Jon Jones is becoming a villian... I love it. I love rooting for the bad guy, have loved it all my life. I was saying since he beat Shogun that JJ was a phony. I knew it all along, and I know it now. And now what? Everyone finally figures out after criticizing me for hating on "the future"?
I still like Jones as a fighter he will always entertain me. As a person I am not that big on him anymore. I use to like him as a person because I thought he meant well, now I can see the phoniness people talk about.

And that's exactly how I'll still be a fan, but it's always been clear how fake he was, and the only once who really saw that was me.
Anyways, Chael is trolling him so hard and it's hilarious. Joe Rogan questions why he didn't accept the fight with Chael. Charlie Brenneman requests that his paycheck get mailed by JJ to his home in NJ. Maybe Jon is gotten to? Is he really afraid of Chael? #BonesKnows
Just listened to the conference call about this and holy fuck does Dana go in hard, he absolutely rips the shit of Jones and Greg Jackson like literally buries them.
Dana should worry about making a better card next time. UFC 137 they lost GSP vs Condit but a strong co main event B.J Penn vs Nick Diaz was good enough to keep as a main event and to deliver an awesome fight. They also had guys like Kongo, Cro Cop, and Nelson on the card to keep fans pumped. The card took a hit but it was good enough to withstand the loss of a great main event like GSP vs Condit. I'll get into this more tomorrow but Dana should stop making one fight cards because UFC 151 was the absolute worst in a core card.
It was a change of fighters with 8 days notice it would be unfair since Bones has been training for Henderson and anyone saying he's chickenshit couldn't be more wrong he's being smart and I am sure they will fight in the future.
This is a crazy ass situation but I don't get the argument about how Jones turned down Chael cause he didn't prepare for him simply because it's not like Chael trained for him either so they would both be at disadvantage. So this really doesn't make Jones look good at all.
Yeah, the only thing Chael would've done is get to 205lbs. Jones has had a full camp, regardless of if it was in preparation for Dan Henderson. I mean hell, Bisping took on Chael with only 8 days to prepare for him back in January and he's a mediocre fighter compared to Jones.
It is good though in a way, because these two will eventually fight and this all happening is going to help with the build up to that fight.
I mean I hate that Jones didn't accept the fight... but I mean... yeah he is the champion and the champ should always be willing to try to get the show going but it's still real risky cause he'd be facing off against a guy that has nothing to lose and will pretty much look good no matter what in the fight win or lose whereas if Jones were to get upset and lose... shoot that's a big time hit. But... in the end... Jones should have did whatever he could to keep the show going. This was his card, his show and he walked out and partial blame has to go to the Jackson camp.
But this is very irritating. I was really looking forward and now I have to hope I'll be off on the 22nd or get off in time to see. I mean Jones is a very exciting fighter and it'd be good to see what he does... but considering how this went down... almost hoping for Machida to get the win.
That's the other thing if anything Chael would have to do more to get ready for the fight than Jones since as you said he would have to move up in weight. All this is doing is making Chael look good and make Jones look like he's afraid of Chael though I don't think that is the case or at least I hope it isn't the case.
