hands tonight. I'm gonna beat ya and I'm gonna walk out with what's mine still in tow, and as for the road that lies ahead of that accomplishment, my attitude hasn't changed.

Any person that wants a shot, I'll give 'em a shot, whether it's next week on Raw or next month on pay-per-view. Simple as that. And THAT'S the bottom line...cuz Stone Cold said so!

Austin's theme begins playing again as Stone Cold drops his microphone and heads to the nearest turnbuckle, ascending it and posing for the crowd with his UWF Championship, motioning for a few beers so he can have a bit of a bash.

Justin Roberts: The following contest is set for one fall!

Shattered Dreams Productions

24 Karat Pictures Present

A Shattered Dreams Production

dust_o_GIFSoupcom.gif

The unforgettable theme of Goldust hits the PA system and a spotlight focuses on the stage as he emerges from the back. He is decked out in his usual gold attire, complete with the platinum blonde wig and extravogant robe. Marlena is by his side, smoking a cigar looking very hot. Both of them make their ways down the isle, Goldust stops and rubs himself up and down in front of the camera, licking his lips as he does so. He then continues on towards the ring where he and Marlena waste no time in entering. Goldust does his usual posturing on the top rope. He steps down and prepares for his match.

Justin Roberts: Introducing first, from parts unknown, “The Bizarre One†Goldust!

As the Fallen Angel’s music plays throughout the arena, the crowd is instantly on their feet. Christopher Daniels was caught off guard by this. Given all he had done in TNA to some top faces, most people had given him much heat. But now he was nearly being praised. He felt slightly bad that he had to pop their bubble. As he made his way down to the ring, he made no attempt to interact with the crowd. Walking down he simply just stared ahead, more focused on his task at hand.

Justin Roberts: Introducing his opponent, from the City of Angels, weighing in at 215 pounds, “The Fallen Angel†Christopher Daniels!

The bell rings and Goldust starts rubbing himself almost off the bat. Christopher Daniels doesn’t quite know how to react that, but never the less he goes right at Goldust, hitting him with a step up enziguiri. The golden one falls backwards to the mat in the corner, in a seated position. Daniels uses this opportunity to charge at Goldust and hitting Goldust directly in the chest with a running dropkick. The Golden One gasps for air as Daniels drags him out the corner and covers him for the first fall of the match…

1…

2…

Goldust kicks out!

Daniels drags Goldust by the arm and lifts him to his feet. He throws Goldust right back into the corner and follows up with a running clothesline. The force of the clothesline causes Goldust to stumble out of the corner, where Daniels wraps both arms around Goldust’s waist and lifts him overhead with a bridging Northern Lights suplex…

1…

2…

Goldust kicks out!

Daniels stays on the attack. He lifts Goldust to his feet before placing him on the near ropes and throwing him off. Goldust is able to counter and whip Daniels instead. Daniels bounces off the ropes that were originally intended for Goldust and when he comes back, Goldust is able to catch him, turning his hips and taking him to the mat with a Powerslam. Daniels hits the mat swiftly and Goldust hooks the leg, going for a cover…

1…

2…

Daniels kicks out!

Goldust grabs Daniels by the neck, before lifting him to his feet and taking him back down with a snap suplex. Goldust then gets to his feet before bouncing off the near ropes and coming back at the downed Daniels with a running elbow across the chest and sternum. Goldust goes back and covers Daniels again…

1…

2…

Daniels kicks out!

Goldust mounts the Fallen Angel and starts throwing fists into Daniels’ face. Daniels tries to cover up, but to no avail. Goldust hits about a half dozen shots before getting off Austin and heading to the far corner, and getting into a three point stance…

Cole: This is bizarre.

King: Is anything bizarre when Goldust is involved?

Goldust seems ready to pounce. As Daniels pulls himself up, Goldust charges at him, looking for a Spear. But Daniels sees it coming and leapfrogs Goldust, causing the Bizarre One to crash into the middle rope. Goldust stumbles out of the corner and is unaware that Daniels has used the tope as a springboard. Goldust turns around and Daniels wraps both legs Goldust’s head, taking him to the canvas with a springboard hurricanrana. Goldust goes to the canvas and Daniels goes for a cover…

1…

2…

Goldust kicks out!

Daniels gets back to his feet, soon followed by Goldust. Daniels charges right at Goldust, wrapping his arm around Goldust’s neck. And sweeping the back leg, taking him down with a running STO. Daniels gets back to his feet and says that this is over. He drags Goldust over to a near corner before leaving him directly under the turnbuckle. Daniels then hops from the canvas to the middle rope, then to the top before moonsaulting backwards onto Goldust…

Cole: Best Moonsault Ever!

Daniels hits the BME and hooks the leg, looking for the win…

1…

2…

Goldust rolls a shoulder!

King: What?

Daniels can’t believe it, so he covers Goldust again…

1…

2…

Goldust kicks out!

Daniels now begins to get frustrated. He puts Goldust in position again and once more goes for the Best Moonsault ever, this time though, Goldust rolls out of the way and Daniels hits nothing but canvas. Daniels rolls around the ring in pain. Goldust pulls himself to his feet and goes right after Daniels. The Gold One lifts Daniels off the canvas before placing his head between his legs. Goldust dances proactively before lifting Daniels off the canvas and dropping him onto his skull with a piledriver. Daniels’ skull crashes hard on the mat as Goldust goes for a cover…

1…

2…

Daniels kicks out!

Goldust strokes himself one more time, before saying that it’s over. He looks down on Daniels, who is crawling away from his opponent. Goldust stalks behind Daniels as The Fallen Angel starts to pull himself to his feet. Goldust wraps his arm around Daniels’ neck…

King: It may be time for the Curtain Call!

Before we can find out what Goldust has planned, Daniels is able to spin through and kick Goldust directly in the stomach. This doubles Goldust over and allows Daniels to grab both of his arms in a Double Underhook position before lifting Goldust off the canvas and slamming him face first back down with the Angel’s Wings. The fans pop as Daniels turns Goldust over and covers him…

1…

2…

3…

Roberts: Here is your winner; Christopher Daniels!

daniels_06.jpg

Daniels gets to his feet and has his hand raised. He’s won his first match in quite some time and he’s very proud of himself. Daniels exits the ring and heads to the back as Raw goes elsewhere.

Upon coming back from Commercial break, the camera cuts backstage to Shawn Michaels whos been stopped by an interviewer for some questions.
HBK is stopped backstage after his match by Todd Grisham.

Todd Grisham: Shawn, a quick word please. Based on your performance tonight you seem like you haven't lost your touch, but what are your thoughts about Kurt Angle interupting you earlier tonight?

normal_0003546.jpg

HBK: Todd, what Kurt Anlge had to say was an act of jealousy and if he wants to settle this than well he knows where.....

Kurt Angle comes from behind Shawn and throws him to the ground. Todd Grisham tries to get in between them, but Kurt picks him up by the collar and tosses him aside as well. It's just Kurt and it's just Shawn, who's unfortunately... lying on the ground.

Kurt_Angle_amp_Chris_Benoit_Fight_B.gif

Kurt starts stomping on Shawn, over and over, grunting as he does so. Kurt continues the onslaught as he picks him up, hitting him a few times in the face and stomach with a closed fist. Kurt grabs Shawn by the hair, taking him face first and throwing him into a nearby wall. The referees and securities guards around begin to swarm in, taking Angle and locking him up. Kurt wiggles free, and he somehow manages to knee Shawn right in the face as he's getting up. Shawn lies silently now, as Kurt screams into the air.

4650%2520-%2520kurt_angle%2520wwe%2520yelling.png

Michael Cole: Oh my god, Kurt Angle just attacked a helpless Shawn Michaels in the middle of his interview, just like he said he would!

King: There was no reason for this kind of brutality when they were both in the middle of the ring, just a few minutes ago. They could have talked it out, Cole!

Michael Cole: Talk it out? It looks like there is some serious bad blood between these two.

King: I'm without a doubt sure that Shawn Michaels is going to wake up soon with the intent of hell to pay, Cole.

Raw cuts to the next segment, as Kurt Angle is being dragged away from Shawn, who needs medical attention.

Roberts: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 262 pounds, he is the only Olympic Gold Medalist in professional wrestling history; Kurt Angle.

tumblr_m6jy1cV10J1rsccs1o4_250.gif

Roberts: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 240 pounds; John Morrison!

The crowd are on their feet as John Morrison struts out onto the stage and poses on the stage, as the camera captures the moment in glorious slow motion.

15554846.jpg

Morrison then strides down the ramp, eying the arena around him. He climbs the steel steps and steps into the ring. Morrison saunters across the ring and clambers up onto the turnbuckle. He poses for the fans, as countless camera flashes go off before him. He steps down, and wanders over to the other corner of the ring to collect a microphone from ringside. He then turns back to face the camera in the crowd, and begins to speak.

Morrison and Angle lock up to begin the match. Angle uses his amateur wrestling background to perform a swift side suplex to Morrison sending the Tuesday night delight to the canvas stomach first. Angle wastes little time, repositioning his body and applying a grounded front face lock on Morrison. Angle makes sure that his arms are firmly wrapped across Morrison’s neck and applies as much pressure as he conceivably can. Morrison doesn’t stay in this position too long as he uses his agility to grab Angle by the arm and spin out of the front face
lock. Morrison then uses his speed to use that same arm of Angle and perform and inside cradle, covering Angle for the first fall of the match…

1…

2…

Angle kicks out!

Angle gets to a knee as Morrison gets to his feet. That counter caught the Olympic Gold Medalist by surprise. Morrison gloats since he can tell this too. Kurt doesn’t stand for it and immediately lunges off his knee and at Morrison taking him out with a stiff short arm clothesline. Morrison goes to the canvas and Angle goes for a cover…

1…

2…

Morrison kicks out!

Angle lifts Morrison by the head and pulls him to his feet. Kurt quickly wraps his arms around Morrison’s waist and throws him overhead with a belly to belly suplex. Morrison hits the mat hard and Angle crawls to another cover…

1…

2…

Morrison kicks out!

Angle again goes right after Morrison, lifting him to his feet and throwing him into a near corner. Angle looks at the dubbed “Prince of Parkour†before taking a few steps back to build momentum. Angle charges out of the corner only to have Morrison slide out of the way. Angle collides chest first with the turnbuckle and Morrison makes sure he hits it again as Morrison dropkicks Angle in the back. John then wastes no time, rolling Angle up from behind…

1…

2…

Angle kicks out!

Cole: Both Morrison and Angle are going full force to start this match.

Both men get to a vertical base at the same time and Morrison swings at Angle. Angle is able to respond by ducking under Morrison’s attempt. Kurt proceeds to go behind Morrison and wrap his arms around Morrison’s waist. Angle then lifts Morrison off the mat and drops him onto his head with a German suplex. Morrison grabs his head and neck as it hits the canvas. Angle isn’t finished though. He hasn’t released the grip on Morrison yet. He drags both of them back to their feet before suplexing Morrison for a second time. Morrison is taking a lot of damage with each suplex, but the crowd is eating it up. They count along with every suplex that Angle delivers. Angle pulls the two competitors to their feet before suplexing Morrison for a third time. As Morrison’s head hits the canvas hard, the Nassau Coliseum fills with chants of “Threeâ€. Angle still will not let go of Morrison’s waist. The Olympic Gold Medalist lifts Morrison to his feet, prepping for a fourth German suplex. Angle tosses Morrison once more, this time releasing him. John Morrison has been suplexed enough for this evening though, because as Angle releases his, Morrison is able to shift his body weight and land on his feet. Of course, there is collateral damage. As Morrison lands, he jams his left ankle and immediately grabs it…

King: That didn’t look good. If there’s a person in the world that you don’t want to wrestle while being injured; it’s Kurt Angle.

Cole: Especially an injured ankle.

Morrison does his best to not reveal the injury to Kurt Angle, who had his back turned throughout all this. Angle does turn back to Morrison through and Morrison immediately uses his good leg in an attempt to kick Angle in the midsection. Angle is ready for the kick and blocks it. Morrison responds by using the injured leg to step up and kick Angle square in the temple with an enziguiri. Angle drops like a ton of bricks as Morrison grabs his ankle and goes for a cover…

1…

2…

Angle rolls a shoulder!

Morrison gets to his feet, knowing that he has to end this fast. Morrison grabs the stunned Angle and drags him towards the nearest turnbuckle. Morrison makes sure the Angle is in perfect position before heading towards the corner himself…

Cole: Morrison may be looking for Starship Pain!

Morrison leaps from the canvas to the middle rope, splitting his legs on each side. But as Morrison is in this precarious position, Angle manages to get off the canvas and chop block the same injured left ankle. Morrison falls to the mat, grabbing his ankle and now Angle knows exactly what he needs to do…

King: I think John Morrison may simply be buying time now.

Angle grabs Morrison’s ankle, holding it in place so that he can viciously stomp on it. Morrison yells in pain as Angle repeats the process. Angle knows that he has Morrison right where he wants him. Angle wastes no time, grabbing Morrison by the left ankle and applying his patented Ankle Lock…

Cole: There it is!

Angle’s got the hold locked on tightly as Morrison screams in pain and frustration. Morrison pushes himself off the canvas and into an elevated position in order to alleviate some of the pressure. Angle doesn’t care what Morrison tries to do, he simply continues to rip at the ankle, hoping for either a submission victory or a broken ankle; whichever comes first. Morrison knows that he cannot last in this move for too long, so he rolls through from the elevated position that he was in, breaking the hold and sending Angle flying across the ring. Morrison pushes himself to the canvas, trying desperately not to put any weight on that ankle. Angle gets to his feet, surprised that Morrison didn’t submit. Angle goes right after Morrison, only to have Morrison use his right leg to leap off the canvas and hit Angle dead in the face with a back heel kick. The Olympic Gold Medalist goes down to the canvas and Morrison goes for a cover…

1…

2…

Angle kicks out!

Morrison once again grabs his ankle as he gets to his feet. He’s still extremely intent on ending this match soon. He backs up into the far corner and begins stalking Angle.

King: It looks like John Morrison may have something left in the tank.

Morrison literally begins begging Angle to get to his feet. The pain and anxiety is etched on Morrison’s face. Angle soon stumbles to his feet and turns towards where Morrison is ready to strike. Morrison lunges out of the corner, looking for the superkick known as the “Nitro Blastâ€â€¦

Cole: John Morrison is looking for Pay dirt.

Morrison made one small mistake. He led with the left leg. The same left leg that has been in pain for a majority of this match. Angle manages to catch the kick before it can connect and immediately twist’s Morrison’s leg, once again applying the Ankle Lock. For the second time in this match, Angle has his trademark submission applied. Morrison tries the counter that he used earlier, trying to roll through to get Angle to break the hold. This time, it doesn’t work. Morrison rolls through, but Angle rolls with him, and the pressure remains applied. Morrison looks as if he’s ready to give it up. He raises his arm in the air; the pressure seems to be too much to bear…

Cole: I think this one is over.

Morrison’s face tells the story. He’s got to give it up. The arm is in the air; and he knows what he’s got to do. Angle screams “Give it Up†just as Morrison’s arm comes down. Morrison’s arm comes down on the bottom rope, grabbing it firmly and breaking the hold. The referee demands that Angle release the hold, but Angle does not comply. So the referee is forced to begin counting Angle out…

1…

2…

3…

Angle breaks the hold on 4 ½

The referee pushes Angle away from Morrison and tells him to respect his authority. Angle hears the referee’s admonishment, but doesn’t really listen to it. Morrison, still lying on the canvas grabs his left ankle yet again, hopefully to get some feeling back. Angle sees this and knows that he’s got to go back on the attack. What Angle does not see is that Morrison has untied his left wrestling boot. Angle moves the referee out of the way and goes right after the left ankle, applying the Ankle Lock for a third time. Angle pulls and tugs on Morrison’s ankle, when out of nowhere; Morrison’s boot comes off…

Cole: I feel like I’ve seen this before.

In homage to WrestleMania 20, John Morrison has pulled off Eddie Guerrero’s trademark. Angle looks at the boot, stunned that this has happened yet again. In all the amazement, Morrison has snuck up behind Angle and cradles him for a pin…

1…

2…

King: No Way!

3…

Roberts: Here is your winner; John Morrison!

john-morrison-resimleri-4.jpg

Morrison immediately rolls under the bottom rope and to the outside of the ring as the referee rushes and raises his hand. John manages to get to his feet and smirk at Kurt Angle who is standing in the ring, obviously frustrated. Morrison makes his way to the back as Raw heads elsewhere.

Fans cheer as the twinkle being shown of Jericho's jacket is shining and the lights go on fully and shows Jericho

Jericho turns as he is happy to see all the fans Jericho begins to look at the ring as he smiles. Jericho goes and he walks down the ramp and he begins to get excited as he knows hat he has a golden opportunity. Jericho reaches the ramp and heads up he steel steps before walking onto the ring apron and performing his trademark taunt. Jericho then enters the ring and waits for his opponent.

Roberts: And his opponent, from Victoria, Texas, weighing in at 256 pounds, he is the reigning and defending UWF Champion; Stone Cold Steve Austin!

The iconic glass shatters and out walks Stone Cold Steve Austin to a massive pop. The old Stone Cold has returned! He has the UWF Championship firmly in tow as he struts down the ramp and towards the ring. At entrance ramp before entering the ring, Austin stops and poses with his Championship before entering. Christian rolls out the back door, allowing Austin to perform his trademark corner salute. Austin climbs each turnbuckle, showing off the UWF Championship. He hits all four before hopping down and waiting for the match to start.

WWEChampionship.gif

The bell rings and Austin and Jericho lock up right away. Jericho grabs Austin by the am before performing a successful go behind. Jericho wrenches the Champion’s arm before Austin responds by throwing a back elbow right into Jericho’s face. The force cause Jericho to release the Champion as he checks to make sure all of his facial features are still intact. Once this task is complete, Jericho turns his attention back towards the Champion, who responds by running right at his challenger. Jericho sees him coming and almost immediately grabs Austin by the arm and arm drags him before swiftly applying a modified Cross Arm breaker to the Champion. Austin knows the damage that this submission can do, so he quickly uses his free arm to pull himself towards the nearest set of ropes. The referee tells Jericho that he needs to break the hold, and Y2J responds. Jericho gets to his feet and backs off of Austin as the Champion manages to get to a vertical base. Both men exchange looks at one another and the Challenger subtly tells the Champion to “Bring it Bitch!†This enrages the Champion, who goes on the onslaught. Austin charges right in at Jericho and starts delivering right hand after right hand to his Challenger’s face. The blows have an effect of Jericho, knocking the Champion onto the near ropes, where Austin grabs him by the arm and Irish whips him to the opposing side of the ring. Jericho bounces off the ropes and comes back at Austin, who has fully cocked back and is read to deliver a clothesline, but Jericho ducks under it and when he Champion turns around, Jericho meets him with a clothesline off his own. The Champion goes down to the canvas as Jericho goes for the first fall of this Championship bout…

1…

2…

Austin rolls a shoulder up.

The challenger wastes no time lifting the Champion to his feet. Jericho quickly wraps his arms around Austin’s waist before lifting him overhead with a bridging Northern Lights suplex. The referee drops down and begins to count another pinfall…

1…

2…

Austin kicks out.

Both men manage to get to their feet at the same time. Jericho once again goes back on the attack, cocking back for another clothesline. Austin sees this one coming and sidesteps it, before wrapping his arms around Jericho’s waist, performing a suplex of his own, this one of the German variety. Just like Jericho, Austin bridges the suplex and the referee must count yet again…

1…

2…

Jericho kicks out!

Jericho kicks out and rolls over to the corner, while the Champion stands on the opposing side of the ring. So far this match has been evenly contested, neither man hitting any big time maneuvers, but neither man making a mistake at the same time.

Cole: So far, Jericho and Austin are exchanging punches, exchanging moves!

As Jericho sits in the corner, Austin goes right after him. Austin walks towards the Challenger, but Jericho raises his boot from the canvas and drives it right into Austin’s midsection. This slows the Champion down, but doesn’t stop him. Austin goes right back after Jericho, only to have the Challenger yet again drive his boot into Austin’s stomach. This one doubles the Champion over and allows Jericho to pull himself off the canvas and to the second rope before leaping off and delivering a missile dropkick right to Austin’s face. The Champion falls to the canvas and he Challenger quickly goes for another cover…

1…

2…

Austin kicks out!

As soon as Austin kicks out, Jericho grabs him by the arm, once again applying the cross arm breaker. This time, Steve Austin isn’t close to the ropes, so Jericho is able to fully execute the submission. Once it is full applied, you hear the Champion shouting expletives as the referee asks him if he wants to submit. The referee assumes that to be a “no†so Jericho does not break the hold…

King: With the ropes nowhere in sight, Austin needs to break Jericho’s grip.

Almost as if Austin was in sync with King, the Rattlesnake begins using his free arm in an attempt to break Jericho’s grip. This is easier said than done as Jericho has more upper body strength than he lets on and has almost a vice like clamp on Austin’s arm. Austin struggles to pull Jericho’s arms apart and just as he has created enough space to maybe pull his arm out, Jericho uses his foot to kick Austin in the side of the skull. This causes a chain of reaction which ends in Austin losing concentration and Jericho regaining control of the situation. Austin continues to curse as he knows how close he was to being free. But in the middle of his expletive ridden rant, he fails to realize that his shoulders are down on the canvas…

1…

2…

Austin raises his shoulder.

Austin knows that he needs to make a move. Nobody has been in the cross arm breaker his long and doesn’t receive some sort of physical injury. The ropes are out of the question and breaking Jericho’s grip didn’t work, what’s next? Austin comes up with a brilliant counter, he knows that he needs to get off his back to deviate the pressure, so Austin rolls onto his side, which in turns stacks Jericho onto his shoulders and the referee starts counting the fall…

1…

2…

Jericho kicks out!

Cole: That was genius by Steve Austin. He knew Jericho would have to break the hold in the case of a pinning predicament.

Jericho, albeit somewhat surprised by Austin’s counter manages to get to a vertical base. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ring, the Champion is slowly but surely getting to his own feet. Austin reaches for his arm, basically putting a huge bull’s eye on it.

King: Austin was extremely confident heading into this match. But what good is a one-armed man in a fight?

This doesn’t stop the Champion from fighting. He goes right back on the assault. This time, Austin fires left hands at Jericho, not wanting to use the right that was affected by the cross arm breaker. Whether it is with a right or a left, the punches still have effect. Once again, Jericho is backed onto the ropes like a prized fighter. Austin once again grabs Jericho and Irish whips him. The Challenger is able to reverse and sending Austin running instead. Austin comes back towards the challenger, who is ready to deliver another clothesline. Austin sees this coming and like Jericho a lot earlier in the matchup, he ducks it. Unlike Jericho earlier, Austin keeps running and bounces off the ropes that he originally threw Jericho off of. Y2J turns around just in time to see Austin coming back at him. The Champion leaves his feet and takes Jericho down with a Lou Thesz press before delivering rapid fire lefts to Jericho’s face. The crowd chants along with every fist that is delivered to Jericho’s skull. “One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six†the count reaches six before Austin gets off Jericho and runs the ropes, dropping an elbow right across Jericho’s throat. The challenger gasps for air as the Champion makes the cover…

1…

2…

Jericho kicks out!

Cole: And now Austin seems to be back in control.

Stone Cold Steve Austin seems to be back in the driver’s seat. He gets to his feet and looks down on Jericho before laying the boots to his Challenger. Austin starts stomping hard on Jericho’s throat and slowly makes his way down Jericho’s body, making sure to not miss and vital body part of appendage. Austin finishes his fury, but isn’t finished with his opponent. He grabs Jericho by both legs and angles him towards the turnbuckle. Austin lifts Jericho off the mat and slingshots him towards the corner…

King: Look out!

Jericho is able to counter. After he is propelled towards the turnbuckle, Jericho is able to land on the middle turnbuckle pad as opposed to crashing into the top one. Austin is unaware of this and as he turns towards the corner to go back on the attack, Jericho leaps off the middle rope and lands on to of Austin with a Crossbody. The momentum takes both Champion and Challenger to the canvas, where Jericho stays on top for a pinfall…

1…

2…

Austin pushes Jericho off!

Both men get to their feet at the same time and Jericho acts first. He immediately steps up and hits Austin with an enziguiri. But this isn’t your normal enziguiri. Instead of hitting Austin in the side of the head, Jericho angles his foot to kick the Champion directly in his injured right arm. The Champion swears in obvious pain as he drops to a knee. Jericho is ready to finish Austin off. As Austin rests on a knee, Jericho runs off the near ropes and comes back at the Champion. Austin is ready for him though, and as Jericho comes in Austin is able to lift him and slam him onto the canvas with a ring-shaking spinebuster. Jericho’s back and neck hit the mat hard, but it’s obvious that Austin may have over exerted himself with that move as he grabs his right arm almost immediately. The Champion battles through the pain and goes for a cover…

1…

2…

Jericho kicks out!

Jericho barely managed to roll a shoulder after the high impact spinebuster from the Champion. Austin pushes himself from the mat to his feet, shaking his right arm in the process, trying to get some blood pumping through it. Austin forgets the arm and notices that Jericho is still down. He heads over to the corner and uses his upper body strength to push himself to the middle rope. Austin looks down on his Challenger before flipping him the bird and leaping off, dropping his forearm right across Jericho’s skull. The Champion wastes no time going for yet another cover…

1…

2…

Jericho kicks out!

Cole: Y2J has been very persistent, but he needs to manage an offense if he wants to leave as Champion.

Austin pushes himself to his feet once more. He looks down on Jericho and a scowl forms across the face of the Champion. He’s ready to end this. Austin slowly begins stalking his opponent, similar to the way a rattlesnake stalks his prey in the wild. Jericho uses the set of near ropes to pull himself to his feet, unaware that Austin is ready to open the proverbial can of whoop ass on him. Jericho makes it to a vertical base and Austin quickly spins him around, kicking him directly in the stomach, before grabbing him by the skull, looking for the Stone Cold Stunner. But as Austin has his back to Jericho, the challenger is able to hook both of Austin’s arms and backslide him to the canvas for another cover…

1…

2…

Austin powers out!

Once more, both men manage to get to their feet at the same time, and once again, Jericho goes on the attack first. He leaps at Austin, wrapping his legs around Austin’s head and performing a beautiful standing hurricanrana. Jericho successfully connects and reaches back, grabbing Austin’s legs as he performs yet another fall…

1…

2…

Austin kicks out!

Jericho now gets back to his feet. He’s in control now. He looks over at Austin and now Jericho decides that he’s ready to end it. Austin crawls towards the center of the ring, trying to buy himself some time. The Champion comes to the realization that there’s nothing to do but fight, so he gets to his feet. In almost a mirror image of what transpired not too long ago, Jericho waits patiently as the Champion gets up. Austin does and Jericho spins him around right away, leaving his feet and wrapping both arms Austin’s head…

King: Codebreaker!

Jericho does indeed attempt the Codebreaker, but Austin has it scouted. As Jericho tries to bring Austin’s head down onto his knees, Jericho wraps both of his arms around Jericho’s waist, blocking any movement Jericho can make. Austin is in complete control of the Challenger and soon takes advantage. Austin uses Jericho’s own body weight and hot shots him across the top rope. Jericho is stunned and Austin sneaks up behind him, lifting him off the canvas in preparation for a back body drop. Jericho is able to use his own momentum and flip through the attempted suplex, landing on his feet behind Austin. The Champion turns around and Jericho capitalizes, leaving his feet and hitting the Codebreaker!

Cole: He got him!

An exhausted Y2J hits his finishing move and goes for a cover. The referee slides near the ropes and counts the fall…

1…

2…

There is no three count…

The cameras pant to the outside of the ring and everyone bears witness as Cody Rhodes pulls the referee out of the ring and throws him onto the arena floor. Rhodes then enters the ring, where Jericho still has Austin covered. Rhodes quickly kicks Jericho in the back of the head, forcing the challenger off the Champion. Rhodes isn’t done with Jericho just yet though. He lifts the limp Challenger off the mat before wrapping his arm around Jericho’s neck and taking him to the canvas with Cross Rhodes. Jericho’s body sprawls across the canvas as Rhodes looks over towards the Champion.

Cole: Cody Rhodes has lost it!

Austin is starting to get to a vertical base. Rhodes notices this and runs off the towards the Champion and springboards off the nearest ropes before kicking the Champion directly in the face with the Disaster Kick. Austin goes down, Jericho is down, and the only man standing is Cody Rhodes. Rhodes looks towards ringside and something catches his eye. He goes over to the timekeeper and grabs Austin’s Smoking Skull Championship. Rhodes reenters the ring and poses over the Champion and Challenger.

King: Cody Rhodes may have just staked his claim of the UWF Championship.

The last thing we see before Raw goes off the air is Cody Rhodes holding the UWF Championship.

Great show especially considering that you did this all by yourself. The opening promo was a bit weird. Doesn't really mesh with Teddy Long and just seems out of place. I'm fine if you feel that way but saying its a work when it doesn't really work as a work makes it a bit off. Nice to see a feud developing between Angle and Michaels as I always loved their matches with each other in WWE and I can only dream of what you writers can do with that match. That main event was PPV worthy and Cody seems to be taking a new dark and twisted turn. Do I smell triple threat? Should be an awesome read.

Re: UWF Tuesday Night Raw September 4th Edition

Cwalker, you truly are the beast, doing this entire show in one day. While an impressive feat, I'm glad that you realize it's not something that should be done often. Wasn't expecting the shoot promo, but admittedly I did enjoy it, as Teddy's time heading up Raw dwindles down, I anticipate the reveal of the new general manager. Clash of the Champions will certainly be a great show too, I'm definitely looking forward to that. As for the main event, in a way I think it's fitting that there wasn't a finish as me and Chase went to war and were ready to fight even further had our schedules permitted. It appears we will be getting a proper feud as no finish means the battle continues, and now that Rhodes is back in the mix, the e-fedding community also gets a proper Dres/RiR feud as well.

I'm not on Raw for the first time in UWF history, and you produce a show like that...... Sigh. Looking on in with wishes to be there. Not that im not happy with my other two brands but... dammit, there's three good brands, I wanna be on em all! haha.

Glad there was no true winner in the main event, it was close to call the tt thread in my eyes, and adding rey in the mix should add for exciting times for sure.

The shoot sure opened my eyes and the relief when I read the OOC at the bottom :p Thank gawd.

Yeah, really groovy guys.

Re: UWF Tuesday Night Raw September 4th Edition

I'm sorry but that opening promo wasn't a work. That sounded all too real to me.

Anyway, very good show as per usual. Love the fact a feud between #1 hbk fan and Jay has begun as that should be a great read and match. The UWF Championship situation is an interesting one, especially considering no winner was declared. Looking forward to that triple threat in the future!

Hopefully Raw will be a little more "Charismatic" soon. I'm sure he'll bring the keys of success with him.

Got reading to RAW...

I'm probably the only one who didn't enjoy the opening promo at all, whilst it's a shoot. Teddy Long would never do one in reality and it was out of context and from nowhere, no lead up or anything.

I found it very distasteful, rest of the show was great.

Re: UWF Tuesday Night Raw September 4th Edition

The shoot promo opening the show by god what a way to kick off this read. Very good for a one day written show man. Awesome job with it. I told Dredsen this we were both winners in the end of it all, and hell I guess we are both winners because we can keep having fun TTing wars with Rey now. Sounds like a fun job too me :). Anyways Raw was good. Angle and HBK promo was good, but had a tough act to follow.

Also so what Cwalker made Teddy Long act like a prick? Really in all honesty I'm making Mysterio a super hero. Andrew is making Batista care about the top 25? Like really why would Batista brag about the top 25? You guys who are getting mad about the shoot promo live a little. Cwalker was just trying to start off the show, and if anything maybe this shoot promo was a way to relieve some stress... or hell to write Long off to bring someone else new? Even if Jericho was mentioned in that promo I would have no problem.

Agreed. I'd go as far as it being believable the way he explained why he done it, referencing CM Punk pipebombs, and Austins promos being a regular feature. We all make our characters do things out of character at one point or another. It's what makes it different from the actual WWE or TNA and makes for more exciting reads as you never quite know what to expect. Plus he's only a bloody GM. Not like he's gonna win a match off it haha

The opening promo was kinda...shooty. See what I did there? Anyway, I kinda like it. Sure, Teddy Long would never say something like that but hell, this is an e-fed. Teddy Long is the RAW GM so basicly it's Cwalker's character now. He has to play him like we play our characters.

This show was really great and it for sure doesn't look like you made it within one day. I am really interested in what's next for RAW as I can smell some really great storylines in the air.

Gained my first win but meh...an uncontested win. Although I understand why Tapout didn't show up I am disappointed I didn't get a chance to TT while I had all the world's time. Now it's school, friends and everything that keeps me from TTing like I did before. But you know what? The Cowboy is still going for the Hardcore Championship!

The shoot is harmless in comparison to the many distasteful things I've seen in feds over the years.

Re: UWF Tuesday Night Raw September 4th Edition

Guess who decided to read Raw :p

Raw was good but I have to say that promo at the beginning was the goods. Really... it should people on notice to step it up. Instead people just wanna moan and complain "Oh Teddy would never say that." "The promo was shooty and hurt" grow up. I woulda said a lot worse than that in his shoes and not even said it was worked or anything. And for the record I have. Who is to say that Teddy has to act "exactly" like he does on TV. That is the worst portrayal of characters and the most boring. I mean if you going to do that... why not just turn on the tv and watch it cause they gonna portray the exact replica of you trying to do except do it better. To add to the character is what makes it unique. That is what makes it stand out. You look at the most successful characters in fedding and you tell me... which ones are most memorable? The ones that are exactly a computer copy of what is seen on tv? Or the ones that have their own personal flavor and wrinkle?

Had Vita played James Storm just like on TV or Sting who woulda remembered him? So to all those wanting to hate on Teddy for "acting out of character" get over it. There is no rule stated anywhere that you have to play a character exactly like he is and instead it makes things more interesting and it makes the next few weeks of Raw that much more interesting and compelling.

So with all of that... CWalker, good job on what you did there. Excellent job. The promo was top notch. The show was top notch. Kudos.
