So get rid of the weight limit and make it a midcard belt again. It goes against the entire principle of the original division by having one.

Meh. The weight limit isn't really limiting anyone who would be in the division otherwise I don't think. The X Division used to be, and is supposed to still feel like a special entity, not just a mid card title. It was TNA's meal ticket early on, and with Aries having this amazing run it is once again the best thing happening on the show. To just try and make it a run of the mill mid card belt is a mistake IMO.

Side note since there is no Impact thread: I thought what they did with Garrett Bischoff tonight is more in line with what should have been happening all along.

The weight limit is good for marketing. It shows that, while WWE gives you "Generic Superman Big Guy vs Generic Cowardly Big Guy" in virtually every match, TNA can do something with the smaller, athletic guys.

Weight limit prevents AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Samoa Joe & a LOT more people from participating in X Division styles matches. Samoa Joe was a perfect example of not fitting the weight limit, but still being able to fit the style.

Also, Robbie E's gimmick is funny and he's cool. Zack Ryder doesn't even have the same gimmick as him, so I'm confused on why people associated them.

Come on Pulse, they're identical. Robbie saying bro after every sentence, the typical jersey shore look & feel. Sun glasses, gay spiked up hair. They literally saw Ryder and thought "Mmm, let's put it on this douche".

I've never seen Crayo as butt hurt over anything as he is Robbie E. I don't see you raging about Stone Cold stealing the Sandman's gimmick. Sometimes the 2nd guy to use a gimmick is just better at it, learn to cope.

I'm not butthurt at all, I don't watch Robbie E. Whenever he does make an appearance on Impact I pause the stream and post on here for a bit. Then return when I feel it's likely going to be over. No idea how you think Robbie E is better at it though, I think the lack of people giving one single crap about Robbie E is proof that Ryder (who I'm not super fan of) betters Robbie in the most ridiculous gimmick in wrestling.

The only thing that attaches Zack to ANY sort of a "guido" gimmick is that he spikes his hair... he left that gimmick like 6 months ago.

To be fair it took Zack about 2 years to get noticed as he debuted the Guido gimmick in 2009.

Seriously, Ryder's Guido gimmick is basically a thing of the past. He's more like a loveable douchebag/goofball at this point who still happens to tan and say bro.

Zack Ryder's advanced his character well, but Robbie E just overplays his.
