How many of you watched this show? I finished season 1 and I am now on season 2. I love this show! Great dialogue, acting and writing. Moreover, considering that I am Italian, I love that I can understand what they are saying at all times.

Tony Soprano is a wonderful character but he has to stop cheating on his wife! I hope his wife beats the hell out of him one day.

Best television series of all time. Nothing tops it in my opinion.

If you loved the first season you'll love the rest. Season 3 would be my favourite out of all of them, although they're all equally brilliant.

What's truly amazing is it was the first of it's kind... A weekly episodic show on a premium channel with no commercials and no restrictions.... no show has come close to how good it was but it has paved the way for several other terrific shows that might not have had the chance (Dexter, True Blood, Entourage, Game of Thrones to name a few)... Enjoy it, I'm sure you will

I'm watching it now for the first time too, and I agree it's very good.

I still think Meadow Soprano is one of the most worthless/annoying characters I've ever experienced in a television series, but whatever. At least it's easy to ignore her for now.

Also, I think Betty Draper from Mad Men is a good competitor for that title.

It is most likely the greatest TV Show ever made and has been mentioned paved the way for a lot of other TV Shows.

AJ and Meadow fluctuate between who is more annoying throughout the 7 Seasons.

Better enjoy the first 3 seasons, because absolutely nothing happens in that show after it.

Talk about a fall from grace, that show was the shit and whole damn outhouse then it turned into Charmin.

She's an idiot at the moment but I can't blame her entirely. Tony Soprano isn't exactly the best father figure.

Bumping this from forever ago because I just spent the last couple months or so watching the show for the first time. Fucking awesome stuff, the last half of season 6 (may as well be called season 7) was fucking crazy. Also, as I told Dod, I don't see how anyone can be disappointed on the final scene unless it went right over their heads, maybe it was just obvious to me what happened, but they sure as hell didn't cut out without anything finalized in my mind.

I've been watching it over again, halfway through Season 3 now. I always forget just how many of the memorable scenes all happen in season 1. And as good as the show is, Chris heavy episodes always suck, Janice is one of the worst, most pointless characters in TV history and Meadow/AJ spend far too much time bitching and complaining.

Anybody who didn't get the end should google 'sopranos definitive explanation of the end'. I got it, and loved it. That article, or essay morelike, confirms just how great the ending is. And it obviously confirms it for people who didn't understand/ like it.
