Re: Effective Thinking With EoR: UWF Smackdown part of The Great American Bash.

You should have done what you did last time. That was a fun read, and it felt rewarding to other members. Match previews are cool, but the last installment was better.

Also hate the negative attitude, dude when I make youtube vids sometimes I get no views or comment, and I just keep on rolling.

Re: Outside The Ropes: Debut Edition!

I think this is the first run there hasn't been much/any because the owners are not egotisical and self centered and want the best for the fed/tt'ers. Big Up Cwalks, EoR, SBS and Fett, and not forgetting Rey.

Re: Outside The Ropes: Debut Edition!

What I think really helps is the fact the Owner (Cwalker) and one of the Smackdown Head Writers (SBS) don't have characters. All they do is focus on writing and running the fed and not on TTing. Then you have Fetter, who helps out with writing matches for Raw, but not his own character's match. I'm sure Cwalker informs him of who wins too, so that's all fair.

Now this is just a personal thing, but having a character on the same brand as you write for always, always, always come in for criticism, which is why I still don't agree with EOR having two guys. It doesn't matter who you are, if you have a character on the brand you're head writing for, controversy is unavoidable. Granted he's in a tag team, which means he needs his partner to help too, which they both have and look like becoming tag champs, it's still a big deal even if SBS is the one judging the results.

Re: MrFetter's UWF Top 15

This is like a power 25 which I like. Hope this continues going forward because it would be a nice addition here in the UWF.

Re: Outside The Ropes: Debut Edition!

^ Annoying, we was hoping a challenge.

At the same time, If I keep Joe away from the top tier titles, then I personally can't see any harm coming from it, I'm like that guy, I really couldn't give a fuck about stroking my ego with Joe, I told SBS whenever Me and Dresden lose, I'll take the fall, I told him I'll take the fall in the Six-Man Tag Team match if he so wished to have us lose.

SBS is completely unbiased when it comes to my matches, cause I don't put dick pressure on him to make silly calls. I know the guy did that a few times on Smackdown, especially against the likes of Sam, Dresden & Lewb.

I felt for you when you got cashed in on bro. If anyone on Faw deserved to be Champion besides myself at that time, it was you.

But in saying that, I can tell you that I saw that cash in coming. It mirrored when I cashed in on AK almost perfectly. A Championship match with lackluster TTing that everyone predicted you to win. Just like Wrestlemania, the Summerslam match wasn't even considered a main event, it was like in the middle of the show. It just reeked of a cash in

lulz I never had a problem with being cashed in on, seemed like more people were sad for me than I was. I'm actually quite happy cause I was able to lead it into grotesque Cody and am still having fun off that change.

Well that's actually pretty noble. It's just a rarity when somebody has a character on the brand they head write for that they'd prevent themselves from reaching any great heights, as well as be willing to take the pinfall. I'd be fine with that too as it sounds really reasonable.

Oh, I could tell you stories...

We have plenty of them ourselves. Some of us have been involved in too many haha :p

HAHAHAHA YES! Pretty historical day in ETW's history!

Yeah I saw it coming too, in fact I think alot of us did. It was a shame because everybody really loved your Rhodes, RIR, and thought that this was your time to succeed, but then in the back of all our minds we knew a cash in was coming.

At least you saw the positive side of it. As for mine? Nothing but negative :p

Re: Outside The Ropes: Debut Edition!

How about me wanting to head into Tag Team wrestling with my Hardcore Champion character in my previous fed, and the GM forcing me to drop the title first because he hated my guts? And then when I ranted, having his on-screen GM strip me of it in RP?

Oh yeah, and before that, promising myself and the #1 contender a PPV title match and then booking it on Heat, with the excuse that "I want our Heat to be a real show, not like the real Heat", when everyone could see that the real reason was that he didn't like either of us?

Yeah...stories.

UWF Championship Match
AustinChristian-1.jpg

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin(c) versus Christian
2 of the greats going back and forth for the Title. They certainly showed they both want it and definatly both stepped up. It seems I say this for every Dresdon match which is a credit to him but I would hate to be the one that has to pick the actual winner. I am fans of both men, as I told them with a Pos rep each but i've picked Aniking. Dont know why just think he has it by a little iddy biddy microscopic bit. If Dresdon gets the win, I honestly don't know who will beat him for the title though.

King of The Mountain Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
KingoftheMountain4.jpg

Dean Ambrose(c) versus Ted DiBiase versus Batista versus John Cena versus Bray Wyatt versus Jeff Hardy
Once again Pos repped all the particapants as once again, I love all there chracters. But I must pick I winner and I think andrews Batista has improved leaps and bounds, plus its great to see him stick with one person for a while so my guess is he will take Batista the whole way.

UWF United States Championship
CodyRhodesPunk.jpg

Cody Rhodes(c) vs. CM Punk
Hard to go against Rey, always is and he even has the numbers advantage although I can see Rey losing and going to the mainevent, hell the show is pretty much RawisRey anyway ahah

Full Metal Mayhem for the European Championship
Rob Van Dam(c) vs Jeff Jarrett vs Raven vs Rey Mysterio
This is a match that I wish was announced earlier but obviously with Miz holding the title before, and only recently getting fired, it was a bit hard. I see this one as the sleeper with all men trying to impress. I see Lub retaining his newly won title.

RoodeMVP.jpg

Robert Roode vs. MVP
My Match

WolfeSandow-1.jpg

Daniel Bryan vs. Desmond Wolfe
Hoov plays an awesome Daniel Bryan, his tt's havent dissapointed and this pick was made easy as although EOR plays an awesome Wolfe as well, I don't now if he will continue on with the Smackdown GM as a tter so Bryan for me.

OrtonAries-1.jpg

Randy Orton versus Austin Aries
Another match where both men got Pos Rep from me, hey I was in a giving mood but these two finished with a week to go before the Pay Per View with quality, I think it was Aniking that first pointed it out and im sure both could of kept going if they wanted to. It could very well rival Bryan vs Ambrose of last month for Feud of the Year so well done to both men but I'm going with Chriss for the narrow win.

SandowEdge-1.jpg

Damien Sandow vs. Edge
Like I said, hard to go against Rey and its also hard to get any better then his Cody Rhodes but I believe Sandow is his best, great to see Slim back and I can see this being his only pay per view lose for a while but I'm going with Rey.

UWF Tag Team Championship
Tagteam-1.jpg

The Black and White Machine vs. Shark Boy and William Regal
this one is obvious as only one team has turned up but even if Sam and Doink had turned up, I think the pairing of Dresdon and EOR would of been too much for them to handle.

Yeah...stories.

Well with the first one, sounds like he didn't want his Hardcore Champion also being Tag Champion. Sometimes people don't like to see somebody holding two titles at the same time, but coming from a guy who has done it once or twice before, if you deserve it then you should get it. If you're given the opportunity to go for another title while already a champion, and you take it with both hands, then the writer should give it to you if you deserve it. To me, it sounds like he wanted to avoid that situation. Still pretty shitty and smells of politics.

That second one really isn't that bad. Whether he liked you or not, you still got a #1 Contenders match. Granted it probably should've been featured as an important match on the show you're both involved with, but if he's using it to help give importance to Heat then I don't see any issue in that. Just means he reckons you and your opponent could deliver.
