Don't know where or how to talk about this. But my mom has been in hospital in and out for 2 weeks now, in Mexico. She caught covid and is imunocompromised with rheumatoid arthritis. Now she's back in due to massive inflammation and they are advising flying her back to Canada in a medical helicopter. Haven't heard anything since yesterday. I'm terrified. I'm anxious. And there's nothing I can do. Im also stuck thinking Eben if she's fine today, I have limited time as she is getting worse every year and already also died 8 years ago due to a brain infection because of her bad system. This fucking sucks

I'm sorry you're dealing with this buddy. As someone who lost a loved one recently, I feel that. Being in one place, them in another, knowing it may only be a matter of time.

Also my grandfather has been in and out of the hospital a lot the past two years so I know the fear. Hang in there.

I’m so sorry to hear about your mother. I lost a father a few years back, but it was sudden. I couldn’t imagine that anxiety of not knowing if she’s gonna be fine or even get home. This disease has taken too much from us. I hope she makes it. If you need anything, don’t fret reaching out to anyone.

I found out today an old coworker of mine passed away suddenly two days ago at the age of 50. It wasn't even a year ago that I had last seen them and they seemed fairly healthy. Just scary.

So yesterday on one of our tours a guest died so that was a pretty eventful afternoon.

Hey everybody.

I have not been in the right state of mind. Wednesday night, me and my mom got at it. She yelled at my face and I've pretty much didn't care anymore after that. I snapped at Duke, told Deezy to kill himself after that comment he made. I got away from the forum for my actions. Since last year, I've been constantly drinking every night for months. I usually don't drink any other day. I drink to find solace because I'm afraid that things will never get better. I've also took melatonin with my alcohol before I go to bed, hoping for better sleep, but it ends up disrupting my sleeping pattern. I haven't been taking of myself. I want the things I desire: A new place, a life, a boyfriend, but living with mom and no vehicle has taken it's toll on my mental health. I sincerely want to apologize to both Deezy and Duke for my anger. I'm desperate to find happiness.

Yeah, so this these last couple of months have been rough for me as mentioned before, but lucky I began going back to therapy and she has helped me a lot in the recent month especially with me being negative all of the time. So pretty much she has/is helping me to be less...Hipster/Snobbish I suppose you could say. And by that, I mean she has been helping get over the thing where I am like "Well, I liked them before everyone and blah blah blah" and then proceeds to hate them once they get big/popular or just generally hating things that popular just for the sake of it like AEW. A lot of it stemed from me having a Superiority Complex and a Controlling Complex as well as a "need" to be different/conflicting for the sake of it so i don't follow the herd which in my mind is a awful thing to do. Thus why I would be an ass/bitch on here or just get pissed off and ignore people. And the fact I am a middle child, I always wanted something that was "mine" and no one elses so that was another reasoing for my attitude. So yeah, I haven been getting better slowly breaking those ways of thinking, which is more painfull then telling Jeff I somewhat like AEW, and trying to be better and not so conflicting, I think is the word to use. So yeah, this all for this update.
