TNA Sacrifice 2012 Discussion Thread

I'm looking more forward to the Angle/AJ match than I am the title match. That tag team match looks sexy though.

Jeff Hardy vs Mr. Anderson, Bully Ray vs Austin Aries, and Gail defending the KO's title against Tessmacher have all been added.

Other than the main event which is almost guaranteed to have a bullshit ending and the KOs match, this card is actually looking pretty damn good.

Hardy/Anderson already feuded and that was pretty lame. Aries and Ray should be good, it is a feud which should help take Austin up a level even if he doesn't go over. KO match will be ok nothing more.

 

[Troy]

Would have been better if they didn't have Devon beat Bully Ray on tv the other week. Still it is a good pairing and I hope that Aries goes over and gets the rub from Bully Ray.

 

[Keith]

I think they should have a few matches with Aries winning at least once and looking very strong in the others, ulimatley Ray should win the feud as he is the one on his way to the main events, but this certainly could point Austin in the right direction too.

 

[Chris]

I like the feud between them, but I don't want one to "win" the feud because they both should be in the main event, and I'd like it to continue into the main event scene with one winning the belt.

 

[Keith]

But I just meant logically Ray is ahead of Aries in the pecking order and maybe at the moment is maybe more credible as a future main eventer. There is no point in rushing Austin to the top, it will have more impact if it is a slow build.

 

[Chris]

True, plus Bully probably does deserve it more at this point, since he may not have that many years left in his career, although he probably is in the best shape of his life. Honestly, I think the quicker they put the belt on Bully, the better. Just give that man the ball and let him run with it, he'll get the job done.

I am torn with this because I agree with both sides. I agree that Bully Ray should get the title soon to take advantage of how good his heel run has been, doesn't need to be a long title reign, even a one month transitional reign is more than enough. But I think that it would be better for Aries and more importantly the X Division if Aries comes out on top. They need to keep the X Division looking strong and a win by the champion here over a big name like Bully Ray would be huge.

Anyone watch the PPV? Highlight of the night was JB asking Bully Ray my question I submitted on Twitter.

Saw that man, mentioned it in the shoutbox when it happened.

I enjoyed it, Main event was decent. I liked that each match was paced well. That's my biggest concern with TNA spots for the sake of spots. Other than AJ/Angle and it worked in that match they didn't have that today

Main event was pretty sloppy, I didn't like it. KOs match sucked, TV title match was alright at best. Tag match was pretty damn awesome though, as was Bully/Aries. Angle/AJ was good, but I expected more. Didn't like the finish of Hardy/Anderson at all. Also, anyone else notice that they used each others finish a lot? Brooke to Kim, Anderson and Hardy to each other, and Angle to Styles. It got annoying

Oh, and funny thing is, I didn't even hear me mentioned because I took a piss break when JB asked Bully the question If Borash wouldn't have tweeted me, I would never have known lol. Came back just in time to hear Bully say his Myspace bit, which goes down as line of the year, easily.

Read the results and the show sounded good, obviously wasn't too popular though with this thread not being active during the show. Hopefully RVD's injury isn't too serious, would be unlucky if he injured himself the first big match after his return.
