I wouldn't have an issue if the Miller/Diaz fight was a title eliminator. In fact if I was Dana White I would use this as a great opportunity to push the card a bit more by promoting this fight as a number one contender fight. It may not mean that much but it does give the fight, and card, a bit more importance.

Being marketable doesn't mean shit in MMA though.

Guys like Damien Maia, Thales Leites, Gray Maynard and Patrick Cote have headlined PPV's before, so Miller should have been no problem.

Who were everyone besides Maynard facing?

Marketability means everything in a solo sport. This is why people want to be on cards headlined by GSP or Lesnar and Chuck before they retired and not on cards headlined by Dominick Cruz and people of his ilk.

I'll be leaving Friday morning for this show, it's about 2 1/2 hours from me. Weigh ins are Friday @ 4pm The Show is Saturday, and I'll be driving back home right after the show. I can't stand New Jersey, and would normally never go but i didn't want to miss this UFC show.

Dana's done it again, came out today and said the winner of Koscheck/Hendricks would get the next shot at the title after GSP/Condit. In about two weeks all of this will change and two new contenders will emerge though.

Really have no interest in Koscheck/GSP III.

That's awful news, should be Ellenberger/Kampmann winner getting the shot IMO.

Still not interested in the mainevent at all, Miller will most likely make this boring.

Kos/GSP would be stupid since trilogy bouts are made because of split results. No one wants to see Rampage/Wandy trilogy fights.

Here's the Press Conference for UFC on Fox 3, Starts at 10:06

Think it's hilarious that Nate Diaz gave like 1-3 word answers for all the questions asked to him and the crowd would go crazy for him. Wish i could've went to this, but it's alright because I've got the weigh ins tomorrow! So that helps make up for missing this.

I'm off to Jersey for UFC. I'll get there around 12:30-1(depending on traffic) and the weigh ins are @ 4. I'll have my laptop and phone so i'll make a few posts here and there while waiting around for the weigh ins to start.

Beyond psyched for Tomorrow night :mark:

Had the weigh ins for this show at 4, it was pretty awesome i didn't get a chance to go to the weigh ins the last time i went to a UFC show so it's defiantly been a treat for me. Back at the hotel for a little bit to check a few things on my laptop.

I've not caught anything yet, not really interested in the TUF stuff. I just wanna catch the Hathaway, Ferguson, Barry and main card fights

What a fantastic fight for The Talent! Kudos also on trying to pull of a submission I've never seen executed in UFC. Or Strikeforce. Or WEC.. well, you get the point.
