I've gone through and updated every PPV card in the MMA section.

Anyways, UFC 146 is officially set and it's looking to be one hell of a PPV. I'm really unsure of who i want to win between JDS-Mir i think I'll end up going with Mir but i have a feeling JDS is going to take the win here. Think Cain-Bigfoot isn't that great of a fight and if Cain doesn't win i have no clue where that's going to put him. Roy Nelson REALLY needs a win here, and i think if he doesn't get it then he's going to be on the verge of getting cut or he'll drop to 205. I like his chances in this match up, and i think it might be one of the only fights that goes all three rounds. Shane Del Rosario makes his UFC debut at this show also against undefeated Stipe Miocic, Del Rosario is undefeated as well. Mark Hunt vs. Stefan Sturve is kind of an odd fight and i really like Struve but i don't like his chances in this fight at all. Hunt wants a title shot, and i think he's going to run right through him.

The prelim card is pretty good also, defiantly worth checking out.

My predictions

Mir def JDS, 4th round Sub
Cain def Bigfoot 2nd round Ko
Roy Nelson def Gonzaga, decision
Shane Del Rosario def Miocic, 3rd round Ko
Mark Hunt def Struve, 1st round KO

Even the FX prelims don't look too shabby either might have to try watch them for a change with Diego on there and Mayhem hopefully getting smashed.

Dan Hardy, from 5 rounds with GSP to FACEBOOK preliminaries :lmao

:lmao

It's funny because his fight started as the co-mainevent at this show originally and as more fights kept getting announced he kept dropping down the card further and further, hopefully he gets sent packing from the UFC after this fight.

I really like this poster that they put out for the show. And i know a lot of people aren't to thrilled about the flyweights, but i watched McCall/Johnson's first fight and trust me it's going to be one hell of a fight. There was a ton of controversy around that fight with the judges botching the decision, but this fight is a damn good fight and i promise you if you watch this fight you wont be disappointed. It's for the number on contendership to the Flyweight championship so it's going to add a little something to it. Leonard Garcia-Matt Grice is going to be a good fight and even though Mike Pierce lost his fight to Koscheck I'm starting to like him so It'll be nice to see him fighting on this card as well.

Yeah.... I think hardy finally realizes that he is on his last leg and one more loss and he is gone. To go from main eventing to facebook prelims... yeah he better win and win big with his "big hands" otherwise he is done and is gonna be fighting elsewhere.

I wouldn't mind if he got sent to Strikeforce, but I can pretty much guarantee he'll end up in Bellator or some shit.

I agree with you that UFC should use FuelTV for a weekly news show and Best of shows rather than running events on there.

It is a good poster, I always laugh when I see his moustache definitely makes him stand out as a fighter. I will probably check this card out but it is so long away I don't know what I will be doing on the day.

The whole card does look awesome and I hope that they will show some of the Facebook prelims on tv if them have time. I really want to see Dan Hardy's fight just to see if he can keep his job with UFC. Won't do my predictions yet as too many things can change in a month so we never know if the card will change again, hopefully it doesn't.

On a side note pretty impressive that we are already over 130 posts with a month to go before the PPV.

The main card has the potential to be really short, so they'll defiantly be showing prelims fights during the actual PPV. And I'm hoping this thread and the UFC 148 thread break records in the MMA section.

Gabriel Gonzaga had to pull out of the show due to a back injury, so Roy Nelson's new opponent is Dave Herman.

First was Roy vs. Big Foot, Then Roy vs Gonzaga and now this

Also Jamie Varner is now returning to the UFC to replace Evan Dunham, and will be taking on Edson Barboza in the prelims for this show. Good opportunity for him.

UFC 149 takes place on July 21st, 2012 from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was originally not looking like the greatest card at all but it slowly came together. Thankfully, although i still think the main event isn't going to be that great. Bisping-Boetsch was originally on UFC 148 but was moved over to this card and now this card is pretty good, WAY better than it was originally going to be.

My Predictions: Aldo via KO, Shogun Via Decision, Bisping via Decision, Big Nog via KO and i'm going to go with the under dog and go with Akiyama to pick up a well needed win.
