The thing with professional wrestling is, I don’t always think it’s necessarily the fault of the creative when shit goes bad more so I think sometimes certain people are bad fits for certain brands. Like I think Bischoff when he was on it, and he cared was the reason why WCW was successful. But he just didn’t fit TNA, and he didn’t understand it.
Same thing with a Russo in WCW. The WCW fans didn’t like what Russo had to offer and WCW management themselves didn’t understand how to create an environment to make a russo successful like he would be in other places.
And even with Paul Heyman in WWE to a lesser degree. While I disagree personally as I personally thought he booked a pretty great SmackDown 2003 and thought his Raw 2019 was better than anything they had been doing up to that point the WWE felt differently, and it just didn’t work out either time.
