There are a lot of theme songs in the WWE that are incredibly memorable. Some more than others, like in every company of the past. I've been thinking of making this thread for a long time and finally decided to do it now.

Are there any theme songs (past or present) that remind you of a specific moment in wrestling?

For me whenever I hear Triple H's theme song, it always reminds me of when he returned in 2002. When I hear Undertaker's current theme, I think of his Wrestlemania XX return. The biggest one of all time that comes to mind is Stone Cold's theme songs. His Disturbed 'Glass Shatters' theme will always remind me of his amazing entrance at Wrestlemania X-Seven. The atmosphere of that entrance was terrific.

Re: Theme Songs That Remind You Of Specific Moment

Great thread.

Have to agree with you 100% on Taker's music. He has returned quite a few times to wrestling, but none more special than WM XX.

When I hear Kane's current theme with the organ I immediately think of his insane debut. His "Slow Chemical" theme by Finger Eleven always reminds me of summer 03, when he took the mask off, more specifically being brought to the ring in shackles with the towel on his head because I can remember the theme playing for the whole song.

Chris Jericho's theme reminds me of his return in 07 (which while it was more than great to have him back, his initial feud with Orton was lackluster) when he did his Save.Us. gimmick

Great thread.

Why, thank you, sir. I appreciate that a lot.

I 1000% agree with these two. Whenever I hear Slow Chemical, it'll always remind me of when I was legit petrified of Kane when he was in shackles and when Stone Cold was the Sheriff and was threatening to have the cops stun gun him.

The Jericho one is a great shout out. I was in Florida at the time visiting some family members and marking out huge at his return. So yeah, his theme song definitely reminds me of that return. Looking back, it's not the greatest return ever but still memorable for me.

First and foremost is CM Punk's Cult of Personality. The moment that plays I think of his return in the Summer of 2011.

No one knew what was going on until Punk came out and the audience exploded.

He didn't need to say a word, raised his WWE Title and showed John Cena that the real champ was here. Goosebumps.

Yes. Yes. Fucking yes. I can't believe I didn't add that into the OP. The exact moment pops in my head whenever I listen to it.

Austin's glass shattering always makes me think of Mankind winning the WWE Championship. I know why it does, but I still find it odd that I most closely associate Austin's iconic theme with Mick Foley instead of Austin himself.

He wasn't using that in 1999, was he?

Well I am going way back in the past, but everytime I heard the I am a real American Theme like at WM2 coming back from the nice injury and Hogan coming out to face Bundy was great along with the slam of Andre.

Though not one we hear everyday... or one we'll probably never hear, Too Cool's theme always reminds me of:

that's a moment

The beginning of the theme he was using had glass shattering. I think it was different than the one he was using by X-Seven, but I was more referring to the original question that Viper asked.

Oh, I thought you meant Disturbed's version.

No, just meant I always equate the sound of the glass shattering in his theme to Mankind's title win.

Austin running out to scare off the Corporation certainly was a highlight moment.

Although if I were to think of that moment for the glass shattering, I'd say WrestleMania 13.

They had the actual glass break before he stepped out to have that iconic match with Bret Hart. Always think of that.

-When I hear Dango's theme, I think of a time that I was at the TD Garden for Raw, and people were "Fandangoing" after the show, and in the Parking Lots.

-When I hear Rob Van Dam's "Whole F'N Show" Theme, I remember how god awful TNA's themes are.
