The crowd go wild for the launch of the yellow brand of UWF. NXT. Pyro blasts out from the stage in every direction imaginable, lighting up the stage in a sea of yellow. As the pyro dies down the camera does a pan of the arena to show all of the excited fans. The theme music of NXT continues to play until the camera centres on our commentary team of Joey Styles and Tazz.
Joey Styles: Welcome Everyone to UWF Monday Night NXT, on a night where we kick off the Gold Rush Tournament to find a new number one contender to Randy Ortons NXT World Championship. I’m Joey Styles alongside as always my broadcast parter Taz.
Taz: I’ll tell you what Joey if there’s something that gets me excited around here is a good old fashioned tournament.
Joey Styles: You’ve got that right partner and speaking of which lets take a look at what we’ve got in store tonight.
*The screen goes to the titantron showing the tournament bracket.*
Taz: 8 men all gunning for the title Randy Orton has right now, and this is their opportunity to make a name for themselves. You lose your out simple as that.
Joey Styles: Derrick Bateman vs. Jimmy Jacobs, Michael McGillicutty makes his debut against Sheamus, the very controversial CM Punk takes on the Monster Abyss and up next we have the Zack Ryder taking on the war machine known as Brock Lesnar. Let’s get things started and find out who is moving on to the semi-finals.
Christy Hemme: The following contest is a Gold Rush Tournement match set for one fall...
WHERE ALL MY BRO'S AT?
The crowd comes unglued as the “Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder makes his way out from the back. He seems to be in a great mood as he looks out to some girls in the crowd and yells “Call me!”. He then walks down the ramp towards the ring. Zack then gets to the ring and hops onto the apron and scales the top rope and throws up the LI hand signal.
Christy Hemme: Introducing first, from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 215 pounds, he is the 'Long Island Iced Z', Zack Ryder!.
The theme song starts as the most dominant force in UWF is coming to arena. The crowd boo "The Beast" Brock Lesnar but he don't cares, because the look in his eyes tells everything... He came to show dominance and who is the best on this show and in this business! He walks down the ramp, then he stops looks at one man from crowd, smiles at him and after this he jumps goes to ring.
Christy Hemme: And his opponent, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar!.
Vs
The match begins with Zack Ryder tepidly stepping towards the centre of the ring, towards Brock Lesnar who just waits, hands up, ready to fight. Ryder seems unsure whether or not to approach Lesnar, but finally decides to simply jump at him. Zack launches into an attack with a leaping shot to the temple, he then unloads with a flurry of blows to the head of Lesnar, but Lesnar simply lifts him up on his shoulder and runs across the ring to the ring corner where he shoulder charges Ryder three times before lifting him up and tossing him across the ring to the other side like a rag doll. Ryder gets himself back to his feet in the corner, but Lesnar quickly charges at him, Ryder sees it coming and slips out of the ring, Lesnar charges shoulder first into the ring corner. Ryder gets up quickly onto the top rope and launches off with a Missile Dropkick which knocks Lesnar off of his feet onto his back. Ryder seems a tad over-excited and fist-pumps for the crowd, unaware that Lesnar is straight back to his feet and as he turns around Lesnar just hooks him with a straight punch to the face, Ryder falls out of the ring between the middle and top rope, his face now bloodied. The referee warns Lesnar about the use of the fist, but Lesnar just laughs it off and asks the ref what he's going to do to stop him.
Styles: Oh come on!, that's an illegal move, he was a mixed martial arts champion, surely a punch from Lesnar should be outlawed just through common sense.
Tazz: Well it is illegal, and if he does it again, I wouldn't want to be the referee who has to disqualify him.
Lesnar drops out to the outside, rolling out of the ring towards the downed Ryder who's lip is busted up. Lesnar grabs Ryder by the hair and raises him to his feet, he Irish Whips him into the ring post. Zack Ryder takes a violent collision off of the ring post with his head and falls straight back on the floor. Lesnar drags his carcass into the ring before getting into the ring himself. Lesnar stands over Ryder almost mocking him. He stands over Ryder as Ryder tries to get to a vertical base, blood now pouring from his brow, he's been busted open hardway again this time with the ring post. Lesnar looks dominant as he stands over Ryder and as Ryder scratches and claws his way to his feet using Lesnar for support Lesnar drives a pointed elbow down into the open brow of Ryder, Ryder does not fall back down but is dazed by the blow. Lesnar then shoots for the Kimura, but Ryder has enough wits about him to grab onto the ring ropes forcing the referee to break the hold after the count of four. Paul Heyman however gets up on the ring apron and grabs the referees attention as Brock proceeds to drop down and put on the Kimura lock behind the referee's back. As the referee turns back around Lesnar breaks the hold, however the damage looks to have been done.
Styles: That Kimura Lock is so devastating, he's already had a hand in breaking Orton's arm, now he's looking to do it to Ryder... and I think he does it for the enjoyment more than anything else Tazz!.
Tazz: He's a big sick dude Joey, that's for sure.
Ryder again rolls out to the outside. Lesnar doesn't pursue him however and begins to taunt the crowd, mockingly fist pumping, parodying one of their favourites. Ryder is somehow getting to his feet, such is his courage and drive. Lesnar walks over to the ring ropes, reaches over with his long arms and grabs Ryder by the head, lifting him up onto the ring apron, however Ryder gets his thumb up into the eye of Lesnar, fighting dirty with dirty, before jaw jacking Lesnar on the top rope with a Hotshot. Ryder gets himself up on the ring apron again and as Lesnar regains his senses, Ryder slingshots into the ring with a Shoulder Block to Brock, sending 'The Beast' stumbling backwards. Ryder gets to his feet and lands a big Standing Dropkick sending Lesnar again stumbling back, this time he ends up in the ring corner. Ryder runs at Lesnar and hits him with another big Dropkick in the corner. Lesnar drops down into a seated position, now dazed by Ryder's suprising onslaught. Ryder looks down at the wounded Lesnar and sees his opportunity. He goes into the adjacent corner, he wipes the blood from his forehead and fist pumps as the crowd chant 'Woo, Woo, Woo' with him before he charges at Lesnar and hits quite possibly the most brutal Broski Boot ever seen, almost taking Lesnar head off with the stiff shot, perhaps revenge for the punch to the face earlier in the match.
Styles: OH, he just about took his head off with that Broski Boot, am I sensing some momentum building for Ryder here?. Can he do it?.
Tazz: I don't know, I think Brock is just waiting to finish him off in all honesty, I don't know if that arm can hold up if he locks in another one of those Kimuras.
Ryder tries to drag Lesnar back to the centre of the ring, but Brock is just so massive that he can barely move him and Brock gets to his feet and takes Ryder down with a typical Amatuer Wrestling takedown. Lesnar is on top of Ryder, but Ryder has wrapped his arms around the head of Lesnar and is not letting him in his guard. Eventually Lesnar gets his head up and his fists up also, the referee however stops Lesnar before he can go in with the punches. Lesnar raises his hand regardless as Ryder struggles to cover his face. The referee steps in however and grabs Lesnar's hand before he can bring it down. Lesnar gets off of Ryder and pulls his hand away from the referee. Lesnar intimidates the referee. Paul Heyman steps up onto the apron and tries to calm Lesnar down before he gets himself disqualified. Lesnar listens to Paul who calms him down, however as he turns around Ryder runs at him and hits him with the Rough Ryder!. The crowd go absolutely wild as Ryder hits his signature finishing manoeuvre, Ryder covers the fallen Lesnar. The referee fast counts.

Lesnar rolls the shoulder out. Paul Heyman slides into the ring and gets in the referees face after fast count, he admonishes the ref pointing his finger at the ref, right in his face so he is. This forces the referee to send Heyman to the back.
Styles: Finally, I'm glad the referee has saw sense and sent that madman to the back.
Tazz: Hey show some respect, he used to be our boss. Although on that note, he owes me a load of money... yeah, screw him.
Lesnar gets up and Ryder goes for another Rough Ryder, however Lesner this time catches him, pulls his other leg up and drops Ryder with a Powerbomb. Lesnar keeps his arms clasped around Ryder and lifts him up again and Powerbombs him yet again. He does this a final third time before releasing Ryder. Lesnar looks about and sees his manager has been sent to the back, he looks at the referee, the referee tells him he'll DQ him if he lays a finger on him, Lesnar tells him he won't get the chance to when he's knocked out. Lesnar then turns round as Ryder just gets to his feet and grabs the stunned Long Island Native. He hoists him up onto his shoulder in position for the F-5. However he takes his time showboating, walking around the ring with Ryder helpless on his shoulder, eventually he does swing Ryder round, however Ryder manages to use the momentum to reverse the F-5 into a Crucifix Pin attempt.

Lesnar gets out, both men rush to their feet however Ryder has hits wits about him and leaps into the air hitting Lesnar with a second Rough Ryder!. Ryder covers.

Winner and advancing: Zack Ryder!
Zack Ryder has his hand raised by the referee before quickly rolling out of the ring away from the quite predictably angry Brock Lesnar.
Styles: He did it!, Zack Ryder just pinned 'The Beast'!.
Tazz: Lesnar brought the pain, but he forgot to bring his luck and he just got beat by this guy!.
Styles: And with that in mind let’s take a look at the standing now
In the ring Lesnar sees the tron for a moment before he gets up, the referee Charles Robinson looks up at Lesnar. Lesnar grabs Robinson, lifts him into the air onto his shoulders, he then spins him around and drops him with an F-5!.
Styles: God dammit Brock!, that's a UWF official, you can't do that!.
Paul Heyman comes rushing to the ring as Zack Ryder slowly walks back down the ramp towards the ring. He runs right past Ryder and into the ring, he begs Brock to stop and tells Ryder to just leave and that it's beneficial if he were to do so.
Styles: I think it's crazy that Brock Lesnar needs a handler, the guy's a former World Champion in both Pro Wrestling and MMA... surely he has some grip on his anger?.
Heyman calms Brock down as Ryder helps the referee out of the ring and up the ramp, the crowd still in shock over the manhandling of the official as the screen fades backstage.
We head to the backstage area and find Johnny Curtis and Maxine standing in the back talking before Derrick Bateman comes up to them.

Look Derrick, about last week.
Derrick Bateman
Don't mention it. Curtis and I talk all the time. We've gotten past it and I've read all your texts (
Curtis mouths the words "texts?" with a confused look on his face)
and E-Mails but Curtis and I have buried the hatchet. We hang out off screen unlike the two of us.
Curtis and Bateman bump fists.
Johnny Curtis
Don't worry Maxy, we talked it over. We're cool. I trust him to win his matches like you should too. There's a reason why we work together. We know each others ins and outs and I know when he needs my help. Last week he didn't need me. By the way, when are we gonna get that drink?
Maxine
Well since Derrick didn't win, never.
Johnny Curtis
What about if he wins tonight? I'd say that would make up for it.
Maxine
Alright if Derrick wins tonight, I'll go get drinks with you but first attention back to Derrick. Look as your manager and consultant, I stepped over the line when I asked Johnny to help you win when you clearly had the situation handled. I just wanted to apologize to you once again and make sure we're on the same page. Are we on the same page?
Bateman thinks it over for awhile and nods his head.
Derrick Bateman
Yeah we're fine. Just keep getting me matches and I'll keep winning them.
Maxine walks off as Curtis gets closer to Bateman.
Johnny Curtis
Hey I know you can win your match tonight and everything but make extra sure you win it because if you do, not only are you one step closer to becoming the NXT Champion, I'm also going to get really weird tonight. And it's going to be with a lady this time.
Derrick Bateman
Well I don't know if I would call her that but make sure to be safe.
Curtis starts to walk off in the distance

No safe words in my house!
Bateman smiles and starts to warm up for his match as we head back to the ring.

“THE TRUTH… HAS SET ME FREE!” are the words heard throughout the arena, as the fans erupt in boos! Suddenly, the nXtreme Champion R-Truth makes his way out on the stage, with an angry expression on his face. Truth stops at the entrance stage, as he throws his arms up in the air, screaming out “
WHAT’S UP!?” in the process. The fans respond with boos, as Truth spoke to himself, mouthing off insults toward the audience. Truth is currently sporting a white bullet proof vest, and his usual wrestling attire from down low. Truth makes his way down the entrance steps, ignoring the Little Jimmies and Little Jennies trying to get a hand slap. Truth walked over to the steel steps before hiking up them and entering the ring. Truth walked over to the turnbuckle, before climbing up it, raising the nXtreme Championship up in the air to a chorus of boos. Truth lowered the microphone as he grabbed a microphone from the side, speaking.
CAAAAAAAALGAAAAAARY…. AAAAAAAALBEEEEEEERTAAAA… CAAAAAANAAAAADAA!
The audience responded with boos toward R-Truth who shakes his head in the ring, before rubbing his nXtreme Championship as he continues.
SHUT UP!
Obviously, R-Truth didn’t receive the reaction he planned on receiving. Truth is responded by painful jeers, as they don’t care for Truth and his insults.
R-Truth: We gon’ celebrate, y’all! Nah, IT AIN’T THE FOURTH OF JULY, LITTLE JIMMY! We ain’t lightin’ off no firecracka’s up in ‘ere, so shut up Jimmy! Nah, y’all, we gon’ celebrate ‘cause as you can SEE, at Vengeance, The Truth stole the show! No one else but the Truth an’ that means I’m still YOUR nXtreme Champion! None o’ y’all ‘xpected me to walk out Vengeance still with championship gold. Nu-uh, all o’ y’all ‘xpected Sting to walk out with my championship but y’all was WRONG! All o’ y’all is wrong so the people in the audience booin’ The Truth, sit’cho ass down an’ get used to this scene ‘cause it’s gon’ stay like this for a LOOOOOOOOONG time! This scene ain’t changin’, no one’s gon’ beat me an’ take away my championship gold. Y’all might as well call this the Truth championship ‘cause I’m keepin’ this until the end of time! Y’all betta’ believe that!
Boo’s rang throughout the arena as R-Truth has a huge smile on his face, soaking in all the jeers and insults coming from the audience. Truth doesn’t care, obviously as he begun to pace around the ring, speaking.
R-Truth: At Vengeance, I gave that ol’ conspiracy a good ol’ BOOT in its behind! An’ I’ll continue to do that every time the dudes who be wearin’ the suits in the back want me to defend MY title. I ain’t jokin’ around y’all, I’m sick an’ tired of bein’ treated like some ordinary guy on the roster ‘CAUSE I AIN’T! I’m the best superstar on the roster, hell in the whole business an’ it’s ‘bout time people start recognizin’ true talent! So, with that bein’ said, I wanna’ talk about that dude who always be screamin’ “GORE” tryna scare me, ya’know who I’m talkin’ ‘bout?
The audience responds with “RHINO!” chants and soon followed by are “GORE!” chants being repeatedly screamed. R-Truth scowls at the fans, who continue to chant, and Truth quickly breaks it up.
R-Truth: OKIE DOKIE ARTICHOKIE! I get it, damn! His name is Rhino, so Rhino, I hope you were payin’ attention to what I did to ol’ Stinger at Vengeance. I told all o’ y’all Sting wasn’t competition for me an’ at Vengeance I proved it! Rhino, I know you want a piece of The Truth. I know you hungry, everyone’s hungry fo’ The Truth! Everyone wants to prove that they can beat me, but it ain’t gon’ happen, buddy. You ain’t gon’ beat me, matter o’ fact, you ain’t even gon’ get close! I ain’t gon’ let you, ‘cause you don’t deserve to be in the same ring as me! I’m the true Icon in this business, ‘ere, an’ to have some greasy meatball like you come in an’ challenge me? It ain’t gon’ happen, so you go in the back of the line an’ wait’cho turn.
R-Truth nodded his head at the audience, not wasting any time as he immediately continued to speak.
R-Truth: This ain’t Randy Orton’s brand, folks! It’s The Truth’s brand and GOOD LORD… we in the era of THE TRUTH. Tha’s the truth, the whole truth, and nothin’ but THE TRUTH!
The audience drowned the nXtreme Champion in boo’s who violently shake them off, before lowering the microphone down by his side as he scowled at the fans. R-Truth exited the ring, as he made his way up the ramp, before stopping and violently screaming behind him come on obviously speaking to Little Jimmy. Truth exited the arena, as the fans continued to boo as we go to commercial break.

Christy Hemme: The following contest is another Gold Rush Quarter Finals match...
Derrick Bateman's theme hits and he is all business tonight. He walks straight out from behind the curtain with an expressionless face, he knows what tonight means for his career if he can get the victory. He marches down to the ring and gets in the ring with no theatrics, just looking up to the ramp awaiting his opponent.
Christy Hemme: Introducing first from... America!... he weighs in tonight at 226 pounds. He is Derrick Bateman!.
Jimmy Jacobs bursts through the curtain onto the stage and wastes no time, much like Bateman in making his way down to the ramp. He slides up onto the ring apron and does a little bit of posing before stepping between the ropes and into the ring.
Christy Hemme: And his opponent, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, weighing in at 170 pounds... he is the 'Zombie Princess' Jimmy Jacobs!.
Vs
The match kicks off with a bang as Jacobs attacks Bateman from behind as Bateman throws his headband into the crowd. Jimmy Jacobs sets about kneeing Bateman in the corner and as Bateman drops down Jacobs unloads with right hands before placing his foot on the throat of Bateman and standing on the defenceless Mr. USA. The referee is forced to pull Jacobs off of Bateman who holds his throat in pain. Bateman is asked if he is okay to continue in which he answers 'for America?, always!'. Bateman gets up and as he does Jacobs runs at him and just launches himself at him, but Bateman side steps and Jacobs hits the top turnbuckle pad and bounces back off into the waiting arms of the Mantastic one who lifts the considerably smaller Jacobs up into the air with a Military Press before dropping him down behind him with the release Military Press Slam. Bateman walks away from the fallen Jacobs before hitting the ropes and running at Jacobs, he goes for an Elbow Drop, but Jacobs rolls out of the way and gets to his feet, both men are now on their feet and both go for Vertical Dropkicks at the same time hitting each other on the chin with impeccable timing.
Styles: For these two men, this is perhaps the biggest opportunity at stardom they have ever had. Who will take advantage?.
Tazz: My money is on Jimmy Jacobs, Joey. The kid just has that mean streak about him that shouts out 'star' to me personally.
Jacobs and Bateman again get back to their feet at the same, except this time they lock up. Bateman the bigger and stronger of the two men locks Bateman up in a Headlock before taking him over to the mat where he grins the Headlock. Bateman throws in some right hands for good measure before Jacobs gets his feet up and kicks Bateman in the back of the head until he breaks the hold. When they get back up Jacobs immediately spins round the back of Bateman and locks in a Hip Lock, but again Bateman uses his size and strength advantage to push his rear-end out and push Jacobs away. A frustrated Jacobs goes to lock up again but Bateman simply pushes him away down to the mat below. Jacobs says 'screw it' and slides out of the ring and begins to walk up the entrance ramp. Bateman says 'no' and shakes his head before getting out of the ring himself to run after Jacobs, but as he reaches Jacobs, the 'Emo Warrior' turns around and rakes the eyes of Bateman before hitting him with a DDT on the outside!. Bateman's head takes an awful bump down on the entrance ramp. Jacobs gets up, laughing at the downed opponent. Jacobs grabs Bateman by his vast amount of hair and drags him towards the ring before pushing him under the bottom rope.
Styles: Oh my!, what a DDT on the outside... I think that might just boost Jacobs' chances here tonight.
Tazz: Yeah, you got to believe that Bateman is seeing stars right now.
Jacobs gets into the ring and looks down at the fallen Bateman. Instead of covering however, Jacobs wants to put on a show nobody will ever forget and thus drags Bateman towards the corner of the ring before heading up to the top rope. Upon reaching the top rope Jacobs raises his arms in the air before diving off with his signature High Angle Senton Bomb, he goes for it, soaring high into the sky however Derrick Bateman manages to get his knees up and Jacobs lands down across said knees, flipping straight back over onto his face on the mat holding the small of the back. Bateman slowly drags himself to his feet using the ring corner. He turns round and sees the fallen Jacobs and quickly covers.

Jacobs rolls the shoulder out. Bateman looks up the referee holding up three fingers, he then stands up, accepting that he must do better to put away such a tough opponent. He heads to the top rope himself and just waits for Jacobs to get back to his feet and when he does his launches himself off with a Missile Dropkick, but Jacobs simply dodges it and quickly grabs Bateman around the head upon impact and Guillotines it locking in the End Time.
Styles: Oh what a big miss for Bateman and now it looks like the end is near, will he tap out to Jacobs' End Time?.
Tazz: He's got to, the winds been knocked out of him and now he's being choked out!.
Bateman struggles on the mat as Jacobs keeps the hold tightly applied. However the crowd begin to chant 'USA!, USA!, USA!'... in support of Bateman... in Canada. Regardless, the ironic chanting is getting Bateman somehow to his feet. He begins to rise, Jacobs still hanging off of his neck. He gets to his knees somehow and then in one swift motion he lifts Jacobs up, arches back and drops him with a Northern Lights Suplex type move. He bridges for the cover.

Jacobs releases his choke hold and escapes the three count. Bateman gets up at the same time as Jacobs once more and again they engage, this time with Bateman cracking Jacobs with a right hand, Jacobs returns the favour with a chop to the chest. They trade these back and forth before the strength advantage of Bateman begins to show and he hits three successive right hands to the forehead of Jacobs before Irish Whipping him across the ring and upon his rebound Bateman lifts him up into the air and drops him with a Flapjack!.
Styles: The Flapjack!, Jimmy Jacobs landing hard down on the canvas!.
Tazz: I sense the end is near in this one Joey.
And indeed it may be as Bateman lifts Jacobs up and places him in the Headlock looking for the Mantastic. However Jacobs escapes and goes for the Big Boot, however Bateman side steps it, spins Jacobs around, locks the arm around the head and drives his head forward down into the mat and rolls through himself, hitting the Mantastic. Bateman covers surely for the victory.

Styles: Derrick Bateman and Zack Ryder have both advanced to the semi-finals of this tournament, and up next we shall find out who they will be facing in the semi-finals as Michael McG-
Mixed reactions from the crowd slowly arise interrupting Joey Styles, as Jonathan Coachmen emerges through the curtain. They are now unsure of how to react to not only Coachmen but to his client Rhino. Much like every week since their debut, Coachmen is alone as he slowly makes his way down to the ring. A cocky smile gracing his lips as he enters the ring and is immediately handed a microphone.
Jonathan Coachmen:
We told you, we told you this would happen. We tried to warn you of the circumstances that would come about if my client was not booked. And look what happened! At Vengeance my client took it upon himself to make his intentions very clear. At Vengeance he showed his dominance by not only giving Sting a Gore, but also looking directly into the face of R-Truth and telling him what he wanted. It is no surprise that yet again Rhino hasn’t been booked, but we don’t mind that so much this time. Our voices must have been heard last night. The crowd nearly demanded it as they chanted for my clients finishing move! And the reaction the crowd gave when my client looked directly at the current nXtreme Champion and made the gesture of a belt around his waist. I could relive that moment again and again! It is unfortunate that Sting was caught in the crossfire, but as old Stinger knows, it’s about making a statement. Now I’m sure Sting is angry at the idea of being used as a demonstration of Rhino’s dominance, but I assure you, he was not the intended target.
And Mister Truth, I hope the sight of what my client did really sunk in last night. It is the sight of what is to come. Now, I would like to address a certain somebody, that certain somebody being John Bradshaw Layfield. What exactly was going through your mind when you decided to not book my client in an important match at Vengeance? Furthermore, what was going through your mind when you saw my client nearly break one of your top stars in half? I’m sure a flood of different emotions swept through you as you watched on. But then, to have the audacity to not book him yet again, to instead take away his much deserved ring time for a mindless tournament? A tournament that doesn’t consist of my client I might add. All for the purpose of giving any of these idiots you have in the back a false hope that they could be something great. Fact of the matter is, when my client decides he is finished with R-Truth, he will set his eyes on your NXT World Champion. I do not pity the man foolish enough to step into the ring with Rhino when he does. Be it the broski Zack Ryder, or the current Champion Randy Orton, Rhino will see no difference. He will charge like a wild animal with all of his strength until you are forced to submit to the pain!
The crowd is a little more behind Coachmen as his words are filled with the intensity they enjoy. Coachmen continues as the words he had spoken have somehow inspired him to continue.
I don’t have to remind you all, of what my client is capable of. That would be extremely repetitive and tedious. To properly showcase my client’s raw intensity, you’d have to see him in a wrestling match. But don’t let my words enthrall you, let my client tell you. The crowd erupts into cheers as Rhino charges out from the entrance tarp. He stays at the top of the ramp for a few seconds, raises his arms and charges for the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and grabs the microphone from Coachmen. Coachmen walks over to the side of the ring and asks for another microphone as Rhino starts.
Rhino:
You all saw didn’t you?! I did exactly what I said I would do! I made a statement, I did some damage. In the end, you all cheered for me, you all ate that stuff up! And you know what? I enjoyed myself so much; I think I’ll continue to do it. What’s stopping me? Certainly not Layfield, he’s proven that he’s not man enough to come out here and talk to me man to man. I had to go out and grab what I wanted. And that was attention, attention of a champion. Unfortunately for me, the only time to present itself was at the end of that nXtreme Championship match. So count your lucky stars Orton that I didn’t have time for you. But R-Truth, I hope you understand that this means some real kind of pain for you. You have something I want. And I’m in that mood of getting what I want.
The crowd shows their support for the Man Beast as he looks straight towards the ramp area.
Now all of you in the back, I know you’re all listening intently right now. I want all of you to listen up right now. I’m pissed off, I’m mad as Hell! I’m on a damn warpath! Get in my way of what I want, and I promise all of you, it won’t be pretty. Now, back to the topic at hand, for the past couple of weeks I have not been booked. It would seem that our esteemed general manager deems me unworthy of having a match. And although Jonathan here has stated that we don’t mind not being booked this week, in all honesty, I do mind! I am not being showcased like I should be. I was not given this time out here, I had to come out and take it. Much like I’ve been doing since I signed my contract. My contract which entitles me to some matches! And so far I have been getting the short end of the stick! I’m tired of it! Why the Hell should I be sitting back there while all these punks get my much deserved spotlight? I’ve paid my dues; I’ve been around long enough to get what I deserve! It sickens me how much time I’ve wasted here. But now, now that I have made my statement, I better get some God damn respect!
Layfield, if you’re man enough, book me in a match next week! The more you keep this beast in the cage, the more I get angry. The more I get angry, the more dangerous I become. If you wait too long, I’ll have to burst out of this cage and cause some real havoc. I wouldn’t take that as an idle threat if I were you.
Mister Layfield, you have angered this beast, and like any violent beast, he will want blood. I cannot stress this enough, if my client doesn’t get his match, those legal actions I threatened you with before will seem like a nightmare after I am done. Rhino will have a match next, against any opponent of your choosing, or if any Superstar in the back is foolish enough to challenge the Man Beast. I’d also like to take this time to say that no, I don’t continuously wear the same suit to every show; I have multiple pairs of this suit! Now, like I said, my client requests a match next week. If he does not get his match, I will have this show shutdown immediately, and I don’t think many people would be too fond of that. You have been warned Mister Layfield. Heed my words.
As Coachmen said the last few words, Rhino was already on his way out of the ring. Obviously not caring to waste anymore of his time, the crowd supporting him as he and Coachmen make their way up the ramp and NXT goes to Commercial.

"And The Horse He Rode In On" by Reluctant Hero bursts through the speakers spread throughout the arena, as the crowd in attendance begin to boo Michael McGillicutty's arrival. McGillicutty takes a moment before he emerges from the back, a smirk accompanying his face, while he gazes out at the filled to capacity arena. McGillicutty stands at the top of the stage, spreads his legs and throws his arms out, followed by a confident roar and a steely glare directly towards the ring. McGillicutty's confidence is evident.
Christy Hemme: From Champlin, Minnesota: Michael McGillicutty
McGillicutty takes a few moments to soak in the hostile atmosphere before he proceeds to make his way down the ramp and towards the ring. People can be seen hanging over the barriers and slinging abuse at the cocky third generation superstar, who has made his way to ringside and opts to walk up the steel steps. McGillicutty enters the ring and walks to the opposite side of the ring going to the corner but stopping as his entrance is interrupted
All of sudden, an Irish rhytms starts to play throughout the arena. "Written In My Face" by Flatfoot 56 starts to play through the speakers placed all around the arena, fans stand up and hold up their signs, because it's time for their favourite superstar, The Great White, Sheamus. Sheamus emerges from the back after a while and he stands under the titantron, where he makes a crucifix pose, hits his chest with one hand and screams before making his way down the ramp
Christy Hemme: And his opponent, from Dublin Ireland...Sheamus!
Sheamus then continues his way down to the ring, over the steel steps, over the second rope. He takes his shirt off and throws it to the crowd before smacking his chest again and doing the crucifix pose before turning to his opponent

Ding Ding Ding
The bell rings and Sheamus immediately goes across the ring after his opponent, McGillicutty sees him coming towards him and quickly backs off to the ropes putting his head through the ropes as Sheamus tries to get shots in on him. The referee gets in front of Sheamus and tells him he needs to back off away from the ropes, the crowd boos as Michael tells the referee to back him off.
Joey Styles: What kind of way to debut is that?
Sheamus takes a step back as McGillicutty slowly comes back through the ropes, when Sheamus goes right back after him and Michael goes through the ropes once again telling the referee to do his job. The referee forces Sheamus to back off, he does so slowly for a moment but quickly moves around the referee. But as he does he walks right into a boot to the gut by McGillicutty, he hooks Sheamus head under his arm and uses that hold to move Sheamus back first into the corner. He grabs the top rope and starts to stomp away on Sheamus, repeatedly kicking at his body relentlessly the moment the referee was moved out of the way by Sheamus giving him free range to hit him for a little longer than usual.
Taz: Smart Joe, Pick your spots this kid has wrestling in the veins he knows how to get stuff done in that ring.
The referee finally gets to him and is counting him off ready to disqualify me, at the count of 4 he puts his hands on his arm pulling him away from the corner telling him to cut it out before he gets disqualified. McGillicutty lifts his hands saying he’ll stop to the referee, before he goes right back to stomping away at him. The referee tells him he better back off this time and Michael this time turns around and argues with the referee, after some words he turns back around to get back to the corner when out of nowhere Sheamus pops out of the corner and hits him with a double axe sledge shot that knocks him down causing the crowd to jump to their feet.
Taz: what in the
Joey Styles: Michael McGillicutty might know how to wrestle in the ring, but I don’t think anyone knows just how to keep Sheamus down.
McGillicutty scrambles up to his feet and Sheamus knocks him down with another double axe handle, he gets up but decides against the direct approach and goes to the ropes getting to the ring apron to take a break, but before he can drop down Sheamus runs up and catches him by the head pulling him back. Sheamus wraps his arms back on the top rope and pulls back on his face and he starts to hit him across the chest with clubbing shots as the crowd counts them off. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 with a loud smack of skin on skin after every number, after the 10 Sheamus lets go of him for a moment. Sheamus however pulls his head back in position making sure his arms are still wrapped around the top rope and starts to repeat the clubbing blows, but this time the referee is telling Sheamus to get off of him. He lets go turning around with a smile on his face as the referee tells him to listen to him, McGillicutty is holding his chest coughing pain when he sees Sheamus’ back turn. He reaches back grabbing his head overhead and drops off the ring apron like a neckbreaker but hotshotting Sheamus on the top rope dropping him to the mat.
Joey Styles: Oh god did you see his neck snap back from the top rope.
Taz: That’s the ring presence, even in pain he found his opening. I’m liking this kid
McGillicutty is holding his chest, still in pain before he slides into the ring covering Sheamus

McGillicutty is a little shocked he didn’t get more out of that count but doesn’t waste too much time in pulling Sheamus up to his feet, but before he can do anything Sheamus smacks him with a shot to the sternum causing him to let go of him for a moment. Sheamus hits him with a right hand to the jaw that backs him off to the ropes, he charges forward clotheslining McGillicutty over the top rope and to the outside. Sheamus smacks his chest taunting for the crowd before stepping out of the ring going after his opponent, he stands him up before moving his shoulder to his sternum and driving him back first on the edge of the ring apron.
Joey Styles: That Ring apron is the hardest part of the ring, and having someone like Sheamus drive you back first unto it can’t feel good.
Sheamus shoves McGillicutty into the ring, he walks up the steel steps next to him bending over to go through the ropes but before he can McGillicutty suddenly charges forward kicking him on the side of the head. The crowd boos as McGillicutty gets a smirk on his face before hooking Sheamus’ head with his hands going to turn him around for a neckbreaker hung up by the ropes, but Sheamus is seemingly fighting it not allowing himself to be turned over. Sheamus starts to smack him in the sternum with his fist causing him to loosen his grip, McGillicutty moves off of Sheamus to avoid getting hit which allows Sheamus to get back into the ring. As Sheamus gets in McGillicutty quickly grabs him irish whipping him around but Sheamus counters it sending him to the ropes, he ducks down seemingly for a backdrop but McGillicutty jumps over Sheamus flipping over him and rolling him up with a quick sunset flip

Sheamus kicks his feet together with Michaels head caught in between causing him to let go of the roll up, Sheamus rolls up to his feet as McGillicutty gets up himself. Sheamus suddenly lifts him up on his shoulders with no effort whatsoever, taking a step forward flipping forward landing on McGillicuttys back as he rolls to a seated position. He turns around and hooks Michaels leg

Shoulder up
Sheamus doesn’t pause for a moment after the shoulder up, lifting McGillicutty up as he stands himself up as well. As he does stand up though McGillicutty suddenly wraps his arms around Sheamus waist putting his head under his arm and heaving him up as hard as he can dropping immediately with a saito suplex, Sheamus lands on the back of his head awkwardly as McGillicutty is catching his breath from the rolling firemans carry.
Joey Styles: great Suplex by Michael McGillicutty
Taz: That is how you do it, use leverage if you can’t overpower.
McGillicutty turns around seemingly going for a cover but Sheamus is already sitting up to get up himself, he stands up and lifts Sheamus up the rest of the way and goes for an irish whip but is stopped on the pull back by Sheamus’ power. He is instead sent to the corner himself, Sheamus charges forward and drives his shoulder unto his sternum. Sheamus immediately runs out of the corner and hits the ropes as McGillicutty stumbles out of the corner doubled over in pain.
Joey Styles: here we go now, this is when Sheamus picks up steam
Sheamus bounces off the ropes and charges forward but as he does McGillicutty jumps up in the air and catching him coming with a perfect dropkick that knocks him on his back causing the crowd to pop for a moment at the suddenness. Michael takes a moment to get his wits about him after the sudden leap and quickly covers the Irishmen

Shoulder up
Taz: Oh how close was that
Michael stands up and looks at the referee making sure it wasn’t it, he turns back towards Sheamus who is getting himself up. He pulls him up to his feet but is immediately hit with a knee to the sternum doubling him over in pain, Sheamus hits the ropes and comes charging in and hits him with a running knee to the side of the head sending him to the mat. Sheamus however keeps charging forward and steps out on the ring apron climbing up the top turnbuckle.
Taz: oh man here we go
Joey Styles: Sheamus on the top rope can’t lead to anything good for McGillicutty.
McGillicutty stands up holding the back of his head as he staggers a bit, he turns around and Sheamus dives off the top rope with a battering ram like shoulder block that drops Michael down with such force that he is folded up backwards before landing face down on the mat. Sheamus stands up and looks out at the crowd as he backs into the corner, he turns back towards his opponent and lifts his fist up in the air causing the crowd to stand up excited. Sheamus smacks his chest yelling out “Brogue” as he does, McGillicutty starts to get to his feet slowly. He finally does turning around as Sheamus measures up before charging forward, McGillicutty turns and grabs the referee by the shirt and pulls him into place moving out of the way. Sheamus stops himself before he runs into the referee, in that moment of distraction McGillicutty chopblocks him from behind.
Taz: perfect counter
Joey Styles: Michael McGillicutty used the referee as a distraction and aim for that Brogue Kick leg.
McGillicutty stands up and looks around the arena proud of that series, he waits for him to stand up and when he does he goes for a clothesline. But Sheamus ducks it simultaneously catching him in the process, Sheamus lifts him up and drops down to one knee hitting the irish curse backbreaker. Sheamus stays down after hitting the move hurting his leg in the process, McGillicutty rolls away from Sheamus trying to get up as Sheamus pushes himself up as well. Both men stand up across the ring from each other, Sheamus charges forward and kicks his foot up going for the Brogue kick. McGillicutty drops to his hands and knees ducking it as Sheamus misses he brings his foot down to the ground hard to keep himself on his feet but as he does he stumbles a bit dropping to one knee seemingly landing on the leg wrong. As he pushes himself up forcing himself to stand up McGillicutty runs forward hooking his head as he’s doubled over twisting around and hitting the McGillicutter in the middle of the ring. He hooks both legs up as hard as he can

"The Beaten Path" starts to play out with it's guitar riff and Bully Ray is seen for the first time since his under par performance in the Scramble match for the NxTreme championship and he has a microphone in his hand straight off the bat.
Bully wastes no time in getting what he has to say off of his chest.
Bully Ray: Shut it off! Shut my damn music off, I have something to say! I have something to say and dammit, every one of these people, and every single person watching at home are gonna wanta hear it. Thankyou.... Now. I took a little sabbatical from NXT for two weeks. For those of you who spent all of their time in english class turning text books into paper airplanes, and ripping up homework into little peashooters listen up, coz Bully Rays taking you all back to class. A sabbatical is what eighty percent of all you people in this arena are probably doing permanently and that's taking a break from their careers. Sitting on your ass all day not doing a god-damn thing! But theres three differences between me and you lot. Number one, I can afford to take a sabbatical without sponging on the benefits system that all you assholes deem fine to do so. Number two! I chose to have my sabbatical after a conversation with JBL.... most of you couldn't hold a job down and you got your sabbatical after being forced out of the door of Subway, or Taco Bell or any other crappy job I would never even entertain the thought of taking on myself. And maybe the most important difference between us is that whilst your in your sabbatical your decompose into unemployable slobs which only adds to the time you will wallow in your pits of dirt you call homes and stay the bums that you have become. During my time off I trained harder than I have ever trained before in my life and this Ass Kicking cyborg with the carbon fibre calfs has become more of a wrecking ball than he has ever been before. I can put David Blaine out of business in just two weeks because I have done the straight up impossible... I have improved perfection itself!
Bully Ray pauses to make his way into the ring. Perfect time for the whole of Calgary to let him know how they feel about his words. But Bully laughs it off and continues.
It's quite ironic we're in the Saddledome considering all of you spend your whole existences on your asses! And you can boo me all you want, a cut out of the money you paid to sit there tonight is going directly in my pocket so boo as loud as you can I really couldn't care. What I do care about is this Gold Rush tournament that is on here tonight. How bad the first two guys are, I thought I'd spare you by coming out here myself to give you my two cents on the situation instead of boring you all to death from the get go. And my two cents is this. This tournament is a load of crock. You got eight men..... And one of them is questionable to if he's either a man, I'll let you all figure out who I mean by that. But eight superstars, billed as the best NXT has to offer.... and knowing I would be back to compete this week I don't get put in the picture. Now I have whittled Bradshaws thinking down to one possible reason..... Three weeks of NXT programming, next weeks semi finals, and the weeks after final, would all be a forgone conclusion if I was in the tournament. I could beat all eight of these guys in the same night and my calves wouldn't have broken a freakin' sweat! JBL is a businessman and he feels keeping the top dog out of the tournament makes it fairer, I don't know, he's probably got some betting scheme going on with it, the dodgy dealings of a Texas Millionaire. But heres the deal, I'm here for the long haul, not the quick fix. All four matches could finish in a no contest and there could be a nine way championship match for all I care. All I know is there will come a time, that not even business can hold the top superstar down.... and that day, is when I get my first shot at Randy Orton.... and that day, will be the day Bully Ray is the only man worth talking about on NXT.....
Hell what am I saying, that days today, I just ain't had a shot at the title yet to prove it.
Bully Ray drops the mic and his music plays again, before he slides under the ropes and walks to the back, leaving the arena as he left it, ready for the Gold Rush tournament to continue.

The fans roar as the stage comes to life, blasting Cult of Personality through the speakers... as the fans get to their feet in joy. Punk steps through the curtains, soaking in the crowd's noise as the music plays throughout the arena. Punk gets to the stage, laughing as he stares down ramp. Punk claps at the fans for their approval, while getting down to his signature one knee. He points at his wrist, signifying to the crowd that they chant along with him.
"IT'S CLOBBERING
TIME!"
Christy Hemme:From Chicago, Illinois: CM Punk
Punk doesn't waste any more time, as he gets to his feet. He begins walking his way down the ramp, his eyes set on the ring in front of him. He walks up the ramp steps, one at a time, He jumps up on the turnbuckles, cupping his hands as shouts out his catchphrase to the UWF crowd in attendance.
Just as CM Punk was waiting for Abyss to come out, his wish is fulfilled as the theme song of Abyss blasts out of the arena speakers.

Abyss walks through the curtain with a hood over his head. He puts his hands in the air, fire lights up on the stage and the entire arena gets covered in red color. Abyss is standing in the middle of the entrance ramp like he is waiting for something. He is staring to the ground.
Christy Hemme: And his opponent, The Monster Abyss
Extending his hands out as pyro goes off behind him, he walks down the ramp and climbs the steel steps and into the ring staring down CM Punk
Vs
The bell rings and Punk immediately charges across the ring and starts to hit Abyss with right hand shots to the head, each shot staggering him but not putting him down. Punk starts to kick at the side of his legs before going back to the head and hitting him with elbow shots to the side of the head, still seeing him standing he takes a step back and jumps up with both feet up in the air and dropkicking Abyss on the shoulder sending him backwards through the ropes and to the outside landing on his feet. He immediately grabs the ropes to get back in the ring but Punk drops down and hits a baseball slide sending him staggering backwards away from the ring, Punk charges the ropes across the ring and dives through the ropes head first catching Abyss with a suicide dive. Both men crashing to the floor outside, as the crowd cheers the sudden start to the match.
Taz: This just got out of hand way to fast
Joey Styles: CM Punk showing he isn’t going to be backing down from the Monster Abyss.
Punk stands himself up holding his ribs in pain from the landing as he looks out towards the crowd, Abyss is starting to get up himself and Punk goes after him. When Abyss suddenly grabs Punks hand and head and sends him straight into the steel steps sending the top half flying backwards, Abyss looks down at him breathing in and out before reaching down and pulling him up roughly before sending him head first to the ring apron. Punk seems out of it before he shoves him into the ring.
Joey Styles: And that quick, Abyss was able to turn things around to his favor.
Punk rolls to his knees as Abyss climbs up and into the ring, once he’s in Punk is up and starts to hit him with right hands shots trying to stop Abyss’ momentum. He grabs him by the arm and goes for a whip but Abyss is too strong at the moment to be moved, Abyss reverses it whipping him into the turnbuckle. He charges forward but Abyss lifts both feet up catching him coming in on the side of the head, Abyss stumbles back to the middle of the ring as Punk shakes his head getting his wits about him. Punk charges out of the corner when Abyss suddenly catches him coming in by the throat with his hand, looking for a chokeslam he lifts him up in the air but Punk uses the lift off to push off of him and to the side. Abyss sees Punk and charges forward but he moves out of the way as Abyss hits the corner back first, Punk suddenly runs up climbing up on the ropes and lifting his knee to his head. He switches his grip going for a bulldog out of the corner but as he runs out of the corner Abyss lifts him up and throws him forward off of him. Punk lands on his feet stumbling a little to find his foot before turning back around to Abyss, but walks right into a big boot to the face knocking him out in the middle of the ring. The crowd ooh the boot as Abyss drops to his knees and covers him.

Shoulder up
Abyss immediately sits Punk up and puts his hands on his head and starts cranking on it twisting it his neck as he stands over him, his right hand on the top of his head and the left on his chin.
Taz: After that kick to the mush, Abyss is focusing on the head and neck.
Punk is pushing himself off the mat getting to his knees as he moves his hands to Abyss’ arms trying to loosen his grip, seeing that his own strength isn’t enough he starts to hit Abyss with elbows to the sternum trying to fight his way out of it. After repeated shots he finally gets him to let go, turning himself around completely and hitting with right hand shots. He grabs his arm and goes for a whip again but as he turns over Abyss stops countering it and sending Punk into the corner he was going to be sent into. Abyss charges forward but Punk drop toe holds him head first unto the second turnbuckle, Punk gets up to his feet and backs up to the opposite corner as Abyss stands himself up shaking his head. He charges across the ring and hits his knee to the skull once again, he switches around for the bulldog but as he runs out Abyss stops him from dropping down. He lifts him up on his shoulders suddenly
Joey Styles: Oh no he’s looking for the Shock treatment.
Taz: he’s fighting out of it though.
Punk is hitting the top of his head over and over again until he can finally fall behind him off his shoulders and on his feet, Abyss turns around and quickly goes for a clothesline but Punk ducks it lifting his hand up and catching the clothesline coming in spinning under the arm around and hooking his head and hitting a big neckbreaker in the middle of the ring. Punk quickly goes for the cover.

Kick out
Abyss powers out of the cover and quickly starts getting up to his feet, Punk pulls him up as he stands and whips him to the corner as hard as he can. He charges after him but Abyss backdrops him overhead, Punk holds on to the top rope and sails over landing on his feet on the ring apron. Abyss walks out of the corner thinking he got rid of Punk, but turns around and sees him still standing and quickly goes after him. Punk drives his shoulder unto his sternum coming in causing him to stagger back, he measures him up before he jumps up on the top rope springboarding in the air. But as he sails down Abyss catches him in his arms seemingly going for a cross body, Abyss steps to the middle of the ring with him in his arms before swinging him around and hitting a standing powerslam in the middle of the ring.
Joey Styles: Pure, monstrous power shown by Abyss.

Shoulder up
Abyss gets himself up and pulls Punk up to his knees immediately after the kick out, holding his head in place with his left hand and starts hitting him with right hand shots to the forehead. The referee tells him to watch the closed fist but Abyss isn’t hearing any of it as he keeps hitting Punk Square in the head, finally stopping he pulls him up to his feet and throws him to the ropes. Hooking his arm he whips him to the ropes ready to catch him coming in, but Punk immediately drops down baseball sliding between Abyss’ legs. He stands up right as Abyss turns around and spins around hitting him with a spinning kick to the sternum doubling him over, immediately he kicks him in the chest standing him up straight. Once up Punk smacks him on the side of the head with an open hand right shot, following it up with a left hand shot and spinning around hitting him with a right backhand shot. In the wind up Punk lifts his leg up and hits Abyss with a roundhouse kick to the side of the skull but only drops Abyss down to one knee.
Taz: After all that Abyss ain’t even on his back.
Punk sees Abyss still upright almost looking confused before he measures up moving his leg back winding up before going for another roundhouse, but Abyss ducks his head dodging the kick. He stands up to his feet as Punk turns around from the momentum of the thrown kick, grabbing Punk by the throat he waste no time in lifting him up in the air and hitting a big Chokeslam in the center of the ring. Punk bounces off the mat before going limp as Abyss drops to his knees holding the side of the head seeming angrier at the pain than hurt
Joey Styles: Massive Chokeslam out of nowhere
Taz: he got him goozled and slammed him down with authority Joey

Shoulder up
Daffney slaps the mat telling the referee to count as Abyss shakes his head; he pulls Punks head up and starts to hit him with right hand shots before standing up and doing his pose with his arms to the booing crowd. Punk is trying to push himself up as Abyss turns back around to him; he pulls him up and shoves him into the ropes. As he bounces off Abyss goes for a clothesline but Punk ducks it and he goes to the ropes but hooks his arms around the top rope to keep himself from bouncing off, once Abyss does this Punk runs forward stepping one foot up on the second rope and bringing his knee to his face as if in the corner. He switches around for the third time in the match but this time is able to run across the ring and hit the running bulldog on Abyss.
Joey Styles: Third times the charm
On impact Punk rolls under the bottom ropes and gets to his feet on the ring apron, Abyss starts to push himself up to his feet groggily from the bulldog. Punk is measuring him up as he stands up, leaping up on the top rope springboarding into the air and catching him flush with a clothesline that sends him crashing back. Punk holds his side in pain before quickly going for the cover

Kick out
Abyss pops his shoulder off the mat and Punk slicks his hear back trying to keep himself focused, he stands up to his feet and hooks Abyss’ head under his arm. Seemingly going for a DDT but before he can do anything Abyss uses his strength to drive Punk back first unto the corner thrusting his shoulder unto his ribs, he stands up straight and sends him across the ring into the opposite corner. Abyss backs up to the turnbuckle before charging across the ring like a charging bull before splashing punk in the corner with all that force.
Taz: oh man Punk just got squashed
Abyss steps out of the corner as Punk stumbles out, he slaps his hand on his throat seemingly for another Chokeslam. But as he grabs hold Punk swings his leg up and roundhouse kicks Abyss on the side of the head causing him to let go of the grip and drop to his knee, Punk holds his neck in pain before hooking his head under his arm and dropping back hitting a big DDT bouncing him to his back. Punk gets up and steps out on the ring apron climbing up on the top rope, finding his footing he stands up straight and raises both his hands in the air as the crowd stands up in reaction. Punk leaps off the turnbuckle soaring through the air, landing the big elbow to the chest.
Joey Styles: Flying elbow to the monster Abyss
Punk reaches back and pulls back on his leg as hard as he can

Shoulder up
The crowd oh after counting out with the referee thinking it was over, Punk gets an irritated look on his face as he looks around. As he sits up slicking his hair back once again the crowd starts to react, Punk turns his head and sees what the crowd is reacting to as Bully Ray is walking down the ramp with his arms cross and an unimpressed look on his face.
Joey Styles: I can’t believe Abyss was able to
Taz: whoa hold on their Joey looks like we have a guest.
As the camera pans over he is seemingly talking to the people in the front row apparently telling them how pathetic this tournament is, Punk stands up and walks to the ropes as Bully seems to be getting louder.
Joey Styles: What is he doing out here?
Punk yells out “hey” getting Bullys attention, both men start to argue screaming from across the ringside area as Punk is seemingly telling him to mind his own business. Punk pokes his head through the ropes and starts to get serious as he talks as now Bully has gone quiet.
Taz: I don’t know Joe but it looks like he’s got Punks attention now.
Punk seems to be done and turns his attention back around when Abyss puts his head under Punks arm and suddenly lifts him up on his shoulders. He quickly tries to hit him on the top of the head trying to get out of it but Abyss drops straight down hitting the shock treatment.
Joey Styles: oh god CM Punk might be broken in half.
Abyss’ open hands are in front of his face before he leans back and hooks the near leg

The referee stops the count
Taz: What?
Abyss looks up and Daffney is yelling out asking what the referee is doing, as the referee points out Punks foot on the bottom rope. Abyss stands up pulling at his hair in anger, he pulls Punk up by both ears.
Joey Styles: I have no earthly idea how CM Punk got to the ropes, but I don’t think this is going to last much longer.
Abyss gets Punk to his feet and whips him to the ropes opening his arms, ready to catch him coming in but as he grabs him for the black hole slam Punk swings both legs directly at Abyss’ leg kicking it out from under him and dropping him to one knee, Punk suddenly hooks Abyss’ head with his arm and drops back hitting a reverse STO before rolling his legs up moving one in front of his face as he locks his hands in a Koji Clutch.
Joey Styles: CM Punk has got Abyss head all wrapped up.
Abyss puts his hand on Punks leg trying to push it out of his face to relieve some pain, Abyss gets to his knees and starts to power out of the clutch able to get out of his grip and out of the hold. Punk quickly gets to his feet as Abyss does the same, Punk suddenly catches Abyss coming in using the momentum to lift him up on his shoulders slowly as the crowd pops. Punk struggles with the monster on his shoulders, when Bully gets near the ring climbing the ring apron. Punk drops Abyss behind him and Bully drops down as Punk takes a swing at him, he however turns around and walks right into Abyss’ arms swinging him around in the air and hitting the Black Hole Slam in the middle of the ring. Abyss hooks the far leg back

*Ding Ding Ding*
The bell rings as Abyss’ theme hits the arena, Abyss stands up and the referee tries to raise his hand. But Abyss turns towards him and the referee is scared off, Daffney steps in as Abyss does his arms crossed pose in the middle of the ring.

Joey Styles: I don’t know what Bully Ray is doing out here, but his distraction just cost CM Punk the tournament.
Taz: I’m telling you Joe I don’t think anyones going to be able to stop Abyss in this tournament
Abyss steps out of the ring as Daffney follows, but in the ring Punk is trying to pull himself up. Bully is seen walking up the steel steps with a microphone in hand. Punk is getting to his feet, Bully Ray lifts the mic up to his mouth ready to say something when suddenly he turns the mic upside down and hits Punk on the top of the skull with it causing the speakers to amplify the loud thud it makes. The crowd gasp as Punk collapses down, Bully crouches down looking down at Punk.
Joey Styles: what the hell was that about? CM Punk was able to hold Abyss off with all the distractions involved, and now Bully Ray attacks him after the match.
The titantron lights up with JBL appearing on screen as Punk is still down and Bully is still in place

Everything happens for a reason, doesn't it? You see I didn't get where I am today without planning ahead, without making calculated risk. See my dear "punk" there's a reason why I chose to not include Mr. Ray in this tournament, there's a reason why I allowed you to keep your job after you chose to disrespect me. And that is because what is standing over you is your little comeuppance, I mean you didn't honestly think you had a chance in this tournament did you? You've got a lot to learn, lesson number one The Best in the World does not surpass a Wrestling God. Lesson Number two, choose who you talk to and in what manner you do so wisely, and lesson number three. No matter how good you think you are, no matter how great these people think you are, You go nowhere if I decide it. See Bully asked for a sabbatical, and I happily gave it to him because I know what Bully Ray can do with just a little time off. Now that he's back it's time to put that on full display, so at the King of the Ring CM Punk you face Bully Ray one on one. And Mr. Ray for your gracious acceptance of the situation you were put in as far as not being in the tournament is concerned, I shall rectify that by adding that the winner of this match will be the new Number one contender for the NXT World Championship. The show fades off as Bully stands over Punk as JBL smirks on the titantron
