I was finally able to catch the entire first fight. Youtube and stuff only offer that 5th round and the kick. I wanted to see the whole fight and the UFC channel on the 360 has the fight available for free.

And if this rematch is anything like that fight... man alive it is going to be amazing. That was such a close fight. Very very close. Full of action. It was like they never tired at all. 4th round, 5th round and they still going hard like its the 1st round. And yes... that kick was awesome. But that fight was amazing. I'm even more pumped for this fight now than I was before.

But I will say I think one of the judges was on drugs. 48-47, 48-47, and 49-46? Really? But... this is gonna be awesome.

Barnett is gonna wipe the floor with Mir.

It'll be a massacre.

Mendes vs Guida looks like another one of those Wile E Coyote vs Road Runner fights. Even if Mendes catches him it won't be exciting.

My friend's boyfriend is a coach for Brandon Vera. So yeah... I thought that was pretty cool. They all there.

Wow, I can't even believe it. How the hell did Henderson lose so easily? That was too clean a loss. I'm honestly speechless.

My jaw dropped when Pettis started celebrating. No way in hell did I see a verbal submission coming, unreal. I'm disappointed as a fan but that was nasty and a contender for submission of the year.

Very good ppv but I'm still bitter on one of the worst stoppages in history. Sure Josh could have landed two or three more punches, but let that happen first. Mir got up and looked fine, total bullshit. Hope they do a rematch because that was a massive let down. Josh did great and totally dominated, but give me a break on that actually be given a knockout.

Hope Mendes gets a title shot before Swanson, he's looked incredible ever since that loss.

Just got home from Buffalos. That first fight was awesome. That was awesome.

Vera looked a whole lot better than he has in his past few fights but... I felt he wouldn't win against Big Ben and sure enough... it didn't happen.

Glad to see Guida lose. And it wasn't by decision. Got tired of seeing him running away from everyone and always escaping shots. But I do not want to see Mendes vs. Aldo again. Aldo knocked him out already in the first round.

Mir vs. Barnett... I dunno why I keep expecting to see a better Mir. Everytime I start to get behind him... he loses. And this time... he flat lost. Barnett with that knee knocked him flat out. Yeah he came back to like immediately but mannnn I dunno what is left for Mir to do.

And the main event. I pegged Pettis to win but I did not expect a first round sub. Nobody at my table expected a first round sub. We all sittin there like... wait what? Its over? Already? Pettis was nailing those body kicks though. Had to wonder if those were gonna start taking effect cause those were some solid shots. But mannnn... I was expecting a 5 round war between those two. Congrats to Pettis though.

Overall... definitely a much better main card than that crap Aldo card.

How did it knock him flat out? He got up right immediately after the bell and said he was okay? Dana said it was bullshit and thousands of people did. If they don't do a rematch between Barnett and Mir, that's bullshit. Sure Josh would probably win, but at least make it fair.

These guys are machines. They can get knocked flat out unconscious and then within the next second or a few seconds after that they are back up as if nothing happened.

But the guy went completely limp on the mat. For him to take anymore abuse after that... any more punches... would have been unnecessary. Yeah it looked like a bad stoppage but the guy was completely out for that second or two.

And to bring up the Carwin fight... the ref should have stopped it after that first pummeling. To me that was a bad stoppage to allow Mir to take that much extra abuse before stopping the fight. Yeah he can take a beating and keep on going but it doesn't mean its necessary to push him to those limits.

Mir was knocked out for a split second, thats all it takes. If MMA is as safe as everyone claims then thats all it takes.

Fucking awesome to see Pettis beat Bendo again, and with relative ease. No fluke here. Was a fantastic fathers day present to me.

LOL at Mir claiming he went for a shot, he got hit with that knee and he dropped like a sack of potatoes, if that was a shot attempt, then ir has the greatest reflexes of all time to drop his knee 1/100th of a second after he was knee'd in the face.

You can never take the word of the guy who lost to seriously, of course he'll claim it was unjust. He wanted to win, any slight opportunity to complain about a loss and 99% of fighters, 99% of athletes in any sport generally will.
