Anyone besides me feel it's all just set up as an elaborate way to get Joey Ryan over?

Who have they elevated? The only person that participated in Gut Check that's been elevated in Joey Ryan and he lost the damn thing.

I think getting Joey Ryan over and helping bring him in is a major part of what it's become but I'm sure that's not really the only purpose. They'll use it to help get some new guys sooner or later, right now it is definitely about Joey Ryan though. I'm cool with that, I just hope this isn't drawn out for too long...

I'm sure the majority Gut Check segments are written with the Joey Ryan angle in mind. It's a very calculated and incredible way to bring him in.

However TNA has a real purpose behind it besides Mr. Ryan.

They do have Gut Check seminars all over the country and are constantly scouting Independent talent.

That said it doesn't get more "real" than when TNA thoroughly shuts out a family man on LIVE TV and then have Joey Ryan call you out for it!
