I'd point this out as a towny thing to do but I seem to remember having played a game with a lot of scum goodguying so...

(I was also once accused of goodguying despite being town)

Because a game shouldn't be ruined by having a scum team with no theme knowledge (see: Game Show Mafia)

i could understand knowing what lynching means. I knew that my first game because it’s pretty self-explanatory. The claim thing I could see being maybe something a newbie wouldn’t know. Again going off my own experience from when I played my first

I mean that's also really only the tip of the iceberg because even if you have an idea of what lynching and claiming is, if you're new you don't automatically make the connection that alright, I know player X's role so it doesn't really make sense for me to vote them here because it's a vote to lynch.

Very aware I'm playing into your point of bringing up old games but this reminds me of Junk last game but in reverse. You announce you've got a plan of some sort and then say something nonsensical. There's more of a logical progression so it makes me think this could easily be from a town point of view, but then I consider my view on Junk was wrong... conflicted tbh

That’s fair. When you put it in those words I can see what you mean. But at the same time it’s like, maybe they are just a fast learner, or lucked up and said something smart without even knowing it.

Like I said, I wanted to re-evaluate and make sure I wasn't making the wrong choice. And just because I'm new to playing the game, doesn't necessarily mean I haven't been around the block learning a few things.
