It is irrelevant, it had to do with sexualized themes and characters such as on screen nudity, pimps, pornstars etc
Had nothing to do with a woman wrestling guys, in fact Chyna wrestled guys until the very end of the year in 2000, you forgot Val Venis vs Chyna from Armageddon, again rewatch 2000, 1999 and 2001 too.
The RTC story had to do with the Playboy magazine.
Incorrect, she became women’s champion and then had matches with Ivory, Molly Holly squashing then leading to the Lita feud, the purpose of it was to make Lita credible. That’s the first competitive match she had with a woman.
Trish Status was floating aimlessly, yet they kept her around. She had absolutely nothing to do after Mcmahon story all the way until Invasion.
So the entire argument goes out the window, Chyna was 10x more popular than Trish Stratus.
That’s a lot of jibber jabber to arrive at the same conclusion that by the end of the year she was exclusively wrestling women as I said. This was apart of the overall shift in the tone. Network tv didn’t like the idea of men wrestling women and they still don’t.
And you again prove my point. She squashed all of her competition within the first few months of her being in the women’s division and by May she had no one left.
Trish isn’t even comparable because she had a place in the new direction and had women people could buy into her wrestling without it being like we’ve seen her wrestle Jericho so there’s no way Stacy Keibler was gonna be a threat to her (not that it matters because Stacy came in after they let Chyna go).
Can we agree to disagree yet? This is even worse than the other part because this is entirely subjective if Chyna had good angles to work on tv. JR And Vince seem to have agreed with me, though.
So can we talk about the Kreski, the actual topic?
