I wonder if Tony Khan is slighty worried about this (cause you know he wants to sign him once his NJPW contract is up) because Ospreay came out and said he hoped to "wrestle for TNA" once the brand came back. Whether or not they can afford him is a different story.

I feel like the biggest part of getting the TNA name back would be the 6-sided ring, but that's not in the plans as of now. Apparently wrestlers prefer 4 sides instead of 6 for their bodies, so I won't complain too much.

To me, it's a name. They've been putting out really good episodes lately, and hopefully they can start vying for a better TV deal and bigger free agents as they build TNA from the ground up.

I still believe Ospreay is AEW bound. He's wrestled too many times for them not to.

He might strike a deal like Omega and Christian had to allow him an Impact appearance or two, but we haven't seen that in a couple years.

if I was a betting man yeah I would still put AEW as the front runner, NJPW second, WWE 3rd and impact close after - simply based on financials and fit

I would love it, I want a one off with Sting too before he retires. Hope all parties can come to a thing they could do. No idea what AEW TNA relation is like these days but I want it to be good again

He did a couple years ago when he was feuding with Omega, but I think he's full-blown AEW now.

Sting? Maybe as an authority figure on-screen.

I think the most fortunate thing for TNA is that they’re coming back at a time when there actually could be potentially some people that are disenfranchised even with AEW as an alternative.

Because as much as Tony would love to, he doesn’t have the room to fully utilize the roster that he’s got right now. So we can potentially see TNA pick up some great names like potentially Miro or Andrade, or whoever. If they opt not to renew and don’t want to go back to WWE.

They can also start looking heavier at NWA and MLW so when a name gets big enough to leave, they can maybe try to snatch them before they’re on the radar of the bigger guys.

Impact did a pay-per-view called homecoming several years ago and I think they could bring that back and make the entire theme of that show old-school TNA guys coming back for one night. Maybe bringing Christian and Sting and all those guys. And maybe if WWE wants to play ball, AJ styles. It’s not completely out of the question now since they did work with New Japan. If AJ comes, he could even bring the good brothers back in with him. I might be the only one to pop for it, but I would.
