TNA to tape 4 weeks of Impact in UK

"HUGE IMPACT NEWS: The Manchester and Wembley events in January will now BOTH be double TV tapings! Details coming!"

The two Impacts from overseas were pretty good this year and the crowd was really hot, so I'm good with this.

Pretty good? That Sting tag match was horrific. Watching that old, jet lagged up guy barely touch Robert Roode was one of the worst sites I have ever seen.

Hopefully they got some better main events planned for the shows.

But compared to how Impact usually was at that time, they were pretty good. Plus the crowd was real hot, a hot crowd helps a lot even if the wrestling is terrible.

That's good for UK fans, but 4 weeks of tapings/spoilers? And the crowd for those 3rd and 4th shows will be so lost...

I really don't understand why they can't just stay over there for 4 weeks and do live shows. A month of tapings doesn't work well in the internet era.

He was definitely at the two televised shows towards the beginning of the year.

Interesting as it used to be in his contract dating back to the back end of his WCW career that he didn't do them, not even sure he did house shows on US soil.

Excellent move. The UK crowd last time was incredible so they deserve a couple of extra shows. They give a real reaction and a much louder reaction compared to the Impact Zone which is terrible. Yeah it will be annoying having four taped shows in a row but the crowd should help make up for it.

Yeah? How often do I bring up a crowd being hot as a reason why I like something? I think a hot crowd is one of the most overrated things when comparing stuff in wrestling.
