WWE THREE HOUR RAW Draft 2009
The show opens up with an epic video package of Wrestlemania XXVI. It highlights Undertaker retaining his streak, Rob Van Dam & Edge winning their respective titles, Bryan Danielson coming out victorious in the Scramble match & Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels owning. Shane McMahon comes out, and introduces us. He says that although we're rebounding off one of the best Wrestlemania’s in the last decade, the show must keep rolling, and tonight, everyone's on the line. Every match is a brand vs. brand, and in the main event we will see all three champions go at it in a triple threat match that give's their brand three drafts. But, the odds may vary for which brand gets the win, as by the end of the night, who knows? Maybe two championships will be on one brand. Anyways, the point is, there’s nothing but possibilities Every singles match is worth one draft, and tag team and triple threat matches are worth two(excluding the main event). Get it? Got It! Good.

We return & see Cody Rhodes in the ring. Although he lost at WM, he's going to redeem himself, and try to win ECW a draft pick tonight. One thing though, his opponent is none other than the man who forced his former partner Ted Dibiase Junior to leave the WWE last night in Phoenix, Arizona. Can Cody defeat his former mentor in the squared circle?
Match 1
Randy Orton(RAW) vs. Cody Rhodes(ECW)
The match goes very good, and the crowd got behind Rhodes, big time. Rhodes did all he could, from a moonsault, to a diving elbow, and even a cutter of his own, but in the end it looked as if Randy Orton had it won. Randy countered a aerial clothesline with a dropkick, then measured for the Punt. The crowd boos, and tells Cody to beware of Orton, but Cody is oblivious to what's going on. Cody slowly gets up and gets nailed by the vicious punt to the head! Randy covers, and its over.
Result: Randy Orton pins Cody Rhodes
Draft Pick: Christian is drafted to RAW from ECW

We return to our first tag team match of the night, as we will have Smackdown!'s Unified Champions; Luke Gallows & CM Punk aka the Straightedge Society take on RAW's newest alliance of the Big Show & the Miz!
Match 2
Luke Gallows & CM Punk(Smackdown!) vs. Big Show & the Miz(RAW)
Decent match that saw CM Punk stand out. The crowd boos both teams, but in the end, CM Punk had Miz for a GTS, but he turned around into a Haymaker from Big Show. Punk was KO'd, and Big Show fled the ring, and went outside so the referee didn't catch on. Miz lifted Punk, and went for a Twisting Neck breaker, but Gallows tagged himself in, and hit a big boot to an unaware Miz. Gallows pins, and wins.
Result: Luke Gallows pins The Miz
Draft Pick: Shawn Michaels & ECW Champion Bryan Danielson to Smackdown!
Bryan Danielson comes out without Shawn Michaels but with his new ECW Championship as the crowd cheers him on. Danielson points at the Straightedge Society in the ring, signaling a possible feud?
We go backstage and see WWE Champion RVD walking around. He bumps into Triple H who tells him to watch his back on RAW, if he stays. Because come Backlash Triple H is done playing with underclassmen championships, and is looking to retain what is rightfully his. Pfft, like this guy won the belt like over thirteen times.
{Commercial Break}
We return to the ring when ECW’s Ezekiel Jackson comes out for the first triple threat of the night, which just like the previous Tag Team match, is worth two draft picks. We just saw a World Champion be drafted showing just how important these matches can be. Next, we have another young blood, as RAW’s Jack Swagger comes out, and does some push ups. Can Swagger be successful tonight? Or will his plans be foiled by the man representing Smackdown!, whom is their newest roster member, Shawn Michaels!
Match 3
Ezekiel Jackson(ECW) vs. Jack Swagger(RAW) vs. Shawn Michaels(Smackdown)
Surprisingly entertaining match, as all three men were put over by each other, especially Shawn Michaels who got hit with both of his opponents finishers in the match. Shawn Michaels then got the crowds support, and fought through both men, and took it to them 100%. But at the end, a surprise interference took place when Ezekiel Jackson was back dropped outside, and in the ring were just Jack Swagger, and Shawn Michaels. Michaels back faced the entrance ramp, and he had just finished using a barrage of moves from his arsenal, and tuned up the band. Shawn has Swagger knocked out on the floor after the Superkick, but Batista called Shawn from the ramp with a microphone. Shawn turned around, and was completely distracted telling Batista to come down to the ring. Batista teased Shawn, and Ezekiel Jackson came in, and hurdled Shawn outside. Jackson then choke slammed a groggy Jack Swagger, and won ECW two draft picks.
Result: Ezekiel Jackson pins Jack Swagger
Draft Picks: Rey Mysterio & omfg, WWE Champion Rob Van Dam to ECW! wtf?
WWE Champion RVD comes out, and is hysterical, as this is the second time he goes to ECW after winning the WWE Championship. Rob doesn’t mind the downgrade, and says ECW is about to get turned around with Mr. Tuesday Night in the building!
Rob Van Dam goes to the back, and we visit the commentators for a bit until Big Dave Batista comes out from the back about to represent Smackdown! against RAW in a Singles match. Not many wrestlers in any company let alone RAW be able to handle the Animal. So his opponent will have to be someone of epic proportions, and that’s just what he is, as the man who lost to Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels last night, John Cena arrives! The crowd gives a mixed reaction, as Cena comes out, and prepares to due battle with a foe.
Match 4
Batista(Smackdown!) vs. John Cena(RAW)
Intense match with plenty of classic wrestling. Batista connected with four spinebusters, a Batista Bomb, and a Spear, and none of these moves put away the Doctor of Thuganomics who took countless pages out of the manual of Bret Hart to win back the fans, as John Cena tried for a Sharpshooter, connected with a Spike Piledriver, and a German Suplex bridging into a pin. The end saw Cena setup for the F-U but Batista bounced off, and ran to the ropes behind Cena where he bounced off, and connected with a tremendous Spear. Batista covers, but only gets the two count as the crowd boo’s at the result. Next, Batista setup for another finisher, the Batista Bomb. He stood over Cena’s head, and faced the Entrance Ramp, until, Shawn Michaels is seen running down the ramp for Batista. HBK climbs the apron as if he’s about to enter, and Batista runs at him to knock him off. Michaels jumps off of the apron, and Batista swings at nothing but air as he calls Shawn a coward. Batista goes crazy wanting Shawn’s blood but eventually turns around into a Fireman’s Carry. Cena executes the F-U, and is about to pin until he traps the Animal in the Sharpshooter! The crowd starts to applaud the noble victory for Cena & the RAW brand.
Result: John Cena forces Batista to submit
We go to a break before finding out who the draft pick is.
{Commercial Break}
Draft Pick: World Heavyweight Champion Edge!
WTF~! The crowd goes manic as Edge returns to RAW finally after a long stint in Smackdown!. The World Heavyweight Championship is also back on RAW, and this is probably one of the most historical drafts in wrestling history as all three world champions have changed brands. Edge & John Cena smile at each other as John Cena doesn’t approve of what he has done, bringing back his foe. Though Edge smirks and says he’s a changed man.
Next, we have “The Game†play as Triple H comes out, followed by Chris Jericho in the last match before the main event.
Match 5
Triple H(RAW) vs. Chris Jericho(Smackdown!)
Triple H and Jericho put on quite the show, and carried the match for eighteen minutes. In the end, after plenty of near falls, Triple H was dominating, and just hit the knee drop as a counter to a backdrop. Jericho bounced off Hunter’s knee, and Triple H downs the Smackdown! star with a kick to the midsection, then setup for his signature Pedigree. Chris Jericho takes Triple H down, and then locks in the Walls of Jericho, and applies all the pressure in the world trying to make his Wrestlemania X-8 opponent tap out. Trips fights the hold, and begins to move his legs forward before eventually breaking the hold, and making Jericho go running into the ropes. Jericho makes the best out of his situation and goes for the Springboard Moonsault, but lands on his feet to find no Triple H who then takes him down with a clothesline. Triple H picks up Jericho, and goes for the Pedigree, but once again, Jericho counters, and goes for the Codebreaker, but Triple H connects with a Spinebuster! The crowd goes wild, as Triple H poses, and stalks before finally hitting the Pedigree, and making the pin!
Result: Triple H pins Chris Jericho
Draft Pick: *GONG* The lights go out completely, as we all know who’s in our presence. Triple H is seen smiling, and nodding his head in a “fuck†type of way. Triple H is on his knee’s, but gets up, and waits for the lights to come back on as *GONG* sounds again. The symphony plays, as Undertaker pops out from no where in the ring behind Triple H. Triple H turns around, and looks at Undertaker. Undertaker signals for the title, and does his eye roll thing, as the crowd goes crazy. Undertaker is finally on RAW after being stuck on Smackdown! ever since the brand extension.
{Commercial Break}
We go to the ring as we prepare for the biggest match all night long. All three world champions will face off in a triple threat match, but there is a twist, as all three champions represent different brands now. The ECW Champion; Bryan Danielson belonging to Smackdown!, Smackdown!’s World Heavyweight Champion Edge now owned by RAW, and the WWE Champion Rob Van Dam heading to ECW. First to come out, is the first that was drafted tonight, Bryan Danielson, as he flaunts his ECW Championship to the crowd, and wears a Smackdown! T-shirt. Next, is WWE Champion, and both ECW roster member, and original, Rob Van Dam coming out with the spinner belt. Lastly, is the man who headlined Wrestlemania, World Heavyweight Champion, and the man who has changed his attitude towards life recently, Edge comes out to a pop from the crowd(shocking I know).
Main Event
Bryan Danielson(Smackdown!) vs. Rob Van Dam(ECW) vs. Edge(RAW)
The match is probably the highlight of the night, and everyone was matched here, and looked like a true champion. Everyone connected with finishers early on in the match, and Edge delivered a Spear to RVD that could have ended the match, but Danielson was quick, and cunning, and broke the count. In the end, it was Danielson battling Edge, as Bryan dodged a clothesline, and dropped Edge with a drop toe hold. Danielson got up, and stalked Edge getting ready for Cattle Mutilation, as he awaited for the Rated R Superstar. Edge turns around, and gets trapped in the move, as Bryan applies the hold! The crowd cheers, but RVD comes in, and breaks the hold! Edge falls towards the side, as RVD & Danielson due battle with each other. Eventually, RVD gets the upper hand, and drops Danielson with a Monkey Flip. This leads to an attempt at the Five Star Frogsplash, but as he goes through midair, Danielson puts up his knees, and Rob lands on them. Rob bounces up, and holds his abdomen in pain, as he rests on the turnbuckles. Rob now upset, turns to assault a down, and recovering Danielson, but Edge connects with the Spear! Edge covers near the corner, but Danielson pulls Edge off, and sends him outside. Danielson quickly covers the down WWE Champion, and receives the biggest win all night, and gets not one, nor two, but three draft picks for his new home, Smackdown!
Result: Bryan Danielson pins Rob Van Dam
Draft Picks: The crowd goes silent, as the last one is always known to be the craziest, and tonight’s been full of crazy draft picks. First, it’s the United States Champion MVP! The crowd boo’s MVP’s picture. Next, we have the man who is set to escalate to the top of the WWE pretty soon via his Money In The Bank contract, Kofi Kingston! The crowd cheers, making him the exact opposite of MVP’s response. Lastly, the screen goes through every WWE star, before suddenly stopping on none other than the man who’s probably had the most successful, and dominant career in the WWE for the last three years, the man who spent his rise as a star killing legends, then destroying careers, families, and retiring stars from his generation. This man has been known as a Viper, a Legend Killer, a WWE Champion but he only has one original name, and that is Randy Orton! “Voices†plays as the crowd boo’s. The camera expects Orton to show up from the back, as does the crowd, but he doesn’t. Bryan Danielson awaits Orton with his ECW Championship, but then Randy Orton, as swift as a Viper, comes in from the crowd, and hops the barricade. He rolls into the ring, and sneaks up behind Danielson. Danielson turns only to get nailed with his first RKO in his career, and also the first RKO Randy Orton executed on his return to Smackdown!. The crowd boo’s as Randy Orton stands over Danielson, and spits on the ECW Championship. Randy Orton poses on the turnbuckles, and the crowd boo’s.
The End.
