Thought I'd make mention of this

In anticipation of their highly anticipated UFC 143 interim welterweight title fight, former Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz (26-7 MMA, 7-4 UFC) and former WEC titleholder Carlos Condit (27-5 MMA, 4-1 UFC) will be featured in the FX-debut edition of "UFC Primetime," a three-part special.

As a reminder, the first episode airs Friday, Jan. 20, at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT, with subsequent episodes premiering in the same timeslot on Jan. 27 and Feb. 3

Different from the UFC's traditional "Countdown" shows, "UFC Primetime" goes more in depth and focuses on some of the biggest fights of the year. The most recent "Primetime" special, for example, (a special single-episode "Primetime" that aired on FOX) focused on this past November's heavyweight title clash between current champion Junior Dos Santos and former title-holder Cain Velasquez. The two met at UFC on FOX 1.

Definitely worth checking out.

Hoping that this will air in Australia. I am pretty sure they aired the Dos Santos/Velasquez Primetime show but they aren't consistent with showing these UFC specials here.

The second episode of UFC Primetime: Diaz Vs Condit is going to be on in about 30 mins, I'll get it posted on here tomorrow for anybody who misses it tonight.

The first one was pretty good.

I felt like they were going a bit overboard with the stereotyping though, Diaz is favourite and a dick obviously, but the episode painted Condit as the uber babyface of MMA and a huge underdog, which I dont agree with.

Also, side note - not sure if Condit's wife is hot or not. Will report back with findings after Ep2.

Yeah those were my thoughts exactly on it, but it was still pretty good hoping this new episode focuses more on Diaz.

This show is next weekend, crazy that there has been a UFC show the last 3 weekends. Really expecting Diaz to take the title here, and set him self up for a fight with GSP this Summer. And I'm also actually looking forward to the Roy Nelson/Fabrico Werdum fight, and even though Koschek is a dick i fully expect him to get a win here.

Second part of Primetime wasn't bad, I liked how they got GSP involved in it.

Seemed like they are counting out Condit though (so am I), most of it was "Diaz hates GSP, GSP hates Diaz".

The second part was really good, and the last part of the series is this Friday should be the best one yet, with the fight being Saturday and what not.
