Relatively new. It was created, I think, shortly after the Musk Twitter takeover was done. For the longest time you only got an account after you've been either invited or on a waiting list. I was on it for months, before I finally got the email and my account. I think you can join now without waiting.

It's a relatively new social media platform, it's basically twitter but not owned by Elon or Zuckerberg
