The Omen--Fuji Vice, Wang Chung

Damien is such a cute little son of the devil. The hell he creates will scare you to death off of a building.

Child's Play---Fuje Vise, Wang Chung

What a cute little doll. I see a trend in here in cuteness and evil beings. Don't fuck with the Chuck.

Just watch what you expose your self too and what hospitals you wake up in because you never know what will happen 28 days later.

The Thing--Fuji Vice

John Carpenter one of the masters of Horror created a nice little Alien film that some 20 years later was revisited in a prequel and hopefully a just as good sequel to the original. If you have not seen this you must.

More to come......... Stay Tuned unless you are too scared.

The Omen is one of those all-time classics that just keeps on giving years after its release. Still one of the better made horror films and I love that up until the very end, you're still not sure whether Damien is really the anti-Christ or whether it's all just a matter of coincidence. Sad that it's not ranked higher.

I like both Child's Play and Child's Play 2, in fact, I prefer the sequel, but I don't really think of them as "great" horror movies. More fun than anything else, before the series really went off the rails and never fully recovered.

I also like Friday Part VII a lot, but not nearly enough to include it on this list. Same goes for 28 Days Later.

As for The Thing, I'm kind of shocked to see nobody else vote for it and I feel that it's very odd to see a Part VII of anything ranked higher than a sequel that was better than the original and one of the directors best works. Anyway, I guess I can't complain because it's listed here, but yeah, there's just no way I can possibly imagine most of the movies on the list so far being better than it. This is probably because it's my favourite movie ever.

Actually when I started to put the tally together I kicked myself in the Ass for not including the Thing. I think what we are seeing right now until we get past all of the ties is the diversity in the group of Horror Fans too. I see where each film is but if you have more of an affinity towards lets say a slasher then you will have them listed high, just like Zombie groups or the supernatural ones. I personally like a variety from the horror field so sometimes only the first film in a series will be my tops or the best in the group.

Diversity is cool, but even if you remove affinity for certain types of movies or styles, it's really hard to say Friday the 13th Part VII is a better made movie than The Thing or has as lasting an impact.

Anyhow, no worries, just surprised was all.

Scre4m - Probably my second favourite of the Scream movies after the original, but not something that I would have put on my list. I really enjoyed doing the LD's of the Scream movies though, they were among the best we ever did at Pulse.

People Under the Stairs - I was really close to putting this one on my list, it's pretty original for a horror film from that time period and just a solid little horror film.

Night of the Living Dead - Being the original film will always give it a bit of leeway, but I think Romero's work was definitely to come. I have no issues with this one being on the list mind you, I just feel it's a tad dated now. Still really like the ending though, good social commentary without shoving it down your throat.

Jeepers Creepers - Not a bad little horror, I even like the sequel with the kids on the bus. I didn't even think about it when putting my list together, but I've got no problem with it being on here at all.

From Dusk til Dawn - I really liked this movie until they got into the club. I wish they'd just expanded that into a feature-length story.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Dream Master - One of my personal favourite horror movies, but not something I'd deem top 20 of all time material. I'll say this, Alice is a way better final girl than Nancy.

An American Werewolf in London - Surprised that only Wang and I picked this one, it's pretty much regarded as an all-time classic and has the best werewolf transformation scene ever put on film. Plus, how can you go wrong with Landis directing Griffin Dunne?

I'm hoping more of mine make it in now that we're getting into the nitty gritty of the list. EDIT: I saw that some others were posted, I'll chime in on those a little later.

and Fuji I would say you have a good shot at having some more on the list.

It's Alive. One of the most quoted and best lines in cinematic history along with one of the most recognizable film characters of all times.

Dracula (1931)--Fuji, Wang

The original well almost

but the vampire that has been around for a very long time with a multitude of pretenders. Looking at you Daywalkers. Bella Legosi is a beast guess that is why Ed Wood loved him so much.

Come back to see who will haunt you next.

Pretty good choices there, though I've never really considered Aliens a horror movie, it's more of an action film with some small horror elements added in. Also, while I really liked the new Evil Dead movie, there's no way I would consider it in the top 20 horrors of all time. Based on the amount of movies left I have to assume I voted for all of them, but I could be wrong.
