Blue Sky is getting a lot more active. It's nice not having the culture warriors constantly in the replies spouting nonsense. Or all the porn ads and shitty mobile game ads. Or just straight up seeing a tweet praising Hitler as a fucking AD forced into my feed.

I think Blue Sky is here to stay. Will only get more popular as the Trump-Musk dumpster fire continues to blaze.

I've used it since 2009. It was nowhere near this bad even in 2020, which was an insane year.

You didn't have so many porn bots and Nazi tweets and misinformation peddlers promoted to your feed. People actually got banned when they used racial slurs. It was worlds apart from what it is now. Not perfect, but miles better than this shithole.

Yeah. I’ve had the same people try to say the same thing to me, and it’s like, yeah Twitter was toxic then sure, but it’s way worse now. I only keep mine to get the very few items of news that haven’t went to Bluesky yet. Once I don’t need it for the last few things there it’s gone.

Went ahead and deactivated my Twitter account.

Triggered a few Trump supporters on my way out. He was mentioned during the prayer during the NASCAR race so i said Fuck Donald Trump. got a few people in my mentions defending their cult leader. I think that was a fun way to go out. Almost wish I kept it active so that's forever a tweet. But fuck it.
