AND NOW, NXT PRESENTS...
EPISODE THIRTEEN: THE ROAD TO REVOLUTION
Pyro blasts out from the stage in every direction imaginable, lighting up the stage in a sea of yellow. As the pyro dies down the camera does a pan of the arena to show all of the excited fans. The theme music of NXT continues to play until the camera centers on the commentary table where Joey Styles is joined by Matt Striker.
Joey Styles: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another exciting edition of NXT! I'm Joey Styles...
Matt Striker: And I'm Matt Striker. With each and every week, I find myself more and more excited to be a part of this brand, Joey!
Joey Styles: And who could blame you, Matt? NXT is the place to be and the brand to watch, and tonight we prove that again with a stellar line-up that's sure to whet your appetite in anticipation of next Sunday's pay-per-view!
Matt Striker: First, after being told he couldn't compete in the main event last week, Taz is ready to wrestle as he takes on one of his opponents at New Year's Revolution, Brock Lesnar, in singles action. Not only that, but we'll have Johnny Curtis and the lovely Maxine here on commentary with us!
Joey Styles: And things have gotten personal quickly between NXT's newest signing and the former Interim General Manager, and tonight it gets even moreso as Austin Aries takes on Sting's tag team partner Kane!
Matt Striker: Speaking of personal, two best friends, or former best friends, whichever way you look at it, must do battle in a violent way as Zack Ryder and Seth Rollins meet in a First Blood match!
Joey Styles: And in our main event, future opponents must team up as CM Punk and Rhino face Bully Ray and The Miz!

Darkness falls over the arena as well as silence, aside from the audible disdain the fans are expressing with their passionate booing. A theme music begins to play but instead of "No Reflection" by Marilyn Manson, it is a different theme, "Fear of the Dark" by Graveworm. The fans continue reacting as they normally would for about a minute and forty seconds, because at the minute and forty-one second mark, a screaming begins in the theme, bringing their booing to an end and shattering all silence that existed in the arena. But then the theme stops playing, and there is dead silence again. After a few seconds of this silence, the lights come up and Sting and Kane are standing in the ring.
Given the sequence of events that has gone down in the past seven days, there are a myriad of topics I could address during the period of time that has been set aside for me to come out here and speak. I could talk about the fact that Bradshaw has now effectively clotheslined me for two consecutive weeks without any sort of physical retaliation, I could talk about Kane's match tonight against Bradshaw's back-up plan, but I'm not going to. Last week in revealing the significance behind the message that Seth Rollins stumbled upon after returning to consciousness, I extended an offer for him to join Kane and I in our brotherhood. That is what I have chosen to talk about, because that is what I care most about right now, his decision. A decision that he was unable to make last week because of Bradshaw's attack. Members of the NXT audience, there is a war being waged, and it is becoming more and more apparent with each passing week that eventually, there simply won't be room for both Bradshaw and I on this brand.
He has already begun to scout his army by aligning Austin Aries with himself, and it will only be a matter of time before he coaxes someone else onto his side. Seth, once again I extend the invitation for you to join us, come on out here and let us know your thoughts on the matter, as well as your decision.
Sting lowers his microphone as he and Kane watch the stage. For a moment nothing happens and there is only silence, when suddenly...

"Battle On" by the group War of Ages, the new theme of Seth Rollins, begins to play over the PA system as the man himself walks through the curtain, wearing black clothing that seems to resemble a bulletproof vest. He circles the ring and grabs a microphone from one of the officials sitting ringside, then makes his way up the steel steps, entering through the ropes and joining Sting and Kane in the ring.
Seth Rollins;
What do I gain from aligning with you? When I see things, I see them as injustice. I am making a stand to clear everything that is wrong with this company Sting... JBL may have chosen Austin Aries, Zack Ryder may not be the friend I thought he was... But this, everything's wrong with this damn company. Nobody has seen Jimmy Jacobs all this time because it's you guys refusing to book him, he's walked away from the company right now! It's just me, on my own... But now you say you want me to join forces with you and Kane? Do I really need to disdain everything I've done? Last week JBL attacked me before I could answer, will he be doing that tonight? No. The world will get it's answer, seeing useless hacks try and take me out, it means they must see me as some sort of threat but in all due time... I will become your 'Chosen One', I will pour the poison into this company and watch things disdain like never before. The superstars who took me out are no longer with this company, quite a disgrace isn't it? Having them attack me and run to other promotions where they will not be used properly, yet you people want to make a mockery of me? A mockery of what I've been able to do in this company? The fact I could have held a Championship by now? But it was thrown out the door and later tonight I face Zack Ryder, you know... I was going to reply to the idiot but it wasn't worth my time... As for you Sting, tell me... What are you going to do that's good enough to convince me to be a part of this group? How exactly are you going to help me?
Seth Rollins lowers his microphone, awaiting Sting's response.
Ever since I became Sting, I have done things for this brand that no one ever thought was possible. In its infancy, NXT was written off as a third wheel product that the members of the UWF audience could afford to miss. During that time, the holder of the NXT World Championship was Randy Orton and the holder of the NXT Extreme Championship was R-Truth. When I won the Extreme Championship from R-Truth and Bully Ray won the World Championship from Randy Orton, and I rose to power while Bradshaw was away tending to personal matters, the brand turned a corner. NXT has gone from a third wheel overlooked show to the brand of the month. And what was one of the main things that made it so watchable and can't-miss? My feud with Rhino over that very Extreme Championship. Whether these people love me or hate me, whether my peers respect me or despise me, the fact remains that I am a powerful entity, I am one of the main attractions. And not only do I bring eyeballs to television sets and venues around the world, I remain dominant as I do so.
The Steel Cage match was brutal and unforgiving, but I survived it. The Barbed Wire Steel Cage match was even more so, but I survived it. An unforeseen Clothesline From Hell? Survived it. Getting bulldogged through a table? Survived it. Anything and everything that has been thrown at me and been thrown at Kane has only served in making us stronger, Seth. These battle scars are badges of honor, we, this brotherhood, are an army you can be proud of. We, can make you powerful beyond your wildest dreams. Attacks like the one you suffered at the hands of Robert Roode will be a thing of the past, because we will have your back. As this personal issue escalates, there will only be two kinds of people on this roster, Seth, those that are aligned with JBL and those that are aligned with us. There is no room for neutrality, there is no room for indecision, all that remain contracted will be forced to choose a side and then it will be time for the final battle. We cannot promise you that you victory will always be yours to taste week in and week out, but we can promise that when you suffer defeat, you will still be standing when the smoke clears, with your head raised high!
Kane interjects to assist in driving home the point.
Bradshaw is a virus that must be eradicated, Seth. What Sting has built and made great, JBL is out to destroy, even if it means taking down NXT and leaving the UWF with only Raw and Smackdown to enjoy. He is in the early stages of manipulating the brand and abusing his power much like he did when he chose Robert Roode to be his hand-picked golden boy. What he had planned with Robert Roode we put an end to, but he isn't going to give up that easily, and with the next firing shot being his, you can rest assured that the repercussions of releasing Roode is going to be grand. When I return to this ring tonight to wrestle, Bradshaw could be around any corner as well as anyone else he may have brought into the fold. Sting cannot fight JBL alone, you and Sting cannot fight JBL alone, no combination of us can except for the union of three. We must band together and be ready to strike back when he strikes next. We...
Seth puts up his hand, cutting off Kane as the "Big Red Monster" lowers his microphone, he and Sting both watching him and listening intently to what he has to say next.
The injustice is the booking, the story lines, the script alone! Randy Orton isn't even in this company anymore, yet he was a Champion. This allowed Bully Ray to accomplish what he couldn't even do in all the other promotions. Bully Ray rose to the top because I wasn't around. Look at R-Truth who hasn't done squat lately, is the moron still around?*Or did he leave too? NXT became brand of the month because of me! Everyone is tuning in week in, week out because they want to know if I am going to accept or not! The attractions don't mean anything Sting, surely JBL could deliver a Clothesline from hell on me as well, but here I am standing before you. Speaking of the injustice that continues to fathom.
*
My intentions are to remove JBL from NXT even if it means me having to beat the living crap out of Austin Aries to send a message to do so…*
But tell me, tonight when I take on Zack Ryder… What are your intentions because injustice is Zack Ryder being in the main event, injustice is him having an opportunity when I eliminated him in a Fatal Four Way match not too long ago!
*
Why does he get the chances and I don't, I get taken out but I could easily prove I am better than these nobodies. N-X-T needs someone fresh to step up, you need someone you barely know and that person is going to be me! Forget your golden boys, forget your superheroes… I'm Seth Rollins and I am the Shield of Injustice, I am going to remove everything that is wrong and that's the way it is!
Seth lowers his microphone again as Sting is quick to respond.
What am I going to do during your match tonight? Well that all depends on your decision, Seth. Kane and I have spoken of our intentions for this company, and you have spoken of yours, and while we appear to be on the same page, whether or not we actually are remains up in the air. Regardless of your decision, I intend to watch you bloody Zack Ryder this evening and make him even simpler pickings for me next Sunday than he would have been had you not been allowed to lay your hands on him. Eventually we're going to begin talking in circles, Seth, and I'm sure Bradshaw can't resist coming out here and crashing the party soon so let it be known now where it is that you stand. Doing away with injustices, or becoming a creator of them? Because as was stated, there will be only those aligned with us and those aligned with him. Understand this, Seth, although I am the leader of this group, I don't consider myself a marionette and the members of the group my puppets. You are a friend, an equal, a brother when you're with us. With Bradshaw...
Seth puts his hand up again, cutting off Sting this time.
We are on the same page here, we have the same agreements.
Seth extends his hand to Sting, who extends his own hand to grab Seth's, initiating the handshake. After it is completed, Seth and Kane shake hands. Sting turns his attention to the members of the audience.
Ladies and gentlemen, tonight the vision expands and prophecy takes another step closer to fulfillment. Our army will grow, as will Bradshaw's, and we will fight when it's time to fight. Until then, we stand as a trio. We are...
Seth raises his microphone to speak again.
The Purveyors of Poison. We together will take a stand and we will do things the right way, follow us and seek within your own body and soul. You too can believe in us, this is just the beginning.
Seth chuckles and laughs with Sting and Kane as the three pose together and NXT heads to its first commercial of the night.

COMMERCIAL ONE
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christy Hemme enters the ring, ready to do the introductions for the first official match of the night.
Christy Hemme: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first...

"Next Big Thing" by Jim Johnston begins to play as the crowd erupts into boos. Paul Heyman walks onto the stage laughing at their voiced disdain, grinning from ear-to-ear as his client Brock Lesnar stomps out through the curtain behind him, stopping and looking down the ramp as he hops back and forth in the manner he's known for.
Christy Hemme: Now being accompanied to the ring by Paul Heyman. From Minneapolis, Minnesota. Weighing in at two-hundred and sixty-six pounds, the "Next Big Thing", Brock Lesnar!
Brock stops at the bottom of the ramp and hops back and forth again and then leaps from the ground to the apron. Before he can enter the ring, Taz comes running down and pulls him from the apron violently as Brock hits the ground with brutal impact. Lesnar gets up angrily and charges at Taz, but he sidesteps and pushes Brock into the corner turnbuckle as Lesnar stumbles towards the barricade. Taz begins to throw a flurry of punches as Brock has his back to the barricade, and after landing about six the "Next Big Thing" decides he's had enough and pushes Taz off of him. Taz catches himself after taking a few forced steps backward and leaps at Lesnar, unloading with more punches.
Joey Styles: OH MY! These two are going hard at it and the bell has yet to ring!
Brock goes for his vicious patented lariat but Taz moves out of the way and Lesnar hits nothing but the ring post. As Brock backs away after making impact, holding his shoulder, Taz locks his arms around the big man's waist and launches into a German suplex, putting Brock through the ringside barricade!
Taz then gets up as Lesnar is on the ground, Taz then charges at Lesnar and delivers a kick to the chest but Lesnar grabs Taz's leg as Lesnar gets up and performs a take down. Lesnar still having hold of the leg hits a leg-DDT maneuver. Lesnar then walks towards the commentary table as he tells one of the crew workers to move out of the way so he can grab a chair. Taz gets back to his feet and charges at full pace before delivering a huge clothesline on Lesnar. Taz then grabs the chair and begins whacking Lesnar in the back, the bell still yet to ring as the referee tells both men to get into the ring. Taz hits Lesnar in the back before irish whipping him into the ring, Taz then slides into the ring as the bell then sounds.
Matt Striker: Well maybe we can get an actual match out of these two. What intensity we're seeing from Taz!
Brock has rolled to his feet and created some distance between him and his opponent as he and Taz stare at each other from their respective sides of the ring. Brock initiates a collar-elbow tie-up but Taz only holds it for a moment, slipping around behind the "Next Big Thing" and applying a waist lock. Lesnar throws his elbow backwards and hits Taz in the side of the head, then turns around and raises his knee up quickly, catching Taz stiffly in the jaw as he grabs Taz by the back of the head and takes off running, slamming him face first into the turnbuckle. As Taz staggers backward out of the corner, Brock reaches out with both hands to capitalize but Taz throws his elbow backward, catching Lesnar in the chest as he slips behind the big man again and locks his arms around his waist, going for another German suplex.
As he launches into the move, Lesnar counters at the height of the throw, rolling through and landing on his feet, grabbing Taz by the shoulders right before he hit the mat and pushing forward, launching Taz back into the corner. Brock charges and sandwiches his opponent between himself and the turnbuckle as Taz drops down into a seated position. Lesnar takes a step back before using his knee to deliver punishment to the jaw of Taz, grabbing Taz by the back of the head and throwing him violently towards the center of the ring as Taz goes sliding across the mat.
Brock continues to stalk his opponent as Taz is pushing himself to his feet with his arms. Once he gets to a vertical base, Brock turns him so that they're facing each other but Taz lands a thumb to the eye! Lesnar clutches at his eyes but as Taz goes to take advantage, Brock moves his hands away from his face, a vindictive smile on his face as he levels his opponent with a devastating clothesline. Taz is left counting the arena lights as he lies there in a daze, rolling from his back to his stomach as he tries to shake the cobwebs off.
Joey Styles: Well Johnny, any thoughts?
Johnny Curtis: Brock is tough, but what he has in strength, he lacks in stamina, the guy can't go very long. Me on the other hand, just ask Maxine, I can go and go and go.
Matt Striker: Certainly no lack of confidence on your part, Johnny.
Johnny Curtis: Of course not, I've beaten Brock already.
Joey Styles: But can you beat him and Taz is the question.
Johnny Curtis: Uh, hello? It's not a Handicap match, they'll be fighting each other too.
Derrick Bateman: And after they've worn each other out, the "Thoroughbred"'s gonna strike and win him a shot at some gold!
Joey Styles: Derrick Bateman?
Matt Striker: Aww yeah, "Modern Day Double Dragon" in the hizzouse!
Johnny Curtis: Hey, only we call ourselves that.
Derrick Bateman: And never say hizzouse again.
Brock gives him no time to breathe as he grabs Taz by the ankle and lifts it into the air, taking the rest of the leg upward as well before he slams it down against the mat as hard as he can. Taz cries out in pain as Brock begins to stomp away on the same leg several times in furious succession. Brock, satisfied with the damage he's done, grabs Taz's leg once again and looks for the
Brock Lock but Taz rolls onto his back and kicks Brock off of him, launching the big man into the ropes. Taz gets up as Brock comes back and leaps into the air, hooking Lesnar around the back of the neck with his arm and planting him with a huge DDT! Taz rolls Lesnar over and hooks the leg.
ONE!
TWO!
NO!
Brock kicks out with authority as he launches Taz upward off of him, Taz crashing to the mat next to where Brock was lying as the "Next Big Thing" kips up to a vertical base and is back on the warpath. Taz begins to bring himself back to a vertical base using the ring ropes as Brock stares him down, anxiously awaiting it to happen. As Taz gets there, he turns around and Brock is directly behind him as he throws the former commentator onto his shoulders, wasting no time in delivering the
F5!
Lesnar looks down at Taz and isn't satisfied with putting him away in this fashion as he goes to the leg area and applies a modified heel hook.
Joey Styles: This is a slap in the face if I ever saw one! Trying to take a submission specialist out with a submission hold!
Johnny Curtis: I didn't hear you say anything when he went for the Brock Lock.
Derrick Bateman: Taz isn't the only one that knows submissions, Joey, Brock's got a few in his repertoire also.
Johnny Curtis: The Kimura.
Derrick Bateman: The Brock Lock.
Johnny Curtis: The...uhh, well that's actually it, but you know he can bust out any other MMA hold at any minute, Joey!
Joey Styles: You two epitomize obnoxiousness, aren't you going to say anything, Matt?
Matt Striker: Just that I love NXT.
Lesnar wrenches back on the heel of Taz, trying to rip his entire leg out of its socket but Taz attempts to roll off of his stomach onto his back, an attempt that Lesnar tries to stop but is unsuccessful in doing so as Taz manages to get onto his back and deliver a boot to the face of his opponent. Lesnar clutches his face with his hands as both men return to a vertical base, Taz running up to Brock and applying a bearhug. Lesnar looks to fight out of it quickly but Taz attempts to reverse the situation into an overhead belly-to-belly suplex only to fall victim to an elbow to the top of the head and a knee to the gut.
Brock grabs Taz and throws him onto his shoulders, going for the
F5 but Taz leaps out of it and applies a half-nelson choke. The audience absolutely erupts into cheers as Taz brings Brock to the mat and applies a bodyscissors as well, locking his opponent in the
Tazzmission!
Johnny Curtis: Nothing about this being a slap in Lesnar's face I bet!
Joey Styles: Will you two just get out of here?
Derrick Bateman: Okay.
Bateman, Maxine, and Curtis all get up from their chairs and remove the headsets, walking away from the table. They all three enter the ring suddenly.
Joey Styles: Wait, that's not what I meant!
The referee tries to reprimand them but Maxine delivers a kick to the groin, effectively taking him out of the equation. Curtis and Bateman run over and begin stomping, Johnny focusing his attack more on Brock and Derrick focusing his attack more on Taz. The hold is broken as Johnny pulls Brock to a vertical base and connects with a European uppercut, and as Lesnar turns with the impact of the move, his back to Curtis, he falls victim to the
A Bid Farewell over the shoulder back-to-belly piledriver! As Taz gets to his feet, Bateman applies a side headlock and connects with the
DBD!
As Curtis and Bateman look at what they've done, they smile, knowing that it's Johnny that has just gained the momentum heading into the pay-per-view. As the referee comes to, he motions to the ringside officials for the bell to be rung, signaling the end of the match and telling them the result.
DING DING!
Christy Hemme: As a result of a double disqualification, this match has been ruled a No Contest!
The crowd give a mixed reaction as Johnny, Derrick, and Maxine make their way up the ramp, never taking their eyes off of the ring as they do.
Matt Striker: Be careful what you wish for, eh Joey?
Joey Styles: I'm at a loss for words, Matt. Let's take things backstage or go to commercial or something.
Joey gets his wish as the cameras cut backstage where we are joined by one-fourth of tonight's main event.
Bully Ray: Good evening. My name is Bully Ray, and I am your NXT World Champion. I have only had one ambition ever since joining this company, and that was to prove that I had what it takes to be a World champion and to be the best in a new field of competition, the singles division. And this gold right here says I’m doing a damn good job of it. I never came here to entertain, I didn’t come here to sell merchandise, and I certainly didn’t come here to make any damn friends. The day NXT was born, the man to make the impact was me. I was the one that at Summerslam show my old Raw companions that, nothing they were doing interested me, and that I was hence leaving them to rot in their own stew on Tuesday nights. And look what happens. I leave Raw, go to NXT, become champion and the fans have voted NXT the brand of the month. Bully Ray is ratings even when he doesn’t try. And that has continued through December, and will be the basis of UWF programming throughout two thousand thirteen. Can you not see the signs?
The General Manager gives me my first title defense in a tables match. A freakin’ tables match. JBL may as well have made Miz wear a blindfold and handcuffs and give him a thirty second time limit, because that’s the chances he has of leaving his home town as champion. Tonight, I have to have this guy in my corner as I beat the next two potential chases to my title, and let’s not beat around the bush, I use the word potential very lightly. They have no potential champion qualities. Rhino is a shadow of his former self and Punk is just a shadow of what he tells people he is. He comes out and talks about how he could beat me…. Hello?! These are not WWE fans… They remember how piss poor you were months ago, so there is no way they take any of your ‘pipe bombs’ seriously. The only thing these people remember is when I power-bombed you… and remember this bit Miz… Through a table.
The three of you in this tag match with me tonight, pray to God I don’t hurt you too badly but most of all pray I don’t knock you out too badly, so you can remember the time you were in the spotlight with Bully Ray. Because I won’t put you on no pretend chat shows, I won’t put any of you in no what’s hot what’s not countdown. I’ll just put you on the side-lines. I will put you out of the game and I will lose no sleep over doing so. And in doing so I will keep giving NXT it’s brand of the month accolades that they are so damn proud of. Now if you’ll excuse me, calves don’t sculpt themselves.
Bully walks offscreen as NXT returns to commercial.

COMMERCIAL TWO
Miss me yet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The cameras cut backstage as we see Christy Hemme making her way along the corridor, presumably on her way to the ring to announce the next match, however she’s soon stopped in her tracks by The Miz who appears suddenly through an adjacent doorway.
The Miz: Christy! You got a minute?
Christy Hemme: Umm, well I need to get down to the ring, got another match coming up
The Miz: It’ll only take two minutes, I promise. Anyway if you’re short of time just lose the finesse, blurt it out all at once “introducingfirstwherehesfromwhatheweighsandhisnameâ€. Simple as that! Okay?
Chrsty Hemme: Hmm, ok then, as long as it’s only a couple of minutes.
The Miz: Three minutes max, I swear, follow me.
The both head into the room that The Miz emerged from. On the wall opposite them as they enter are two massive portraits of;
The Miz: Okay, have a look at these two portraits here, now in your opinion as a strong, confident, ambitious, woman, who of these two men deserve to be the “face†of NXT? Who has what it takes to pull the hood over the face of Cody Rhodes’ Raw and wipe the face paint clean off of Jeff Hardy’s Smackdown?
Christy Hemme: Look Mike I’m a UWF official, I am impartial and I am a professional so there’s no way that I can answer that question. It wouldn’t be right.
The Miz: Hmm, okay okay. How about you blink once for The Miz or twice for Bully Ray?
Christy Hemme folds her arms and fixes him with a stony expression
The Miz: Really?
Christy Hemme: Really.
The Miz: Look Christie I’m a big fan of your work and I’m not trying to get anyone into trouble here, hell I’m soon going to be the number one wrestler on this brand, the LAST thing I want to do is start making enemies now. However I do think it’s time that NXT started to look forward, to dare to dream, to aim for the stars! If NXT aims for the stars then they’ll find the biggest star in the UWF waiting for them- that’s me.
Y’see Christy there’s tin-foil hat wearning nut-bars all over this country, hell all over the world, who think that the world is gonna end on the 21st December. I can exclusively reveal right here tonight that they are wrong. Their misconception is based on an old Mayan prophecy, a prophecy misunderstood. The Mayans weren’t predicting the end of the world; they were simply foretelling the beginning of a new era, MY era! 2013 is the year of The Miz and I’m going to start that year by ending 2012 as NXT World Champion.
For weeks now I’ve been talking about a paradigm shift, and that’s not a cute little catchphrase of mine – although I’ll concede there are many – that is a guarantee of the change that is coming to UWF NXT. I embody the future of this business; Bully Ray however is the past, the ancient history, the prehistoric, knuckle-dragging Neanderthal of NXT and it’s time to make him extinct.
However, first of all tonight I gotta team with this guy. Luckily for him I’m a professional and I care more about getting yet another win under my belt tonight that I do about cheap-shotting him and letting mid-card fodder like Rhino and CM Punk raise their profile any higher. So tonight and I stress for one night only, I’ll work with Bully Ray, but as soon as the bell rings to signal that we’ve won the match then that team is over and we go back to business as usual. If at that point he gets in my face then I’ll give him an early Christmas present; a Reality Check that he will NEVER forget…
Christy Hemme: Are you done Miz? I think your three minutes are more than up.
The Miz: Almost, almost! Just give me a quick signal, who do ya love??
Christy Hemme gives up and walks out of the room continuing to the ring, The Miz tuts as she goes, after a few seconds he turns to the camera
The Miz: You might not have picked up on it… but she TOTALLY blinked once
He grins from ear to ear as the cameras return to ringside
Matt Striker: Welcome back to NXT, folks. Boy do you have eggnog on your face right now, Joey.
Joey Styles: Is reworking the saying to make it Christmas themed supposed to soften the blow?
Matt Striker: Not exactly, it just makes it funnier to me.
Joey Styles: I miss Taz.
Matt Striker: Well folks, while Joey sulks from the embarassment, I say let's keep the ball rolling and get to our next match!
The camera pans from the commentary table back to Christy Hemme in the ring as the opening bell sounds.
DING DING!
Christy Hemme: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a First Blood match! Introducing first...
"WHERE ALL MY BROS AT?"

The crowd ignites as “Radio†by Downstait hits the PA system and the “Long Island Iced Z†Zack Ryder makes his way out from the backstage area. Zack is all smiles despite the circumstances at hand as he throws up the LI.
Christy Hemme: From The L.I. Weighing in at two-hundred and fourteen pounds. He is the "Long Island Iced Z", Zack Ryder!
Zack makes his way down the ramp, looking out at all of the girls in attendance. He spots one he likes and calls out to her “CALL ME!†He then hops up onto the apron and climbs the turnbuckle and again throws up the LI.
Christy Hemme: And the opponent...

"Battle On" by the group War of Ages, the new theme of Seth Rollins, begins to play over the PA system as the man himself walks through the curtain, wearing black clothing that seems to resemble a bulletproof vest. He is joined by his stablemate, the NXT Extreme Champion Sting as both men make their way down the ramp.
Christy Hemme: Being accompanied to the ring by Sting. Representing the "Purveyors of Poison". From Buffalo, Iowa. Weighing in at 205 pounds, Seth Rollins!
As they arrive at the end of the ramp, Sting remains ringside as Seth enters the ring. He looks over at Zack with a serious look on his face, ready for the match ahead as the bell sounds again.
DING DING!
The match where the object is to make your opponent bleed begins and Ryder and Rollins tentatively look at each other from each side of the ring. Rollins is shaking his head, sick of Ryder's pandering to the crowd, he wants to get into the action. Ryder and Rollins approach each other in the centre of the ring, Rollins pushes Zack Ryder and yells at him that he is fake. That he is nothing. Ryder looks at Rollins and shakes his head at his former friend and then immediately throws a right hook at his face dropping Seth to the mat below. Rollins is quick to his feet but Ryder has pushed him into the corner and he immediately launches into an assault throwing fists at the face of Rollins. Rollins drops down and Ryder takes some steps back into the corner, instead of pandering the crowd Ryder immediately runs at the seated Rollins in the corner and proceeds to hit him with the Broski Boot!. The referee rushes up to Rollins to check up on his condition, he appears however not to have been split open by the maneuver and so the match continues.
Joey Styles: Boot connects with face but he isn't bleeding.
Matt Striker: Yet...
Ryder wastes no time going after Rollins but Rollins simply trips Ryder with a Drop Toe Hold dropping him onto the middle turnbuckle. Rollins rolls out of harms reach and gets to his feet before leaping onto Ryder with a Corner Splash. Rollins immediately begins smashing Ryder upside the head with his right hand before putting Ryder up on the top rope. Rollins attempts to climb up onto the top rope to grab at Rollins but Ryder gets his hands up and hits Rollins upside the head and drops him down onto the mat below. Rollins gets back to his feet as Ryder leaps off the top rope with a Missile Dropkick. Rollins hits the mat hard but still no blood. Ryder gets back up, as does Rollins who stands against the ropes, Ryder runs at him and takes him over the top rope with a Crossbody. Both men hit the outside ring mats hard, Ryder taking the brunt of the bump landing face down on the floor as he overcooks the impact of the move by being somewhat overeager to defeat his opponent, Seth Rollins.
Matt Striker: Ryder's giving it his all... and look what it got him... a faceplant down on the floor.
Rollins is quick to his feet and he runs at Ryder who is using the barricade to get back to his feet. Rollins runs at smashes Ryder in the back of the head with a Knee Strike. Ryder is down on the floor when Rollins lays into him with the boot. Rollins grabs Ryder by the hair and drags him over to the ring steps where he puts his head down on top of the step before getting up and going for a stomp on the head of Ryder but Ryder slips out of harms way and Rollins' foot gets trapped between the post and the steps. This gives Ryder a clear opportunity to go and get himself the Ring Bell. He looks at the crowd and then gives it the 'Woo!, Woo!, Woo!' before running at Rollins and going for the big hit with the Ring Bell but Rollins somehow manages to wriggle free and Ryder hits nothing but the ring post which sends shocks up his hands making him drop the Ring Bell right into the hands of Rollins. Rollins steadies himself and as Ryder turns round shaking his hands, Rollins hits him over the head with the heavy steel Ring Bell!.
Joey Styles: Oh my god!, Ring Bell to the face, he must surely be busted open.
Matt Striker: Surprisingly it appears not Joey!.
Ryder is in fact not bleeding but he is knocked out. Rollins looks down at Ryder and picks him up, he hits him over the head until Ryder falls down into a seated position against the ring steps. Rollins then walks over to the position of the ring announcer and time keeper, it's there he finds Zack Ryder's sunglasses. He looks at them and laughs at them before walking over to Ryder. There's a hint of insanity in Seth Rollins' eye as he smashes the sunglasses over the head of Ryder. This doesn't split Ryder open, but it does send the glass shattering into shards. Rollins picks up a particularly big shard and stands over the fallen Ryder. Ryder shakes his head but Rollins does not care for his pleads as he drives the shard down into the forehead of Ryder causing him to bleed, Rollins pulls the shard across the head of Ryder and then throws it to the ground before pulling Ryder up from the floor and taking a few steps back before hitting him with the Black Out putting a full stop at the end of the brawl.

Christy Hemme: Here is your winner, Seth Rollins!
Sting joins Seth in the ring as the two pose, celebrating his victory. The NXT cameras pan backstage.
We head backstage to see Johnny Curtis standing while Maxine is rubbing lotion on his back.
Johnny Curtis
Oh hey there. I didn't quite see you. I'm just so used to people admiring me everywhere I go that I don't really see when people are watching me. But don't worry, at News Revolution, Maxine here will watch my back. Hell she might just join me in the match. I know she wants to get revenge against that meat head Brock Lesner.
Maxine
Revenge? No we got revenge when you beat roided up loser at Survivor Series. The thing is though, you just won't survive this time, no I’m going to make sure you make that asshole quit just like you did Sheamus. Revenge isn't what I'm looking forward. I'm looking forward to the absolute destruction of Brock Lesner.
I love it when she gets angry! But Brock's not our only problem. Taz has decided to step away from watching me wrestle to trying to be me wrestling. It's clear that I was the motivation for him to get back in the ring. The guy didn't ever want to give me my props in the ring so now I'm going to make him. I'm going to work him down to his knees and make him praise me before I take him out with my flying leg drop across his face. Then we won't be able to praise anyone else because his jaw will be wired shut!
And before you guys say anything, because there's a lot of people out there who think of us as some kind of joke, we are being one hundred percent serious. I am nothing but serious and I will show it at New Year's Revolution.
People want to think we're joking. People don't take me as a serious threat. Sure I like entertaining the crowd every time I go out there but I'm also a damn good competitor. Sting has been trying to hold us down ever since he rose to power but it won't happen anymore. I'll beat Taz and Lesner and then hopefully beat Sting, and I only say hopefully because who knows if he'll actually retain. He might just lose it to get out of fighting me. NXT will be better when I become the NXTreme Champion. But first I have to get through Taz and Lesner. Both of them are big guys and both of them have had impressive careers. Compared to me on paper, it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that one of them would win. Oh but wait would you look at this.
Curtis bends down and picks something up
Looks like I got a ace in the hole.
Johnny Curtis smiles at the camera as we head to commercial.

COMMERCIAL THREE
Don't miss Smackdown this week. The "King of the Mountain" meets "Latino Heat" in a non-title encounter, RVD takes on the returning Brooklyn Brawler, Jeff Hardy faces Edge and Dolph Ziggler in a Handicap match, and the tag titles are on the line as Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt defend against John Cena and Dean Ambrose!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The scene opens with Jeremy Borash.
Jeremy Borash: Welcome everybody. My name is Jeremy Borash. This is UWF Wednesday Night NXT and what a night it has been so far. Do not change the channel just yet, we have a plenty more to come. Up next, we have The Big Red Monster going one-on-one with the man who made his return at Survivor Series and my guest at this time, The Greatest Man That Ever Lived.
Austin Aries joins JB and turns his back towards the camera. After a while he turns to JB.
Jeremy Borash: Austin Aries, tonight you are going one-on-one with Kane. Thoughts?
Austin Aries: Thoughts? Tonight I have to battle a guy who pretends to be a monster because Sting is not man enough to deal with me on his own. But when you asked me about my thoughts I knew what you meant. You wanted to know if I'm afraid of Kane. To answer that question...no, I'm not afraid of Kane. Why should I be afraid of him? Because he's wearing a mask and he's looking scary when he walks down the entrance ramp? Give me a break. Take away his mask, his scary looks and what do you have? A huge slow baby. Now, I'm not gonna pretend that I'm some monster slayer but throughout my career I faced men who are far more dangerous than Kane and Sting combined so no, I'm not worried about tonight's match because I'm more than sure I'll walk out victorious. Next question.
Jeremy Borash: At New Year's Revolution you're scheduled to face Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins hasn't been a on roll since arriving on NXT. Do you see him as a threat?
Aries looks right into the camera with a sort of "really?" look on his face.
Austin Aries: Oh, Seth Rollins. What a good kid. Anyway...a threat? Our match won't be a number one contender's match or anything with an important stipulation which would benefit me. But...it already benefited me in a way. JBL came to me and told me he's going to pay me if I agree to face Rollins at New Year's Revolution. I already have the money and after the Pay-Per-Piew I will be even heavier. So I don't see Rollins as a threat. I see him as a stepping stone to a better future. I will open the new Year of Austin Aries as the last man standing with my foot placed over Rollins' chest and my hand raised in victory. Oh, it feels good to be great. Now, if you'll excuse me, I gotta get rollin.
Aries winks at the camera before leaving. The scene fades to black as the cameras return to ringside.

Christy Hemme: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first...

Christy Hemme: Being accompanied to the ring by the NXT Extreme Champion Sting and Seth Rollins. Representing the "Purveyors of Poison" and hailing from Parts Unknown. Weighing in at three hundred and twenty-three pounds. He is the "Big Red Monster", Kane!
After the introductions are finished, the lights come up and Seth and Sting are standing at ringside as Kane is inside of the ring as he raises his arms at his sides into the air and drops them, causing fire to shoot from the turnbuckles as he turns his attention to the stage and awaits his opponent.
Christy Hemme: And the opponent...
People in the arena are having a good time watching UWF NXT when all of a sudden lights in the arena go off.

!!!LIGHTS OUT!!!

Lights Out by Hollywood Undead starts playing through the arena speakers and people automaticaly start booing the arrival of A Double, Austin Aries who emerges from behind wearing a cape.
Austin Aries' cape is slightly shining when he turns around. Aries extends his hands as he walks down the ramp. As Aries is walking down to the ring pyros are exploding behind his back.
Christy Hemme: From Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Weighing in at two-hundred and ten pounds, he is the "Greatest Man That Ever Lived", Austin Aries!
When Aries is in front of the ring he lies down on the apron and puts his hand in the air. Aries then stands up and faces the ring. The camera angle focuses on Aries' cape.
Aries then uses the ropes to catapult himself into the ring. When Aries lands on his feet he turns around couple of times. Then he unclips his cape and faces his opponents as the match gets underway.
DING DING!
The match begins as Austin and Kane lock up in the middle of the ring. Kane simply shoves the smaller Aries down to the mat as Aries gets up and runs back at Kane who levels him with a big boot! Austin collapses to the mat as Kane looks down at him, reaching down and grabbing onto his arm, pulling him violently to a vertical base. Kane pretends to irish whip his opponent, then pulls him back towards himself, leveling Aries with a short-arm clothesline.
Austin falls to the mat again as Kane shows no remorse, pulling him back to a vertical base by his arm and connecting with another short-arm clothesline. Kane hooks the leg and goes for the pin attempt.
ONE!
TWO!
NO! Aries kicks out!
Matt Striker: Kane is taking advantage of the size difference here.
Joey Styles: It's a sound strategy, all he has to do is keep the momentum on his side.
Kane yells at thre ref that it was a three count, before picking up Aries and placing his head between his legs. Kane hoists Aries into powerbomb position and lifts him as high as he can but suddenly Aries connects with a well-placed thumb to the eye, breaking the hold as Austin locks his legs around Kane's neck on the way down and connects with a successful headscissor takedown! Both men get back to their feet relatively quickly, except Kane is groggy as Aries capitalizes on the situation by charging across the ring and connecting with a running enziguiri to the back of his head. Kane falls to the mat face first and rolls over onto his back as Aries makes the quick cover.
ONE!
TWO!
NO! Kane powers out!
Matt Striker: That's how quick Aries is, all he needs is a small window of opportunity to put himself in the driver's seat.
Joey Styles: That's why it was imperative that Kane stay in control, he fares much better in a fist fight than he does a fast-paced match.
Aries attempts to pick up Kane but Kane knees him in the gut and irish whips him into the nearest set of ropes. As Austin returns, he attempts a crossbody but Kane catches him and reverses the situation into a fallaway slam! Aries rolls across the mat under the bottom rope, falling to the outside floor and landing with a sickening thud. Kane follows him to the outside of the ring and brings him to a vertical base, bringing him back down in no time with a scoop slam. Aries writhes in pain as Kane continues to show no remorse, picking up his opponent and irish whipping him into the steel steps as Austin hits shoulder first. Kane picks him up and throws him back into the ring, following closely after and going for the pin.
ONE!
TWO!
NO! Aries gets a shoulder up!
Kane can't believe it as he gets in the referee's face, yelling at him that it was a three count. Kane picks up Aries and hooks his arm, before dropping him to the mat again with a swinging neckbreaker. Kane follows up this not often seen offense as he begins to viciously stomp away at Aries on the mat until the referee tells Kane to back off. Kane ignores him and picks up Aries, irish whipping him into the ropes and going for a big boot when he is launched back. Aries ducks it and runs to the opposite ropes, bouncing off and heading in Kane's direction again, who lifts him into the air but Aries runs up his chest and connects with a dropkick!
Aries sends Kane stumbling back into the corner as Austin falls to the mat, feeling the effects of Kane's assault. Aries gets back to his feet slowly as Kane stumbles to the middle of the ring. Aries quickly makes his way to the turnbuckle and climbs to the top, leaping off and connecting with a double knee smash to the face of the standing Kane, who is brought to the mat by Austin's momentum. Aries gets up and grabs Kane by the head, beginning to pull him to a vertical base but as he does, Kane shoves Austin off of him as Aries collides with the referee and knocks him down. Kane goozles Aries and plants him with a devastating chokeslam!
Matt Striker: Ooh! That chokeslam can be read on the Richter scale, Joey! This one's over!
Joey Styles: Well it likely would be, but the referee is out cold!
Kane sees the referee is down and walks over, shaking him in an attempt to wake him as the referee begins to stir. Suddenly...

Darren Young comes running down the entrance ramp and slides into the ring, undetected by Sting and Rollins at ringside, running up behind Kane and applying a full nelson, lifting Kane and spinning out into a flapjack.
Matt Striker: The Heat Wave!
Joey Styles: What is he doing here?
Darren gets up and grabs Austin by the arm, dragging him across the mat and draping the arm over Kane. He then rolls out of the ring and runs up the entrance ramp to the backstage area as Sting and Rollins chase after him. The referee crawls over slowly as he begins to make the count.

DING DING!
Christy Hemme: Here is your winner, Austin Aries!
Aries gets to a vertical base and leans over Kane, pointing to his temple with his finger, taunting him.
Matt Striker: Well Kane unfortunately has suffered yet another loss here tonight.
Joey Styles: Unfairly, to boot. What was the motivation behind Darren Young getting involved in this one?
Matt Striker: Hopefully we'll get some answers in the near future. Until then, stay with us folks, more NXT after this!

Back from commercial, it is now time for the main event.

As CM Punk comes out, there is a heavily split mix reaction for him. CM Punk though doesn't look to be in the best of moods. Punk makes his way straight for the ring
Christy Hemme: From Chicago, Illinois. Weighing in at two-hundred and eighteen pounds, C.M. Punk!
Punk enters the ring and gets ready for the match ahead as Christy continues the introductions.
Christy Hemme: And the partner...
"GORE! GORE! GORE!"

The crowd unites into a chorus of cheers as "Stampede" by Dale Oliver roars over the PA system. Jonathan Coachman and the man himself walk out onto the stage as Rhino throws his arms into the air, inciting more cheers from the crowd.
Christy Hemme: From Detroit, Michigan. Weighing in at two-hundred and seventy pounds. He is the "Man Beast", Rhino!
Rhino charges the ring and slides into it upon arrival, standing up and instantly getting into fight mode as he awaits the contest ahead.
Christy Hemme: And the opponents. Introducing first...
AWWWWWWESOME!

“I Came to Play†by Downstait begins to play as the crowd erupts into boos. While this is going on, the ever-cocky Miz makes his way out onto the stage and leans forward, standing up and extending his arms into the air as he does his trademark pose.
Christy Hemme: From Cleveland, Ohio. Weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds, The Miz!
The Miz makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring, looking smug as he awaits his partner.
Christy Hemme: And the partner...

A familiar whistling sound is heard as "The Beaten Path" bellows out in the arena and the boos ensue, followed by the arrival of the NXT World Champion. He looks at crowd with a rather large grin, obviously smug about the title on his shoulder, as he makes his way down the ramp.
Christy Hemme: From Hell's Kitchen, New York. Weighing in at three-hundred and twenty-six pounds. He is the NXT World Champion, Bully Ray!
Bully shouts a few brags on the way down to the ring and points at his calves at one instance, before making his way into the ring.
DING DING!
CM Punk and Rhino stare one another down before Rhino steps through the ropes and takes his place on the apron. On the opposite side of the ring, it is decided that Bully Ray will start as Miz steps through the ropes and stands on the apron. Ray and Punk meet with a collar-and-elbow tie-up and each jockey for position until Ray grabs his opponent into a headlock. Ray is strong but Punk uses all of his weight to shove Bully off of him as the big man is launched into the ropes. As he comes back, Punk takes him down with a shoulder block. Punk runs into the ropes himself, and as Ray gets up, he takes him down with another shoulder block.
Punk is pumping with adrenaline and scoop slams Ray once he returns to a vertical base. Punk follows it up by bouncing off of the ropes a third and final time, delivering a falling elbow drop, driving the point of his elbow into Ray's heart. Punk goes for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
NO! Ray kicks out!
Punk looks almost pleased that Ray kicked out as he lifts him back to his feet and whips him into his corner. The crowd cheers as Punk tags in Rhino and the "Man Beast" goes to work on Ray, hitting him in the stomach with his entire body weight focused in his knee. Ray doubles over holding his stomach in pain but Rhino doesn't let up as he nails Ray in the head with a big right hand that sends the World Champion to the mat. After impact is made, Rhino grabs Ray's legs and lifts him up by them so that he goes up and comes crashing lower back first into the mat. Ray shoots up in pain trying to reach his corner, but Rhino clotheslines him to the mat hard.
Matt Striker: So far Rhino and Punk are definitively in the driver's seat. Bully Ray may need to make a tag here.
Ray sits up still holding his back in pain as Rhino turns and connects with a running kick to the chest. The crowd, "Ooh!"'s as Ray is knocked onto his back and Rhino goes for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
THR...NO! Ray gets a shoulder up!
Rhino doesn’t look bothered by this turn of events much as he bounces off the ropes and attempts a leg drop that will surely doom Ray, but Ray manages to move out of the way and Rhino is forced to crash and burn. Ray realizes he needs to make a tag to his Miz, but Rhino isn't hurt that badly and is able to get to a vertical base, intercepting the tag as he whips Ray hard into the corner. Ray comes stumbling forward out of the corner as Rhino nearly cuts him in half with the
Gore! Rhino goes for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
THR...NO!
Miz kicks Rhino in the back of the head disrupting the cover. Rhino storms to his feet and the ref is quick to get between them forcing The Miz back to his corner. While the ref is distracted, Punk hops off the apron and reaches into the ring, grabbing Ray by the ankle and bringing him into the corner, pulling him groin first into the steel ring post. The crowd emits a mixed reaction as Punk returns to the apron and Ray is left writhing in pain, holding his crotch area.
Matt Striker: Well Miz has proven himself willing to help Bully Ray, but CM Punk and Rhino are still the more fluid team in this one so far.
Joey Styles: I've never seen Bully Ray on the receiving end of so much abuse.
Rhino turns back to Ray seeing that the damage has been done as he drags Ray back to his corner and tags Punk back into the match. Rhino exits the ring as Punk enters it quickly, beginning to stomp on the forehead of Bully Ray. Punk grins as he lifts Ray to his feet and grabs him, whipping him hard off the ropes, attempting a clothesline but Ray ducks it, coming off of the opposite ropes and connecting with a flying elbow. Punk is quick to his feet and Ray isn't far behind as Punk connects with a brutal knife edge chop, forcing Ray to take refuge in a corner as Punk connects with another chop.
Punk gets a hold of Bully Ray and places him on top of the turnbuckle in a sitting position. Punk climbs up to meet Ray and begins to lock up the superplex, but suddenly Ray begins to fight back. He connects with several right hands to Punk's solar plexus before delivering a headbutt that sends Punk flying off of the turnbuckle to the mat back first. Bully Ray stands up on the turnbuckle as Punk gets to a vertical base on the mat. Ray then jumps and connects with a picture perfect crossbody! Ray goes for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
NO! Punk powers out!
Both men get to their feet as Ray goes for a bicycle kick, but Punk ducks it. Ray turns around and gets hit from out of nowhere with a huge Pele' kick as both men crash to the mat from exhaustion.
Matt Striker: Ray is going the distance in this contest!
Joey Styles: It's impressive that he's still going, but I strongly recommend he makes the tag soon.
The exhaustion in both men is further made evident by the fact that both of them slowly crawl their way to their respective partners. Miz stands on the apron, hopping back and forth anxiously, dying for the tag. Inch by inch Ray gradually gets to his corner as Punk tags out to Rhino, who enters the ring as Punk exits, and it is at that moment that Ray makes the tag to Miz.
Rhino rushes Miz looking for a clothesline, but Miz ducks it before connecting with a few hard knife edge chops. Punk, trying to end the momentum attempts to take a cheap shot, but Miz moves and Punk collides with his partner. With both men staggered Miz whips Punk into a corner. Miz charges and sandwiches Punk between himself and the corner with a body splash. While this was going on, Rhino had taken refuge in the opposite corner as Miz takes off running and delivers a body splash to him as well.
Matt Striker: The Miz is a house of fire!
Miz looks at both men before deciding to go after Rhino, dragging him to the center of the ring and looking for a leg submission but Rhino is able to use his lower body strength to kick Miz off of him and towards the ropes. As Miz approaches the ropes, Punk pulls down the top one and Miz takes a spill to the outside.
Miz gets to his feet and the "Straight Edge Superstar" looks like he is going to do something terrible but he never gets the chance as Bully Ray comes rushing onto the scene and begins unleashing big right hands on Punk, going so far as to even send his opponent’s head into the announce table. This allows Miz to get back into the ring, but it is nonetheless a bad idea as Rhino nearly takes his head off with a brutal big boot. Rhino goes for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
THR...NO! Miz gets a shoulder up!
Rhino cannot believe it as he gets in the referee's face, who tells him that it wasn't a three count. In response, Rhino grabs him and goes to spike his head into the mat with the
Rhino Driver but Bully Ray slides into the ring and hits a running dropkick on Rhino to prevent it. Rhino gets up as Ray wraps his arms around Rhino's head, springboarding off of the ropes and connecting with a brutal DDT. Ray returns to the apron as Miz gets to a vertical base, waiting for Rhino to get to his feet.
Joey Styles: Rhino may be circling the drain, Matt. I think Miz wants to end this one!
Matt Striker: With someone as brutal as Rhino, I'd say that's a smart choice.
Miz is focused on Rhino so he doesn’t see Punk come into the ring with a steel chair until its too late as he turns and is struck in the head with a brutal chair shot. Punk throws the chair down as Rhino gets to a vertical base, making his way over to Miz to cover him, but as he does Punk lifts him onto his shoulders and throws him forward, catching him in the face with a rising knee as Rhino falls to the mat.
Joey Styles: Punk just hit his own partner with the GTS!
Punk grabs Rhino by the wrist and drags him over to their corner, then leaps over the top rope onto the apron and tags himself in, leaping over the top rope to re-enter the ring as he goes after Miz, bringing him to a vertical base. Punk connects with the
GTS and covers Miz.
