Well here it is the moment to find out who made the list, but first lets look at some nominated films that just didn't have enough votes to break the top 20.

Honorable Mentions

Sleepaway Camp---Fuje Vise, Wang

A fun camping story of hell. If you haven't seen it I was able to get the whole movie right up above me.

The Howling--Wang

The film that started my horror movie experience and one that I can watch all the time. An island of people who are all werewolves that act like it is a resort or getaway island for people to relieve stress but there is more than meets the eyes with this place.

Dead Alive--Fuji Vice

I can't believe that I forgot about this film when making my list. A fun little foray from Peter Jackson (yes the LOTR and Hobbit guy) about a down on his luck guy who lives with his mother that runs his life but he falls in love with a girl that his mother hates. His mother has an encounter with an ugly rat that causes her to become a Zombie and the fun begins.

So here are a few HM's to get this thing started. I will try to throw some out the list continues. Come back later for more and see where you picks landed.

I actually prefer Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers to the original, but I still like that one a lot as well and am glad to see it on this list.

The Howling is pretty good, but to me it always seems to get lost in the shuffle of 1981 werewolf movies. You had the satirical An American Werewolf in London and the downright weird Wolfen, two that come across more memorable than it due to their more unique qualities.

Not much to say about Dead Alive other than I can't believe nobody else voted for it.

I am sad Dead Alive isn't higher I loved that film and was pissed when I saw it on your list. I had a Homer Simpson moment.

The thing with Sleepaway Camp 1 is that the reveal at the end which I didn't see coming gave it the nod over the sequel. I did like how in the sequel he/she was more deadly with her murders.

Yep, the ending is pretty memorable. I think I just liked the satirical elements to the second one, plus Pamela Springsteen is killer (pun intended) as Angela.

Trick R Treat is a lot of fun, not something I'd put on my list but I'm fine with it being on here. I love anthology horror movies, although for some reason I don't think I included any on my list.

Totally forgot My Bloody Valentine, a damn good slasher and a Canadian one at that. We rule. If anyone here hasn't seen it, track down the uncut version, the splicing is a bit off, but the unedited violence more than makes up for it. Also, Hollis may be one of my favourite characters in any horror movie and one of the few that I felt really bad for when he died.

Candyman never really appealed to me, I've fallen asleep watching it a few times and all I really remember from it is Virginia Madsen crying while taking her clothes off. Still, Tony Todd fucking rules so I'm cool with it being on the list.

I get the myth behind Candyman and didn't fall asleep like you did. Now I can say My Bloody Valentine was a ball of fun and a lot of gore. I loved it.

Stay tuned more gore to come

SAW--The Viper

The movie that had morals for the victims. Nice film to start off a franchise that seemingly kept making to many movies.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre--Viper

The whole movie right ^ there bitches. The movie that made Leatherface a household name. A film about a real thing but in the wrong state and locale. Solid movie. Watch it and if you have seen the movie Summer School with everyone's favorite NCIS lead Gibbs (Mark Harmon) you will know the sentiment this film has inspired.

Nightmare on Elm Street III: Dream Warriors--Booty Tang

Dream Warriors is cool flick that started the Dream trilogy of the series and probably some of the best films too.

Honorable Mention of the day:

HM

Invasion of the Body Snatcher---Fuji Vice

Assuming Fuji was mentioning the 1956 version

Like I said earlier I think he was referring to this version over the 1978 one. I could be wrong, but I like this one to the latter. So here you go.

Saw was good for the time, but the sequels did a lot to cheapen the impact of the original. I like the movie but not enough to rank it top 20 (then again it seems like a lot of mine didn't make the final cut so what the hell do I know?).

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a standard and definitely a seminal horror film, the last one to miss the cut on my list. I also like the sequel and the rest of them are pretty fun as well.

Nightmare on Elm Street 3 is another one I considered, though I prefer The Dream Master as far as the sequels go. I only put one Freddy movie on my list, which I'm sure will be on here a little later, but I'm glad Dream Warriors got a mention if only for the fucking wicked Dokken song.

Yep, I was talking about the 1956 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the gold standard for paranoid horror and a movie that's still great today. I like the remake as well, but for totally different reasons.

Just so you know we had a 70 movies sent in and a shit ton of Ties. You have some on the list and bunch I would say, because you and I had some similar votes not in the same order but had some of the same. I also had a few of the others too. In the words of Huey Lewis: You aint seen nothing yet.

I figured that was the one. because it has RJ fucking Fletcher in it.
