I play Gears of War 3 professionally here in Australia, participating in multiple online tournaments and have attended a few LAN events.

Now, I just want to know everyone's thoughts on the matter?

In America you guys have the casual competitive scene in the form of GameBattles, then you have the actual pro players that participate in tournaments and shit. In Australia, we don't have that medium between the casual and professional.

With video games carrying there stereotypical baggage, what do you think on the matter? Interesting? Hate it?

Does it have a future? Should all games steer towards attracting a competitve edge to it? Any other intriguing thoughts to come across your wrestling-filled, sporting minds?

Love you all.
Bye now.

I have a friend who makes like 250 dollars a day playing StarCraft 2 online. He streams his gameplay on some popular gaming site with a program that runs ads running in the background. It's cheap but if you can get that good at the game I'd say go for it.

I don't like the idea of competitive gaming. Ruins the fun aspect. I have nothing against those who do it, but it's just not for me. I'm a casual gamer who sometimes likes to troll.
