Okay, so you're right, GSP does often go into a decision a bit more confidently, but that's neither here nor there. First of all, I'm not taking anything away from GSP, his skill is phenomenal and I do like him a lot, in fact, I hope he beats Condit, but let's be honest here his fights suck to watch. That fight last night was well worth watching. I don't understand how you'd rather watch a fight with GSP dominating but boring everyone over what you saw last night because there wasn't a clear winner. That's just ass backwards. Edgar did try to finish, and he couldn't. All that proves is that Bendo is that good. Who cares if he hasn't finished against other opponents. If I'm not mistaken, he still beat both Penn and Maynard and isn't that what matters? Winning is all that matters and he still won so your argument is basically irrelevant to what I'm saying. You're bitching about him not finishing saying he should drop down in weight when he easily held his own against Henderson and probably should've won last night. There are guys that finish and guys that don't, but as long as they win that's what matters. If he drops down, he's basically gonna dominate the featherweight division sans for possibly Jose Aldo who I still think he'd beat.

I would rather watch GSP because to me his fights are exciting. But what fights are exciting to me and what fights are exciting to you are based solely on the observer. I like seeing his gameplan unfold and how he can take someone's strength and use it against them in such a way that he shows that... yeah I'm better than you in your best area. So while it may seem like you aren't much of a GSP fan... I am. He's one of my top 5 fave fighters.

And as far as the fight last night... I'm not sure where I said it was boring because I don't recall. I'm not sure where I said Edgar was boring because I also don't recall that. What I do find boring though is how Edgar has to fight the same guy over and over and over. He fought Penn, fought him again, then Maynard and Maynard again and then Henderson and then Henderson again. The repetitiveness of the situation is what I find boring. Not the fighters themselves. Edgar... hell the guy is as durable as anybody I've seen. The amount of abuse he took against Henderson in their first fight, that upkick to the face and he still fought on? The guy is a freak of nature but he has clouded the lightweight title fights with so many rematches that its dull and I honestly can't stand that aspect. But I'm not saying, and understand this, I'm not saying anything negative about Edgar himself. His fights are good to watch but I'm just not a fan. And I would much rather watch a GSP fight than an Edgar fight.

And as far as the move down to featherweight... yeah he can handle the lightweight but think of the excitement that he can create in the featherweight which is what he is better built for. His size is better made for featherweight. Plus Aldo doesn't have any real challenges in his division so a fight against a guy like Edgar? Come on now you know that would be freakin awesome to watch. And not only that but if Edgar were to win... he'd be in a very very rare elite crowd of guys that have held a title in two divisions.

The move down to featherweight would not hurt Edgar in the least but help. Staying in lightweight... he has a line to wait behind before his next shot... so it would do him better to move down.

I am a GSP fan. I love his finesse and although I'll admit that I enjoy watching more finesse in terms of striking than ground game as I said, it cannot be denied that his skill is absolutely phenomenal. I just wish he would go in for the kill once in a while instead of going to decision all the time. I've always thought that's one thing that would really hurt him if he ever fought Silva was that Silva would come at him and since GSP never finishes, it'd become something of a weakness because I just don't feel he's aggressive enough. He has all of the skill to finish and he never does. As I said, I stick by Edgar staying lightweight. I think he can handle it and if he has to rework his game plan and get back to the top then so be it cause he definitely will.

I was lumping together responses, so I don't think you actually said the fight was boring or maybe something you said was misconstrued, I don't pretend to know.

Edgar just showed me that he doesn't check leg kicks and would get demolished by Aldo i e droppped down.

Also, Bendo won the fight.
