I know some people don't care but i'm pretty interested in this year's Bound For Glory series. I'll keep updated with the standings for the next few months. Feel free to comment on the matches from the series that will be happening on Impact and on house shows which are pretty interesting. I may be going to a house show next month in TNA so I could report on a few BFG matches. Here are standings right now.

1. James Storm 73 (finished)
2. Samoa Joe 68
3. Rob Van Dam 55
3. Bully Ray 55
5. A.J Styles 50 (finished)
7. Jeff Hardy 49
6. Kurt Angle 48 (finished)
8. Mr.Anderson 47 (finished)
9. Christopher Daniels 33 (finished)
10. Magnus 28 (finished)
11. Robbie E 12 (finished)
12. Pope 7 (injured)

Nice to have this. I'm sure as hell not going to be able to remember who has how many points so I'll probably venture into here from time to time.

I like this, I wish they wouldn't have BFG matches at live events though, I didn't really like that last year too much, I wanna' be able to see everything that happens.

Stop giving me bad flashbacks! I got faith that they might use Joe in a good way right now. At least he didn't have to job to that stale jackass Mr.Anderson.

That makes it even more important. They already will have tons of matches on Impact. This means that everyone in the BFG series has to be ready every night. Of course, I wish I could watch those matches as well.

Pope got aided by Abyss when he beat Bully Ray. I don't know what they are doing with Bully Ray. He always loses yet he never fails to entertain. I don't get what there doing with Storm right now making it go crazy right now with the lead. Wouldn't you want him to struggle early on then go on a major tear. Strange booking something TNA is no stranger to.

Bully Ray is my favorite person in TNA, with Aries being a close second. If anyone but Storms wins, it better be Bully, as good as he's been the last couple years, he deserves something. I never thought I'd ever like him as a singles guy.

Lately, Bully has been losing big matches but last year when they were building him to be a constant upper midcarder he was winning just about every big match. So I guess TNA is actually working off something they did... He still shouldn't have lost to Joseph Park at Slammiversary after he won a ****1/2 match with A.J. Styles the year prior at the same event but I think it would be hard for Ray based on the way he portrays himself for him to lose too much stature. Kind of like Jericho.

^ Yeah totally agree with that, the Parks feud has put a big spanner in the works for Ray's main event push.

Also while I like the idea behind this series and at least its TNA building something over a long period for a change, as well as matches being on house shows I have to question points being at stake in such things as a battle royal or tag match. Why not just have one on ones since this is going to lead to a shot at the TNA Title?

Well, I like them switching it up from just normal singles matches every now and then but that Battle Royal was clearly worth too many points. I don't see how Storm is going to lose much going into BFG either unless Roode starts getting heavily involved in his matches.

They had some BFG matches last night.

Daniels beat Angle via count out to get 5 points. Nice result for Daniels, I didn't want him to be a job guy in this series.
Samoa Joe tapped out Robbie E to get 10 points. Joe is now in 2nd place, I'm trying to hide my excitement but I'm very thrilled. Take that Fab no negative points this year!
James Storm and Mr Anderson had double count out to each get 2 points. Its nice to see Storm not winning every match even though I'm not an Anderson fan. I can see Anderson being in top 3 or even last two when this is all over.

Nice job with this thread, be good keeping track of who is doing what this series. I am glad that both Joe and Pope have managed to get some points on the board. I hope that this year they don't have anyone go into the negatives, in a relatively even competition it couldn't hurt for all guys to have some points.

Robbie E isn't going to pick up a win in this is he? Jeff Hardy and James Storm should be a good match coming up.
