They only had like 2 (?) singles match as well, seems it was mostly tag feuds just looking at cagematch. But it's also surprising he never touched Jericho again even in a non title feud in AEW too

I did, but also Hangman and Cody never feuded at least according to cage match, in BC then together with Cody actually

Yeah Cody’s green years was when Jericho was Champ so they’re not getting involved then.

By the time Cody becomes “Dashing” or wearing the mask, Jericho was in an out. And even then, Jericho was too big of a deal for that version of Cody.

I honestly think the most disappointing thing for me with Cody in AEW was never the world title stuff. it's that he just suddenly barely even recognized he was in the elite. he didnt partake in any of all the best angles. he didn't do ANYTHING with Kenny. it was just such a waste tbh, I wish I knew what led to them deciding to never interact other than very seldomly

I think from what we know now...it might be that it was also TK he didn't agree with creatively. A lot of the people Cody wanted to put over TK didn't care for. Especially on the low card. look at where a lot of guys are, Ogogo off tv and not even in roh, King not picked up, Fuego not re-signed. I am sure there are more examples. I think TK and Cody have very different ideas of what a top babyface is supposed to be in AEW as well. I don't think TK is a fan of the super clean babyface who does long winded promos.
