Lot of BFG series to cover.

Storm beat Magnus Saturday to get 7 points at an Impact house show. No surprise there, Storm is going to rack on the wins.

Mr.Anderson beat Pope to get 7 points. That would be an instant fast forward if on TV. My two least favorite people in the series, I'm a bit surprised they aren't pushing Pope more after being a part of the movie. Then again, he does stink in the ring.

Now for the live show from last night.

Samoa Joe made Pope tap out to get 10 points. Happy to see that Joe is back on board and in first place. Things are look positive right now, although he's been wrestling a lot. He'll probably get a break while other guys get BFG series matches.

Daniels beat RVD to get 7 points. I like Daniels a lot and happy he got the win because he's in a big angle and it's not right for him to be jobbed out so much. He probably won't be any higher than top 6 but good to see him win one.

Robbie E count out victory over Hardy to get 5 points has to suck for Hardy fans. The pushover and considered to be a guy that wasn't going to get any point actually got one on Hardy. It was a really sloppy finish and it was just shady all around. Hardy will get his points back but the swerve for a guy like Robbie E was fishy.

Bully Ray finally got on the board pinning Magnus to get 7 points. I haven't seen it yet but I'm interested to see how a heel vs heel match is going to work. Bully Ray needed a win desperately as well, good to see him get on the board. Magnus is falling off a bit after a hot start.

Mr Anderson beat Styles to get 7 points which is a bit surprising. Anderson is going to be a main factor in the series while Styles will probably be just involved with the storyline. It stinks to see Styles lose this much but I can see where there coming from.

Well Magnus was pretty playing a face against Bully Ray if that helps.

I just saw it Magnus looked good although Bully needs to stay on his feet while doing the move. Isn't the Bubba Cutter or whatever he calls it now usually just a drop, no jump. It looked like an RKO big time. Christopher Daniels actually has 19 points, not sure who he beat.

A few matches happened in the past few house shows.

Friday had RVD beat Robbie E again. Robbie E is back to his job ways in this BFG series with Anderson. I'm just happy this won't be on TV because this is an instant fast forward match. Jeff Hardy beat Anderson to get 7 points in another match i'm happy that won't be on TV. Thanks for keeping these off TV because its either redundant or brutal.

I wish we got to see Styles vs Hardy on TV which would have been great. Styles got the 7 points which was smart since he needs to be in the pack. The other match had Anderson beat Robbie E to get 7 points which isn't surprising.

Yeah Styles/Hardy is the only one which really stands out there, those two could have a hack of a thread if they based it on AJ calling Jeff a WWE reject and the fact Styles has been in TNA since day one etc..

The sites are starting not to report house show results for Impact so I erased all the results. I've updated the standings list right now and it's looking very competitive. My only complaint is that I'd rather see Bully Ray or Daniels in 4th and not Anderson.

My prediction right now is that Storm and Joe will finished level on points at the top and have a play off in the first match at BFG with the winner then to face the champion in the main event. That winner will be Storm imo.

My pick to win would have been Bully Ray as he has stumbled a bit since his push last year and needs this sort of win to build him back up, also there might be a limited amount of time for TNA to profit from him.

As long as Anderson (who isn't good enough) and Angle (who doesn't need it) don't win then I will be happy.

New standings have been updated until tomorrow when more results have come out. Just a quick recap of what's going on. Its pretty odd that The Pope has been a job guy in the series. He's been losing in just about every house show although I don't mind because he's awful. Its just strange considering he's coming back from being a part of a movie. Storm has really taken control of the leader board, which shouldn't surprise anyone. I'm very happy to see Daniels around the top four mix because he deserves it after for his performances in the past few months. I really like Daniels and its good to see they aren't making him into a complete job guy. Other than that, nothing thats really surprising on the leader board although it would be nice to see Bully Ray do some more but then again his contract is coming up so he might just continue to job or possibly be a part of an injury angle.

Table is now updated. I do like the unpredictable changes but something about RVD in 2nd just doesn't feel right. RVD isn't the same anymore and he doesn't create any buzz at the top. Bully Ray winning was awesome last night, he deserves to be in upper echelon on the table. They made Styles relevant in the BFG series now and it was a creative way to do it. Overall some good decisions but I'd personally like to see someone else than RVD in the top four.

BFG series is almost about to end. Things are starting to clear out with the contenders and pretenders. I'm very happy to see that Anderson will not be in the top four and won't be competing at a main event spot at No Surrender.These are the remaining matches left before the BFG series ends.
Matches Left:

* James Storm vs. RVD
* Bully Ray vs. RVD
* Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles
* Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy
* Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy

I'm shocked that Angle only has one more match. I really expected him to be in the top four and I still think he'll somehow sneak in. Personally I would love Storm, Joe, Angle, Bully Ray make in top four and drop RVD out. RVD just doesn't excite me anymore and it would be great to see one of the most must see heels on television these days perform on a big stage by making the top four. Jeff Hardy has a shot but honestly don't see him making it in the end. I'm hearing good things backstage about him how he's more focused in the ring and doing things to improve his life but still I think their way more deserving guys to put that top four spot. Hopefully Storm and Bully Ray beat RVD to solidify their spots in the top four along with Samoa Joe who I'm thrilled about. The fact that Joe is going to be in a big match at No Surrender is going to be great. I'd love to see Angle vs Joe and Storm vs Bully Ray at the respective singles matches even if it has been seen recently, they were really fun to watch. i'm really looking forward to how things play out. I would be bummed out if Joe or Bully Ray don't make it for RVD when both Joe and Bully Ray have stepped it up big time in the past few months.

Seems like it is one from the top three then I take it Ray can't make up the nine point with just match to go. Will be amazed if they give it to Van Dam, so Samoa Joe or Storm will get it now I think in which case one might have to switch heel unless of couse the champ is going to the dark side which seems possible by his recent heelish nature.

The recent updates are up. Two guys were eliminated tonight based off singles matches. A.J Styles was eliminated by Samoa Joe in a really solid match. It wasn't the best stuff because of time limits but these two can still deliver. I was little surprised that Styles is out, maybe he would have been in No Surrender but get screwed by Daniels. Either way that feud is going to go on. Kurt Angle was eliminated by Jeff Hardy, which didn't surprise me. Angle is going to be one of the main guys fighting against Ace & 8's along with the fact that they have to build a Joe-Hardy match next week. If Hardy lost, it would have made the match pretty pointless for Jeff.

With five guys left and two match ups to go, its about to end. James Storm is locked in for the final four after beating RVD but he might lose his first spot if Samoa Joe beats Jeff Hardy. Also a huge match between Bully Ray and RVD will take place to settle a spot. If I was booking it, I would have Hardy and Bully Ray win next week. I'll always respect RVD for how good he was back then but I really don't want to see him in a high profile match at No Surrender. Hardy has stayed clean and putting on some pretty damn good matches recently. He's not slow and dull like RVD has become. A final four of Storm, Joe, Ray, and Hardy would make for great stuff at No Surrender.
