TNA will not be taping Impact Wrestling at Universal Studios Orlando anytime soon, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

According to multiple sources, TNA will not be returning to any of Universal's sound-stages as they were unable to secure any dates for 2014 due to the sound-stages being booked out for other productions already.

TNA returned to Universal to tape a number of Impact Wrestling episodes at the end of last year. At the time, TNA's press releases presented Universal as being the "hub" of their Impact 365 social media campaign and noted that the company would have a training center in that market as well.

The Impact episodes taped at Universal Studios will conclude with this Thursday's edition of Impact. TNA will tape several episodes later this month in Huntsville, Alabama, including a live "Genesis" themed episode before heading to Europe at the end of the month for their annual tour, where they will tape a number of episodes as well.

From there, it appears Impact will be back on the road, unless the company is able to find a new regular home for the tapings, because as of now, Universal Studios won't be home base.

It's obvious they've had enough of taking Impact on the road, as it's costing them money. Otherwise they wouldn't of returned to Universal & wouldn't have bothered to try and book dates for 2014. Should be interesting to see if they can find a new home anytime soon.

If this is a true sign of their demise, it's kind of bittersweet. On the one hand they have some really talented people. On the other hand, it is annoying watching them try and failing miserably.

Part of me wants to see TNA die just to see the effects on the Wrestling world. What would WWE do and would they take any stars? Honestly, out of the entire TNA Roster, the only talents that I would want to see in WWE would be Bad Influence, Roode, Angle, and Aries. The rest can just find work in the indies or finally retire. I'm still holding out hope that we'll see Angle one more time in WWE, Roode is a machine and I think he could adapt to WWE style really quick, and his gimmick is already on the money. Aries could be an amazing addition to the Mid card - main event. The matches he could do with Punk, Bryan, Rollins, Jericho, Cesaro, Kingston, Ambrose, Ziggler, could be show stealers.

At least this means we don't have to hear "you still got it" to every wrestler over 30.

So...

They can't afford to go on the road every week, but just lost their "home base" as much of a TNA supporter and fan as I am, this might be the writing on the wall. The only place they really turn a profit is the UK and you can't stay there all year

WWE won't pick up any TNA wrestlers, most are too old, and already have a TNA stigma on them. It isn't that they were supposed "competition":it is the perceived (and well deserved I might add) attitude of TNA "stars", WWE don't like guys who think they know more than the guys who have been doing major things in this business forever. Also the major reason why WWE hardly sign indy guys.

TNA folds, you lose the last place for anyone to actually make money outside of WWE solely on wrestling. You also have wrestling personel, backstage agents, trainers, production teams, creative teams and a roster of how many wrestlers out of a job.

Wrestling ins't as hot as it was in 02 when PPV companies would put any throw together wrestling show on. You are left with one option, if you want pro wrestling with commentary you can understand.

Cuz New Japan ain't paying no gaijin to bradcast,

Incorrect.

Universal is having a WWE Hall of Fame(/eatery of some sort) but it wasn't the sound stage.
