I agree about Foley as a wrestler at this stage as I don't care for him as a in ring performer anymore but it's hard to deny what he can do on the mic if they don't use him for pointless segments.

Mick Foley is still damn good on the mic, especially when he got serious and stopped bullshitting around, but if he were to be used on TV, it would have to just be some one-off appearances, and not a long term feud or anything. I really don't want to see him in the ring again.

I can't buy this considering how much Foley helped WWE after all the steroid scandals. To say that he was always a nobody is complete and utter bullshit considering he's easily one of the top 5 figures of the Attitude Era. I can't say that he should return to in ring action, but he's always been great on the mic and the fans usually like an appearance once in a while.

It really does seem like an old report especially because of this line "He says Foley ‘doesn’t look tough’ and can’t be taken seriously as an in-ring performer."

Foley isn't back in WWE to wrestle he is there to make appearances, cut promos and do everything outside the ring. He doesn't need to look tough to talk on the mic, be an announcer or be the GM. I also doubt that HHH would be so against the guy that helped make him a star and that put him over again and again.

Well Mick Foley was back on RAW tonight to build towards the 1000th RAW so I don't know what that says about this report.

Says the report wasn't typical Meltzer bullshit. The arena security guard knows more about whats going on at next weeks show then Meltzer does.

Yes, he is the great boogeyman who puts the kibosh on who gets pushed and who gets pushed over a cliff.

It's like 03 again.

Yeah this report is BS.

It is true that Foley took a shot at HHH in his book and also at shawn michaels but he also said this at the end -

Have no clue about their working relationship but I would think HHH has respect for Foley and sees his value to WWE in a non-wrestling role. I would hope for the good of the company that there is no truth to this story.
