Re: Effective Thinking with... SBS: A Very Special Edition

Does The Dose infringe upon that or is it cool for me to continue the interview portion?

You debuted it literally right after I was done with the recording of the Prod interview, I uploaded I believe a day after, or the same day but later. The Dose does not bug me because it is more UWF oriented with some past questions. I just hate whole interviews because it kinda takes away from what I do.

EDIT: Not to mention you probably did the interview way before me.

Re: Effective Thinking with... SBS: A Very Special Edition

Isn't EOR's pretty much all UWF oriented? I kind of see your podcast being more memory lane and the dose and this being more interview style. I feel like at the core effective thinking is still about the minds of the people in charge. Also this was a special edition so who knows if it was meant to be with more people other than the head writers.

Chase, much love dude. This edition was hilarious. Talking about Bukowski's trash talks, the entire hbkfan theory, the promo you cut on me. lol I love it, looking forward to next week with Slim and seeing who else you round up. I already interviewed Slim so I can't take him from you. This week's Dose has rawisrey, the August 12th edition has Dod, after that I haven't decided yet. Awesome work man.

I said if this is the route it is taking... I did not say it is did I? He asked some stuff I would have asked Mike for when we would do the podcast, like I said I liked the interview. Just don't want interviews to take over the interactive feature.

Glad you guys enjoyed the episode. Also glad that people now know the way I speak. Never realised you guys imagined a Jamie Carragher-esque accent. I'm not from fucking Yorkshire either (EOR!).

Chase you can still ask me. That was a short version. Over the podcast I will go into more detail easily. Trust me there is alot of info in this head and since no one ever bothers to ask me anything there is alot of material to milk out of me. I guarantee your podcast with me will still be awesome bud. And this was a one time thing. It was just a different way of doing the effective thinking. haha.

Re: Chillin with Chase Episode 4: DOD

Okay I tried to look up the old UCW stuff and I thought I was about to accomplish that goal BUT all the threads, everything for the feds were private so I could not find the answer to your question Chase. I was so close but... just held up right there. I was like dang it.

Oh yeah now I'ma try to look up all my titles from over the years... and I'm sure I'll forget some... so ummm AK... you think you can help send me my UCW titles? I forgot all I won there... I know UCW world title, UCW title, ECW/WCW title, hardcore title, tag titles with Pillicai, Legends with Pillman... I think that's it there. but you'd know better than me.. my memory sucks.

But bring on the questions folks... I'll even answer what my favorite food is. And my favorite boob size on chicks... hard to find them but mannnn when you find that size... you're just like... baby you are perfect I wanna... *censored*

So yeah you all got til Saturday. Slim will be live... via satellite :D

But I did finally catch and hear the entire podcast and that was pretty interesting. Some funny moments in there too. Just... all around interesting. Did not vision your voice like that. And the whole 2G4U/HBKFan thing... that was too funny. too too funny.

I didnt say you said that did I? I was just making a case for EORs article since you said you didn't mind Dresdons because it's UwF oriented as is this one. Plus I just think a written interview is less time consuming than an hour long conversation.

CaptainxBumout's Power 25

Alright you guys this is my attempt at a 100% kayfabe Power 25! With Fetter disappearing and Lewb having too much on his plate at the moment, I decided to try my hand at a power 25. I am unfortunately not going into a lot of detail with this first installment but that’s because I’ve already gotten started on this week’s show. Also I wanted to pump this out before I leave for vacation this weekend. This is for last weeks shows and expect another one to drop this Sunday. It's not pretty but without further ado, here is my Power 25!

UWF Power 25!

Daniels.jpg

25. Christopher Daniels
Despite losing the Steel Cage match to Curt Hawkins this past week, Daniels manages to just stay on the Power 25 but with so much new talent coming into the UWF, he’ll have to step up harder than ever if he wants to stay on the list.

ChrisJericho.jpg

24. Chris Jericho
After a series of mysterious codes, Jericho finally made his return to UWF in a big way by being inserted into the UWF Elimination Chamber Championship Match. One has to think a World Title win would shoot him up the Power 25.

RobertRoode.jpg

23. Robert Roode
After costing his old tag team partner James Storm his debut match, Storm decided to return the favor as Roode lost to Bully Ray in a submission match. After the smoke clears who will be the victor when these two battle it out at Summerslam?

JamesStorm.jpg

22. James Storm
Being friends with the UWF Champion unfortunately doesn’t give you wins as James Storm was unsuccessful in his debut due to Robert Roode. Despite the loss he has managed to make the most of his time thus gaining entry into the Power 25. Will Storm be able to turn things around?

KofiKingston.jpg

21. Kofi Kingston
One of RAW’s newest members along with his manager Abraham Washington, made an impressive debut by defeating James Storm with a little help from Robert Roode. Will Kofi be able to keep up his momentum going forward?

JeffJarrett.jpg

20. Jeff Jarrett
Double J has had a very back and forth relationship week after week. After proclaiming to be the real King of the Mountain, Jarrett managed to start a small alliance with Alberto Del Rio but they were unsuccessful at toppling the team of the Justice League. Will Jarrett find a way to capture the European Championship?

Edge.jpg

19. Edge
Edge returned to UWF in a big way but failed to defeat the ever rising Damien Sandow at the Great American Bash. Sandow however managed to avenge his loss by beating Sandow this past week and earning a spot in the Money in the Bank match.

ZackRyder.jpg

18. Zack Ryder
After losing to Ted Dibiase a second time, Zack Ryder managed to bounce back by beating Jeff Hardy and earning himself a shot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Will the broski finally achieve his dream of World Championship gold?

StingTagChamp.jpg
SamoaJoeTagChamp.jpg

17. Sting & Joe
The new UWF Tag Team Champions were able to successfully capture the titles nearly uncontested. However, YES! Managed to get themselves title shots but Samoa Joe was able to shut them up for awhile. With Joe however being taken out last week by Batista and Sting forced to submit to Daniel Bryan, one has to wonder just what exactly is the status of the Tag Team Champions.

Hawkins.jpg

16. Curt Hawkins
After forcefully winning the Hardcore Championship from Matt Morgan, Curt Hawkins has taken on all challenges and just keeps racking up wins. With Tyler Reks firmly at his side, one has to wonder just who exactly will be able to beat Hawkins.

JeffHardy.jpg

15. Jeff Hardy
He may have lost his shot at the World Heavyweight Championship but Hardy may be suffering an even bigger dilemma, whether or not to be a risk taker. After a failed attempt at a Swanton Bomb, Zack Ryder was able to pick up a win over him. Will Jeff be able to bounce back to his old ways or will he refrain from doing more death defying maneuvers?

BullyRay.jpg

14. Bully Ray
Almost being the equivalent of Smackdown’s Batista, Bully Ray has been a force to reckon with on the RAW side of things, destroying the likes of Wade Barrett and Antonio Cesaro, he’s also managed to beat The Rock and Robert Roode. Will anyone be able to stop the bully?

ReyMysterio.jpg

13. Rey Mysterio
Although he failed to capture the European Championship at the Great American Bash, he did manage to form a strong alliance with Rob Van Dam, picking up their first win last Friday. One has to wonder if Tag Team gold is in their future.

RVDEuor.jpg

12. Rob Van Dam
Mr. Friday Night has definitely been living up to the name. After successfully retaining the European Championship at the Great American Bash in a Monster’s Ball match, He seemed to form an alliance with fellow wrestler Rey Mysterio. The duo was able to topple his opponents for Summerslam Alberto Del Rio and Jeff Jarrett this week.

Christian.jpg

11. Christian
After failing to capture the UWF Championship, Christian seems to be on a downward spiral as he also managed to lose against MVP in a Tables Match. With the Elimination Chamber looming in the distance, can Christian rebound from the loses or will this be the first step in the end of the NWO.

RandyOrton.jpg

10. Randy Orton
Still riding high from ending the career of Austin Aries, Randy Orton has joined the UWF Elimination Chamber Championship match. With fellow NWO members, one has to think the favor is definitely in their ball court.

BrayWyatt1.jpg

9. Bray Wyatt
Although he failed to capture the World Heavyweight Championship, he did manage to take the current number one contender John Cena to the limit. With an opportunity to become Mr. Money in the Bank, it could be a matter of time before we see the Angel in the Dirt with some gold around his waist.

DamienSandow.jpg
DanielBryan.jpg

8. YES!
YES! Has certainly made a huge impact on Smackdown in the past couple of months. Damien Sandow managed to beat the returning Edge while Daniel Bryan perhaps caused the biggest splash of all by ending the GM Desmond Wolfe’s career. Now they set their eyes on Tag Team gold when they face the Black and White Machine at Summerslam.

Punk.jpg

7. CM Punk
To say CM Punk has been on a roll would be putting it modest. Punk not only managed to pull an upset against Cody Rhodes to win the United States Championship, He also managed to end The Rock’s career on the RAW brand. Punk promises to win the UWF Championship back soon and with the past couple of weeks he’s been having, it’s hard to argue.

MVP.jpg

6. MVP
The highest paid superstar on the RAW roster has managed to make a big splash since his arrival. Last week he managed to put Christian through a table and insert himself into the Elimination Chamber. Will the highest paid superstar add some bling to his waist?

Batista.jpg

5. Batista
The Animal has forcefully been running his way through the Smackdown roster. After nearly ending the career of Dean Ambrose, he continued to make a point by beating Samoa Joe into submission. His feats of strength have earned him a spot in the coveted 6 man Money In The Bank ladder match at Summerslam.

CodyRhodes.jpg

4. Cody Rhodes
The very first World Heavyweight Champion was unable to retain the United States Championship at the Great American Bash but that didn’t stop him from getting exactly what he wanted. After getting into the Elimination Chamber, Rhodes managed to make a huge statement by beating the current UWF Champion Stone Cold in a first blood match.

JohnCena.jpg

3. John Cena
After failing to capture the World Heavyweight Championship in the King of the Mountain match, John Cena managed to earn himself a number one contendership. Since then he has managed to cement his cause by beating Bray Wyatt last week.

TedDiBiaseWorld.jpg

2. Ted Dibiase
After nearly sitting the whole King of the Mountain match in the penalty box, Ted managed to show his cunning ways when he revealed The Big Show to be his accomplice to help him capture the World Heavyweight Championship at The Great American Bash. With his match at Summerslam against John Cena coming up, one has to wonder what exactly he has in store for him this coming Friday.

Austin.jpg

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Week after week, the rattlesnake has managed to make RAW all about him. After successfully retaining his UWF Championship against Christian, he has his hands full in a star studded Elimination Chamber match. Will the rattlesnake overcome the odds and further cement his legacy, or will someone come from behind and finally dethrone the legendary Stone Cold.

Look out for:
John Morrison & The Undertaker
These two superstars made big waves on RAW when they both debuted one right after the other. Without saying any words, the world knew that these two would be gearing up for Summerslam.

Re: CaptainxBumout's Power 25

Wouldn't RVD and Rey be together? Than again we do have our own personal matches going on moving forward. The list is good but we have a lot of these top list type of things. What would be cool is if you did an article where you give your favorite characters and maybe add some tips or try them out for fun.

In your post you made it seem like that way... also is it not fun listening to the podcast. Colt Cabana does it every week and it is fun to listen too. If you have tips for my podcast than tell me. Really because I like to make it fun.

Re: Effective Thinking with... SBS: A Very Special Edition

I'm not saying podcasting is boring. I listen to Comedy Bang Bang, Never Not Funny, Nerdist, Indoor Kids, You Made It Weird and Doug Loves Movies on a regular basis. All I was trying to do was defend the fact that anyone can do what they want especially if it's different. The only thing similar is the interview but you guys have two completley different styles. Yours was more free flowing (and thats a compliment) whereas EOR's was straight to the point. This is a small written interview. Your's is a large audio interview. It's more conveniant to read something this small than listen to an hour long anything. That's the only point I was trying to make and sorry if you got offended in any way. Nothing was ever meant as a shot at you or your podcast.
