Was just about to post this almost to the T. Hopefully it's a great film
Source material is crazy and the Steve Carell character is enough to get him some hollow awards.

Like I said before, I think this might be the first superhero movie that the majority of the comedy is actually funny to me. Usually I laugh at one or two jokes, but just wish they left the others out, but this one looks hilarious.

Trailers can be misleading, I really hope this one is because it makes the film seem really cheesy and lame. Poots is one of the most promising up and coming actresses (see Filth for example), it'll be worth a look I think.

Unexpected Journey was a great film. More towards the younger audience(more so with the extended edition), but I would say still on par with Fellowship of the Ring. I have yet to see Desolation of Smaug, so I cant comment there.

But that Mad Max: Fury Road, typically I would be against remakes, but I just cant say a bad word about that teaser. Could be a love for the post apocalyptic, could just be that I grew up on Mad Max and just want more, but I cant wait.

Seems the general consensus is the DoS was great unless you read the books because they changed a lot. I enjoyed it though.

I didn't read the books, I don't care what were in the books and I liked what I saw on screen. I don't read fiction, I watch it. I read non-fiction books.

Smaug was pretty good, a lot more action than Journey, no exposition about the Shire for over an hour.

In this case I would say these stories do work better in film form. I did hear the second film was an improvement.

Chances are I will leave Mad Max, just love the origanals so much.

The Blair Witch now feels a life time ago, and that film looks a poor rehash of that movie. But since it is from the same director I will give it a shot.
