So can many other people and I just don't get why.

Considering the way they like shoving Cena down our throats, I wouldn't doubt it. If the match took place (and it probably will at 30), I'd bet on Taker but I don't really doubt Cena winning.

They seem adamant on Cena acquiring most accolades (MITB winner, multiple times RR winner, record holder of WWE title wins and other accolades, it seems the only thing left for him is the streak) I'm not going to bust out the old down the throat cliche as he hasn't been forced for quite a while now IMO. Interested to hear why you're confident he wouldn't end now tbh.

Good points, but as Cena has gotten older, he has laid down more often. Just look at him last year, he laid down for Tensai.

Furthermore, Cena seems like a decent guy and I highly doubt he'd even want the streak. Undertaker reportedly has complete control of his streak so it doesn't matter what WWE want for Cena in terms of accolades, and if Orton denied the streak then I am damn sure Cena would too considering Orton is a jackass lol.

More likely Trips IMO, it fits too well. Brock broke his arm and beat him now he's possibly attacking his father in law.

If Taker is in the shape dirt sheets say he is, I really don't think he'll be working with Brock at WM.

I'd love all that to be deliberate releases and the match had a shoot feel to it, they've slowly been making Taker more human every year now as if the spirit of the undertaker is dwindling leaving the shell of Mark Calloway. Plus with all the news of Taker's shoulder Brock locking in the Kimura would be mad psychology.

I'm only interested in Taker if he has a match with Lesnar.

Yes. But it'd be interesting if they sold that, I mean, we all know Taker's shoulder is screwed up but the casuals don't. I do see your point though.

They could easily make it noticable IMO, have him go to attack Brock the week before Mania hook him up for a chokeslam lift him but then drop him and clutch his shoulder as Brock smiles and locks in the kimura, the show ends with that image.

Yes, they can do it easily. Just doesn't feel like they'd build Taker as vulnerable, well, I don't know, I just feel like they wouldn't do it. But it's the logical thing to do ofc.

I think there's cause for legitimate concern over Taker losing his streak to Cena at WM30. It's wrestling tradition to go out on your back, and Taker seems like the kind who would respect and adhere to that tradition. But on the flip side, WWE sees Undertaker as such a respected legend that they may make an exception in his case (depends on which they feel more strongly towards - desperately trying to make Cena their greatest star ever or honoring Taker's legacy at Wrestlemania the best way possible.) They even put Taker on their version of Mt. Rushmore, even though realistically, that fourth spot should have gone to either Bruno or The Rock.

That's why I'm all for Cena winning the belt at Wrestlemania and having a long title reign and dominant year, because it increases probability that he loses at Wrestlemania next year.
